"So this is it.... St. Lux Eterna... It is larger than I thought..." Lilith thought.
After a long journey she taken, she finally reached to the destination that interest her to help her to find her goal. She is blind, but due to her magic, she can simply able to 'see' through anything from any angle which makes her more like a satellite watching from above in a quite range. Mostly she only controls her 'Magic Views' to only effects around 2m radius around her to conserve her energy. Using too much energy will be inconvenient and Lilith will only do that in tight situation. Without hesitation, she enters the inner part of the Cathedral and start to increase her 'Magic view' without attracting any attention to memorize the structure of the building. It is needed because of her blind state, so it will be helpful.
"It seems peaceful here unlike the area outside this place... The inside structure also huge and have a lot of space...." she thought while walking inside the cathedral.
She flinches a bit after spotting the existence of human which is the monks. She then close her eye and convince herself that they are not the human she hates. "They are the servants of the God... I shall considered them not like the typical human," she open her eye after convincing herself that she need to get used to having the facts that the monk is human.
Thinking that the monk will not disturb her if she do not do anything troublesome, she then find her sit inside the cathedral. She carries a small bag, but a special one. With her magic, her small bag can carries lots of stuff for her usage. It is like a wormhole in a bag. Took her 1 year to master it. She mostly stuffed books, and other useful things for her journey. She waves her fingers around her bag and a book came from that bag. Its the history of St. Lux Eterna book, a Braille type of book. Although she can just extract all the info with her power, but she mostly refrain on doing so since it consumes lot of energy. Besides, she wants to feel as any other readers out there, reading a book.
"The Great War... Casualties... Rebuilding... Heroes... Graveyard..." she mumbles quietly as she reads the book. In order to find a reason for the human to live. In order to find the reason why she shouldn't take their life. In order to find a reason... to forgive them. Lilith's Journey starts now...

Like the last time he was here, Zephel entered the cathedral not as the elementalist that he is, but as a chef. He had made it a practice to visit St. Lux Eterna regularly, but due to his understandably busy schedule with his job and his siblings to boot, Zephel had reduced his visit to the cathedral to once a month. The monks had even recognized him and allowed him to do his monthly deed here.
Said monthly deed is actually providing some pastries and sweets to the children on Veyyard. Veyyard is the most ruthless country that could have ever been discovered in the Domain's map with the highest crime rates of them all. True, a lot of criminals and scoundrels are everywhere in the shadows of this country, but that doesn't stop Zephel to try and reach out to the less fortunate here, meaning the children.
They are so poor and having so much difficulties in coping up with their lives in Veyyard, so every month on a fixed day, Zephel visited the cathedral, invites all of the children of Veyyard, and they all sat down to enjoy all the things he had baked and made himself as a senior chef in Rio Nunez Cafe.
"Evening," he greeted one of the monks at the entrance of the cathedral, entering the holy building with large steps and a steady gait. A huge basket is in his hands, filled with cakes, scones, strudels and other pastries, all hand-made by him.
As Zephel walked in further to place his basket of treats on one of the seats nearby, he noticed a lone little girl in white, sitting by herself with a book in her hand. It made him stopped his tracks when he noticed that she's not facing the book directly, but pressing her fingers against the pages. '...Oh no.' Zeph is quick to notice that this girl is not able to see the things around her, and since this is Veyyard, he thought she grows up here having her sight stolen by the evils of this country.
"..Excuse me," He approached the little girl slowly, trying to strain his voice to sound as gentle as he could, despite how hard that is for him to do. He paused for a bit, thinking what should he ask her. He wanted to ask of her parents, but fearing she had already lost them, Zephel rearranges his words. "You don't....happen to travel here all by yourself.. did you?"
He swore, if he has the power to lift off the pain felt by all these unfortunate children, he will.

After a while reading the book, Lilith suddenly gain a visit from a young man, Zephel. When Zaphel asked question, she didn't answer but instead she gave him a cold stare. She then suddenly close her book, put it aside then gets up and goes closer to Zaphel.
"Interesting..." she suddenly spoke showing a bit interest on her face. "Just after a while being here... a being that is not human is already can be found... A good place after all, " she spoke to herself.
She then look directly on Zaphel's eyes and finally reply. "Why are you interest about my travel Mister? I thought a being like you might don't have human personality..." she stated coldly.

