A woman that has been abused all of her life, now engaged she is learning to fight back, as she won’t allow someone like her biological dad take advantage of her ever again, much less treat her like she was a mistake. The angel knew that you couldn’t just make children and not take care of them, both physically and emotionally. Her father didn’t provide that for her, all he ever did was hurt her so deeply.
Now was her time to fight back. Everyone has a limit, and Mitsuko has reached hers. She didn’t want her emotions to be toyed with, and she didn’t want her biological father to waltz in back into her life and start hurting her again.
He had every opportunity to turn his life around and correct his relationship with Mitsuko. But due to him being ignorant and treating her like she is just someone he can hit, there was no reasoning with him. She wanted to tie up loose ends before she gets married to Zero, and start her life with him.
Self Defense was something that she had to learn to not only protect herself, but her future. If someone like Kouji kept thinking that he has won by emotionally destroying her, then she will surely end up dying because of a broken heart, and the negativity of his presence.
The only way her father will win is if she did die.
She had to learn to stand up to it physically and to prove to herself that she was an empowered woman. Being an angel of light negativity is her poison. It can drain her spirit and make her very weak and sick, and she no longer wanted to subject herself to this, especially when that negativity that her father brought was intentional.
He’ll kill her if she doesn’t take a stand, even though he is in custody that doesn’t mean that everything is solved. She had to do this.
Because she certainly has had enough.
Jean whom she had voiced what she wanted to learn had referred Mitsuko to a local self-defense instructor. Her resolve to fight back was strong and she was determined to learn self-defense and take her life by the reins. Yes her heart did hurt but she had to face her fear and do what was best for her life.
She can’t keep on living in fear, and she wanted to also make her fiancé Zero proud.
This self-defense that she was going to learn will only be used in case of an emergency. On her wedding day she had decided that she will speak to her father one final time, but if he does try to strike her or hurt her emotionally she will fight back, and she will make it known to him that he did emotionally break her down but he didn’t win because she survived, is getting married and discovering how miraculous her life truly is.
Most importantly she had someone that she could share it with.
Mitsuko had asked Zero to come along since he was her support system and her fiancé and with every obstacle and triumph they would see it through together. The angel was dressed appropriately for the occasion and had proper shoes on and not her usual small shoes that she wears.
Since she was most likely going to do a lot of kicking she didn’t want her shoe to fly off her feet. Since it was a little chilly outside she was wearing a light jacket but it was a jacket she had never wore before.
Eve was known to be like a little stylist whenever Mitsuko was going somewhere especially since she was going to be the stylist at Mitsuko’s wedding she wanted practice.
Mitsuko never wore black before, but in training sessions black was usually the most common color. Her shoe had a flat heel at the bottom so it tapped whenever she walked. Her wings weren’t present at this time since they will only get in the way of her lesson.
Each step she took as she and Zero made their way to the training spot she did feel a little nervous, but whenever she looked at Zero’s face she relaxed. She held onto his hand the whole time, even squeezing his hand a few times.
“Zero, please tell me that you believe in me. I need to hear your encouraging words before I do this, it will ease my nerves.”

Zero squeezed the angel's hand gently as they walked together towards their destination. He had given the okay signal when his fiance asked to learn martial arts, mainly because no matter how strong Zero is to protect Miki, he's only human and he's worried that he can't reach her on time to be her shield.
He can see flashes of his distress and panic to the point of insanity when he was unable to get to her on time. Her angelic blood was spilt, and Zero had never known a greater fear than watching his love on the hospital bed, fighting for her life.
It traumatized Zero so deeply that he immediately agrees to Miki's decision to learn martial arts. He could've taught her, but he didn't know the correct way how because the boy learnt to fight on his own for survival, so he has no basics. So here they are, making their way to the training building hand in hand.
His expression is of worry and doubt, but when Miki turned to him and asked for his encouragement, his face immediately softens down to that of gentleness and hopeful. "I believe in you. I always believe in you. I have believe in you since I was 8 and that had never died down once."
He smiled to her, trying to ease her anxiety. "You don't have to worry, Miki. I will be here, right beside you, all the way." The training will be difficult. The first few days is always difficult; sore limbs, instant fatigue, doubt of physical limitations... But he never would list these out to her, at least at the moment when she's feeling jittery.
"Never give up. You can do this."

