The angel’s eyes held such a great strength in them as her father tore apart her dreams of becoming a mother, and a wife to Zero. When an abusive individual wants to see their victims fail they tear apart every dream that the victim holds dear.
At the same time however abusive individuals are unhappy with their own lives so they take it out on innocent people, much less breaking down the person’s sense of self worth.
Mitsuko and Jake were very innocent to what had gone on in her own life, but that doesn’t mean that her abusive situation had defined who she was as a person. She was once a victim, and a survivor of abuse.. But now she was a fighter. This angel turns her dreams into goals, and goals into dreams, and to do that she always takes a piece of paper and writes down all that is dear to her, and works hard to make them into a reality.
The angel took out the piece of paper that had all of her dreams from a year ago, and almost all of them were crossed out by now. She had Zero to help her make these dreams come true. He is her rock, her love of her life, and her best friend. She knows that Zero will never ever leave her; he will always stand by her, support her, and love her for all eternity. As soon as her father was done with his so-called emotional torment, she began to sing, as she held the piece of paper in her hand.
Some may even consider this song as her ending theme to her long emotional chapter, all she needed everyone that supported her and loved her to keep their hearts open and listen. THIS was her come back to her father’s hurtful words, and in a way this was her way of forgiving her father as a person.
Oh twinkling stars above shine for all eternity Please grant a pardon to everything in this uncertain world
Reach for the distant skies, the bonds of tomorrow This unwavering light growing from my hands I will believe that will become the proof of my hope
I’ll pray forever.
Oh faint crescent moon turn full to the warmth Please surround and ease the pain of broken promises
If shattered dreams are blown by the wind will we ever be able to find them again?
Reach beyond the night the bonds to tomorrow The strength was born from the depth of transience I am holding onto what will become the sign that will lead me
Found my destiny. (This case her destiny is Zero}
Illuminate these thoughts deeply the bonds to tomorrow The brilliance coming from the light breaking at the distance I’m holding onto what will become the sign that will lead me
Found my destiny
Reach for the distant skies the bonds of tomorrow This unwavering light growing from my hands I believe will become the proof of my hope I’ll pray forever I’m holding onto it
Found my destiny.
As she sang her song the heavens shone down their light and once her song ended, she answered her father to all the questions he asked her.
“First of all, I am not just Mitsuko your daughter, I will have my married name soon, the name that I will carry with pride and dignity and respect for the rest of my life. You may have hurt jake and myself, and even Zero too but no more. Jake and I have to face you. Your lust for my blood is going to be your sin, I can tell you that much. I cannot judge you… But god will.”
“My beliefs are my own and I have kept my purity for 23 years because I respect myself and believe in marriage. A marriage is a union between two people that love each other very much and what you had with mom wasn’t real. I don’t think you know what love is. Sometimes the definition of love can’t be expressed by words… but what you feel in here.”
The angel put a hand over now fast beating heart.
“Bringing our son into this world will be one of the most precious moments of our lives, and yes I will tell you that I am attracted to Zero physically… But I am also emotionally and spiritually tied to him. He may have an ego the size of a mountain sometimes but I love him with all my heart and soul. Because of our love our son will be well. Our son will be strong, kind.. and IF he has a health problem his parents will be his strength.”
“You can shake me, scare me, insult me, but you won’t ever break me again. I trust Zero with my life, and he won’t ever break that trust…”
The angel went to her brother and held onto his hand.
“I need you to calm down Jake. One wrong move and the ground we are standing on can collapse from underneath us. I understand that you are angry but DON’T let your anger get the better of you….”
In all truth however the ground giving away on them is the least of her worries. Her real worry is Jake's condition, if his emotions get the better of him he can turn into a fallen angel, but iF that process does begin to happen Mitsuko is here to stop it.

