Like the time he had missed Lilith's attempt to hide her smile before, Zephel had also missed to notice her rattled state when he handed the coin-filled bun to her. No matter how calculative and persistent he is, Zephel is naturally horrible in picking up signs such as this.
"Sorry. I'll keep my distance, then." Still, even if he had failed to question the deeper meaning behind her perturbed gesture, Zephel is at least capable to realize that he had disturbed Lilith in a way.
Still sitting cross-legged on the floor, facing the little girl, Zeph only watched her as she took a few steps away from him and grinned at him as she explained of what she needed help in. "...What." He tilted his head sideways a bit, confused of her plead in the first place.
"You're asking me to prove to you why humanity is needed in this world?" He asked, just to make sure he gets her point at least. Zephel paused for a moment, staring at Lilith in silence as he tries to comprehend that in his head. "Since I'm not even human, I believe I don't have much advantage... But I suppose I'll try."
He wondered for a moment how this girl lives her life so far, to question such a thing in that head of hers. Does she steered clear of any human she met that she completely misses to notice about humanity itself?
"Last personal question; How old are you?" Better ask this to make sure how many years she had been living and believing this all her life.

After hearing Zephel’s question, Lilith giggles at the silver-haired while covering her mouth with her right hand. “I thought that you can tell,” she snickers before continues. “I’ll confirmed it for you then, I’m only a mere eleven years old,”
Lilith gave a long sigh as she slowly close her eyes. “Gifted with power, comes with huge responsibility, and because I’m still young, I have many flaws in my decision. I still got much to learn,” she paused as she turns back away from Zephel and goes back to her sit where her bag lies.
She then lifts her bag and starts to search for something as she continues to talk. “My hatred towards human is far too great for me to handle. Since that you might agree in accompanying me in my quest, I guess I shall elaborate my goal in coming here,” she paused has she found what she’s looking for in her bag.
“Control,” she said as she lifts a small-cube thing on her hand. It is a small music box made in silver and a bit decoration of gold and gemstone. “The music plays by this box able to calm me down when I’m in a pinch of anger. I’m looking for the origins of this box while searching reasons for the human to stay alive as much as my hatred neglects that fact,” she then suddenly gave Zephel a cold look.
“I’ve already tainted with blood, this is warning for you. Are you sure about tagging with me along?”

"Eleven..?!" Zephel outbursts at the disclosure of her true age, "You don't even look eleven-- what are you even-- how can you--..." The silver-haired paused himself every so often to find the correct word to form his question with, but somehow was left tongue-tied in the end. "...Forget it. Never mind."
'She's ELEVEN,' he reminded himself. She's half his age and she's human, how can she not die traveling through the gates of Veyyard. Sighing while rubbing the bruge of his nose, Zephel looked back up again to the girl by the time she explained rather poetically of her own fate. "...Huh. For an eleven-year-old, you're pretty mature for your age."
And he speaks of the truth, because Zephel is horrible in lying. His eyes followed her movements when the child reaches for her bag and rummages for something inside. Remembering she's blind, Zeph almost wanted to offer to find whatever she's trying to find, but went against it since he doubted she'll let him look inside her bag, or touch her possessions.
Like what just happened if he touched her.
His face drops in a somber manner when Lilith finally brings up her reason of even coming this far alone, 'Note to self; once the kid opens up a little more, ask why she hates humans.' For to solve a problem, one must study the roots. Zephel focused his eyes to the object Lilith had pulled out of her bag; a small music box rests on her equally small hand.
Her explanation of what it is made Zephel smirk in amusement, 'So no matter how dangerous she is, she still is just a child..' He reminds himself with a smile when she said the music it emitted is able to calm her, but his grin immediately drops once Lilith uncovers the secrets behind the fancy-looking music box.
"...So basically, you're trying to figure out 2 things simultaneously. The origin of the music box, and the reasons of why humans manages to stay alive." He concluded with a tilt of his head, now the second riddle sounds a lot easier than the first. Zephel is just about to open his mouth to explain the easy way of how a human survives through the whole day, when Lilith beats him to it.
And she's dead serious about the matter of whether or not he's sure of trailing after her. "All the more reason for me to follow you," he responded in a breath's moment, without even a pause. "But first, sit down and eat your bread." His tone changes as he said so, almost commanding, yet still held that normal monotone. Serious issues aside, Zephel prioritize health and energy first than anything.
"Or would you like a pie? A cake? A scone? You better eat a scone, I spent whole morning baking those."

"Hoho, treating me like a kid I see," Lilith raise her eyebrows as she hears that Zephel asked her to eat the bread. Not all people will treat her as her child when they knew her true color.