He swore he tried his damnest to be gentle with his words, but in essence, Zephel is a cold awkward man. His frigid body stayed static all the while when the little girl seemed to stare at him, and his eyes flutter in surprise at the sudden sound of her closed book.
Her voice is so tiny, he could mentally guess her age to be around 10 or so. It wasn't just her voice that's tiny, she's so physically small also that she's literally half his size. Glancing down at this girl cloaked in white, Zephel took the smallest step back to scrutinize her appearance and her words.
"Just because I'm not human doesn't mean I'm inhumane. I have my own morals to follow, and coincidentally, they're similar to how humans refers to as 'politeness'," he answered, his voice back to its original cold monotonous tone he usually bears. Internally, he's surprised this child can detect that he's not human, which means she's possibly not normal.
"I'm not so interested in your travels as much as I worry for your well-being," he answered honestly, now more calm with his words instead of using those sharp tones at the end of his sentence. "It's not safe for a child to be traveling alone in Veyyard, human or not."

"Ho... Moral and politeness I see..." she look down as she was thinking of something. She have read many books but she still lack of experience in many things. She is young as she is.
She then look back up to Zephel and somehow able to directly looking at his eye as she is still having her vision. "You got a lot of food on your hand... is that what we call donor?" she then give a sharp grin as it is something funny to her.
"So you mean that you will give that food to those somewhat 'unfortunate' children. Six, no currently there are 8 of them here," she continues as she already knew the number of people that is in the building. Her power in controlling the light enable her to know everything that is in place around her as she please.
"Pathetic..." she give back her cold expression. "They are fortunate enough already," she pause as she clench her fist like she is angry about it.
She then look away and walk slowly towards her chair and sit down. "About your question, I guess you already know that I'm not just some kid..." she then suddenly take out her gun and shows it to Zephel.
"There are lots of wild beast out there on my way here, and since I don't like explaining things, you should get the picture what I meant..." she stated coldly. Before pointing her gun down and put it back in between her cloth.

Zephel would almost smirk. Hearing how this little girl is revealing her true colors to him made him glad somewhat, so he doesn't have to act gentle and nice just to keep on the good side of a child's sensitivity. This girl proves him with just her words that she got guts, and Zeph is immensely impressed with this about her.
"'Unfortunate' people are only truly unfortunate if and only if they believe themselves that they are 'unfortunate'," Zephel spoke, his blood red eyes looking down at this child, who is directly looking right at him somehow. He took the chance to study her eyes, and indeed, it's rather faint in color, a probable sign that she's blind.
"Do you believe that you are unfortunate?" He asked her, throwing a small verbal curveball in her way. It really doesn't matter to Zeph if anyone dub themselves as unfortunate or not, he will still trek his way to the cathedral and feed the children here once a month. He has his own reasons why he's doing this.
Zephel's half-lidded eyes studied the kid as she walks back to her seat to sit down and his eyes widens a bit when the girl revealed to him of a gun from under her robes. "I see," he answered shortly, understanding what she meant, though not fully accepting to let this girl wander around even with a weapon. He needs to see it with his own eyes if she's capable, so he made a mental note in his head to at least stick by and confirm his worries.
"Alright, so even if you hate to explain yourself, at least tell me your name," Zephel spoke up, his eyes noticing the children she had detected moments ago appearing in his view. Immediately, he signed one of the children there to bring the basket he had put on one of the seats to him. "I am Zephel, and I ask that you would keep yourself from causing any mishaps with your gun here, please."
A little boy approached him to bring him the basket like Zeph had instructed, and immediately the silver-haired pulls out a random pastry from the basket, which happens to be a buttered croissant. "Take this. This isn't a donor. It is not out of sympathy. Rather, I wish for you to eat it than allowing me to waste this into a trashcan."