Jake, very annoyed and aggravated at this moment. "Shut your face!" Jake yelled at the top of his lungs. Jake lunged towards Kouji. The rage had built up inside of Jake. Just the very sight of this man had the ability to make Jake lose it. Jake pulled out his sword ready to fight. When Jake got close enough, he swung his sword. The sparks of lightning flashing around his hand was now starting to extend. Starting at his arm, to his shoulders to his wings. As each passing second went by Jake became more angered. The more angered the more the lightning started to flash around his whole body. "You know I grew up without a family because of you, I grew up all alone because you destroyed everything I had. And if you didn't destroy it, you ripped it away from me. So forgive me if i am a little bitter. But you will never understand what you put me through!" Jake yelled.
Jake clenched his fist once more. Letting out a yell and he started charging at his once step dad. Swinging his fist with every ounce of strenght he had. The sparks even flew off of his fist and sprung out. Its not like Kouji really cared about what Jake was saying. But Jake had to say it. Get it off of his chest more or less. Jake had been left high and dry, because of this side of the family, many times. Jake had grown very bitter and very angry. His mother truely would be ashamed.
There was no holding back now though. Why hold back? So he could win? so he could live and still terrorize his sister. No more it ends right here right now. Jake swinging his sword once more the shock building up, circulating through his veins, all over his body even crawling up his sword. "THUNDER WAVE!" He yelled swinging his sword, flinging the lightning towards Kouji.

The lightening wave hit Kouji and he was knocked down off of his feet. He wasn’t invincible so he ended up getting shocked and he started to bleed a bit, however he got back on his feet and started to sword fight with Jake. They were both sword users so everyone that was here witnessing this battle could hear both of their swords clashing.
“Oh I believe I know EXACTLY what hell I put you through Jakey afterall I was the one that caused it yes? How could you possibly say that I don’t know what I put you through? I never raised a hand on you but I know that I can use your own emotions against you and that little angel brat over there singing her songs!”
“And because of that both of you are struggling right? By the way Mitsuko look at you, your singing away keeping a hold of your precious dreams… and yet due to the negative energy that is around you due to my battle with Jakey here, you can’t even breathe can you? Face it Mitsuko if one of us has to die it isn’t going to be me.”
“Here is some advice Mitsuko…” As Kouji was sword fighting with Jake and bleeding in the process, he managed to whisper in Mitsuko’s ear.
“Never let the enemies know your weakness… They can use it against you in a snap, see that everyone? The negative energy that is affecting whom you call Miki is choking her and yet she is trying so hard to keep her positivity up for her future. Who thinks she can make it?”
“Easy Jakey no need to get all hasty… I’ll get back to you in a minute…”
Kouji eyed each of the bounty hunters and when he finally stared at Zero, he could see that Zero wanted to go at him too. He saw in his daughter’s fiance’s eyes that he was truly holding himself back from snapping, but he knew that Zero would snap if anything should happen to his beloved Mitsuko.
“ Well well the spikey haired buffoon is showing restraint for once eh? Surprising. I thought you would be a raging bull by now Zero. Coming at me, beating me up…. I can taunt you just like I did Jakey…”
“I got Mitsuko where I want her once, you remember when she was in the hospital? She almost was wiped off of the face of the earth, where you wouldn’t see her again…”
Before Kouji could continue further in tormenting Zero there was a sudden glow coming from Mitsuko.
What Kouji didn’t know was that while Mitsuko was struggling to breathe, as negative energy and situations is her great weakness, the angel was keeping a hold of hers and Zero’s love strong to combat her father. That love that Zero and her shared was so strong and pure that it gave her an upgrade in her bow and arrow, as well as a new power.