She then slowly put back the music box back in her bag and start to sit down. She then take the bread and start to slowly eating it. To her surprise, the bread taste delicious which makes her eyes widen. Lilith rarely able to eat well-cooked food recently. As she eats the bread, her eyes suddenly glows as she is using her power in making something. A flash of light suddenly appear in front of Zephel. After the flash faded, on the air, there is a floating glow-white words and sentence. The sentences is created based in what Lilith wants to say,
' I'll think about eating the rest later, you sure know how to cook.' the floating sentence stated as it floats in front of Zephel. As Lilith slowly eats the bread, her eye still glows as she is conjuring another floating sentences. 'Don't know about you, but if you still insist in tagging along, I hope that you can handle those human that may annoyed me to the edge. So better be prepare... Oh, I'll try the... scon? or it is scone? I never heard of it, so I don't know the spelling.' the statement started to fade as her eyes' glow fade.
Lilith finished eating the bread and start to clean her mouth with a napkin. "You can be useful in making food for me, don't you think?" she grins at Zephel as she slowly stood up and face Zephel.
She then signal Zephel to come closer to her. "I got nothing to hide, so I will show you the reason of why I hate human. But it is your choice either to watch the reason, or rather not knowing it. Your call,""her face clearly shows how serious she is.

"Because you are.." Zephel sighed, pushing himself up from sitting on the floor, right at the same moment when Lilith began sitting down to eat her bread. He watched her eat and had to smile of how pleasantly satisfied she looked while eating the bread.
The silver-haired was just about to march off to get some scones from his basket a few ways away when a flash of light suddenly glows in front of him, right in his face. "Whoa--!!" His weight was thrown backwards by the shock and managed to regain his balance before he can even fall over. Reading the words that was shown in front of him, Zephel exhaled a deep sigh.
"Would you stop giving me a heart attack every so often with your light forces and whatnot?" He turned to Lilith with a straight face and asked in monotone. Seeing her eyes are now glowing, Zeph frowns and reads back the rest of what she has to say to him. "And I can't cook. I only bake."
For cooking is related mostly with fire, and food has the tendency to burn when the fire is under Zephel's influence. Reading more of her conjured floating words, Zephel responded, "Stop asking me that, I will tag along with you. I've made up my mind, so don't confuse me with the facts." He let out a chuckle though when Lilith wishes to have some scones, and at this the element wielder smiled at her, "I'm happy that you want some. I'll be pissed if I have to shove them down your throat."
The glow of her eyes faded after that and the little girl resumed eating normally. Zephel walks off to his basket and packs a few small tarts and scones in a small plastic bag. He allowed the monks there to distribute the rest of the treats in the large basket to the children who were beginning to crowd around him and asks the children to behave while he's getting himself distracted with Lilith.
Making his way back to the girl in the white robe, Zeph notices that she had finished her bread. He had to sigh a bit when she stated that he'll be useful in making food, 'Considering the first skill you saw through me is baking.' He walked closer to her when she urged him to, stopping 3 feet away from her. His shadows towers over her and Zephel can't help but feeling rather sympathetic for this small girl. Until she speaks with that serious tone of hers again.
"Clearly, if you need me to help you properly, you have to make me understand you," he answered while tying the plastic bag filled with tarts and scones, and tosses the bag quickly inside Lilith's personal bag on her seat earlier, using telekinesis to float it down inside without much of a noise. Zephel turned back to face Lilith after he's done and his eyebrow creased at her words, "Watch the reason..? What do you mean 'watch the reason'?"

“Eye for an Eye, I’m just being fair considering that you too startled me in some of your action,” the little girl grins. “Besides, I’m used to using my power in doing many things since I’m physically very weak. A simple punch would’ve injured me pretty badly if so does happens,” she paused as she hears about Zephel’s reaction towards her point.
“Then I’ll be please even with only baked food, since I only eat few quantity at a time,” she giggles as her face clearly shows that she likes the bread baked by Zephel. She then waits as Zephel is doing his things before he returns back to her. As Zephel reach at a considerable amount of distance, Lilith seemingly looked up on Zephel as he is taller than her. “Yes, watch…” she paused before continuing. “All I need to do is simply touch your head with my finger to initiate my memory transfer, same as when I transfer part of my energy to you,” she explains as her body seemingly glows a bit as she is preparing to transfer the memory.
“Your call, since I only offer this once. You will know everything about my past and that’s that,” said the paled-eyed girl in serious tone.

Zephel safely stored that little information she gave about herself of being physically weak in his mind, that just strengthens up his will even more to stick with this girl. He nodded unconsciously at that new fact of her, now even considering how to protect her when she doesn't like being touched.
