Kida hopped over a crack in the rock that, while not necessarily threatening to her footing, was just enough to probably make her trip. Considering they were climbing down cliffs in the middle of a storm tripping just didn't sound all that fun.
Glancing back, Kida studied Roy's face again, trying not to be obvious about it. Kida knew she had never met him before, but there was just a little something that was familiar. Perhaps he just had one of those faces. Or she just had one of those minds. "So tell me..." Kida broke the semi-uncomfortable silence that hummed around them in the storm. "Were you one of the students of the infamous Diabolic Domain High?"
Most of the people she met or knew in this area had attended the school if only for a short while. Kida would bet the money in her pocket--soggy though it was--that Roy had attended the school as well. Maybe that's why he looks familiar despite the fact we haven't met. They could have passed each other in halls or on the streets many times without talking.

Kida just reached him when she started to speak. And Roy was grateful about that since he really was blank in his mind. Next to that he was surprised that she brought that up. So he continued to keep going forward, but slowly this time so he could reply and Kida was in reach to hear him.
"Hah, I am surprised that you are asking." Roy replied. How was she getting the idea that he was? Did they already meet as former students back at the Domain? He didn't think so, since he would never forget a face like hers. Also the name didn't ring a bell, and her name wasn't a common one either... and it was also quite a pretty one.
Then he continued. "Well, in fact I was. And because of you asking I assume you have been too?" Roy grabbed onto the rock wall since their wasn't much room for the feet between walking and slipping to death until they passed a small edge. "But I it was only nearly three years for me, not that much.. What about you though?"
After he passed the narrow edge he turned around and offered a Kida a hand. Not that she needed one though, but since Roy stretched it out kind of lazily it didn't make it look like she needed somebody to help her out. Roy was just being him.

"Oh, just making conversation." Kida smirked slightly. "Besides, there's a large portion of this population that went to that school for some period of time. And yeah, me too, about the same amount as you too."
Kida kept working her way down, ignoring Roy's hand but not brushing him off with an irritated comment. She had to learn to give the benefit of the doubt more often in situations like this so that's what she would do. After all, he hadn't said anything to her that would suggest he was pursuing some misogynistic agenda. Wow, apparently training makes me more cooperative.
"Yeah, I wandered around a lot so DD was just one of a few schools I went to. It was the longest that I ever stayed at any of them though. DD was....very interesting." Kida had flash backs of mobs, alien bars, crazy screaming pirates and womanizing lions. Good times. Crazy ass time, but good when you survived them. "I mean where else can you go to school and get frenched by a teacher and then have to suffocate him?"
She realized after a moment that she had said this aloud. Oh great, that sounded wonderful. Now she looked like some loose, insane person.

Kida ignored his hand, Roy expected that much and so he wasn't giving it any further thoughts. He kept following behind her and listened to her story. She was right, even Roy has met a former student of DD he hasn't known before, and apparently Kida was another one.
Roy smirked at her comment. After all she wasn't the only one who has made a bunch of memories during that time. Also he had learned a lot, but he could say that his adventures around the school where definitely much more worth than the classes he attended too.
"You don't say..." He let out at her comment. Roy could only guess who she was talking about, even though he has never met that person called Anthony Reinhart. "But I hope that wasn't one of your favorite experiences, right?" Roy replied with a laugh. "At least I hope, you didn't plan on doing that." You could tell from his grin that Roy was just joking.
He wanted to throw in a memorable anecdote too, but then he realized that most of them were dealing with a certain half vampire. Thats what you get, for chasing after a girl all the time. So he just went with the most obvious. "...The trips around school were usually more worth than the actually lessons in class."

"Blech. Don't even get me started on the guy. He wasn't even my teacher" And she made sure after that incident that he never would be. "He dug the ladies even if they didn't dig him back. Not to mention he liked nicknaming everyone after candy and could read minds. Even probe into them when you didn't want him to." The bastard.
"...Guess I got started on him anyway...." she muttered to herself. In order to not think about Reinhardt, Kida latched on to Roy's next comment. "Yeah. DD was really unique alright. People of every mind and character and origin all concentrated in one place. ....No wonder it almost blew up a couple of times." She snickered.
A bit of wind whipped her wet hair into her face with a smack and Kida was temporarily blinded. Not to mention choking on some of her own hair. "Mmph!" Considering they were strolling down memory lane, it was no surprise that this had her remembering the time a fire-lizard had latched itself onto Kida's face.
Clawing at it and pulling her locks out of the way, Kida kept moving forward. "What's the weirdest thing that ever happened to you at DD?" Kida laughed.