Mitsuko looked at Zero and her heart rate returned to normal. This was the first step to the rest of her life. Once Zero encouraged her that she can see this self defense through she stopped walking and faced him while holding his hand. She stared into his eyes and she slowly locked foreheads with him. She closed her eyes and just stayed like that for sometime. It was as if she was in a prayer. She was calming herself down internally. She focused on all of her feelings toward Zero, and all of their hopes and dreams.
She knew that Zero was still afraid that he would lose her again, but as she stood in that position with him, she did her best to calm him down as well. She made sure through her prayer; her feelings of love toward him were channeled into his heart as a reminder that no matter what happens her love for him will never fade. They believed in each other just as much as they love each other. Zero was going to be Mitsuko’s husband for the rest of her life.
Soon she opened her eyes and kissed him gently.
“I love you Zero, and while I am nervous you are going to be there, and as long as you are there with me, I’ll have your support. I love you forever and ever. I always will.”
They soon started to walk again and the angel kept glancing at Zero’s ring, the ring that she had returned to him a year ago, his friendship ring. She always loved to look at his ring as that was the start of their friendship, and since she returned it back to him when it was lost he never misplaced it ever again.
“Zero you have never seen a real eagle before have you? Would you like to see one? I know we are almost to the training area but this will be quick I promise. I think this will strengthen our courage since eagles are a symbol of courage.”
The angel was known to bring many miracles to Zero, and this one in particular was no exception, she also believe that once they see this eagle it will renew their spirits and faith in everything that they had to face together. She giggled.
Mitsuko led Zero to where the eagle sat on a tree’s branch. Now people will most likely wonder how an eagle can be in Veyyard, but sometimes it was better not to question and enjoy the magic of it all. Truth was Jean had told Mitsuko all about this eagle that was flying in the skies, but because of how busy Zero had been, there was a chance that he may not have noticed it.
Using that information Mitsuko kept it to herself until the right moment. In a hushed tone after going behind Zero Mitsuko whispered in his ear and then rested her chin on his shoulder.
“Look up. Tell me what do you see? On that lone tree branch?”

Zero smiled once he can see that glitter of confidence in her eyes, now slightly less worried of how she will fare in training. The young bounty hunter obliged once she made him stop and connected foreheads with him, to which he closes his eyes and a wave of tranquility washed over him.
He couldn't tell if it was Miki's sharing her calmness with him or he's the one who triggered that sort of emotion and sendint it to her. Zero held her arms near her shoulders the whole time as they stayed like that, loosely holding her as a sign that he always got her, and will always protect her.
After what happened, he has to. He must. For Miki's sake.
Zero can feel her long eyelashes brushed against his eyelids, indicating that she had opened her eyes. So as he opened his own, he caught her warm breath against his lips and received a gentle mouthful of her lips. Once they parted their kiss, Miki spoke to him of her feelings, and despite that, she trusts him.
"Its normal to be nervous," he shrugged at her with an small smile, "Your muscles will respond twice as quickly when you're nervous, which is a good thing." He ran his hands up and down her arms to comfort her as he said so.
"Plus, I love you. I won't let anything happen to you, so don't worry." He locked his gaze with her, fixing how serious he is with what he said with his steady eyes.
They linked hands again as they walked further down the path together, their steps synchronized as they strutted. Zero turned his attention from the from towards her in surprise when she suddenly mentioned about eagles.
"Um...no. I..have never seen a real eagle." He responded honestly, though he doesn't sport that same confused expression on his face, because he already can tell what's going to happen. Miki has a particular pattern with the things around her, and when she wanted it to happen, it almost always happens.
It's almost like she's able to control the rotation of the Earth itself. Almost. Or miracles.
So as he was being led by her somewhere, Zero knows he will see one. A real life breathing one. He even had his eyes skywards as she pulled his hand, expecting to see one flying overhead. "Are your working on your magic of miracles again?" He asked in a joking manner.
The angel then shifted herself behind him before resting her chin on his shoulder, and whispering for him to look up. Zero did what he was told, and his eyes widened slowly at the sight. A large majestic eagle is perching right up on the highest branch of a leafless tree.
Its form is large and it's focusing on something far away from them. By the size of that bird, Zero can already imagine how broad its wings must be if it spreads them, and how strong its soaring flight is.
"Hot...damn." He found himself whispering that out and marveled on the beauty of the keen-sighted diurnal bird. Just seeing it in its full glory somehow makes Zero swells with pride and strength, and of course, courage.
"That's it." He suddenly said to Miki. "Eagles are now my favorite type of bird."