As he's busy thinking up ways on how to do so, Lilith began explaining that she needed to touch his forehead in order to begin the memory transfer. "....Uh wait what. You lost me at memory transfer." Does that mean she's giving him her memory or just showing it?
Her body is beginning to glow while he's contemplating, and that's when she asked, again, if he's sure that he wanted to know. "I said I will, then I will." He decided, nodding to himself of his own decision, and then slowly got down on his knee to allow Lilith to touch his head.
'I have no idea what I'm doing, but as long as this is not a threat, everything's fine.' Calming himself in his mind, he looks towards the little girl, now close enough to see how pale her eyes are. 'She's a little girl, and a BLIND one at that. ..How can I even abandon her.'

“Then there is no turning back…” Lilith states before she touches Zephel’s forehead to initiate her memory transfer. A few second after she touched Zephel’s forehead, Zephel’s body too start to glow dimly. That is the time when both of them are in a trance state. Both of their minds are now going into another place that is created by Lilith in her memory.
Lilith’s Past (6years ago)
The moment when Zephel’s enter the trance, he is warped into an empty space that is dark without anything insight except himself. After a moment, the space drastically morph and twisted for a few second before Zephel can clearly see an image of a place. In Zephel’s eyes, he saw a common long building, made of woods and a few stones with bricks. Around the building, there is a grassy field which on it lays a dirt road that connects the building with another building. It pictures of a common house and field before human image started to appear. They have weapons, they have scars, on their hand holds lots of luxuries good. They came with a caravan that fills with luxuries stuff and necessities goods. They even brought humans along with them, which are cuffed with ropes then forced to be taken inside the seemingly common building. They are non-other than, the outlaw, the bandits.
“Move out Slaves! Hahaha!” one of the bandits shouted on the cuffed people. “Try to escape, and we’ll see what the blades had to say!” the other bandit warned. The unfortunate people who are captured can only follow their orders, and one of them is Lilith. She is just a little girl who is standing inside a crowd of people. That time, she wears a scuff that closes her eyes with a common village cloth. She is already blind that time. With weak body, she tries to not fall on the ground during the moving of the crowd inside the building. Her appearances already caught some of the bandits’ attention as they wonder if she is blind or not. Tremble in fear and clueless in what happened, Lilith can only hope that the bandit won’t do any harm to her if she didn’t do any mistakes. “Hey you!” Lilith suddenly startled as one of the bandits suddenly calls one of the captured victim. “Take out that stuff you hide inside your mouth!” the bandit exclaims. All of the people there now focus on the man that the bandit pointed out. The man obviously hold something in his mouth before he suddenly swallows it before saying – “I don’t have anything inside my mouth! I swear!” he claims. The bandit who calls that man, move closer to him. “You got some guts,” the bandit snots. He wears black outfit and looks more formidable than the other bandits. He then suddenly asked for that suspicious man’s name. “What’s your name lad?” “E-Eric,” that man reluctantly replies. After hearing the answer, that bandit turns the man to face the other captured victim. “Let us congratulate Eric here for showing his guts to us all today for hiding something from me, Augustus the Cleaver! Clap your hands peeps’!” he yells. As the other people reluctantly try to clap their cuffed hand, Augustus suddenly takes out his blade and shoves it on Eric’s stomach. Unable to retaliate, Eric can only shriek after being stabbed and starts to cry in pain as Augustus tear his stomach apart in front of the crowd before literally die on the spot. Women started to scream while the men can only hold themselves from not puking by watching that gruesome scene. “No more showing Guts! Am I clear!?” Augustus suddenly yells toward the people. “Now move out!” he yells before the other bandits started to move the people towards the building. Lilith can’t see anything, thus she can only wonders in what happens. That is the first time she listens to the sound of death. Due to confusion, she starts to panic and her steps twist before she falls on the ground. One of the bandits saw it and started to goes closer to Lilith in anger. Hearing the footstep, Lilith tries to get up in panic but failed to do so as she can’t grab anything to lift herself up. She can’t see. “Get up or – “as the bandit tries to hit her, a woman suddenly cover Lilith. “Please don’t hurt the kid, she is blind!” the woman claims. The bandit stop for a bit before continuing in what’s his doing, “Like I care!” he grins as he raises he hand before hitting the woman with a whip. Blows by blows, Lilith can hear the woman cries in pain. As she almost wanted to cry, the woman hugged her and whisper to her that it’s going to be alright. Augustus, who is also the Leader of the bandit saw what happened and orders the bandit that is hitting the woman to stop. “Just send them into the building, don’t waste time bullying women,” he commands before he walks away from the scene. The angry bandit then forced to obey the order and yell at them to move. The woman who protects Lilith stands up slowly before helping Lilith to be on her feet. As they walk towards the building, Lilith whispers to the woman who helps her, “Thank you, I’m very grateful for your help… I’m sorry for-” the woman stops her before she continues with her words. “No need for that, we adults must protect the young right?” she smiles. “My name is Lyla, what is yours?” she asked Lilith. Lilith smiles as she knows that someone is protecting her in this dire situation and replies “Lilith, Suzuna Lilith,”
