There were so many children coming to Mitsuko these days, not that she minded of course. These children looked up to her as a sister and a friend to all, and she was so touched that she can help them in some way, at the age of 23 she was glad that she could leave a positive impression for these kids in the future. She even taught them on a regular basis by teaching them to read, write and even sing.
She was still an officer part time, but her other part was being here for these kids so Wednesday’s Thursday’s and Friday’s and Saturday’s she would spend her time teaching these kids, because she believes that education is so important. While on Monday, Tuesday’s and Sunday’s she would be at the HQ helping out. If it was a dire emergency then she would go in for the meetings, or if someone needed her counsel then she would talk to the individuals by phone.
So life in general had been pretty busy, but she needed to help these kids. A lot of these children didn’t have a lot to begin with, so Mitsuko believed that these kids needed an equal chance to succeed just like anyone else.
Since today was a rainy day, Mitsuko was in doors in her room at her desk figuring out a lesson plan on what to teach the kids next, she loved being organized and prepared as these children needed her full attention, not someone that goes all over the place at once.
‘Now let’s see… I could print out some work sheets so they can learn how to write. I mean when I was little, I had these sheets that had letters on them in the form of dotted lines, and I had to just trace over them over and over until I got the feeling of writing that specific letter all on my own.’
She was so hard at work that the angel didn’t realize someone calling for her, which of course happens when she’s so focused.

The day had gotten considerably darker by the time noon comes, the clouds are getting heavier as Sean was forced to pause his journey to Ianne. He spotted a building in his peripheral vision a few hundred meters away thanks to Sougen's generally deserted flat land.
He headed that way as quickly as he can, determined to reach the building before rain falls. He was half way there when slight drops of rain began raining down the earth, and by the time Sean had reached the backdoor of the building, which happens to be Alamo Inn, he was soaking wet.
His black cloak is drenched with rainwater, so as he stepped inside the building, he had left puddles of water when he rushed inside the building, glad to find no one inside currently. So the small child rushed through in the back kitchen and huddled himself in a corner where he thought nbody would notice him, and just sat there, shivering and freezing in the cold.
"Celeste... I don't like rain..." He whispered to the imaginary bird on his shoulder through his chattering teeth. It's annoying that he can't seem to move through the rain with how small and weak he is.
Of being so cold, Sean sneezed.

"Hey, hey! Come on, guys, in a line! How many times do I have to tell you that?" Zero pouted down at the kids, who came hoarding in the kitchen now once he offered some quick lunch for them while waiting for Miki to get ready with their work sheets upstairs.
Once in a while, Hunter would give him some slack in work that they were supposed to do together. So like always, he'd shoo Zero to Alamo Inn and promised to pick up Zero soon when nightfall comes, as long as they won't tell Jean that Hunter's going Solo again.
Admittedly, Hunter likes working solo once in a while, so he's more than happy to kick Zero out when the work load drops down to a rate that he believes he could do so alone. Zero always takes the chance to drop by Alamo Inn when Hunter kicked him off, and luckily, it's Miki's teaching time.
He always joins in the class if he had the chance, usually sitting at the furthest away behind all the kids so they won't have any trouble seeing what their teacher is teaching. Zero also would shamelessly joins in with the kids' activities during the lesson, since he himself is at their level when it involves reading and writing.
In front of people, Zero is prideful. Though, in front of children, Zero casted off his pride and completely lets them correct whatever mistakes he made in class. Also for the fact that he loves children more than grown-ups.
Except Miki. Miki is his top one favorite person.
So as he waddled his way through the sea of children occupying around the table in the small part of the kitchen, Zero went off into the deeper part of the kitchen to get himself an apple from the fridge. Once he had opened the fridge and got what he wanted, he heard a small sneeze.
Turning to the area, he noticed a cloaked little boy, completely wet. "Huh? How did you get here..? Did you played in the rain when I wasn't looking?" Closing the fridge, Zero walked towards Sean with a frown, totally mistaking this child as a part of the kids in Miki's class.
"Come on, we need to dry you up. Let's go upstairs and get you a clean set of clothes." Being the insensitive man that he is, he didn't even help to pull the child up and only cocked his head sideways as he ordered, and then walked off as if expecting the child to follow him.

