Saji looked at the woman. At first she didn't care about him what so ever, now she dosnt want him to sacrifice himself to make sure she was safe. If he was offering his services. Not really caring for his life. He really had no purpose in life. Of course he enjoyed life, and had no reason to want to die. He always knew if he were to die, he wanted to be great... just like his father was. His mother always told him about his father, how he went on enjoying life but when life took a turn and it came down to it, He sacrifced his life to to save the lives of millions of others. Though he never met his father, he looked up to him more than anyone. It was his secret hero, but of course what kid wouldn't want their father to be the hero?
"If it means for you to live, then that is my reason..." He didn't need any other reason than that. As long as she was safe, he could care less about his life. He lived at the bottom of the food chain, so his existance was no more than a rat living in a gutter to most. So he lived his life freely, they way he wanted. His sister had obviously had no need for his protecting, She had Tyr to protect her. And for the past 2 years, he's done a good job at it. She didn't know he was watching her, and he'd rather her stay that way.
"Heh" He chuckled a bit, "She's a feminist, and because i walked in on her having a 'intimate' moment, she dosnt believe that she could ever be related to me" He was being over protective, that night, He thought that it was another guy just using her for her body like the last guy she trusted. But Tyr, the one she is with now... has been faithful and loyal as a dog. Infact she seems happy the way her life is now. She smiles for the first in a while, and that was enough for him to leave her be.

Saphira shook her head and let out a sigh, obviously annoyed."Come on, you just have met me." She waved him off. "How do you want to know that I am even worth saving?" Her reply was meant to be serious. But she couldn't prevent a smirk when she listed up all of his possible answers that she could think of. Most likely something about her looks or whatever. 'Do I look that fragile?'
"Oh" She let out plane after hearing his story, hoping that she could turn the conversation more into his sisters direction again, instead of talking about some dramatic sacrifice for her sake. "I get it why shes mad at you.. but what about that second part? She doesn't even recognize you?" From what she has heard Saphira wasn't expecting that his sister couldn't even remember her brother. That fact seriously changed the circumstances...
"Isn't that another reason why you should go to her? you are siblings after all... thats nothing you can just throw away. So she should be aware of it." Saphira didn't know why, most likely because of her own experiences, but she really wanted to bring the two of them together again. To live a life what she had failed to live.

Saji had to agreed, he didn't want to throw away something like that. Hence the reason he watched her in scilence, from afar. She was obviously trying to find a reason for him to not die so he went with it. He knew himself only a miracle would get the relationship he wanted with his sister. "Ah, When she was born, My mother had to give her away, She had a hard time taking care of me so she placed her with her father. So she never really knew about Mom and I" She grew up in a palace, of course she wasn't going to be taught about her real mother. He knew what they did. They brought her up the way a princess would normally be brought up. Never speaking of the common lands ever. It was ....Typical...
"I have approched her, she thinks I'm a peeping tom and a liar...." He said. He really had his doubts about ever getting anywhere with his sister.

Saphira lowered her head while she was listing to Sajis story. "I see.." Then she walked over one of the trees huge branches that allowed her to sit on it. Even though she was sitting on the opposite side of Saji she didn't face him. Her eyes were darting on the ground, gazing into nothing.
The situation was way more difficult than she thought. And know knowing about their mother made her think about it from a different perspective. How would Saphira feel herself if she met some woman who claimed to be her mom? How could Saphira ever believe her that she is really telling the truth? So it was understandable how his sister must feel.
"Well.. I can see her point if her childhood wasn't related to yours in any way. But she is just not right about that..." She looked up to him again. "So why-" Just when she opened her mouth, Saphira closed it again. 'He doesn't want to, so stop bothering him!' She blamed herself in her head. Saphira had no right to talk that guy into something he didn't want. Also he looked like he can take care of himself quite fine. "Nevermind."

For once it sounded like she had a solution. To help him with his sister. When she decideds to back out and act like she didn't say a word. Saji then walked over towards her. Hovering his head over her shoulder. Placing his mouth next to her ear. She had a peculiar scent now that he was up close and personal. It wasn't of an average human being. What was she? Saphira now had Saji's interest. "No, I wanna hear" He whispered in her ear.

Saphira stood there, motionless. Why was he that close again? Probably her little sentimental moment earlier made Saji even thinking about doing that. Uneasy was maybe too harsh to describe how she felt but she didn't like him being that close either. He was unvading her space.
Next to that his voice had a certain glint of hope in it. So ost likely he won't like what she was about to say. But she did as she was told and continued her words from earlier. "..Why do you give up on her that easily?" She took a step backwards so that she was able to look in his eyes. "You don't look like somebody who is giving up that easily."

She had a point. Saji wasn't the one to give up. Yet at this point in time. He felt stuck. He didn't know what to do, He felt so lost, his thoughts wern't working properly. Saji turned around facing the trunk of the tree. Placing his palm against the trunk, supporting himself. "You're right, I hate giving up, I've just tried everything I could think of" He has tried, But nothing seemed to work. She asked for space, he gave it to her. And no matter how hard he tried nothing worked.
"Theres only one thing, I havn't tried, But it's so .... Cheesy that I dont think it would work" He said...