The angel saw how calm Zero became and she smiled. Her prayers always came true, even if they didn’t get answered instantly eventually her prayer comes true. She always prayed for everyone that she knew, especially Zero. He was so important to her that she always wanted him to be at peace and happy. The angel always smiled when Zero said that he loved her—the three magic words, no matter how simple they sound, conditions the soul and she always wanted those to be the last words spoken at the end of the day, and the start of each morning.
Zero had given so much to her, he was even sweet enough to answer his phone when he was in the middle of the battlefield, there were even times in which the angel can remember where Zero would tell a white lie and say that he wasn’t busy, when really he was in the middle of a shootout. The angel always appreciated hearing Zero’s voice no matter how busy he was. The angel loved showing Zero the special part of life. All you had to do was really look.
There was more to life than just violence and pain and Mitsuko as Zero’s fiancé wanted him to experience what she could give him. Zero always loved eagles but to just see a real one was a mind-blowing experience for him, the next thing the angel was about to do was one of her special surprises. The angel hugged Zero from behind for a while as she rested her chin on his shoulder and she whispered into his ear once more, after he said that eagles are his favorite bird.
“I have one more surprise for you. Like a wedding present. Hold out your arm for me Zero. Almost. Just a little more… A little straighter like you are about to fly. Good. Now stay like that.”
The angel’s gentleness can easily attract animals to her because she would never hurt them. This majestic eagle was no exception and the angel wanted Zero to get up close and personal with his favorite bird. Perhaps like how Milo helps Mitsuko perhaps if Zero and this eagle can develop a trust then maybe just maybe this eagle can assist Zero in his missions, what better help then to have assistance when it comes to airspace?
The eagle and the angel made eye contact, and the eagle eventually acknowledged her.
“Don’t worry my friend, we are not going to hurt you, I just would like my fiancé to meet you. Don’t worry he won’t hurt you. He loves eagles. Ever since he was a little boy he always loved eagles. Will you give us a moment of your time?”
The eagle could feel how genuine Zero’s heart is and how true the angel’s words were and so the eagle flew and perched himself on Zero’s arm. The angel then kissed Zero’s cheek.
“This is my gift to you Zero, I love you.”

The winds had slowly started to change, it wasn’t as calm as it was before and Jean had sensed that Mitsuko was going to reach the climatic point in her life and that was involving her dad. The angel had discussed with her adoptive father, her plans in giving Kouji her final words to Kouji after she marries, but deep down the chief knew that the sooner she has closure the better.
As her adoptive dad he didn’t want it to hang over her or Zero’s head, so because Kouji has been in custody for a long time now, Jean gave him an opportunity to speak with Mitsuko. But not without supervision, because without someone keeping a close eye on the Kouji, he could easily high tail it and be after Mitsuko again.
Jean warned Kouji that if there is any funny business, then he blows his final chance to speak, and see his biological daughter. A year ago Jean was very angry at the situation Mitsuko was in and how she got injured..
Because of the anger that Jean had welling up inside of him, it was hard for the chief to keep his head on straight most days, especially since whenever he sees Mitsuko. he remembers that night that she got injured.
Jean had developed a fatherly bond towards Mitsuko and to see her bleeding like that a year ago hurt his heart. How can a parent be so cruel as to hurt his or her own children? It still baffles him up to this day, at how such a thing can happen but at the same time Mitsuko was growing stronger because of this ordeal.
Mind you Jean is still not ready to forgive Kouji because this is a life that had almost succeeded in taking away, and causing an end result which is murdering Mitsuko.
Though now that an acceptable amount of time has passed Jean made a hard decision to give Kouji a fair opportunity to settle things with Mitsuko in a non violent manner. While she was on her way to her training session with her fiancé Zero, Jean at the end of the day was still a very fair individual and he wanted to see if Kouji could at least be a decent human being for once.
Jean slowly took his time to catch up with Zero and Mitsuko, and once they finished having their tender moment he cleared his throat, while a few other bounty hunters were behind him as a group in keeping Kouji at bay.
“Miki… A moment please…”

