Leo can't help but to surprisingly burst out into a light fit of chuckles. It's been a long time since he's able to even laugh, so this spontaneous outbreak shocked him as well. But Leo decided to stop contemplating about this, which is highly unlikely for a thinker such as him, but the again...why should he bother to question the very thing he can rarely feels?
"Hahahahah! Oh, Rayl..." His laughter ceased, and then Leo brings up a hand and pats on the girl's black hair twice, before sliding his hand down with a smile. "It's you, Rayl." He answers so easily and comfortably, but now began collecting some of the gears that littered within his reach, crawling around Rayl to pick up his materials.
"Don't blink like that. It's too cute of a gesture to fit for an assassin."

Rayl couldn't help but blushed at what he have mentioned. He have mentioned awhile ago that she, an assassin, is an important thing he have found rather those ores he mentioned as well.
She looked at him as he started to pick up the gears, she blushed yet again at his statement. She was easily confused at emotions, and she couldn't help but blinked confusedly at him. She stood up as she helped him pick up the small metal gears.
"Do you still want to find some ores?" she asked him, feeling a bit guilty that they haven't found many of it.

Leo also tries to stood up on his newly healed foot to collect the metal gears littering around the area, but he left those who got stuck close to the corpse or inside a pool of blood untouched. Not out of disgust though, but rather because he's too lazy to clean it all up.
"No, that's alright. It's almost sunset already," he noted with a nod as he side-glanced the horizon, the sky turning slight orange by the setting sun. With that, the lad made a mental note to himself that next time he plans to hunt some ores, he would set out in the morning, so it will preferably finish by evening.
Sliding his feet near his dirtied bag, Leo frowned at the hole from Enna's arrow shot. This annoys him, but he'll sew it up once he gets inside an inn or something. For the time being, the artist just cover the holes with a bigger gear or tool so the smaller ones won't litter out.
"What do you normally eat for dinner?" came the random question of the evening from him.

Rayl blankly looked at him, she sighed and look at the gear in front of her. "I am quiet contented with just bread..." she answered quietly as she holds the gear and giving it at Leo.
She tilted her head a bit as she looked at the horizon, the sunset. She always gaze at the sunset, it was one of her hobbies. Whenever she wandered and would take a rest, she always timed it up whenever the sun is setting. She heaved a long sigh.

Leo accepts that cogwheel she handed to him with a nod, then placing it inside his bag. "Bread. Fits a traveler, I suppose. Easy to find, easy to eat." He shrugged, looking around for any clean gear wheels he could find in his range of view.
He took notice of the sigh Rayl heaved off, and stood straight, shifting his weight on one of his legs. "You're tired," he concluded, following her gaze towards the setting sun. "I was planning to treat you for something other than bread, but I suppose you're exhausted now. So maybe another time?"

Rayl looked at Leo a bit hazily, she heaved a long sigh. She looked around the place, the blood and the dead bodies were really a not so great view while watching the sunset.
She looked at Leo whom wanted to treat her food to eat, she shrugged her shoulders and nodded her head. "No, its okay... thank you-" she let out, not used at the 'thank you'.
"You should leave now, I'll handle this dead bodies..." she added as she pointed almost aimlessly the dead bodies in the place.

Leo brings up his hand to cover his nose, the smell of the corpses is starting to get to him. It's almost dark already, so Leo nodded his head. "Well, alright... If you say so." He feels a tad bit guilty for leaving a lady alone in the night like this, but he has to frequently remind himself that she's not just a lady, she's an assassin.
Leo made his way pass the corpses, avoiding to step on any pools of blood there, and finally made his way to the edge of the mine as he started to climb out the mining area. Once he got out, he looked down below to the mass of dead bloody people, then to Rayl.
"Are...Are you sure...? I don't feel too good to leave you like this."

Rayl looked down at the bloody corpse, she was not guilty doing it. She enjoyed fighting them, she enjoyed killing this mine pirates as what she prefer to call them. They were just nothing compared to her, she was an assassin, an assassin with a breed ordinary man don't have.
"Are...Are you sure...? I don't feel too good to leave you like this."
She heard Leo spoke, she looked at him; she shook her head, a tiny smirked plastered on her lips. "I am fine..." she firmly said as she smirks at him. "I am an assassin." she started out. Suddenly, the blood that the corpses were covered began to float away from the dead bodies. "And not a weakling..." she added, the gleam on her eyes suddenly turned into a blank stare. "Leave now... Leo" she let out. She enjoyed the blood, but for the sake of humanity that still resides in her body; she wanted Leo to leave, for him not to see what she will do at the blood and the corpses.
Because she enjoyed torturing the dead, that's one of Rayl's secrets. She was an assassin, who tortures the victims.

Leo backs away a bit by the sight of the blood suddenly hovering in the air. He's not sure if it was out of fear or not, but he's certain that no matter how curious he is to see what she does...he respects Rayl and her wishes.
"...Alright. Stay true to yourself, Rayl."
And with that last advice, the lad dragged his feet away from the mining area, bringing his eyes up towards the darkened sky to wonder what kind of person did he just befriended with. Well, whoever she really is, Leo didn't mind at all, as long as she's being herself...no matter how horrid her secrets are.
"I'll see you later," he whispered, doubting she could hear him as it was more to himself. Though, he really hopes that they bump on each others paths again someday.

Rayl have heard it, yes, she wanted to reply 'See you later too'. And yet, she doesn't want to put high on her hopes. It was after all a coincidence they have met. Yet, she wishes they could met in a different place, a country perhaps with a good scenery, with a nice place to chat.
She smirks once again. "See you later as well. Leo." she let out as the blood floats above seemingly covering the dead bodies below. She let the blood hovered all the bodies. River of the Dead to what is it like, and yet; what surprises if anyone could see, is that the blood and the bodies sank down at the sandy place. "The blood and the bodies, shall be a corpse that no one could possibly be notice and identify who these are..." a glint in her eyes were shown, they were nothing but lust.
She groaned as she closes her eyes, a little while she felt that the bodies were gone; she opened her eyes. Her eyes suddenly is back from those blank yet shiny aqua blue eyes. She moved herself up, it is already night time. So quiet, so peaceful. No body would thought that this place is just like a place full of blood awhile ago.