Sean literally jumped when his sneeze attracts a man's attention. His face is fearful as if he's been caught doing something bad; he DID trespasses into a territory without permission. The little boy was just about to apologize and scurry away when the man suddenly offered him dry clothes.
Now confused but thankful that the man didn't even take a step in his personal space, Sean stood up from the corner dripping wet like that, and followed the man as he walked out of the kitchen.
Sean noticed a large group of children his age snacking on some bread and butter as he walked through the kitchen, and he could only gulp down his saliva as he forces himself to look forward, still following the man but keeping a safe distance away as he followed.

When Zero reaches the stairs, he turned his head over his shoulder to see if the kid is following him, and smiled to see the little boy behind him. "Now let's go upstairs and see your teacher if she has any spare clothes for you."
Zero climbed up the stairs, mentally making a note in his head to grab the mop upstairs and clean the trail of water this kid made in the inn. When he reaches upstairs, he didn't even wait for Sean as he immediately went in one of the toilets, grabbed a spare towel, and simply dropped the towel on the kid's head, expecting the boy to be able to take care of himself.
"Keep yourself dry with that, and follow me." He then walked in the direction to Miki's room, noticing it to be opened already. "Miki!" He called out, knocking on the door as he stood at the frame with Sean beside him, "Do you have any spare clothes for this kid? I think he played outside when I wasn't looking, sorry."

The reason that Mitsuko's room door was opened is because Duo had beaten Zero to reach it when the boy is busy grabbing a towel. With his speed, he's able to zoom right upstairs, slipped beside Sean climbing the stairs and went inside the room after a quick knock.
"Miss Mitsuko! I copied the rest of the music sheet like you asked~" He sang, walking towards the angel as he places the small stack of paper beside her on her desk. "...Miss Mitsuko? Aw, didn't you hear me?"
He tried calling out to her, and that's when Zero came knocking on the door with a cute little kid beside him. "Oh snap, he's dripping wet.. ...Wow, Zero, no offense, but he kind of looks like you with how serious his face looked, haha."

‘OH! I can also have a lesson plan on safety! This is perfect!’
Mitsuko smiled to herself and when she made a note of it on her organized papers she soon snapped out of her thoughts and heard Duo’s voice.
Her face went red as it embarrassed her whenever she got so caught up with her work, she tunes everyone out—feeling that she was being rude because of her tuning people out she apologized many times.
“I am so sorry Duo! I didn’t realize that you were calling me I hope you can forgive my impoliteness. This always happens when I am so focused I forget what’s around me, so again I deeply apologize.”
She smiled at him as she apologized, and looked at the music sheets. The children each needed one to sing along with, which is why she asked Duo to make copies of them. One for Mitsuko and Duo, as they were the musical team, and copies for the rest of the class.
“Thank you Duo you have been a big help! I greatly appreciate it.”
Just then Zero came into the room asking the angel if she had spare clothes for the little boy that was drenched in the rain. She recognized the little boy instantly, even though she hasn’t seen him in a long while. She also noticed that he had a towel at the top of his head, giggling a little bit she went over to Sean, and gently took the towel and helped him dry off.
“I do have extra clothing, not to worry. I was prepared before I started these classes, as you never know if a child will have an accident or in Sean’s case get soaked in the rain. Also, Zero do you have a flash light on you in case the power goes out? The rain is pretty nasty out there, and for whatever reason I can’t seem to find my flashlight, I have turned this place upside down before preparing my lessons, and I can’t find it. If you don’t have one don’t worry I can use my power if needed.”
Mitsuko then directed her attention back to Sean.
“Hello Sean, I’m going to help you get changed okay? We really need to get you out of these wet clothes, the last thing we need is for you to catch a cold.”
The angel was very gentle with this little boy just like she is with all of the children, and she went to the dresser and brought out extra clothing which was going to be a little big for him, but it wasn’t going to be hard for him to move around in. Once she assisted him in getting changed she was going to hang his clothes in the bathroom for them to air dry.
So she left Zero and Duo in the room with the kids, while she went to assist Sean. As she began to help him change she was reminded of the time when Zero was little. Because of Zero’s condition when she first met him, she had to assist Zero in changing, bathing, and even eating, because his injuries caused him so much physical pain.
She could swear that Sean was like Zero’s mini me to an extent, and she hoped that they can both get along.

