Enna smirks as she saw the girl whom she have just stated as the 'damsel in distress', is a fighter. And a best one, as of that. "Join us." she suddenly stated as she noticed how her eyes softens at the guy whom still is unconcsious. "Your skills ain't that bad, you can train and get stronger with us... and I'll let that good for nothing, weak guy." she added boastfully as she looked at Leo.
"I thought that that guy is your knight. But I guess I was wrong... you're tough." she said out as she raises her bow a bit.

Rayl glared at her hardly, she couldn't help but growled warningly at Enna. How dare she have ordered her to join in their little play of bandits, while she has the skills to fight alone with no one to team with.
Especially, when Enna have underestimated Leo more; this is unforgiveable for Rayl. She doesn't want anyone mistreating those who are close with her. "I don't get acquainted... with little bandits like all of you..." she uttered out as she took a step forward, toward Enna. "Especially for the likes of you..." she added as she stood a meter away from Enna. She glanced at the bow, it was a quiet big; though heavy and seems to make Enna not making some shot correctly.
She suddenly stopped and just gaze blankly at Enna, her blood suddenly grown more excited at killing someone. "It's time to die..." she suddenly speak out softly as she run towards Enna, her Ice Sai suddenly forming in her right hand.
She quickly let her left hand hugged Enna slowly, her black mane were freely flowing through the soft yet warm wind of the place. Enna seemed to be surprised at the sudden statement and attack of Rayl. Rayl's head leaned at Enna's shoulder as her right hand, which holds the Sai quickly stabs it at Enna's stomach.
"I hate bandits..." her paleish blue eyes blankly looked forward as she gaze some of the men who looked at her surprised. Some cowered in fear at the sudden attack at their boss.

Enna only managed to hopped back a bit at the sudden assault, but due to her heavy bow, it's not enough for her to shift to safety. Her pupils shrunk at the attack, she could feel immense pain suddenly merging from her stomach, but she wouldn't dare to look down to see what Rayl had done.
"You...." Enna growled, a bit of blood spurting out her mouth as she spoke. Though in extreme pain, the head bandit has enough strength to grab a hold of Rayl's shoulder with her free hand to push herself off of this freak, and she did just that, removing herself from the girl's blade and stared in horror of how much blood there is on the ground where she stood.
The woman looked like she was about to fall off on her knees, since she seemed to be staggering to even stand up, but Enna has gone through a lot of stabbings, slicings, limb-breakings and knock-outs in her days as a bandit, how else is she able to lead a pack of bandits filled with boisterous men?
She was just about to yell an order to Orwin and the other boys, when suddenly, something hard and painful hit her square in the face, literally. She doesn't even realize what that thing is since the mighty Enna then loose her balance on her feet, falling off on her back, half-conscious of what just happened.
That fall of hers pained her gut more as she moaned and yelled, more blood gushing out of her bare stomach.

On the far back, where he once laid motionless, is none other than Leo. That look he's wearing on his face shows more annoyance than what he lets out before Enna attacked him. And his posture at the moment indicating he just threw something, and that something happened to be a large head-sized gear from his bag. It was a rather good throw, since it hit the ruffian square on her head, more than he could hope for.
Leo didn't stayed long on his feet as he stumbled down after that, but softening his fall by landing his palms first on the ground before his pained knee does. His leg, specifically right behind his shin, is bleeding badly, due to the arrow he just pulled out of of his tibia.
The artist didn't stopped there though, he simply turned to the other 10 or so men left, cocking his head at Rayl, signaling to them if they want to piss her off more and die like the rest.

Orwin gritted his teeth, unable to decide to just ditch these two kids or help his pained boss. It was quick of him to order the other men to flee out of this place and save the others if they're still breathing, while he bravely ran towards Enna, easily pulling his boss up in his arms because of her lean stature.
"Don't you think you've won the battle.. We'll be hunting you!! BOTH OF YOU!!" he yelled the moment he ran off, warning the two. Though, he silently hopes that the freak won't stab him from the back as he dashes faster, and escaped the mining area, disappearing within the trees a few ways away.