The angel paused in her movements, everything about her just ceased as soon as Jean called out to her. She could feel the energy of her father, and his energy was of course still bitter and violent. At the same time Kouji was under the watchful eye of Jean and the other bounty hunters so that things don’t get out of hand. The angel also knew that she had Zero to protect her, but at the same time she knew that this was her own personal battle.
The angel could tell that Jean wanted to give Kouji an opportunity to speak with her, and if they can do it in a civil manner without violence, then it would be easier for her. She will still train of course but she was now curious to see how this will play out, since it has been a year since Kouji has been under their custody. Even the eagle that was perched on Zero’s arm now had this protective aura about him.
Mitsuko didn’t look scared or nervous. She knew what she had to say to her dad, as she was planning their final meeting after she marries. This was now hopefully going to be a final good bye to her abusive father, and for own health she has to distance herself from him since he will never change. She wasn’t going to attack his character, she was going to stand up for herself and tell Kouji everything she wants to tell him. She has absolutely nothing to fear now because she has her fiancé.
Kouji’s eyes and her eyes met after the first time in a year since the incident, but before she began to say what was on her mind there is one word that had passed from her lips, as she clutched on Zero’s hand tightly.
“You…”
Her voice didn’t ‘t sound shaky, it sounded strong, determined and peaceful. She was also ready for any insults that Kouji had for her, but she will not allow it to affect her peace. Sure it will hurt her but she is strong enough now not to be sad for very long, and just realize that at the end of any hard situation she was going to be okay.
Abuse is about power and control and she wasn’t going to allow her biological dad to have power over her anymore. Besides the angel was soon going to be a wife, and a mother to her son and whatever needs settling will be settled.
One thing is for sure though, closure is what the angel needed, the end to her long nightmare.

“Yes, I’m me Mitsuko. Heh did you honestly think you can get rid of me that easily? You are still tied to me by blood you know? So you can never wipe me out of your memory, I’m still the person that is your father. So the rumors were true? You are getting married to the buffoon? Please spare me. Once a buffoon always a buffoon.
How do you know that your marriage will survive? Your mother’s two marriages didn’t survive. Her first marriage her pathetic husband died because he protected heaven, and she didn’t want to be married to me anymore so she ran.”
“So answer me this Mitsuko. Do you think your marriage will survive? Much less have a child? I know you and Zero are planning him. Trust me HQ talks and bullshit walks. Do you really think you are that capable of raising a child? So far all you are proving to me is that you are just a weak little angel that cries easily I should have aimed for your heart that time when you protected the civilians and that little girl.”
“Mitsuko, I think you test my patience on purpose. You just love making me angry so that I have a more reason to hit you, or perhaps kill you. I love you till “DEATH” Mitsuko. See here is the thing, I think you just look for trouble so that your precious Zero can save you, do you think he can save you all the time? He sure didn’t do a fine job in protecting you that night. Such a pity.
There was a lot of hatred in his voice as he verbally attacked Mitsuko’s capablities in raising a family, and being a wife to Zero. What made it worse was that he had attacked her mother’s marriages especially when she is deceased.