The angel was now glowing, and she looked so pure and so beautiful. That beauty that was making her glow was the beauty that existed in her heart. As she heard her father try to torment Zero, Mitsuko got an upgrade to her bow and arrow and then she aimed it at her father.
Mitsuko pulled back the bow and arrow at the same time and when she released the arrow, the arrow began to glow in the air and formed into a dove as it struck her dad, in order to put a stop to his torment on Zero. Her powers were weak so the most it would do is hurt her dad a bit but not be fatal to him since she wasn’t a killer. Once the arrow struck Kouji the angel said the following:
[When the angel first shoots the arrow and the bird takes it shape.]
“Don’t even think about harming Zero emotionally or physically for that matter. Don’t you dare touch a hair on his head or play around with the emotions in his heart. Don’t touch my babe I swear to you don’t touch my babe! He has been through enough because of people like you! I won’t let you harm him! Zero is healing and I WON’T allow you to breach that healing process!”
Now Mitsuko’s protectiveness over Zero was show in a direct manner. The angel was always protective of Zero mind you but she wasn’t direct about it, her protectiveness was always subtle.
If anything it was always Zero’s protectiveness over Mitsuko that was shown in a very direct manner. Though now seeing that Zero could be potentially is put in harms way, she was letting it known to her abusive father to NOT torture Zero. So this will most likely shock Zero to see Mitsuko’s protectiveness full blown in real time.
As the angel spoke you could tell that there was something choking her and what was choking her was the negative energy.
“Zero is precious to me, he has helped me put together the pieces of my heart and now it is time for you to know that I am protective over him and my future son! I struck that arrow at you because you were just inches away of tormenting Zero, even more and I won’t let you do it!”
The angel stepped in front of Zero protecting him now.
“I will lower my bow only if you promise me not to touch him, or my brother, or my HQ family. We can all settle this civilly there is hope and forgiveness even for you if you choose to take it dad. Now is your chance…”
“There is no need for anymore violence, but you will not get this chance again dad. YOU HAVE ONE chance, to turn your life around!”
Mitsuko tried to reason with Kouji before this battle becomes too dangerous, but deep inside she knew that Kouji was not even listening to her too.

In the background one of the bounty hunters had voiced her concern to the chief Jean. That bounty hunter that voiced such concern was Eve. Eve had known Mitsuko for a whole year now and she had grown to love her very much and had enjoyed the time they spent together as two strong women. While Hunter was the one that watched over Zero, Eve was the one that watched over Mitsuko.
As she watched the battle go on between the angels vs their father, Eve turned to the chief and said:
“This looks bad Jean! Can’t we do anything to help or are we all going to be sitting ducks? Miki is fighting her hardest as well as her brother Jake… But Miki is the most calm in this situation, while Jake is letting loose like a volcano that has just erupted. There must be something we can do Jean! I know we are just humans but---“

Jean then interrupted her with a motion of his hand.
“Eve as much as I want to step in right now and intervene, and believe me I did earlier when I first brought Kouji here, I realized that this is something for Miki and Jake to settle. Sometimes there are situations where people from the outside cannot touch. This doesn’t mean we don’t care about the innocent people involved it just means that we cannot touch it due to circumstances. Being a human or an angel has nothing to do with it.”
“I came here with the intention of giving Kouji a chance because it has been a whole year now since Miki was stabbed by him, and he was taken into our custody, I thought that after a year in jail he would have had the time he needed to sit down and think about what he had done to Miki that night. But it turns out I was wrong.
There are people that just won’t change no matter how many chances you give them. I’m sorry but I haven’t forgave Kouji for what he did to Miki, I am having a hard time in doing so… “
Usually Jean forgives easily but in this situation he just couldn’t. He asks himself this question everyday: How can a father harm their own child?.. That question still boggles the chief’s mind because in his point of view there is no right answer to this question.
A child is innocent, and doesn’t deserve to be mistreated. Zero, Mitsuko, and Jake were all innocent in their abusive situations, and they didn’t deserve what had happened to them.
“Things happen for a reason Eve and I believe this was the reason why Kouji is still alive. So that the angels can face their father that had done them so much harm, but Kouji just ended up in wanting to attack Mitsuko and so said, so done. Zero even wants to step in but even he knows that he can’t. “
Kouji started this by attacking Mitsuko verbally, and Miki was hoping that they could settle this peacefully. Even right now she is still trying, but… Kouji is looking at her like she is a bug that needs to be killed quickly.”
“But I have something to say to Kouji and I will say it right now.”
Jean spoke up after that conversation with Eve.
“Kouji, I feel sorry for you. I feel sorry that you are miserable with your own life and you feel like taking it out on your own innocent children. I thank you though for at least signing over your fatherly rights to Mitsuko.
See? Look I have the papers right here! The reason why I am not interfering with this situation is because Mitsuko needs her moment to face you before she gets married. She is a big girl now and she is strong enough to protect herself. But we will support her, and remember this is your loss not hers. YOU are missing out on a beautiful person. But there are others that enjoy her presence.”
"One person's loss is usually someone else's gain..."