Saphira tilted her head when Saji spoke to her with his body turned around. His voice had the faint sound of despair again. But she didn't know what to say anymore. Maybe it was one of these situations where she should just comfort him with a pat on his shoulder? After all he did the same earlier with a hug. But then he came up with his idea.
"Hm?" She couldn't imagine what he meant. "Umm.. what is that 'one thing' you are talking about? Care to tell me?"

Saji then looked at his friend. How to explain his idea, It would definetly require the help of someone eles... A female. And as if the lightbulb went off in his head. "Maybe if I had someone to protect, Someone who would ..." He rolled his eyes, playing off as if it were impossible to find. Placing his hand on his face. Saji turned away punching the trunk of the tree.
"Who am I kidding... It would never work..." He muttered softly but just enough for her to hear. Saji's idea? a girl that would run towards Iku, blabing about how great of a person Saji really was. But how to make Saphira that girl? How does he put this idea into place. He pondered for a moment while still playing the frustrated brother role. Which wasn't hard because he really was frustrated as all hell. Trying to gain Iku's trust was a task almost impossible.

Saphira tried to put the pieces together in her head. "Someone to protect?" But what is he talking about? He already had his sister to take an eye on, so why would he need somebody else?
Usually she was an ace at reading people, but this time it was different. This time there was something else, something she hardly ever experienced before. This time she was actually caring about the problem of her opposite. Maybe thats why she was so dense.
Sajis next sentence causes Saphira to feel something else than empathy. "You-!" Why do all guys seem to be the same at some point?...Most of them at least. Giving up thereselves. "Whats wrong with you?! There are only two choices. Either you care about your sister or not!" She turned around, not facing his back anymore. "I don't even know why I have to be the one telling you this... So either, you go to her now or I gonna have to drag you myself, you got that.?"

Saji's eyes widened. His thoughts only consited of one word. 'woah' His mind was blank for a moment. He didn't expect her to react 'that'. he knew she seemed a bit frustrated with him. He felt he hit a home base. Maybe at one point she could relate to his sister? Maybe she had a brother similar to him? Saji then smiled, Of course that smile when unnoticed because she had turned around. "You're right." He spoke softly.
He then stepped behind her. Making her face him. Saji looked into those deep purple eyes. With a smile on his face. "Come with me" He whispered in her ears softly.

"Of course I am right." Saphira sort of mumbled to herself. It may not look like it, but she was glad that he finally changed his mind. She felt the touch of his hands turning her around. Wearing some sort of surprised face expression she returned his stare.
"You know..." She stated a bit perplexed. "It was more of a metaphor than an actual.." It had no use. It looks like Saphira has just made herself to Sajis new companion. Giving it a second thought, it didn't sound that bad at all. After all Saphira was curious about that stubborn sister of him.
"Umm.. fine then." She agreed. "Didn't you say she lives close by?.. So what do you think, how long does it take? And.... how do we get there?" She added the last question with a slight hesitation.

Saji smirked at her. He was glad that she said yes. Not only will she see for herself that Iku was not really wanting to forgive him. But he could win her over some. Saji backed away a few inches pointing to the tallest mountain. Mt. Rei. Home of the dragon riders. "You see that mountain, thats where she lives" He said. And her next question only made him laugh.
"Flying of course" He smirked as he pulled her close. He wasn't about to climb that mountain, That mountain was steep at times. And with the right stuff, it still would take days. Though spending days with Saphira sounded like a fun idea. It sounded exhausting, By the time they got to the top, He would be too exhausted to even put up an argument with Iku. Then the whole idea of bringing Saphira would be just a waste of time.
"Hang on tight" He whispered. As his wings started to form behind his back.

Her gaze wandered to the horizon where Mt. Rei grew into the sky. "A mountain-?" she turned silent in an instant though. Her curiousity overwhelmed by the feeling that you get when you step into a trap, knowing that it was you who is at fault.
Saphira shouldn't have asked. She knew what was going on from the second when that self-satisfied smirk formed on Sajis face. Only giving him a slight glare she gave in though and wrapped her arms around his neck. And she had a feeling this won't be the last moment where she is going to keep missing her own wings.
"You better don't drop me." She said with a smile. To be honest Saphira couldn't await to already reach the mountain. After all that talking about his sister, saphira finally wants to see on her own what she is like. And even more than that.... she couldn't wait to fly again.

Saji smirked at her. Starring deep into those purple eyes. "I'd be crazy to let you go" He whispered into her ear. His wings were spread out, and Saji decided to pick her up bridal style.
"No turning back now" He joked. And he was off. Soaring into the sky as they made their way towards Mt. Rei to meet the sibling. Saji didn't know what he was really doing. Bringing a girl he was flirting with to his sister. But all he knew was it couldn't hurt. He'd be killing two birds with one stone this way. Well.. If everything goes right that is. Saji could only hope....
