Saphira continued to rest in his arms until she was calming down again. It sure was nice to get some sort of comfort after all this time with nobody close having around her. But still she couldn't help but feeling somehow out of place, while leaning on his chest. She wasn't used to it. Saphira had memories from long ago where she was feeling the need for somebody or a strong shoulder to rest on, but during the last year these feelings pretty much vanished.
As she was slowly getting back to her normal self again, she put on a smile when Saji told her to do so. She also couldn't prevent to smirk as Saji was complimenting her looks. 'There he goes again..' She concluded in her mind, but wasn't upset or angry in any way. It only helped her to realize where she was... In the arms of a stranger.
She slowly escaped Sajis arms and took a step backwards. "Thank you." She thanked him for the compliment and also for the comfort. While replying she had the same kind smile on her face when she just met him.
"And thank you for sharing your story." She added after, because she didn't know what else to say.

Saji then raised his eyebrow at the woman who suddenly didn't want any comfort anymore. He sighed. 'Women, Can never decide what they really want' he thought to himeself. She was quite the odd ball in his eyes. Saji
"You're welcome" He said noticing that she's now smiling again. Which was a good thing. Saji found his comfort once again on the trunk of the tree. Saji then grew curious, what would uspet her so much that she take comfrot from a stranger.

She finally got over her sudden breakdown and with that, she was not even sure if she liked what just happened. She tried to push away her the memories, but it was not that easy since she had no idea what she should say on the other hand.
Actually it would be her turn now to tell something about her own person. But after what just happened she was kind of confused if she should really do it. In the end if would mean nothing else than getting close to somebody again... or was she just afraid?
Saphira let out a small sigh as she was eyeing the clouds again. 'There are only two possibilities... talking or running. What to choose?'

Saji looked at the woman. She was becoming distant again. He sighed again, as he flopped down leaning on the trunk of the tree. "So... Tell me, Why do you not want to be reminded of something you cant do? Dose that mean you can fly yourself?" He asked. Seems how it looked like she wasn't going to just tell him out on her own.
It looked as if she needed a push, to say something. Otherwise, He and her were going to be sitting here all night without saying a word. Women really are bad about opening up. Even for being the emotional ones. They really are such strange creatures.

Saphira eyed Saji again as he sighed while leaning at the tree. 'What is it?' She asked herself wondering what might be wrong. But after Saji started to talk again, she had an assumption about what was going on. 'Maybe he is losing his patience?' She thought while her eyes went over his relaxed face expression.
'But its only fair if I start to talk now...' She reminded himself, because Saphira brought up that deal by herself. She still needed a little while to ponder in order to be really sure. The only reason why she hid her true being is because she is afraid that other innocents will lose their life due to her father. But this guy looks like he knows how to take care of himself. 'So maybe it was okay to tell him something?' ... It's not like Saphira has to tell him every single bit of her endless seeming past.
She sighed again as she turned her attention to the clouds again. "Yeah, you are right. I can fly... but I stopped doing so in order to stay hidden." She couldn't believe that she was talking about it for the first time after that she decided to flee. But her father hasn't found her for that long.. maybe hiding isn't even necessary on this continent?

It suddenly made sense now. She was hiding. Which meant she was probably being chased. The reason it took him so long to find Iku. She was hiding from the one that caused her misery. Even though he had been taken care of. Saji would never forgive the man, even if he was dead. He could rot in hell for all Saji cared.
"Is someone chasing you?" He continued to ask. The silence was starting to get to him. It was never normal for one to hear his own breath, especially when he is around the female. It was either moaning or screaming, or the girl talking his ear off. But never in his life has it ever been him to hold up the conversation. And frankly he's rather keep it that way.

Saphira nodded slightly at his question. "Yeah, I guess you could say it like that." She was still looking at the clouds, feeling uneasy about facing him. It was weird to talk about something you have kept for yourself for such a long time.
Next to the uncomfortable feeling she didn't know again how far she actually wants to go. The more she thought about it the more she realizes what she is really afraid of. She is fine with talking about it, but she was worried if she brought Saji into any danger with revealing her past to him.
She sighed again before she continued. "My father is after me."

Saji then looked at Saphira raisning an eyebrow. He wish he knew his father, yet she is running from hers. Well, that isn't fatherly like. Saji looked off into the distant. He really did wish he knew more about his father. But he didn't even know his name. Anytime He would bring him up, His mother would always start going into detail on how much 'fun' they had. Saji did not want to know how good his father was in bed.
Such the life of a disfunctional family. "He's out to kill you?" He asked making sure he had the right impression. What kind of father would be out to get his own daughter. He was a lame excuse, of a father. He head went back and forth between his fathers and hers.

