Saphira sprinted through the dense forest of Ianne. The muscular dragon legs that hid behind her human form made her able to sprint faster than any ordinary human. As she reached the roots of a huge tree, she jumped on them and spurted upwards as long as she was able to make her feet sticking to a solid ground.
Just in the second as the thick roots started to rise up vertically into the air she made a huge jump and grabbed for a small root that hung a few meters high. She pulled herself up and continued to climb the tree.
As she climbed towards the top, her white hair flew in the heavy wind that blew strong in a hight like this. Reaching some horizontal ground again she ran again down the roots that seemed to float in mid-air because the huge crowns of the trees were even connected with each other in a hight like that. Her feet followed the wodden bridges that were covered with all different sorts of vegation until she finally reached a dead end of the other trees branch.
She stopped right at the spot, breathing heavily, and taking a look at the view. Exactly thats why she choose the training grounds of Ianne, she already heard so much about. Because of the twisted vegetation that can give her a breathtaking view like this one. Her eyes traveled over the crowns of the lower trees that did not reach up that high.
And next to that no other place could give her a feeling like this one. It was finally a place, far away from any curious people, where she can let out all her left over energy that has been filling up her graceful human body.
Then she spread her arms to the sides. "And.... its almost like flying..." She whispered and closed her eyes, enjoying the wind that embraced her body, making her think about the time where she was still able to fly. She never thought that she would miss it this much.

Saji was sitting on a tree branch. One of his feet dangling while the other arched up to support one of his arms. His back was pressed against the trunk of the tree. He kinda enjoyed sitting in trees. He rested his head against the trunk as well. He almost enjoyed how peaceful it was here. And was considering moving here. He knew right away that She would have a problem with it. She always has had a problem with him being in the same area. He couldn't help it. Saji wanted to protect his sister and that was all there was too it. So yeah he walked in on her and Tyr having an 'intimate' moment. But it was an accident ok. Honest!
Saji was lost in thought about his sister, how he could try to make it up to her. If it were possible, he wanted to be close to her. Not this stay-the-hell-away-from-me act. But his concentration was broken by something coming his way. He wasn't alarmed or anything more like curious. What was coming his way. Saji leaned forward moving some of the branches out of the way only to see a woman running as fast as she could. What surprised Saji the most, she was running so fast that she gained enough speed to start running up the tree. Why was she running. Saji could sence nothing else for miles and miles to come.
Saji continued to watch her as she came out on a branch. She seemed breathless. Spreding her arms out like she wanted to ... fly? Saji then hopped over towards the Tree. Seems how they weren't too far apart. Climbing a few branches he was now standing behind her on the branch. She was a little close to the edge for his comfort. "Careful there miss, wouldn't want you to fall" he said with a warm and gentle smile.

With all her senses listening to the leaves that sung in the wind and feeling the gusts of wind that playfully tugged on her clothing and hair she didn`t notice at all that she has been watched. Why should she pay attention though? How many people would roam around in a hight like this?
Thats when a mans vice suddenly pierced through the silence. Saphiras body tensed up and the only thing that prevented her from taking an involuntary flight into the breathtaking view was her experience as a assassin and warrior from long ago.... and probably the weight of the lance on her back that kept her in balance.
Letting out a rather loud gasp she turned around on the spot and faced a guy who was standing in front of her. 'How did he get up here?' She thought in confusion. But because she didn`t want to make any rude impression she just let out an unsure "Uh.. hello?"

Saji just stood there, he wasn't trying to scare her or anything. He was just so curious. "No need to worry miss, I mean no harm" She just struck his curiosity was all. Not many people run through the forest like that. At least not any that looked as pretty as her.
"The name's Saji, and You are?" He asked her. He thought that possibly introducing himself may help break the ice. As rare as it was for someone to be running in the woods like that, It was even more rare to see someone climb up a tree like she did. So now he was interested, What was she trying to do?

Even though the man said that he didn`t mean to harm her, that didn`t have to be the truth. Saphira lost track on how many times she used that sentence just to gain somebodies trust in order to fulfill her fathers dirty tasks. She did not have any prejudices, she was only cautious.
"I´m Saphira... Saphira Kain" She replied slowly. There was no reason for her why she should not have a little chat with this guy. He didn`t look like that type who tracks his victims down and starts a random talk just before he strikes. "Amusing." She let out with a smile. "Two people, their names starting with an S, roaming around in a completely deserted area, and they just happen to stumble upon each other."
So she used her charm like she is used to do so to gain information. Maybe it wouldn`t take that long at all until she knows what kind of reasons brought him to a place like this.

"Saphira..." He repeated after her. "A beautiful name for a beautiful woman." He said. Her name only complimented her looks. The way the gentle wind blew against her hair. It soothed her very well. There was something about her that reminded him of his sister. Maybe it was the long hair and the dress. He didn't see girls like that often.
"Why it must be fate that we met" He said still smirking at the girl.

Saphiras face expression wasn`t changing a bit when she heard his words. 'Either hes just trying to be nice.... or hes a flirt.' She concluded in her thoughts. 'I hope hes not the second one.. I`ve had enough of those.' She continued ranting. It was not even in a mean way, it was only a conclusion that came to her mind.
She also noticed that he had been eyeing her from hair to feet and backwards. But it seemed to her more like a normal check instead of staring, since his face was not having 'those' eyes. Not yet at least. So she decided to ignore it.
Something that she couldn`t ignore though was the smirk on Sajis face that came with his next comment. She couldn`t help but to categorize it as a flirt immediately. Letting out a sign she replied though, because she did want to continue the talk. After all she wanted to know what he was doing here.
"Thank you, but I don`t think that we should blame fate for it. After all, we both had our intentions to roam around here, didn`t we?"