“You can insult me all you want, but you will NOT insult my fiancé, my child, or my mother! My mother is dead and you don’t even have the decency to own up to what you did to her! I found out that mom was indeed married to someone prior to you, but I had no idea since I was only a little child at that time. Let me tell you something Zero has a name! And I just said it. He is not buffoon he is Zero. My fiancé.. no… My husband. In truth the wedding is just going to legalize our marriage and be a celebration for us.”
“Zero has always been my husband and always will be. The wedding is just a big celebration and we are having a lot of fun planning it. As for my child I’ll be a great parent, and I will most certainly raise him to not be selfish like you. I’ll teach him to be selfless, to be kind, grateful for what he has and most importantly to be strong. You dad have no place in my life or in your grandson’s life. I forgive you as a person but what you did to me and Jake and my mother is something that I will never stand for.”
“My mom’s marriage to her first husband did thrive but he passed away, her marriage to you was a frigging farce! She deserved to be happy and all you did was make her sad and hurt her by cheating on her, and drinking. The hell you put me through it has a lasting effect on me now that is slowly being healed thanks to Zero. “
“I have a fear that someone is going to hurt my son and take advantage of him, but I will not let that happen. I have Zero with me and we will not let our child get hurt, and IF he does we will be there for him!”
“We already have a responsibility as a family to be there for each other, to love each other, to pick up the pieces if we ever feel broken. But as parents we have to be there for Matt and support him and it’s already begun. We have begun to bond with our son even though he isn’t born yet. Zero and my marriage has already begun to bloom in the first place because we have known each other for our whole life. He knows me.”
Mitsuko put a hand over her pendent that Zero gave her as she spoke her mind to her dad so strongly.
“He feels me when I cry, he knows when I am angry, he knows when I am in distress, he EVEN knows when I am happy, and trust me that his favorite part of my personality. So don’t you dare, say to me that Zero and my marriage won’t last because it will, even in death too. Attacking us doesn’t make you anymore-stronger dad. But there is something I need to call you out on and I will pray later to god for forgiveness but..”
“You are a selfish person. You need to learn to be selfless! I can handle your insults better now but I won’t let you attack my husband or my son! NEVER Matthew! Have you seen what a mama bear does to protect her cubs? It’s not very pretty, and IF you ever hurt my son, you will have to answer to Zero and I.”
Mitsuko was so strong with her words that anyone can tell that she was serious about her words, once she sees an injustice or feels one then she will be that shield right away, and at this moment she was protecting Zero since insults can sometimes can knock down his emotions. So the angel stood there facing her dad, holding onto Zero’s hand tightly and letting out that she knew she had a great strength within her--- as a wife, and as a mother.

Zero hunched his shoulders up a bit when he felt Miki hugging him from behind, an instant smile on his face. "I swear, the number of presents you gave me had reached the amount of infinity now." Chuckling as he joked, Zero did what she asked him to do anyway and raised his arm.
There was a moment of pause and silence, and suddenly the eagle turned to look at them. Zero was all wide-eyed with the transpiring event that left him; the eagle flew towards him, circled him for a while, and perched on his extended arm.
It hurts a bit, since when an eagle lands on your arm, its talons will seriously pierced through your skin if you don't wear an arm cast, but since Zero's pretty much used of getting shot, it didn't even made him wince.
Then he received a kiss from his fiance on his cheek and Zero smiled at that. "..Thanks, Miki." He managed that out, and just when he was about to say that he loves her too as a response, Jean enters his range of view.
Widening his view more, Zero could see a number of bounty hunters behind him, as well as a painfully familiar man in between all those bounty hunters. Zero immediately grabbed hold of Miki's hand with his free one, since the other one was occupied by the eagle, and grasps her hand tightly.
He can feel his insides automatically boiling in such a degree, he wishes he could just jump towards Kouji and gave him another beating that would hurt him a lifetime. Still, he held himself back, because by how secured Miki's hand squeezes his, he knows this is her fight, but that doesn't mean he can't support her.
Sure enough, the second that bastard opened his damn mouth, a ferocious blazing fire exploded in his eyes that his glare could burn down anything. It was so hard for Zero to hold himself back from flicking up his gun and shoot that demon in a man's skin in the mouth.
To his relief and pride, Miki...his Miki, is fighting back. He was so surprised to hear the words coming out of her mouth that he just stared at her. This is probably his first time seeing her being this fierce, because he wasn't there when she was battling her father for that first time to see this side of her.
All through it, he kept his hand squeezing hers very tightly, reminding her that he's still here with her and he will always be no matter what. He was even smiling at her when she defended her mother, him and their son, he was smiling with pride.
"Hey," he called out to Kouji, almost sounding good-naturedly with how he tones his voice, "You've messed with the wrong angel. So back off, for your sake." And he said with a smile, being immensely proud of Miki so much.
"You don't even deserve to be her father," Zero continued, then motioned his head to Jean standing there, "That man does your job way better than you." And with his last words, Zero uses his other arm with the eagle perched on it by swinging it towards Kouji, launching the eagle towards him and it clawed Kouji violently on his head.