After Zephel proposed her a bread, Lilith then paused a bit before proceed to talk. "At least say the name for things that you are trying to give me, you are old enough to know about my eye," she mutters as she close her eyes with a sigh.
Even with her power, she still can't see 'visually' but rather as three dimensional viewing perspective. So instead seeing a bread as a normal bread, she may see them as a poorly shaped prism, cylinder, etc. She then take something out from her bag. A small coin purse. She seemingly gently touch the purse to confirm that is the item she truly wanted to take out. Then she approaches to Zephel and raise her hand that hold the coin purse.
"My name is Lilith, I'm known as Arch Light in my place. I'll be taking that bread, not as a gift nor to reduce your wastage, but for a trade. Since having lot of fortune without food is an 'unfortunate' life enough," she paused.
"How much for a gold coin purse can be traded for breads?" her eye seemingly fixated on the basket. After her long journey, Lilith's food supply is getting low and she rarely eat to not emptying her food supply. She surprisingly have a lot of money to spare but she rarely visit any town as she hates human town.
"I hope that you can personally take the coin and hand me the bread or the basket perhaps, it will save much of my effort." she blink slowly as she herself doesn't feel pleasant to ask for such aid. She don't want to waste her energy from using her 'Field Vision' too often.
"And you are worried that I will cause a mishap?" she gave an awkward look. "As long as the human didn't bother me, their life is spared," she glare at Zephel as she was not satisfy by that question.

Zephel blinked his eyes and moved his upper body back in shock, but only slightly, when the girl reminded him that she's blind. His eyes cornered, the silver-haired cursed himself that he actually had forgotten that the child in front of him is blind.
Perhaps it is because she revealed herself to be very capable of taking care of herself, plus her guts, so that particular crucial fact that she can't see escape Zeph's memory.
"My deepest apologies.." he muttered under his breath, then continued with a clearer tone, "This is a croissant. Please take it."
Noticing the little girl pulling out what seemed to be a purse, Zeph heaved out a deep sigh. "..Lillith..was it?" He asked as confirmation before continuing what he wanted to say, "I don't wish to have any of your money."
Looking back at his big basket, filled with pastries and the likes to feed around 30 hungry children, Zephel cleared his throat. "Also, I'm afraid I am unable to give you the whole content of the basket. I'm sorry, but I promised these children to give them these treats."
He was incredibly direct in his speech and manner, and blunt too. That is how Zephel usually gets his points across, no matter how rude or unbecoming he's being. Though, he could tell Lilith is quite firm with her offer to trade her coins with his pastries, so the silver-haired offered another deal.
"Alright, how about this. I will give you the bread, heck you can take as much as you want as long as you share with the others here, if you tell me about yourself. I'd like to know a bit more about you, Lilith." It sounds like a fair trade to him; food for information. He's even willing to make more food for this child if it can satisfy his curiosity.
"I don't mean to pry, and I'm sorry if what I ask is a private matter, but...I'm intrigued about you, Lilith." His eyes are fixated towards her, studying her for any reactions no matter how small it is. "Considering I can sense you're a human, yet you loathe your own species.. Do we have a deal?"

After Zephel finished his sentence, a sudden burst of light blast the gold coin purse in Lilith's hand causing the purse to complete eradicated while leaving the gold coin intact which spread around floor. The gold coin release smoke as it was exposed to huge amount of heat. It is clearly seen that Lilith shakes with anger. The people around Lilith and Zephel were stunned and their attention now look on them.
"Don't you... ever... summarize me... by the likes of them..." she clench her teeth as she was very angry about that statement. Her blind eye somehow glowing with a fade light.
"So you want to know my intention? It is simple, to find motivations," she paused as she tries to calm herself. Her glowing eyes slowly fade out as she calms down.
"A good motivations, reasons for me to not simply take the life of human. Satisfy now?" she glare at Zephel after she finished her sentence.
She then walks closer to Zephel and grab the bread from Zephel's hand before turning her backs towards him and walks away.
"I'll just take this bread, I have no intention in sharing with them," she said that in sharp tone. She walks over her gold coin and ignores it. She definitely doesn't care much about it.