Leo blew hard, both to keep his hair away from his eyes, and to exhale out of irritation. He was out here in the first place just to search for simple ores for God's sake, how innocent can that be to get thieves eying his every step after this. Though, he didn't worry too much, since he's been in hiding for the past 3 years from his clients, so he hopes that's enough practice to hide him from bandits...
"God, this is unbelievable," the lad brings up his left hand to rub a side of his temple, more annoyed of the fact that he's in somebody's blacklist than fear of the countless dead bodies around him. He freaked out at first, waking up with bloodied up men all over the place, but then he had to remind himself - his new friend is a freakin' assassin.
And so, he set it in his mind, that he has got to get used of the sight.
"Rayl!" Leo suddenly called out, turning his head to Rayl's direction, hoping she would come to him, since he planned on saying something to her.

Rayl glared at the bandits as they left the whole place. Leaving with a trail of blood of Enna, she wanted to follow them and kill them all. "Kill them..." her thoughts never leaving how will she be able to kill those bandits. Yet a voice have entered her thoughts, she gasped and looked where Leo was. And he was concsious, her black pale-ish blue eyes have shined and come back to its own color.
She looked down at her hand to see the blood that trailed down, her eyes widen. Yet as she looked at Leo, his eyes expresses something. Like he wanted to say something. She started to walked closer to him. "Y-yes?" she uttered quietly as she glanced at his injury.

Leo waited as Rayl walked up towards him, and looks up at the maiden with distracted eyes, but he's smiling, at the very least. "Don't...feel that way," he simply said, not giving much clarity on what he means, as he already dropped his head down from looking at Rayl.
But not out of spite or disgust...
Actually, he raised his hand up, almost like...waiting for her to help him up on his feet. "This...scares me," he admits slowly, staring at his bloody leg for a while, then lifts his head to face her while trying to stretch the biggest smile he could manage with his weak facial tissues. "But. Thanks. For standing up to me."

Rayl looked at him, surprised. She looked down at his bloody leg and kneel in front of him, where she faces his bloody leg. "Don't move..." she uttered out and looked at him. She moved her right hand near his leg, a light builsh-green orb appears in her palm.
"A-anou..." she started as she mend the injury of Leo, with the use of her water element. "Aren't you afraid of me now?" she suddenly asked as the water that she've used awhile ago sip through in her palm as the water cleans the blood in his leg.

Leo was startled a bit as Rayl begins to do something with his leg. He didn't know what, but glowing almost always means it's a good thing. He raised a brow at her strange question, and shook his head as a reply, "You're curing my leg right now, and you think I'm afraid of you...?"
He pointed out the plain obvious with that dull monotonous tone of his.
"Listen to me, Rayl,' the artist leans his upper body down a bit to look straight at her eyes. "You don't have to be so afraid of rejection, okay? If they can't accept you as you are, then they're not good enough for you, so don't hate yourself and your capabilities. Keep that in mind." Leo nodded at her after he finishes, sitting back up straight again as he brings up a hand to scratch his black hair.
"And as for your question... In all honesty, Its terrifying to see this much corpses decorating the whole mining area, so yes, I'm a tad bit scared of you," he managed to say that clearly while shrugging his shoulders, taking his own comment lightly and free of worry.
"But hey," dropping the hand he used to scrape his head, the artist looks at Rayl with such a hopeful glint in his eyes, it's almost impossible for anyone to turn away from that aspirant look without at least a bit wondering what is up with a man that has such a huge pair of sky blue eyes. "When you're friends with me, then you have a friend for life."
Despite his 'bored-of-my-life' catchphrase, Leo is surprisingly incredibly good in that speech of his. God knows what else is hidden inside this seemingly plain and boring young man.
"Plus, you called me Leo. Twice."
Yes, he seemed to be conscious the whole time, he confirmed it himself.