“You rats talk too much… So what if you are her new father legally Jean? What the hell does that have to do with me? Mitsuko is already physically weak and you know it. I am the demon in her life and the more she worries about what I will do to her next, the sicker she gets…” Kouji took a hand quickly touched the golden strands of her hair and whispered to her.
“Though that isn’t the only thing that is making you sick Mitsuko. Remember that night where you fell through that window? The stab would did a number on you because of what was on my sword.. Some would say that it is overkill, and yet here you are staring at me in the face, despite how sick you feel. Some days you feel perfectly fine, other days are hell on earth for you. Not like you would make the buffoon worry.”
Kpuji shot a glare at everyone that was staring at him now, because of how he still stood on his feet even after getting a beating from Jake. He then pulled Mitsuko into a hugging position, and of course he had this creepy look that could be seen in his eyes. An evilness that resides only in him. “You know what a heart beat sounds like when a person is alive… but it has no sound when it stops…”
“Now what do you have to say to that?”

“I know what you did, but with every illness that I endure I have Zero with me. I don’t have to go through my sickness all by myself. One thing you have to understand is that when a child is under the parents care, it is the parent’s responsibility to make sure their child is healthy and teach them ways to be healthy. Not make them sick on purpose. Children are not born with instruction manuals and the parents are there to teach, to love, to guide, and overall be there for their children.”
“While I am still alive I will live my life to the best that I can manage. Yes being sick slows me down greatly, but I won’t give up. I still will be a mother to my son, and take care of myself when I am pregnant. I’ll do all the things that I can for my child, and makes sure he survives. Not to say that I don’t take care of myself now, but I am prone to many things and I can pick up illnesses very quickly. Some people aren’t blessed with strong immune systems, and some have been sick all their life.”
“Sometimes though the events in our life can make our illnesses much worse. You are a person that truly messes with my heart and it affects my body. What people can’t see I feel in the deepest parts of my heart. But I still smile and I have faith that I will live a long life, and I will be married to Zero for eternity. Even if heaven forbid I die before him, I know he wouldn’t break his vows to me. He keeps every promise, no matter how long it takes for that promise to be fulfilled he makes his promises to me with love and adoration.”
“Sure we make mistakes now and again, but we forgive. Zero and I may not agree on everything, and we may have our ‘Light’ fights. But our love is stronger then any of our other emotions that may come out when we do disagree. That love helps us to learn from each disagreement, and reminds us that we don’t exist to hurt each other. This is not our intent. We exist to be there and to love each other. And guess what dad? We have grown from everything that we have been through.”
Mitsuko could feel a lump in her throat as she said the next part. She has such strength to keep speaking now even after grazing her father with her arrow.
“I don’t know how long I will live for, I probably won’t make it to my early 70’s because of what has happened to me over the years, and what you have done, but Zero knows that I love him with my whole heart. He’s my treasure. He knows what I like, what bothers me; he knows my strengths and my weaknesses, my hopes and my dreams…. While I am his angel, Zero is mine.”
“ I pity you dad. You don’t know love or compassion… and I do apologize for grazing your arm, but I am protective over the ones I love. My body that my soul is in isn’t a healthy one, and yes it is in a lot of pain, but my heart and my spirit is what protects others…. While I am still alive, I will do what I can to help others and make a person’s life just a little bit brighter… I wish though you can take responsibility for what you did to me and Jake.. and messing with Zero’s head when he first met you…”

Jake stood back a moment. Michi had shot an arrow that almost hit him because he was so close. She was talking to Kouji, so he stopped. He let her say her peace. And when he wouldn't listen. Jake's fuse only grew shorter. Gripping his sword, He restraint himself. He was trying so hard to just keep himself under control. The more and more he spoke the more Jake, felt his anger building. For michi's sake, He was keeping calm on the outside, enraged on the inside. An exploding volcano, meeting a tornado. Thats what this was. Michi represented to innocent people who ever got involved.
Jake did very well in keeping calm... until he started touching Mitsuko. Lighting now sparking off of his body. Aiming towards Kouji, blinded by rage and hate. This man was not worth any words. Why people kept talking was beyond Jake. Jake was so enraged that the sky was now turning gray with clouds and loud thunders roaring and it was creeping closer. Restraint was no longer a word in Jake vocab. "Don't you dare TOUCH HER!!!" Jake yelled as he was now charging swinging his fist at kouji, after that came a kick, bringing his body around once more swinging his sword at kouji. Random strikes of lightning hitting the ground around everyone. "I'VE HAD IT WITH YOU!!!!" Jake yelled swinging his sword once more.