It is definitely outside of Zephel's anticipation when he witnessed an explosion of light from Lilith's hands. At first he thought it's just the sunlight from outside being reflected by the windows, but he actually felt threatened by this sudden shaft of light that his hand had automatically grabbed hold of his sword's hilt behind him.
When he realized what he's doing, Zephel slowly released his grip of his sword and studies the girl's whole body expression. Whatever he must have said had made her furious, and it's not so difficult to see what exactly did he said that had set her off.
'Find motivations..?' Her reason is rather...difficult to understand, especially since Lilith refuses to elaborate more of her reasoning. She actually uses the general way to answer his question, and in essence did not even answer his question at all.
Clearly dissappointed, Zephel sighed quietly, with having his bread snatched away and an angry little girl stomping away from him. 'Yep. This is why kids hates me.' Turning his attention around, he could see the children already arriving and sitting on the church benches there.
He then takes another bread from the basket, gives the basket to the little boy nearby and ordered the kid to share the treats with the rest of the children. After he had done so, Zephel crouched down and collected the money Lilith had dropped.
He didn't put the coins in his pocket, no. Zephel actually tears the bread he's holding in the middle, and actually inserted the coins inside the bread until all of them is safe inside a baked dough of flour. After he is done, the silver-haired pushed himself up to his feet and followed Lillith a good 10 feet behind her.
"I want to know," he called out to her, before taking 2 and a half long strides and is now merely 2 feet behind her, "what you see through your eyes." When Zephel is persistent, he can definitely be persistent. He clearly doesn't wish to leave this child alone after what she had uncovered to him during the short moment they've met.
"Maybe I can help with finding your motivation." He doubts it, but he is not planning to leave anytime soon.

After hearing Zephel's proposal, Lilith suddenly stop. She then turn around and face Zephel with a childish smile.
"Ooh, one second ago you're being rude and suddenly your being all nice guy," Lilith giggle as she hears Zephel's statement.
She did not expect him to be that nice for a being that is not human. She then walks closer to Zephel and bend her tiny body in front with while narrowing her eye. "What do I see in my eye? Actually I don't, I just see my surrounding with this," she then raise her right hand and sudden light surrounding on the upper palm focused into one point which then create a small ball of light.
"Manipulation of light, as people eye's can collect the light with their eyes, I can collect the light from any part of my body. Even so, I can't see what normal people can see. The color, tone, the featuring. Eye is one of the precious gift afterall." she then paused while fading the ball of light on her hand before continuing.
"You can get the rest of what I mean yourself, and before I accept your proposal, tell me a bit about yourself, and I'll decide weather you can help me or not," she then gave a someone emotionless smile.

Zephel had to pause a bit when Lilith mentioned of his change in behavior towards her; something he had not noticed himself if she haven't pointed it out. "I am?" He unconsciously questions her.
After realizing what had escaped his lips, Zeph shook his head and cleared his throat. "I suppose the way I act depends on your reactions. If you're rude to me, then I'm rude to you. If you're nice to me, then I have no problems in being nice to you."
'Good to know that you can grin like a normal kid, at least..' He mused in his mind about Lilith's little smile to him. The little girl then turns back and approached him yet again, and this time Zephel paid close attention to how exactly small she is, she probably haven't even reached 5 feet.
The silver-haired stood back a bit when Lilith created an energy ball resembling light right out of her own palm, which proves that what Zephel saw earlier wasn't a trick of the eye. After she had revealed to him her outstanding ability, as well as stating out her disability of her sight, Zephel's eyelids dropped slightly. He feels two very conflicting emotions at her performance; impressed and sympathy.
"Alright," he said after a bit of pause, before squatting down so he's at the exact eye level with Lilith. He can see her eyes clearly now, and how very pale it looks. "My abilities are varied, but using them takes more than half of my energy. But for the sake of showing you, I guess I don't mind, since you have shown me yours."
He raises his right arm, extending it straight to his side. "I can control the air around me," he began, and right on cue, a slight breeze could be felt brushing past both of them, enough to make Lilith's loose robes to flutter a bit.
Then, Zephel places his right hand on the ground under him. "I can control the earth where we stand," and then there's a slight rumble under them, only enough to cause the dusts and debris to roll around a bit.
After that, he raises his hand in front of him, in between his face and Lilith's, then a spark of fire was ignited in his palm with a snap of his fingers as he held it in between his fingers. "You can't see it, but I know you can feel the warmth of the fire I created against your face."
In the blink of an eye, the fire was quickly put out and Zephel lowered his hand, now in between his chest and Lilith's body. He breathed out through his mouth, and using the minute of vapour he collected, Zephel formed a ball of water on his palm, spiralling wildly around in the form of a ball, similar to the size of a tennis ball. "Here. You need to touch this one. It's on my hand, right in front of you."
He held out his palm with the ball of water for Lilith to touch if she wishes, "Manipulation of water is also my strength."
True to the warning he had said, it has just been a few seconds of revealing his control of the elements to this girl, but Zeph is already sweating and seeming to have tired himself out. His breathing sounded a bit ragged, as if he just ran a full mile up a mountain.
"...Alright, I'm tired now." He announced after everything is shown, and simply sat down on the floor with a heavy sigh. "Your power reminds me of my brother. He can manipulate light as well, though I doubt he's as good at it as you."