The space suddenly disoriented and started to changes drastically from one thing to another. It’s like it is on Fast Forward. Zephel can clearly see the life of Lilith afterward when she is forced to work as waitress along with the other women while the man is forced in doing labors. Zephel can also see how they punish Lilith with whip, Cane and sometime direct fist and legs whenever she does something wrong. Most of the time, she is comforted by Lyla whom she now was considered as her mother and loves her for caring her. Both of them went through harsh life as one by one of the victims dies due to hunger, disease and due to harsh punishments. Year after year, as more victims were brought there from the recent pillage that the bandit had done, they tries to survive. The bandit leader, Augustus recognizes them as a hard worker and is interested in Lyla. Seeing the chances, Lyla tries to flirts Augustus in order to reduce the punishment and work which then makes her less time to visit Lilith during sleep time. Lilith felt lonelier day after day and even if Lyla did return during the sleep time, she no longer treats Lilith the same as before. Lyla became colder towards her and also being arrogant toward the other female slaves. Lilith is confused by her changes but decided to let it go as Lyla promises that she will protect her and lead her to safety sooner or later. She is naïve back then.
At the age of 10, Augustus suddenly took Lilith on his pillaging activity. Confused with his reason, Lilith can only obey him and follows him. Sitting on the front of the horses with Augustus, Lilith can only feel awkward since she is somehow riding horses with one of the dangerous man around. On the way of pillaging, Augustus explains to Lilith the reason why he brings her along. He claims that he wanted Lilith to be part of the bandit group, since he sees how hard working of her despite her weak body and handicap. He also tells Lilith that she had to accept her fate to become a bandit sooner or later or it might backfire her soon enough. “I promise that you will live in better life as you become part of us, won’t ya take this offer hmm? My cute little Lilith?” he pats Lilith on the head. Lilith nods as she understands in what Augustus has to say. It is either accept the offer or die. Lilith has no choice but to accept the offer as she reluctantly reply to accept Augustus bidding. Pleased with her answer, Augustus orders the bandit to move faster as he wanted to show Lilith how they do the pillage. Again, the spaces suddenly morphs as the memory of Lilith moves fast forward. Zephel can now see the village the bandits raiding is burned and lots of man and women is killed. Laughter can be heard on the bandit side as they claims the loot on the village they raid while sorrow voice can be heard by the victims of the pillaged village. Lilith shivers as she hears the situation that happens around her. She tries to hide her shivers by holding on the horse paddle as Augustus suddenly talks to her. “It will always feel uncomfortable the first time,” Augustus laugh coldly. Lilith now started to understand, in order to live happily, she needs to throw away her good side.
After the raid, the bandit returns to their hideout. Lilith then goes to different places inside the building, guided by Augustus. It is a room, even thou it is small, but it is only for her. She felt very happy and even thanking Augustus for it. Before leaving Lilith, Augustus gave Lilith a knife and put it on her hand and told her to keep it as a symbol of her becoming part of the bandit. Lilith asked whether she can bring Lyla with her. Augustus laugh hearing about it which leaves Lilith in dumbfound. He then told Lilith to go to bed and talk about Lyla later before walking away from the room. Confused in why Augustus laugh when asked about Lyla, Lilith can only wonders about it and goes to bed as instructed by him. As midnight comes, Lilith woke up by a knocking on her door. After tidied herself up, she tries to find the door key and open it. To her surprise, it was Lyla. Lilith happily greeted her for coming there as she talks about the room to her. Telling Lyla everything, she didn’t even know that Lyla face clearly shows anger and rage. Before her able to ask her on how she knows about this room, Lyla suddenly hits her on the face before pinning her on the floor. Unable to control her anger, she slaps Lilith blows after blows even when Lilith unable to grasp the situation yet. Lyla stop as she angry pull Lilith back up and throws her over her to the wall. Confused and injured, Lilith can only say ‘Why?’ with innocent looks. Angrily, Lyla tells Lilith that because of her, she fails in tricking Augustus. Because of her, she unable to gain things that she supposed to get. Because of her, everything that she does was in vain. “Traitor! Liar! I don’t know what tricks you gave that man, but I will not let you live with happiness!” Lyla scream as she grab Lilith’s neck and started to forcefully choke her. Unable breaths normally, Lilith can only let out a faint cry due to the pain. She almost ran out of breath. She is confused and disoriented in what is happening. She doesn’t want to die. Unable to think straight, she immediately takes out the knife that she hides on her cloth and stab Lyla’s neck. Blood squirted out from Lyla’s neck which spread throughout the room and onto Lilith. Lyla tries to take the knife out before she started to fell down and passed away. Lilith is in shock. She has killed a person, she can feel the blood on her hand. She cries as sheslowly realizes what had happened. Trembling as she is, she crawls to check on Lyla’s condition. After a few touch on her neck, Lilith finally knows that she is dead. Trying to grasp the reality, she can feel something in her body that is trying to emerge. It feels hot and warm yet very instable.
