Saji then looked back at her. "I take them on a flight if they wanted to go flying. But you obviously don't really want to as much as I though you did so..." He said. He was not looking out into the distant. This girl was surely different though, She says she wants to fly and then she declines? He didn't understand. Usually Saji went with the flow and didn't worry about it. but this girl... She was different. She was... Strange.
"Uh... I saw you coming out of no where and climbing the tree" He said. The way she was running she looked like she was just going to jump right off and fly.... or die more likely. It is pretty high up in the tree, She must have not been so close to the edge unless she felt confident that she wasn't going to fall. She didn't look like a nature girl, Infact, It looked way too fancy to be a nature girl. This girl wasn't making any sence at all. Just when he thought he figured out women, they confuse him again.

As Saphira listened to his words she could almost feel that he was wondering why she started this conversation and then declined his offer. 'But how should I have known that hes some kind of bat demon?' Saphira blamed herself in her mind. She wasn`t happy with the situation at all. This guy was obviously not an enemy, even though his permanent grin was somewhat scary. For an ordinary woman at least. Saphira still didn`t feel troubled at all since she was confident in her skills to defend herself.
There was only one thing to do now, she had to find a smooth way out of that awkward situation.
But after hearing Sajis answer it was not hard for her to count one and one together. 'Saji is a demon, I assume... and if he saw me running like that then he definitely knows that I'm no ordinary human...'
Saphira let out a sign, she knew that lying wouldn`t solve anything up from here now. So she had the choices either to run away or give him the answer he longed to get. Strangely enough, Saphira decided for the second one, looked in Sajis eyes and said with a clear voice. "I don`t want to take a flight because I don`t want to be reminded of things that I am not able to do anymore."

Saji looked at Saphira, with confused eyes. He knew something was up when she contradicted herself. So what gives? He stood there patiently."So tell me then.... Why cant you fly anymore?" His curiosity was only growing. What was she so afraid of that she had to keep it a secret.
Saji walked up close to her. He wanted to comfort the woman. So he pulled her in close. "You only live life once, are you really going to live it in fear?" He whispered in her ear.

Saphira gave Saji a weird look, even though he couldn't see it because he was too close to her, again. But he could assume that Saphira wasn't okay with it by the sound of her voice as she replied. "Who said I am living in fear?" While pushing him away, rather gently though, to be able to look into his eyes again. Even though he still had that creepy look in his eyes, she preferred to look into them instead of having him up that close.
Then she replied to his question, but definitely in a way that he won't like. "Why do you think that I would tell it to you right away?" In fact, there was no way that Saphira would give out her secret and her past to a random guy that accidently met her, because he was lucky to sit somewhere close.
And that lead her to another question. "How about you making the start and tell me from what you are running away from? Sitting in the trees because they comfort you, hm? Comforting you from what?" Saphiras voice sounded very strong while confronting Saji with her questions, still she was remaining calm.

Saji just looked at her almost blankly. He was trying to comfort her and this is what he gets? He opened his mouth only to be cut off by another question. She wasn't going to say a word until Saji told her about him. Well, This was a strange turn of event.s Not a single girl asked him about if he's running. They usually asked to get into his pants.
"I'm not running from anything, I'm following my sister." He said. The only girl that would mean anything to him really. His sister. "We were separated not to long after she was born, My mother could hardly take care of me let alone me and my sister" Saji said.
He was only trying to make up for lost time, and be with his sister. Though at this point. It seemed impossible.

Saphira was going maybe a bit to aggressive with her questions when she was just trying to stand her ground. She wasn't even aware of how her body tensed up. Only as Saji was answering her question right away, without any hesitation, Saphiras body slowly began to relax and her face was getting a softer expression.
She was surprised how this guy could be so open towards a foreigner. It made her think again how hard it is, that she could not even share her problems with others. At the same time she also couldn't deny that this story was quite heart warming, just because it made her think of her own brother. 'How long has it been now.. a year?' She was thinking in reminiscences and tried hard to prevent the tears welling up in her eyes.
But she shook off the feelings within a second and pushed the thoughts away. She usually doesn't run into a sudden emotionally breakdown, it was pretty rare actually. Then she focused on the talk again. "I see, I am sorry to hear that." She answered concerned and thought that it really must get to him, when he was preferring to streak through the woods on his own. "Do you actually have an idea where she is a the moment?" She then asked, wanting to know if he would find her soon.