Lilith focus herself in order to understand about Zephel's power. When Zephel show her the power of wind, she raise her left hand as she feels the wind blowing through her . She then seemingly look down on the floor as she can sees the dust and debris rolls when Zephel show her the power of earth. She then slightly flinch when Zephel snap his finger to initiate his ability to spark a flame. And when Zephel told her to touch the water ball, she slowly touch it and feels the essence of water on it. Her face clearly shown that she is mesmerize by it.
It took a while before Lilith replies about Zephel statement about her similarity with his brother. "Is that so..." she replies. She then suddenly smile and giggles like a child she is.
"Interesting, very interesting. Unlike me who can directly summon light out of nothing, you on the other hand control the nature itself on your needs," she pause as she hear Zephel's breath of exhaustion.
"And you sure are lack of energy and stamina... Here let me help you with it," she suddenly raise her right hand and with her pointy finger, she touch Zephel's forehead.
Without a moment waste, a glow of light suddenly focus on her right hand and Zephel's body seeming to glow with pale light. With moderate speed, energy is transferred to Zephel's body and Lilith stop the transfer once she see that Zephel no longer catching his breath for air due to exhaustion.
"I hope that is enough," she states while slowly stopping the energy transfer. She then slowly takes her right hand away Zephel before putting her left hand on her mouth as she is trying to hide the fact she is happy. She rarely talks to people since of her hatred to human. Now that finally talk to someone, she feels happy to able to talk normally.
"If you insist in helping, then I don't mind," she giggles before continues. "But I have to warn you about my temper. You do realize it don't you," she grin at Zephel with a questionable looks.

At least, Zephel thought, his idiotic display of his powers that he rarely had to use, has its perks. Despite draining him from a lot of energy, at least it made this little girl giggling. "Thank you. I shouldn't have done that, but thank you."
Since he was unable to state anything about himself due to his amnesia, it was best for him to show her what he is. Granted it's difficult since she's blind, but at least she's coping up with it. "Your power suits you. Light blinds people, and your inability to see is actually a gift in disguise." God knows how many times his brother had accidentally blinded himself while training.
When catching his breath, it surprises Zephel greatly to have Lilith's finger touching his forehead. Immediately, he felt a wave of energy entering his body, relinquishing his tired state with a glow of her finger.
He raises one of his hands to see it glowing slightly, now realizing that his whole body is glowing and soon as Lilith is done rejuvenating him, Zephel feels energetic again. "Did you just restored my energy..?" He asks in puzzlement, looking back at this child in front of him. "Wow... Thank you."
Sitting cross-legged on the floor, Zephel is smiling. He realized it's of no use since she can't even see him, but he figured she understands how grateful he is. "Of course I insist on helping you, I would even if you throw a temper tantrum."
That is how persistent Zephel is, he has a knack on invading someone's life a lot, even if they didn't want him there. "Oh, yeah.." Seeming to just remembered something, he pulled a bread from his coat, the one that he had put all of Lilith's money in.
"Here are all of your coins in a bun." He explained shortly to her, taking her hand and places the bun inside her palm. "Protip: Do not ever drop money, even coins, in Veyyard. Thieves are lurking everywhere, and might want more of it from you. Okay?"

Having her hand grabbed by Zephel actually shook her a bit. "T-there is no need for you to take my hand for this matter... I still can see... in a way," she stutters. No one ever touch her since that event that changed her life. She still not used to it.
She rubs her hand that has been touch before continue talking. "If those thieves come... Bad luck for having that as their job," she then goes back into her emotionless expression. There are reasons why she can get here without even having too much trouble.
"About the things that i would like to ask for help," she walks about 5 step away from Zephel before turning and back and continues. "Proves of Humanity is needed by the world,"she grins at Zephel.
"Show, me the into the world of human, I do need someone help, as I'm not comfortable in talking to them,"she state in expressionless face. "So what do you say?"