As she tries to get a hold on herself, Augustus and the fellow bandits already waiting outside the room and laughing. “Good job Lilith! Good job!” Augustus said as seemingly walks over Lyla’s body before kicking the body away to go towards Lilith. “You have helped me in taking out this whore, I thought she would’ve kills you first,” Augustus grin as he goes closer to Lilith. Knowing that Lilith is still confused, he continues. “Youwana know why? Simple, I told her that you sold her out in order to gain this fancy room. So I told her if she don’t want to die, she need to kill you, ain’t that fair?” A spark of light suddenly ignited inside Lilith’s body. “B-b-but... you said… you promise…” Lilith tries to speak, but she is too weak to say it loudly. Listening to Lilith, Augustus laughs vigorously before touching Lilith’s chin with his hand. “You actually believe that? Why would I take a blind little girl to join my group? Do you even realize the time I bring you on that village I raid is actually your home village?” Another spark of light emerges inside Lilith. “W-w-ha-”Lilith started to become speechless. She slowly began to accept the truth. “You are only a tool for us! A tool! No more than that! Since that you actually live, I shall give you to my boys for them to have fun! Hear that boys!?” the other bandits cheers while giving away an evil laugh. Lilith eyes widen as she hears that statements. She wants to cry for help, but she can’t. She got no one else to ask for. Out of fear and angry at herself, she yells at Augustus for lying to her and to Lyla about how he tricks Lyla into attacking her. Again, Augustus laughs. “Do you know why she actually cares for you from the beginning? She is using you in order to gain attention. So that I pay attention. In order for her to play lovey-dovey with me later on for god knows what,” “She never cares for you, girl,” After hearing that claims, Lilith can no longer control her sorrow and fell on her knees before starts to cry. She was torn apart, knowing that the only person she cares for, actually never cares for her. Augustus then grabs Lilith’s hair and pulls her head up and told her one last thing. “Actually I pitied you. Your village sold you over in order to protect themselves.” Lilith was shocked to hear that statement. “In other word, you’re nothing more than a tool to us. To the people who own you. If you think that I’m inhuman, say that to the people that sold you out first! Hahaha!” He lets out another laugh before dragging her on the floor to give her to the other bandits. Lilith has had enough. Fact after facts, truth after truths. She can no longer control herself. All the hatred, sadness, and pain, the power in her has been unlocked. With a shout of anger, Lilith’s body start to glow and a flash of light suddenly emerges from her body. Without a moment for the bandit to react, the building itself exploded. Zephel can clearly see the destruction force done by that explosion that destroyed everything within a wide radius. The bandit’s hideout is no more including everyone in it except for Lilith. Lilith is standing on her feet, covered with blood. Her face shows no emotion as many bodies can be seen around her. As Lilith tries to mutter something, the space started to twist itself and slowly fade. The memory transfer was forcefully ends.
Back to reality
Lilith’s move her finger away from Zaphel and started to turn herself away from Zephel. Her hand obviously shivers as well as her tone. “Do not, ever asked me to explain again about t-that! Got it?” she states in angry tone. She had showed her past that no one ever saw before. She thought It would be easy to give it away, but it is out of her calculation. He breathing hasten as she clearly shows that she is losing herself. “I need a moment alone,” she suddenly walks away from Zephel toward the church’s door while carrying the music box. Not knowing if the things she does is right or wrong, she somehow felt regret showing Zephel her past. After walking out from the church, she then walks around it and find a place where no one is around. She then open’s the music box and plays it. The music plays by the box, slowly calms her down. Unable to control her feelings, she started to cry. Even thou she is prepared in sharing the memory, she still unable to face her past. She wishes that the past was simply a bad dream for her which is impossible now. With only the music box and her determination, she lives on to find a new purpose in her life. That is what Lilith seeks for.

If Zephel had never experience anything relating to memory transfer, he would surely be panicking now to realize that his body is currently glowing. Thankfully, he had certainly experienced something like visual scenes of another person's memory playing in front of his eyes before, so he could only brace himself as he gets ready to view what Lilith has in store for him.