Rayl blinked after hearing him say he heard her saying his name 'Leo' twice. So, he did hear her after all, yet in that moment; she felt embarassed. Not used of how people were so kind and open. Her gaze were intently looking at the injured knee Leo have. Sweat were starting to appear on Rayl's forehead as she sighed.
She never was used mending, but because it helps her somehow; she tried to self-study. "Hmm, maybe I could go and check some library..." she thought out, silently nodding to herself. The bleeding slowly stops, she sighed in a relief way.
"All done..." she uttered out, somehow pulling her hand away from the knee of Leo. The blood has been cleaned and closed by Rayl's element. "How was it?" she asked Leo as her eyes looked up with a bit hesitation.

Leo pulled up his leg, bent his knee upwards as he takes a closer look to his once-stricken leg. It took him a while to actually find the serious gash he though was there according to all the blood seeped on the ground, but he can't even detect any serious cuts around his leg, just a spot of red skin there and that's it.
"I...can't even believe I was bleeding just now," he stated, trying to express through his unfeeling face that he's quite surprised by what she had just done. No blood, no wounds...just a red piece of skin. "Rayl. I don't know where you come from, or where did you learn all these things. But this is a definite surprise for me."
He was a painter during his childhood, so he always imagine supernatural abilities and creatures exist in this lifetime. In fact, he suddenly remembered a water nymph he randomly painted on his house wall, and that nymph is strikingly similar to Rayl in action just now.
Leo reached for his gray scarf to pull it so it would slightly loosened from around his neck. The artist then took hold of the edge of the cloth, brings it near Rayl's head, then gently dabbed it around her sweating forehead, keeping a straight face as he did that.
"I'm sorry," he started after finished wiping her forehead, "...for troubling you. But...I'm deeply appreciated of everything that you have done. Thanks, Rayl."

Rayl felt embarassed more, though she was thankful that he seemed to care for her. With that simple action of wiping her sweat on her forehead. She blinked as she look at his blank stare.
"No trouble at all..." she uttered quietly looking away at his gaze. "Leo," she uttered out, now clearly telling him his name out loud and in front of him.
She then looked at Leo who seems to finished wiping her sweat. "Thanks," she uttered, mentioning the action he did awhile ago. She then looked at the gears and the metal that was owned by Leo. She took a couple of it that was near them and give it to Leo. "Are you going to make something with these metal?" she asked a bit confusedly, though interested.

Leo smiled at what she called him, figuring it must be difficult for someone who never felt to have a friend before in her life. Leo always thought of himself as the insignificant person simply just walking by on people's lives, as in stepping in for just a quick moment before leaving, never leaving any footprints on their hearts...but this time, he's quite thankful that he finally has the chance in doing so.
The artist was more surprised when Rayl not only returned one of his gears to him, but asked him on what he's doing with it. He almost chuckled at her answer, seeming not to believe somebody is actually interested in his boring old project.
"I'm just making some air-filterer for Evnae," he took the gear from Rayl before looking around for his bag. "I said to some random old man that I would, but in order to make it, I need some ores, so it won't rust that easily. Thus is why I'm here in the first place."
He managed to end his sentence with such a dry voice, that it didn't seemed like he's interested in the very thing he's planning to build. "But, somehow, I found something more important than ores here, so I'm very grateful of that." His eyes shifted directly towards Rayl as he said that, still smiling.

Rayl nodded afterward Leo tell her about the things he'll do. But she was a bit confused about what he said afterward. She blinked owlishly and innocently looked at him. "Found something important?" she repeated, as she tilted her head to the side. "More important than what you've exactly been searching for..." she uttered then looked down at her hands.
"What is it?" she uttered looking at him directly, she was really clueless and oblivious at things like this. She wasn't really is the one who knows quickly at all, she isn't the one who quickly notices something as well.
That is why, somehow it is one of her weaknesses. The feeling or the emotion of a human being.