Kouji held Mitsuko in that hugging position and as he spoke to her, his words sent a chill down her spine. When her father stabbed her while she was protecting an innocent her heart did stop for 3 minutes when she was in the hospital.
But it didn’t stop permanently like Kouji wanted. Her heart started to beat again thanks to her mother’s help. The only sound that was heard when she was gone for three minutes, was her heart monitor. That long never ending beep. That beep indicated that she was dead for a short while due to blood loss.
On a spiritual level though, she was speaking with her mother that time and her mother had told her that it wasn’t her time to go, but it was her time to face her father. To take a stand against him before her child is born, and before she and Zero married. It was important to tie up loose ends before she becomes a wife to one of the well known bounty hunters, and to her best friend.
Kouji knows how much trauma he put his children through. He’s a grown ass man how could he not know?
The easiest way for him to try and take the attention away from himself was to play the victim, when really the people that he victimized was Mitsuko’s mother, Mitsuko, and Jake. The emotional torment he put them through was something that was considered a deep wound. It will take many years for them to fully heal but at least when this is all over, there will be a sense of peace.
Kouji in the past has made up a lot of rumors of how Mitsuko was facing her death and because of that it had caused Mitsuko and Jake to be apart. Kouji was the main source of their heartache, but he was also the source of what made them strong. Unfortunately parts of Kouji’s various rumors had came true.
Mitsuko was ill because of him, so much emotional and physical abuse can make an individual very sick, and because of the angel’s gentle nature she was super sensitive to her own emotions as well as the emotions of others. Kouji had gotten some parts of his ill wish towards his daughter. Mitsuko to suffer. But again through her own pain she rose above and continued on living her life.
This is why the angel doesn’t take it lightly whenever Zero gets hurt, and she gets upset with him if he’s careless. Because one minute the person you love can be right there next to you, and the next they could be fighting for their own life. Kouji knew all of this. After all he has been in jail for the last year, so he has heard about whenever Mitsuko and Zero disagreed. Kouji stands for corruption. He is the symbol for it.
And he wanted nothing more but to have chaos and confusion in his daughter’s life.
He held his daughter with one arm and he managed to some how get a hold of Mitsuko’s bounty hunter gun. The gun she kept with her for good luck. Even though she worked with Zero for a short while, there were things she wanted to keep, as a memory. A memory of her always being by Zero’s side. A memory of never letting him down. A memory of their bond.
But Kouji took the gun that she had tucked away, and there was a silent shot once he pulled the trigger.
SHOT
Mitsuko was shot by her own father. This final act of violence was now going to be the trigger for Jake and Mitsuko to stand together.
Kouji saw the angel’s blood trickle down from her body and he did taunt her.
Before he could continue, Jake had attacked him with his sword. By now Kouji’s clothes were torn, and he was critically injured. There was blood everywhere on the ground, now more then ever since Mitsuko’s blood had met her father’s. You could clearly see the difference between the two blood types. Mitsuko had a blood of an angel and this also means that she could give blood to anyone that ever needed it.
Kouji’s blood was darker and hellish looking. It was as if he was a demon in human skin, especially since he had a darkness in his heart.
“Heh… is that all you got Jakey? What oh what would your father say to you right now? Do you miss him? I am sure you do. He was your mother’s true love after all. And your sister has been shot… what oh what will you do now? SEE THAT HEAVENS…. I have just shot one of your most sweetest of angels…. Will you condemn me? Judge me? And send me to hell?!”
Kouji was now losing it. But what he didn’t know was that Mitsuko’s own guardian angels and her mom, and her step dad were going to intervene for this final act.
His acts of violence towards his children had brought out the demon side of him out even more, There was a shade of black sorrounding him now, but what overpowers darkness? Light.