"Yes, She's in Ianne" He simply said. Of course he wasn't going to mention walking in on her and her "husband". Besides that was a mess anyways. Saji looked at Saphira. She still didn't look like she was going to trust him. Saji then leaned back onto the tree. Looking out accros the sea of trees.
It really was a nice day out today. Maybe He should bring Iku to this spot. She would really like it... If she was talking to him.

Saphira had a hard time with reading Sajis face expression. He just sat there, leaned against a tree, staring out at the sky. "Uhm.. you mean, she's here?" Saphira asked carefully.
To tell the truth, Saji did a good job on making her curious now. He could not have told any other story that would have had the same effect on Saphira. She slowly approached him and wondered if she should go a little further. Without hesitating for long she just asked right away. "So where is the problem? Why... don't you go to her right now?"

Saji looked at Saphira still holding a smile on his face. "Well, You see, The last time I saw her she was in the middle of something." More like someone "And uh well, Things didn't end well" He wasn't going into full details as to what happened. He really shouldn't be saying something in the first place. But a deal was a deal. And He seem to have caught her attention.
Did he hit a soar spot? Or something she could relate to? Or maybe she was just trying to get away from telling him about her past. Saji looked back at Saphira. "We kinda are not talking at the moment" He said.

Saphira was giving him a kind look. 'He sure is strong, if he cares that deeply for her, even if they don't get along..' She thought while witnessing the smile on his face. Her eyes traveled over to the clouds. She was never getting along with her brother. She hated his guts and the way how he was never asking any questions. He was just a brainless marionette until..
Her throat was throbbing, because she tried so hard to hide the sadness that was raising up. She coughed to hide it and also turned away for a second to clear her throat and head all a once. She was trying not to think about it too much, but why did this guy had to show up now? Saphira wasn't angry at Saji, it was just the coincidence of meeting him that was confusing her.
"But you want to change it, right?" She quickly asked as soon as her voice was working again, even though she still wasn't facing him.

"Of course" He said looking at Saphira. Why wouldn't he want to make it better. He's been searching for her how long? he wasn't about to give up now. Just because they had an argument. That would have been a complete waste of time. What they were going through, was only a bump in the road.
"Uh, Are you ok?" He asked her. Maybe he did hit a soar spot. She wasn't even looking at him like she was before. Saji couldn't tell if she was crying or just not wanting to look at her. He took a step towards her placing a hand on her back. It was a form of comfort in his eyes. All he knew was something wasn't ok.

As Saphira heard Sajis reply she realized that her question was kind of stupid. Obviously he wants to change it. But she just couldn't think of anything else in her confusion. And then she felt his hand on her back all of the sudden.
This time, she wasn't moving though. Saphira just stood there and gulped once more to get rid of that feeling in her throat. "Yeah, I am okay, it's nothing." She lied at him. But what else is she supposed to do? She can't tell him about her brother, the brother that died last year, can she?

Saji wasn't convinced. She was obviously trying to hide something. from him. Saji's hand then went up and down from her back. Saji then turned her to face him he had a smile on his face. "Hey, Whats a beutiful woman like you doing with a frown on her face. Cheer up, Its a beutiful day out today" He said still smiling. Saji pulled her in wrapping her arms around her. Rubbing her back still to comfort her.

Saphira wasn't moving even then when Saji started to stroke her back. She was actually not knowing what she should do, it was almost like she is paralysed. Then she saw his smile and and before she could do anything else, she found herself in his embrace.
She wasn't resisting at all. 'What to do?..' She thought to herself. Should she push him away and yell at him? Or use this opportunity to let it all out that bothered her? He sure was lucky to meet her in a situation like this.
In the end Saphira decided to do nothing at all and just to stay there for a while, her head resting on his chest. "It is a beautiful day." She let out after a while.

Saji looked down at Saphira who had seemed to be taking comfort in his chest. It was funny how women who are defensive at first tend to be the one that needed affection or some form of comfort. Saji typically didn't do this because of one reason. When the woman see's them the next day they automatically think that they are together. Thus become Stalkers eventually. Meaning Saji would have to move. Plus, it wasn't as if he cared about her. I mean, C'mon they just met. And if he cared about every girl he met. There would be a serious problem. But for some reason Saji did with this girl, Maybe it was the obvious need for comfort, that he couldn't ignore.
Saji continued to rub her back. He didn't understand why she suddenly did become defensive in the first place. After all, he was the one sharing her stroy. Not her. Thats when the idea of hitting a soar spot came back to his mind. "My point exactly, So smile"He smirked at her. "You look beautiful when you smile"