Zephel stayed put, his face emotionless when he entered in a dark area enveloping him, before images began to appear slowly, and then the setting is clear for him to see.
The tale is starting.
Zephel watched the scenes that was shown to him, his straight face malformed into disgust as he watched what is transpiring from a third viewpoint of Lilith's past. His eyes were particularly sharp to notice a younger Lilith standing within the many humans who were made to be slaves for a group of outlaws.
In that second, Zephel could tell things are going for the worst. His eyebrows are creasing with every scene that happened involving the poor girl being mistreated. His eyelids automatically closes when a few scenes of Lilith being beaten up was shown.
He watches everything that has happened, about Lyla, about Augustus, about the village who sold her out, about everyone who had taken a liking into manipulating this blind child. One after another, the unfortunate events has shaken Lilith, and finally...she exploded. Literally.
Even Zephel didn't expect the ending. His eyes are widened to its fullest extent upon witnessing how the building literally blows up, and in the center of the massive destruction is the child who was bullied until she had lost her faith in her own species.
"Ugh!" His body was thrown back after the mental trip to this little girl's past, possibly due to the shock of his senses returning all of a sudden. The emphatic closing of the memory surprises Zephel since he wanted to know what exactly did Lilith murmured back then, but he decided not to push it. Not when the very girl who had gone through all of those horrible upshots he had seen merely seconds ago is shaking.
"I..." His voice is dry, having nothing to reply, his mind has not quite processed the things she had shown him yet due to the shock, but then her sudden quaking voice demanding him to never ask her about it awakens Zephel from his trance, "..Got it."
He can't even respond to this, this is way out of his field. Her past haven't even come close to a decent turn-point, and only now he understands why Lilith is so bitter towards people in general. Zephel only nodded when the girl asks to be alone, but realizes a bit too late that she can't even see him nodding, so the silver-haired just stayed quiet on the floor where he is.
Zephel simply stayed there for a long moment, processing what had been shown to him slowly so it will seep into his brain. He gave her some time alone while he himself is trying to figure out what should he do now.
With a deep exhale, the man pushes himself up and looks around for the blind girl. After walking around the church for a while, he finally sees a small figure sitting at the entrace of the cathedral. Zephel approached her from behind and then settles himself to lean against the wall opposite of where Lilith is facing.
"Lilith," he spoke up, to make sure she knows he's there in case she hasn't sensed him yet. "You wish to forget your past, while I'm trying to find mine. We're both not satisfied about what has happened, and we will never be unless we overcome it."
He glanced down towards her, only seeing the back of her head from his view. "I'm sorry," he threw in an apology for good measures, "...for making you remember. But thank you, for showing me what it's like to remember." His voice is so slow and faint, it's barely even audible.
"I'll leave you alone now. Recollect your emotions and center your balance. Take your time. I'll wait till you're ready." Zephel pushes himself slowly from the wall he's leaning on and is about to head off to the children enjoying his pastries at the center of the building.

After Lilith manages to calm herself down, she wipes her tear and close the music box on her hand. While she was doing that, she noticed that Zephel are approaching her. She let him be as she already calmed herself without needing to face him. As she hears Zephel's apologies and thanks for sharing the memory to him, Lilith smiles without Zephel noticing it. Taking Zephel advice to put herself back together, she replay the music by the music box on her hand while Zephel went for the children to give away his pastries. A few moment later after reminiscing her thoughts, she closed the music box and stand up before walking towards Zephel.
She approaches Zephel from the back slowly without causing much attention to the children near Zephel. She then gently holds the back of Zephel's cloth in order to tell him something with some of her magic. Her hand dimly glows as she initiates her magic. She don't want to speak with her own voice, as she don't want anyone else but Zephel to hear it. Her words will be given directly on Zephel's mind. "Thank you, I feel better now. Let me correct a little, I may have wanted to forget my past but I actually wanted to find the remnant of my past. Just like you, only that mine are more few than the memory you seeking about your past."
After a few of her thoughts gave to Zephel, she tighten her grips on Zephel's cloth before giving another few of her thought. "You're past, might be something that is unpleasant to see, even the past that I'm looking for. Aren't you affraid?" the spell of her's is cut off. She have given what is in her thought. Lilith knows the fact that even she acts strong and bold, she still afraid of her past. Now with Zephel by her side, she wanted to know if finding the past is a good choice to begin with. As she know that the past can brings sadness, she worried that it too will bring sadness towards Zephel when he finds his memory of the past.

Zephel is quietly handling everything that he had baked to the children crowding around him. A small smile stays on his face as he does so, genuinely enjoying giving these children the treats he makes. Funny how he doesn't even like pastries, yet he can make kids happy by being good at baking them.