Jean sensed that Mitsuko had gotten shot because of her father’s sneakiness in pulling her into that hug. NOW he was intervening since it was an emergency and now the chief had teamed up with Mitsuko’s older brother. Jean had advised the other bounty hunters to stay out of this, and since he was Mitsuko’s adoptive dad he has a right to intervene when things weren’t turning around.
He had watched on the sidelines out of respect for Jake and Miki to solve their family issues, but Miki getting shot was the last straw.
And Jean exploded, and when he exploded cuss words flew left right and center. Jean didn’t see any warning signs with the hug until he sensed that gun shot. This is when he knew what Kouji was capable of.
“You fucking bastard, I just want to punch you in the face! HOW dare you shoot Miki HOW DARE YOU?! You played on her…. And on us as bounty hunters… “
"This is why these situations are so unpredictable and dangerous because we don’t see any clues until it’s too late! Miki! It’s best not for you to move okay?”
Jean pointed his rifle at Kouji as he made his way over to Mitsuko, and he kneeled down beside her and took a look at where the hole was where she got shot. Kouji was that unpredictable of a character that it could be hard to tell what his next move would be. As Jean was about to help Mitsuko the guardian angels and her mother showed up.
These angels surrounded Mitsuko protectively and her mother had embraced her Mitsuko getting injured was to be expected since this was a battle and she had to defend everything she loved with a passion. Her brother, fiancé, son, her whole family.. Mitsuko had to defend them. Jean saw all these angels come and had begun assisting Mitsukos’ mother in helping her daughter rise on her feet and for her to be strong.
“Miki?”

When Mitsuko was shot, she didn’t feel any pain. It was as if her fellow angels came down from heaven to soothe her, to tell her that she was going to be okay, and that her father will not succeed in murdering her. But Mitsuko did feel lightheaded and a warmth of energy sorround her in an instant. Even though she was bleeding, the angel rose to her feet once she got a hold of Jake’s hand and spoke up to her dad once more.
“You…. Shot me. I congratulate you for letting it out of your system, but I will never submit to you, the only way I will die permanently is if my body can’t take anymore pain and that the other angels need me to come home. But I have something left to do here, and that is to live my dreams. My body has been through a lot but you have just made my spirit stronger. I have a purpose in life. And that is being that friend to others, help them find their way. To ease their fears, to let them know that they aren’t alone…”
“My brother Jake was alone for the longest time, but we never resented each other. I love my brother, I always have. He has the temper of a volcano but I love him. I love my other brother too but there is a line that I have now drawn, and I need to do what is best for my child and for my marriage. Kankorou always told me that he was going to protect me and be there… but sadly he chose not to keep his promise. I don’t hate him though. I don’t hate anyone…”
As the angel stood up to her father before the final battle concludes she cried. Her tears were like rain drops falling from her blue eyes. All of Mitsuko tears that she shed were with reason.
“My tears may hold no meaning for you, but this is what we call emotion. What we call heart. I know loss very well… but I also know the feeling of having everything I could want. I know when I love someone and it’s never a lie. I know both sides to what people feel, but if I died at anytime like you wanted… wouldn’t your conscience eat you up? Wouldn’t it bother you that you took your daughter’s life? Or are you that cold hearted?”
“You… don’t care about me… but others love me so very much. They keep me going… Pretty soon my son will be here, and then when I blink he’ll be grown and Zero and I will have our flower shop…
You know where I want to die? In my garden when I am old… my garden is my place of comfort. Flowers are living things.. And when you talk to them they thrive more… Some people may not like that I have flowers everywhere but they are a part of my own life. "
“The point is… I won’t die in the battlefield. I will die in peace, comfort and love when I am old. please know that I never hated you and I do forgive you. I shall not disrespect you in death. Because I am not a person like that. You may have mistreated me but I don’t hate you, or intend to make your life miserable any longer. I am sorry, that I didn’t give you joy, I am sorry that you didn’t love me. But it’s all right. I will love my son and I will take heart in raising him. I want something different for my child.
And that is him knowing what love is. What a dad is. And Zero is going to be a great dad.”
Mitsuko ended up crying more. “ I don’t know why you hate me so much, but all I can do is apologize for burdening you. I never want to be a burden in someone’s life. But I am sorry I was yours.””