One of the kids that were in the class with Zero clung onto him.
“Uncle Zero~~ My homework I couldn’t finish it can you help me please? I don’t want to get in trouble by auntie Mitsuko.. I mean I don’t want her to be disappointed in me. I want to make her super proud! We got a few minutes to look it over pleaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaase?”
The little girl begged Zero to give her a hand with her unfinished homework, but she felt that there may be a chance in which he’ll say no since as a student learning, the little girl won’t learn anything if he does it for her. The little girl noticed that Zero was strict in the classroom but that didn’t bother her, as it helped them obey the rules to an extent.
Another little girl went to Duo, and looked up at him.
“Are we going to play music today? Don’t you just love it when you see us all smiling because of the music?”

Sean's eyes widened at the familiar lady in the room. Although it's been a long time since he had last seen her, Sean doesn't easily forget people. With a towel draped over his head, the little boy could only stare at the room in surprise.
He instinctually backed away a bit when Mitsuko approached him, and then allowed himself to be dried off after Celeste hooted at him to stay still. Sean has an almost permanent frown on his face as he closed his eyes and let the towel run all over his skin and hair.
Once Mitsuko found him some extra dry clothes, Sean spoke up to her, "I can dress by myself, thank you." He took the clothes from her, no way would he let anyone see the massive number of scars and burn marks all over his body under his cloak there. His eyes are facing downwards on the floor, almost in shame that he's not particularly normal.
With his cloak still soaked, Sean refused to remove it until he's competely alone. "If you could show me where the bathroom is..." his voice trailed off, somehow unable to meet Mitsuko in the eyes. "I can do it by myself. Please don't pay me any attention."

When Zero was asked to look for a flashlight, his hand immediately went under his jacket and pulled out a sort of pocket-knife. "I have one," he announced, pressing a button on the multi-purpose pocket-knife and a shaft of light shoots out from the edge of the item.
"C'mon Miki, I'm a bounty hunter. Give me some credit," he partly chuckled as he switched off the light and puts the thing back inside his jacket. It's too cold for him to remove his jacket, so Zero chose to wear it even indoors.
Zero then went back downstairs to the rest of the kids to announce that class is almost starting, so the children would hurry up with the snacking. "And leave some for me too!" And the bounty hunter joined them on the floor as one of the kids was kind enough to make him a sandwitch.
Some of them were done with eating and moved were busy ransacking their own bagpacks to pull out some homeworks. "Hm?" With his mouth filled with a bite of sandwitch, he turned to the girl who clung onto him. He took his time chewing his food as he listened to what her problem is and swallowed.
"Hey, I'm as new as you here, I've even missed a few classes. How do you expect me to know how to help with your homework?" He asked, partly joking, but then quickly realizing that his response sounded quite negative. "...Oh alright, let's take a look at it together then."
He doubt he could help, since he can't even pass reading, much less writing. Just as he skimmed over the homework, he noticed another girl approached Duo to ask if they're going to make music. He took another bite of the sandwitch as he then leaned over the homework of the previous little girl and tries to solve it along with her while waiting for Miki to ge ready for the class.