Then, he felt someone holding his shirt from behind. He's about to turn around to see who it is when he heard a familiar voice in his head. Eyes widening slightly, Zephel can tell who's communicating with him. He understands immediately on what she meant, but then was startled when she compared her memory with his.
His eyes are widened completely as he whipped his head behind him to stare at Lilith, shocked that she can tell he has issues too with his own memories. He had only given her a small clue back then, the fact that she can figure it out by only that small hint surprises him.
He stared quietly over his shoulder towards Lilith behind him as she continued her thoughts. Zephel was silent for a moment, before shuffling out of the mass of children while guiding Lilith away from the crowd to a quiter area a ways away from the others.
Zephel then crouched down so he could be at the same eye-level with the girl and sighed before speaking. "Of.. Of course I'm afraid, Lilith. Just because I'm not human, doesn't mean I never felt fear. I'm very afraid of what I can't remember.." He admitted, his voice sounds so fragile as he said so. Looking at the face of this blind girl, he strengthens his will to say what he never said out loud.
"But that means...whatever that I can't remember, is worth remembering, if I'm afraid this much." He offered a small smile to her, despite the fact that she can't even see him. "I exist for a reason, so do you. The reasons are for us to figure out, and all the clues lies in our past. It's like I said... No matter how unpleasant it is, it is how we overcome it is important. That is what makes us who we are."
Zephel chuckled a bit at how cliche he sounded, but there is truth in his words, that's why he said it in the first place. "Now, don't doubt yourself. Okay? After all those layers of hell you've been through, you will grow to be a strong individual. I can promise you." He wanted to ruffle her hair for some odd reasons, maybe it's his paternal instincts kicking in. Though knowing of how sensitive she is, instead of doing so, Zephel summoned a light gale of wind to mess with the top of Lilith's head.
"Who knows? Maybe a miracle will happen right at this moment."

Mitsuko had been flying for quite a while in order to reach St. Lux Eterna. That was the place after all in which Suzuna and her agreed upon in order to start their journey in finding the girl, which was in a picture in a locket that Suzuna had. Her locket was a key to her past and Mitsuko wanted to be by her side and assist her in anyway that she could especially with finding out who this mysterious girl was.
The angel knew that Suzuna was prepared to face whatever came her way, but at the same time she could tell that the little girl was a little nervous. She may not say it outloud but the angel is in tune with what another was feeling, and so she can tell. Mitsuko kept remind Suzuna to keep breathing, to clear her head, and to even smile on the inside. This was an important moment for Suzuna’s life and the angel hoped that it would go as smooth as possible.
As the angel flew with Suzuna in her arms she held her like a baby. She also kept in mind that this will most likely be an emotional moment, and the angel was prepared to give Suzuna a hug at anytime if she needed one, but as emotional this may be, it will be a miracle in its own way, and Mitsuko only wanted Suzuna to have a peace, happiness, and comfort that she deserved. A few minutes later the angel landed at the Cathedral and set Suzuna on her feet gently.
“Don’t worry everything will be fine, just keep your faith strong, don’t forget to smile, and don’t forget to be strong. I’m with you too.”
As soon as they landed the children started to run to Mitsuko and giving her a big hug, which she gently returned, as well as giving the coloring books that she had brought for them. But there was one extra book and looking into the distance she saw a familiar figure. A figure in which she hadn’t seen in almost a year now since she got her memory back. Zephel was his name.
The angel smiled to herself and started to walk toward him and toward the little girl he was with. Once he said the word Miracle, Mitsuko gently made her presence known.
” Miracles can happen when you least expect it, all you have to do is have faith.”

it is the first time that Alessa flies with Mitsuko by her wings. She felt nervous and afraid at first, but after a while, she got used to it. She never felt so happy, to her, this is the first feeling of flying. The breeze of wind that blows through her body, and the scenery seen from the higher view mesmerized her. She calms down as Mitsuko's gentle words tell her that it is going to be alright. Even from the high sky, she clearly can see how dangerous the world below. She remember a time when she first went to Veyyard, which almost takes her life away. Shaking her head in order to not remember the past about it, she prepared her mentality to overcome what comes ahead of her when they reaches their destination, the famous Cathedral, St. Lux Eterna.
As they landed, Alessa was amazed by the amazing architecture of the cathedral. As she observe the building, suddenly many children start to surround them. She panics a little since she didn't know what exactly is going on. After she saw that Mitsuko knows the kids, she understood that these are the orphans that Mitsuko talked about. Not knowing on what to give them, she crouched down and take out some chocolate bars in her bag and gave it to the children. The children looks very happy, which makes her smile without realizing it. As she watches all the children around her, she noticed that Mitsuko is walking towards someone she was not familiar with. A man, with silver hair. Apologizing to the kids and then bow as she has to leave them, she then hastily walks to Mitsuko.