“Ah you sure are talking bravely Mitsuko… So you honestly think that you can make it? You can make a life with Zero? A life with a buffoon such as him? You know what I can do to you emotionally right? I can destroy you just like that, since we all know how you get when you break down.
Even Zero has his breakdowns too right? I’m surprised he didn’t break up with you, through his breakdowns… I can break him down just like I did Jake. I can fuck you over just like I did him. Do you honestly think that you all can protect each other?! Maybe your unborn child too… Matthew right? Oh how I’d love to meet my grandson.”
Kouji shook off all the bounty hunters that were keeping him at bay and started to make his way to his daughter. That is of course the eagle started to claw at him.
“SHIT get away from me you stupid bird!”
The eagle was angered and just kept to peck at Kouji because the mystic bird could feel the dangerous vibe that he was giving off and then the eagle went on a lone tree branch nearby to watch over the situation.
“I heard that Zero has broken down many times and you are the only one that can pull him out of it. What does he see in you? You are nothing but a weight on him. Ladies are too emotional especially you. What makes you think that he will forever be committed to you?
I didn’t want you Mitsuko. I felt trapped when you were born of course. But I felt like if I can emotionally break you down and cause you pain, you wouldn’t be strong, and people would see you as pathetic.”

As the angel heard her father’s words to her it of course hurt her heart because no child wants to hear that their parents don’t want them but she fought back, as she protected Zero physically and emotionally. The angel has seen Zero breakdown in the worst possible way but even through that they got through it and continued to stand together. Just like this.
Hand in hand.
“Oh is that right? You think that Zero won’t be happy with me? And that you have the power to screw me over? Zero does have his breakdowns yes but it’s nothing that we can’t handle. Zero loves me he tells me that everyday, he shows it even when he breaks down he shows that he loves me, because he has shed tears. You will not hurt my son is that clear or my husband!”
“You hurt my brother emotionally! HOW can I just stand here and allow you to keep bad mouthing the people that I love?! No more. That’s it! If you didn’t want me then guess what you should do! USE protection! I didn’t ask to be here, you brought me in this world and you refused to take responsibility, for the baby that you created.”
“Here is a quick health lesson for you, when you lie down with someone in bed you KNOW what you are signing up for, there is always a chance for a woman to get pregnant, and it takes two people to make a baby. The baby didn’t choose the parents.
The parents knew what they did that night, and mom took responsibility for me. You know why she laid down with you? Because she loved you. She was married to you and you treated her like shit, and yet even through that she loved you. I was born because I could be, but now as a grown woman I have taken responsibility for my own life and have started to make it what I want it to be. Zero is the only man I’ll ever be with for the rest of my life, and I won’t let you kill me. It’s time for me to face you, but not alone. Jake too.”
“You are scum and I have never seen anyone so wicked as you.”
The angel summoned her bow and arrow once she slowly let go of Zero’s hand, while she didn’t like fighting, she knew that she had to take a final stand for her family, her child, her husband and her marriage.
“I can tell just by reading your energy that your lust for blood is still strong as ever, and you are about to attack me, you want to attack me, so I will defend myself.”
Mitsuko put a hand against Zero’s chest and pushed him gently out of harms way, she could feel her brother Jake near, and she could also feel that this chapter of her life reaching the climatic point. She and Jake will have to join their powers together to put an end to this long nightmare that everyone had endured for so long.
"Zero stay there do you understand me? Stay there with the other bounty hunters, just believe in me okay? Trust me. Milo stay with Zero got it?"
If they don’t face Kouji now then none of them will ever be safe especially Mitsuko and Zero’s son.
Their Mitsuko stood in front of her father and soon after a brief eye contact Kouji he did what she predicted. His lust for blood and murder were strong but she managed to fly out of harms way into the air and shoot her arrows down at him.
“You will never hurt my dear ones ever again! And by the way we don’t use the F word in my presence. It’s vulgar when you use it against your kids. Never curse on your kids!
As the battle began the pendent that Jake had given her started to glow, the angel was now calling out for her brother, especially since there was negative energy threatening her safety as an angel. As an angel she flourished in positivity and negative energy makes her severely weak.
As the negativity from her father got stronger, she called out for her brother, she could feel the negativity drain her but she still tried to withstand it for as long as she could.
JAKE!" When she called out her brother's name her voice echoed. She knew that her brother was close by and they knew as angels what they had to do. Her scream was of urgency, and she knew that Jake could hear her. She was thankful that she had this pendent, and she was glad that she could use it.
But even through her weakness she kept fighting, because of the following:
She was now Zero’s and her brother Jake’s shield both emotionally and physically. She didn’t want either of them to have a breakdown again, and see them both in so much emotional pain. Words can really hurt people, and you have to always be careful with what you say.
The safety of her unborn child and family.
Safeguarding her future without the pain
“You won’t win. I have a lot of people that love me… Zero no matter what happens I love you!