Since this is Duo's first time delving into the teaching profession, he's rather nervous, although his clients are only little children seeking knowledge. He stayed back in Mitsuko's room when Zero left for the children, and scratches the back of his neck.
"Miss Mitsuko... Do you really think I'm suitable with this job? I-I mean, if you notice me messing up, then please tell me, okay?" He laughed nervously, being the new teacher sort of scared him a bit, what with having these children relying on him to teach them well, although it's just music.
"Uhm...a-and where is the classroom, actually? Do you teach them in your room or downstairs, or a free guest room here?" He asked to make sure, being new made him nervous and awkward.
After that, he followed Zero to climb downstairs, inside feeling a bit tensed and skittish, but outside he looks perfectly happy and calm. His braid sways with his every movement as he climbed down the stairs and it attracted a few attention from the children there.
He was just about to introduce himself when a little girl approached him to ask him a question. Duo went down and knelt on one of his knees so he'll be in the same eye-level as the child. "Why, yes. We are going to play music today. I don't know the actual plan yet since I'll just do what Mis-- I mean, auntie Mitsuko told me to do. So you just have fun and participate in what we're gonna learn, okay?"
Standing back up straight again, he rests his hands on his hips and announced to the children. "Hello~ I'm not sure if auntie Mitsuko had told you about me yet, but I'll introduce myself anyway. You can call me Uncle Duo, and I am going to be helping auntie Mitsuko with your lessons from today onwards."
He paused a bit to let the children seep that in before continuing, "I'll mostly help out during music lessons, since I'm that awesome in that particular department, but I'll help around with other lessons too if she needs me. So, pleased to meet you guys." He nodded to the children, and then caught Zero's stare at him.
"Ah, yeah. And I hope you'll be nice to me like how you're so nice to Uncle Zero there, haha. So! Any questions?"

Mitsuko’s smile never faded despite Sean’s distant manner and so she directed him to where the bathroom was, and returned to the room slowly. She had wanted to respect Sean’s wishes so she just allowed him to be independent, as he asked. When Zero showed her the light that he had, that was a part of his pocket knife, her eyes widened a little.
“Oh my, I never knew that pocket knives had lights in them. Hahaha that goes to show that I need to accompany you on bounty hunts more often. Dad has me under lock and key now hahaha!”
As she said those words especially the part in where she should accompany Zero more on bounty hunts, she could see his seriousness on his face, and so she reached out and gave him a hug, while laughing at herself a little. She knew that Zero would never allow her to accompany him in bounty hunts very often now because of all that’s happened, and now that he knows the reason why she joined in the first place.
“I’m kidding. Come on give me a smile~”
The angel touched Zero’s nose cutely with her index finger and smiled at him, just like she did when he was a child, and he was in one of his moods, it was one of her ways to get a genuine smile out of him, because after all Zero’s child like side still lived within him.
She then, heard Duo’s voice and how nervous he is considering that today is his first day as a teacher. She gave him a hug as well and assured him that he’s going to do well, not only because Mitsuko is there by his side as a fellow educator and as his friend, but because she knows that he has a god given talent, and when he embraces it with full force he makes wonderful music.
“You’ll be great Duo. I understand that you are nervous, but we don’t want the children to feel what you feel right? (The nervousness) These children are very perceptive and if they sense that you are nervous, then they will get uncomfortable. Just keep smiling and keep remembering the smiles that you get when you play your music, and when you are you.
Kind, upbeat, and positive. Those are three words that I would use to describe you. With who you are as a music teacher, and as a person that loves children, you together with me and Zero, we can create a positive learning environment for these children.”
Mitsuko placed a hand on Duo’s shoulder and looked at him with kind and encouraging eyes.
“Now I will be teaching everyone here in this very room, as I have yet to get a bigger room, so renovations should be starting next week. Once the bigger room gets renovated I’ll have the chance to put in a few desks, and chairs. For now everyone has to sit in a circle around you and I as we are the teachers.”
The angel put on her glasses, that she uses only for teaching, not only to make her look professional, but to have an easier time with her eyes, as with all the work she has been doing lately her eyes were getting strained. She then put the children’s workbooks that she had marked on the ground in the center of the floor, so when the children gather in a circle, they can each get them easily.
She was soon ready to teach, but she had to ask Zero for two favors.
“Zero, I am sorry to interrupt, but can you do me a favor.. er two to be exact. Part of my lesson revolves around safety, and since you are a bounty hunter, do you think you can teach these children a little bit on safety? Like tips to keep themselves safe? If you don’t mind? The other favor… Can you please check on Sean for me to make sure he got in his clothes okay? He’s in the bathroom.”
After she had asked Zero for those two favors she thanked him:
“Thanks Pumpk- I mean Zero for your help, I greatly appreciate it.”
Mitsuko had to stop herself from calling him by the loving nicknames since she had to remain professional. She really didn’t want to show favoritism, or have these children ask embarrassing questions (Though they would anyway).
But in truth Zero, was one of Mitsuko’s favorite people.
She gently stroked the little girl’s hair that was with Zero doing her homework as the angel spoke to him. The angel then spoke to the little girl and told her that they can look over her homework when it’s time to get the homework marks. In Mitsuko’s class every mark counts, from participation, to homework, everything was graded.
Mitsuko’s version of being graded didn’t just mean how well each child did something, but it also acted as a milestone for each child, like what they accomplished for the day. Whether it be reading, writing, arts and crafts, and even being teachers little helper, everything had a sense of accomplishment for those children.
The angel slowly sat on her bed and waited for each child, there were a few though that decided to get seated in the circle early.