Saphira turned around to the nearest branch and looked at it like it would be the most interesting thing she has ever seen, after Saji asked about her fathers intentions. In fact it was really quite interesting. Nature never fails to amaze Saphira when she looked at the roots in all kinds of green color that wrapped around the branch, showing a little blossom in a high lighted color every once in a while. It sure was a lively forest.
But no matter how lively and interesting it was, she couldn't avoid the conversation she decided to start. "Yes, indeed." she answered plainly. But right after she said it, she knew that people have been right with their sayings. Opening up helps, there is no use to keep it to yourself.
"He never was a kind-hearted guy, you can tell from his actions." She explained, trying not to leak out any information about what they were. "I was following him, until..." She continued, her voice wasn't even shaking this time. She felt right about talking about it. "...until I couldn't take it anymore and refused his orders."

Saji could tell already that he wasn't going to like this guy. How can you want to kill you're own blood. He never had much of a family. But it was one thing he wished he had. He wished he had a family to rely on. He wished he knew his father he wished his mother wasn't dead. Yet this man threw it away simply because of disobeying? Family shouldn't treated like that. Saji then stood up in front of Saphira. "Well, Then Saphira, Allow me to do you the honor of protecting you" He said. Saji wasn't sure if she had any strength. Was she a demon? He felt something strong coming from her. But what it was he had no idea.
He threw on that flirty smile of his, to try and lighten to mood. But she wasn't even facing him. So it may have just gone to waste. If she declined, then it was her business to do so.

Saphira heard his words and shook her head slowly. Last time somebody had said that to her, she was falling for that person. But that wasn't even what was bothering her. It was the thought about her brother. He was trying to protect her and lost his life. Probably the only person in her family that was somewhere feeling something like love towards her. Except for her mother though, since Saphira didn't even know about her mother.
This time she could prevent to fall into a breakdown though and got a hold of herself. She didn't want to feel that weakness again like earlier, that was totally not fitting her. "No, you will only get yourself in trouble." Saphira said towards the tree. She only know Saji for a short while, but you don't have to meet somebody that good to be sure that you don't want any other innocent people to die. "And thats the reason for running away. I don't want any other innocents to get hurt.." She gulped, knowing about the endless lifes she took. "Or killed"

Saji chuckled as she said he could be killed. Not that it was a funny subject. Just the thought of being told 'You could be killed' He has heard it so many times. So many he has lost count of how many times. And here he was still standing and strongly might I add. Saji was a fighter when it came down to it.
"Well, If I die, then I'll die nobly" Saji said with a smirk on his face. Saji has never been a scared person. If theres a challenge, Saji accepts it and usually does really well. Does above what he's expected to. Like for example. His sister, He will follow her until He dies. Even though she may not want it. He would, he's just that determined to do so!

Saphira gave Saji weird look when she noticed him chuckling. 'Whats so funny about it?' She thought to herself while eying him closely. But after his next sentence that he spoke with that smirk of his on his face, Saphira couldn't help to join in. "Oh come on, you won't end up anywhere nobly if you start to hang out with me." She returned the smirk to him, which made it hard to tell how serious she actually was.
For a second the wind blew strongly around them, messing up Saphiras hair. While she put it back in order again another thought stroke her mind and spoke up "Next to that.. don't forget about your sister." Now she was facing him again. "How do you want to find her if you die while failing to protect me, huh?"

Obviously the word 'positive thinking' dosnt cross her mind at all. She always thinks so negatively. "First of all, I've already found her, Just getting her to talk to me is my problem." He said smirking at her. And did she really thing that Saji would really die that quickly? Saji is alot stronger than most people recognize. Mainly because he doesn't want the attention of a hero. So he hides his strength so that no one can sense him. Sure, Saji dosn't know the strength of his opponent. But she obviously dosnt know his strength either. He could sense that there was a stronger being inside of her. But most likely like him, she's hiding her power too.
"And If I were to die, It would give my life meaning" He continued. If he died, he wouldn't have to hide anymore. If he died he wouldn't have to wonder how to get his sister to stop hating him. She thinks so low of him already, that if he were to risk his life for so that another could live, She'd probably doubt herself and realize it was a mistake. Iku was a type of person to have a very kind heart. He could still sense that in the way that she looks at him. He could still feel the warm gentleness from her. Even though she hides it with a cold exterior...

Saphira sighed. Why are all men the same? At least those who she runs into most of the time. How do they think that dying has any meaning to their life? In the next second she shook her head, not because of Sajis words, more because of her own thoughts that made her sound like a hypocrite. Concerning her life span, Saphira has also thought more than once about what kind of meaning her death could have. But to be honest she never actually excepted it. Death was only some sort of... escape, in her head.
"Death is not an option." she finally said and gave him a look. "Even if your death has some kind of meaning to it, whats after that? You can't change anything in the world if you are gone." And again she was tripping over her own words, making her a hypocrite. Her brothers death had a meaning, and it totally changed her life. Still, she was wishing for him to live. And Saphira KNEW that his sister would totally feel the same.
"So.. where is the problem? I bet its nothing that can't be solved." She said all of the sudden. And her voice was sounding strangely plain this time. She didn't want to say anything else that contradicts with her own experience, it must be that guys fault that she talks all that nonsense. Or probably it's her fault that she hasn't taken any deep conversations with anybody for a while.