Saji nodded his head. Roam, wasn't quite the word he was looking for. More like getting some fresh air, Clearing the mind. But most importantly, he wanted to get away from all the noise that a typical busy town would have. "You're right, Forgive me for confusing fate, with luck" He smirked. "I was simply enjoying the nice weather we're having today, Don't you agree" He said calmly. And yet, Saphira looked somewhat uneasy, yet totally calm at the same time. He was having the hardest time reading her.

Saphira let her eyes trail over to the white clouds in the sky. It could be interpreted like if she was rolling her eyes, but her face expression just didn`t match it at all. "We have indeed a nice weather today." She agreed with him as the wind was once again blowing her hair and the leaves that hung around the two of them, except behind Saphira, since from Sajis perspective there were nothing but clouds behind her.
Then she made a step towards Saji, since she was still standing at the dead end of the branch, and walked around him gracefully to gain a bit more ground to stand on. "So what made you decide to try to find you luck out in a place like this one?" She asked him playfully as she turned around again, standing behind him now.

Saji's eyes followed Saphira. She was toying with him and he could tell. "The forest is always good to me, Providing me a peaceful place to sit" He said as he turned himself towards Saphira. For some reason it was as if she knew that he had an interest in her. Saji smirk stayed on his face.
"What about you, What brings you here to the forest?" he asked her. Though he had the feeling it was going to be something similar. He didn't know what to exactly to say to her. And the fact that she looked like she was about to jump off the tree branch still bothered him. "Why, It looked like you were going to fly away, before I came" He mentioned. Maybe he would get an answer to why she was doing that.

Now Saphira was the one whose eyes traveled from Sajis feet to his head, then her eyes got stuck on his smirk again. 'He is seriously keeping that face, eh?' She asked herself in her thoughts, but then decided that she won`t let herself be troubled because of that. 'Well, as long as he behaves himself it should be fine I guess.'
"Always, mh? So you have been wandering through the forest quite a few times before in order to find some peace?" Saphira managed to ask the guy before he was the one who started to ask questions now.
Well, after all he has answered her question, she had no other choice but to reply to him. "I come to places like that because I they calm me down and I can be for myself." She answered and proved Sajis suggestion to be right.
His next question was startling Saphira for a second and made her wonder about how long exactly he had been watching her. Since she thought that she was obviously alone, she had not bothered with checking the area while she was running. Has he probably seen that too ?
"Well, don`t you sometimes wish that you could fly?" She replied with a smile to block the thoughts that were troubling her.

Saji smiled when she asked him if he ever wanted to fly. He never thought about wanting to fly, seems how if he did want to fly, he would fly. It wasn't necessarily a problem for him. Thats when his smile got a little bit brighter. "No actually" He said
He then took a step closer. He could feel a repealing aura so he didn't touch her. He was a few inches away from her. "Do you want to go flying?" He whispered into her ear. Saji's wing then suddenly started to come out of his back, Just to show her exactly what he meant by going flying.

Saphiras raised her eyebrows at Sajis answer, but didn`t move as he made a step closer to her. 'He's still behaving himself.' She kept repeating in her mind not sure about when he is actually getting too far.
As he whispered into her ear after approaching her, Saphira raised her eyebrows. "Excuse me?" She said with a slight uneasy voice, but on the other hand she was curious on what he actually meant by asking her such a thing. Then she noticed how a pair of wings slowly extended from his back and suddenly understood what he meant.
'Great..' She started thinking. 'If I decline it makes me look pretty suspicious.. and if I agree then its a free ticket for him to hold on tight.' It wasn`t the first time that she run into a problem with hiding her true being, it wasn`t always possible to make it through, but it was better for others not to know about it.
Something inside of her, call it female intuition, told her though that she shouldn`t go with him even if it means that shes giving herself away. Most likely he has seen her running already anyway.
She took a step backward and replied with a joking voice. "Aren't you going a bit too fast there?" She was still keeping her smile and was not showing that she was troubled for a second.

Saji smiled stayed on his face, as he watched her back up. Saji let out a shrug as his wings stayed out. "Me? going fast? .... Naw" He shook his head. She was pretty, he gave her that. But Saji, could care less about getting moving fast or what not. Usually girls would be all over him by now. So it really didn't phase him that she stepped back. Besides, he was just trying to be nice. honest. Though being nice, he normally got rewarded with something in his favor.
"Was just trying to be nice was all" He said stuffing his hands in his pockets. He kept that playful look on his face. "But i guess you really dont want to go flying as much as you say you did"

In Saphiras eyes Saji seemed pretty sure about his actions, and also his words don't seem to be a lie. "Alright then, so you normally ask women if they want to take a flight with you?" She asked curious. She wouldn`t be surprised if he answered her question with a yes. Saphira would say that he looks quite like the type who can get a women easily to do what he wants.
Her tough replies were slowly fading though. One part of her just wanted to say why exactly she declined, and the other part wanted to keep her secret until she was aware how much Saji has already seen.
So Saphira decided to bluntly ask him right away, thats the only way to get an answer. "Say.. how long have you been watching me earlier?" She asked unsure and totally ignored his last sentence.