As she goes toward Mitsuko, she noticed another child standing nearby the silver-haired man. Somehow, she is familiar with her appearance. Her dimmed sapphire hair, and the pale-eye. It almost resemble the picture in her locket, but that picture was taken when the girl was only five. That little girl, is Lilith. Without no memories about her, she focus fully on Lilith as she walks slowly towards her. The closer she goes towards Lilith, the more nostalgic feelings Alessa felt. She do not understand why, but as she tries to figure it out, her hand were already going to touch her face. Unnoticed by her action, and Lilith's reaction, she almost touched her before Lilith denies her act by flashing a beam of light in front of her, which cause her to knock back a few feet before stumbling on her feet and fall onto ground. She was shocked by that. As she tries to stand, she saw Lilith expression, that obviously shows anger carved on her face.
Things are not going smoothly.

Lilith listen to Zephel's confession quietly to let Zephel take his time in doing so. She felt relief and happy, because she is asking the right person to help her in her quest this time. A gentle gust of wind created by Zephel messed up her head after Zephel compliments her actually makes her feel comfortable. She knows that she is being cared, but her action state otherwise. "H-huh! Don't treat me like a kid will ya?" she states as she walks away with red face of anger and embarrass.
After she slowly walks to keep her distance from Zephel, she turns back to Zephel then give him a grin. "Let us wait and see what past has it surprised for us then." Before she wants to continue her talking, she is paused as she sensed something is coming. Its coming toward the Cathedral by flight. It is not a bird, it is bigger. Not a monster, but a humanoid with wings. Her mind can not comprehend the facts about it. 'A harpy? An angel? could that be possible?' she thought. Doubting her own sense, she turned her face toward the entrance as where the being she saw in her vision of hers are coming. It is Mitsuko.
'So, it is a she... and she can hide her wings...' she thought. Trying to convince herself. As she observe Mitsuko with her essence of light view, she noticed that she has a company, which is Alessa. She clenched her fist as she noticed that a human is here. She does not pay attention to the priest and the orphan as the 'human' in her view much as she know they are different. She can't see Alessa's face nor her expression as she is blind. She noticed that Mitsuko is coming towards Zephel, and she is surprised that she knows Zephel. What's more surprising that Alessa is coming towards them too, but Alessa somehow is closing her.
She clenched her fist hard while giving an intimidating face to warn Alessa not to come close. But it seem that Alessa din't pay attention or understand that. Unsuspecting that Alessa would try to touch her on the face, she immediately cast a flash of light in front of Alessa which actually pushed her back a couple of feet before making her stumble on the ground. Lilith is shocked and angry about this. She wonders why Alessa does that act. Her body glows in dim light as if she is preparing for attack. She clearly not satisfy in what Alessa's doing on her. "How dare you try to touch me! Who do you think you are!" she growls angrily. This clearly attracts the attention of people inside the Cathedral.
"What excuses can you give to save your life?" she stated, with serious and cold voice. She is serious about her statement.

Zephel can't help it to let out a chuckle as he draws in this amusing reaction from Lilith by simply complimenting her. He watched her with an amused smile as she stalked away from him, before turning around and said to just wait and see what happens. "Right," he nodded at her with that same smile.
Though then, he noticed her facial expression changed. He was just saying something about a miracle when a voice so familiar echoed elegantly through the still air. Turning his head to the source of the voice, Zephel's eyes widened slightly at the sight.
"Mitsuko," he called in surprise. Since he was still on one of his knees on the floor, Zephel pulled himself up to stand properly. Then he spotted a young lady following the angel close behind, and at this Zeph tries to remember if he had seen this girl before.
The answer his mind provided him with is a negative, so he turned his attention back to Mitsuko with an acknowledged nod as a greeting. That's when he noticed that Mitsuko's friend is walking a little bit further and realizing she's heading straight for Lilith.
"H-hey--" He tried to warn her, but she's already up and touching the kid. Like Zephel expected, Lilith is not pleased with the girl's action and decided to startle her a few feet away with a beam of light.
"Lilith!" Zephel made his way beside the blind girl hurriedly, trying to instill at least a bit of reason. "Calm yourself, please.. I'm sure she has her...reasons." Turning to the strange woman who had pissed Lilith off, Zephel could only stare at her and wonder why on earth would she do that.
...Unless she's somehow related to Lilith in some way.
"Didn't you said you want to know why humans could stay alive..? Well, now you have your chance." He calmly explained to Lilith, "Hatred could drive out truth. So please... Give her a chance...okay? Allow her to at least explain."
Zephel was never the persuasive kind, so he just hoped whatever he said works.