Jake could feel something brewing from a far. however he didn't feel like he was really needed until he felt a strong outburst of energy both dark and light forces. Jake had an uneasy feeling. 'Mitsuko?' he thought to himself. It certainly felt like it. He grumbled as he stood up. Jake then started walking in the direction of the explosion. it definately felt like his sister, which in turns, made him worried.
no more goofing off. Jake pushed off the ground and started flying towards the direction. He had bad vibes and really bad ones.
"JAKE" Was all he heard. 'shit' was his thoughts. Jake then took off landing upon a near building. Watching Mitsuko stand there before the man. The second he saw who that man was. Jake had almost lost it. Rage began to build up inside him. Jake was pissed. Clentching his fist tightly, he pounded the ground/roof. Jake pulled out his sword. This man would pay.
Using his other hand Jake clentched it together forming a fist infront of his face. Small flashes of lightning formed around that fist. Throwing that fist in the direction of Kouji the now lightning bolt was flying at high speed. "DONT YOU DARE LAY A FINGER ON HER" Jake yelled. Clenting his fist once more you could feel the rage coming from his body. Jake wasn't going to let this one go. Jake wasn't going to give up until kouji was dead. After all these years, kouji was going to pay for the hell he put him through.
Jake had spent too long alone because of this man. He grew up without a mother. without a family. Without EVERYTHING.

As the situation gets tensed, Zero's hand is practically twitching to reach for his gun from its holster and just shoot the damn bastard for opening his mouth. Whenever Kouji opened that mouth of his, every single detestable thing escaped from it that Zero has half the mind to just beat the crap out of him right then and there.
Still, he continues to remind himself over and over in his head so he won't snap. He reminds himself that this is Miki's fight, and she chose to fight her father the best she knows how. He's not standing here as her knight now, he's standing here as her supporter.
So as Miki pushes Zero out of the way softly, Zero obliged with very tight fists clenching at his sides. His face is twisted in so much hatred for this monster that is his lover's father, it takes his absolute strength to hold himself back and do what Miki asked him to do.
His jaws are clenched together so tightly, he couldn't even tell her that he does trust her. He does believe in her. He always has ever since they had first met as children. So, as a response, he only nodded at her, and then she prepared herself into battle.
Just staring at her backside as she stood in front of him like that made Zero worried and proud all at the same time. She had grown so strong... Just a year ago, when she first stepped in Veyyard, she cried until she couldn't speak when she was reminded of her father.
Now, she's up on her feet and facing the man who had poisoned her. Gazing at her golden hair, Zero nodded. "Go Miki. You can do it. It all comes to this." Despite his writhing emotions, Zero voiced that out almost calmly to her.
Just then, a figure appeared out of nowhere from the sky. A form of an angel, a man. Miki's brother. Zero instinctively backed away with Jean and the other hunters as the fight begun. This is a personal battle between the angels and their father. He could only hope that this ends quick.

“Ah isn’t it sweet? Two siblings come together to take out their father…. My my I am getting cavities. Tsk tsk Jakey for an angel you sure have a nasty temper…
But then again I guess that temper serves you well. But aren’t angels supposed to be calm? Gentle? Heh I guess your angelic blood line must have skipped a generation!”
Kouji got back up on his feet and focused on Mitsuko since she was his main target. To him Jake was just a fly on the wall, and as such he’ll take care of him later. The best course of action was to take care of the weakest link and to him that was Mitsuko. Little did he know that Mitsuko was stronger, much stronger then people give her credit for most times.
“And aren’t angels supposed to remain pure Mitsuko? Isn’t your virginity something that you hold dear to you? Why lose it? What do you think you’ll gain from being a mother? And losing your purity? I doubt your child will survive when he’s first born.”
Yes Kouji is just that cruel to attack every one of Mitsuko’s dreams just so she won ‘t follow through with them, but then again the angel has changed and the come back she had for him was one that would shock him.
“Let me ask you something Mitsuko… How can you be so sure that Zero won’t leave you just like all the other men did? What makes you trust him? And STAY out of this Jakey, before I swat you like the fly that you are.”