The little girl smiled at Duo, and since she has great respect for Zero and Mitsuko, she remembered what they both taught her. To have respect for everyone, so she called Duo uncle after he had introduced himself to the children. Beaming her brightest smile, she took a hold of Duo’s hand.
“You know what you should do uncle Duo? You should dress up in costumes at story time. Auntie Mitsuko, brings the books to life by dressing up as a certain character, I think today is the little riding hood! You should be… the hunter that saves her from the big bad wolf. I think uncle Zero should play the wolf! See look at this!”
Holding onto Duo’s hand the little girl led him to where the costumes for story time were kept.
“See isn’t the costumes cool? Auntie Mitsuko sewed them; she has the little boo boos to prove it! And as a class project, during our arts and crafts time, we worked together to make props! Isn’t it amazing that we can use simple everyday items and turn them into wonderful props? It’s like magic!”

Once the bathroom was directed, Sean made his way to where the woman had pointed. He had never really allowed anyone to touch him directly, and he prefers to do things his way with as less help as possible.
He closed and locked the bathroom door once he entered, and slowly undress himself. With the towel that was given to him, Sean dries himself and then slipped in the dry pair of clothes that was given to him.
They're a bit big for him, but that's just how he likes it. Sean prefers to wear baggy things so the clothes won't stick to his skin, so it won't sting all the marks around his body. Once he finishes that, Sean picked up his wet clothes and hangs them on the vertical pole meant to hang towels on.

Zero helped all the children cleaned up downstairs by washing their hands and picking up some empty juice boxes to throw in the trash. He always acted as the 'strict-uncle' type, so when he asks them to throw their own trash, they would obey him without much of a fuss.
Once everything is settled downstairs, he ushered the kids to go up the stairs, following up last to make sure no one is left behind. When he came in Miki's room, he instructed the children to sit in a circle, like they always do in her classes. He was just about to sit in his spot in between two little boys there when the angel suddenly asked him to do favours for her.
"Oh sure, Miki. Anything," he smiled at her, placing both his hands on each of the little boys' shoulders, "Save me a space here, guys. Thanks." He stood up to his full height, stretching a bit.
"So today's lesson revolves around safety, eh? Well I'd be glad to teach! ..Especially since we have another man here to play the bad guy..." He glances towards Duo with a certified evil smirk. Oh, he's going to recreate a lot of situations here now that there's a full grown man he can order around.
He was about to walk to the bathroom to fetch the little boy called Sean when Miki almost embarrassed him. Zero swung his head to the angel, his eyes indicating for her to stop it. Thankfully, she did, mid-sentence. Hopefully, the kids won't tease him when he gets back.
Reaching the bathroom, Zero knocked on the door. "Kid? You finished? C'mon, class is starting, won't want you to miss it."