Jake watched with his own eyes, his sister being shot. "MITSUKO!!!!!!" He yelled as he ran to her side. Dropping his sword the second he got to her side. Suddenly a light pierced through the clouds. A silver lining you could say. Mitsuko began to rise. 'Mom?' His thoughts were running wild. His heart was racing. Pounding like the sound of lighting. Mitsuko then started to give him a speech. Jake stood with his back towards Kouji. When Mitsuko was done he placed a hand on her face. wiping the tears off her face. Kissing her on the forehead. "Hey... It will be alright" He whispered to his baby sister. Grabbing his sword he turned towards Kouji.
"You've fucked with her for the LAST FUCKING TIME MAN" Words did not mean a thing to kouji. So Jake didn't waste his breath. Jake charged at Kouji with even more rage and fury than before. All his life was different because of him. Because this guy, Jake was unable to live a normal life. It was robbed from him the second he came into his family. Jake had never liked Kouji. Not at all. There was something about this man that reeked evil and corrupt even to a 5 year old child. But Jake was always unsure of this man. And for the sake of his mother he kept quiet.
Lightning was now spouting everywhere sparking off of Jake's body. More strikes came for the sky. The second Jake had come more in reach, Jake threw his fist at Kouji's face. Dropping his sword he threw his other fist into Kouji's face. Jake Threw one high kick at kouji giving him the grace period to pick his sword back up. Swinging it, back and forth. Jake was is very close range of combat. "AHHHHH DIE!!!" Jake yelled. Thrusting his sword through Kouji's body where his heart would've been. Jake felt no remorse. As he stared the man directly in the face.
Blood was squirting down the sword, and slightly on to Jake. But Jake did not care. To Jake it only meant one thing. "You listen here Kouji. I"ve about had it with your shit." Jake said as he began to twist the sword inside of Kouji's body. "And this is your last god damn warning. If I EVER see your face again. I will find out what brought you back and kill you again. Only guess what. It wont end there. I'll bright you to life and kill you over and over and over and over again. And that was a sincere promis from Jake to Kouji. Jake did not want to see his face ever again.
Jake pulled his bloodied sword out of Kouji's body. As Jake watched the body fall to the ground. Jake was still not done. "Run Kouji.... He started to say. There was a second of scilence before he spoke again "Run, and never return" Jake said to the quivering body that was laying on the ground. Jake took his sword one more time swung it at the base of his neck. Slicing the head off. The exhausted angel who no longer felt the need to fight then threw his sword to the ground. Not a lick of training and yet he's able to use the sword like it was nothing. Jake fell to his knees, as his body felt so heavy. It was almost so sureal. Jake only couldn't believe the sight in his eyes.
Jake looked up to the sky the lighting had stopped but there was still clouds. Jake closed his eyes taking it all in. Taking a deep breath of solitude you could say. Never had the earth been so quiet to him. 'Thank you mom... dad... I know you have something to do with that' He then looked down to the ground. And he started to notice a few rain drops hitting the ground it wasn't long before it now started raining... But Jake did not move he sat there on his knees starring at the body before him.
(Just on a side note I did have permission to Kill off Kouji by Mitsuko haha ^^)

“Jake, my dear son. The nightmare is over, there is no more need to have blood on your sword any longer, instead use your power to defend. Your sister will always be your sister and she will always need your aid and counsel now. You are a lot older then her and I am sure she will appreciate having you in her life again. What has happened, cannot be changed but you can make her years of being an adult great.”
A voice could be heard as he came out of heaven’s light. He was a beautiful archangel and he was Jake’s father. Jake’s father had died in protecting heaven from a hellish threat a long time ago, but now he was here before his son, and step daughter. Even though Jake’s mom had remarried after he had passed away, there was no doubt in this archangel’s mind that they were still married.
Jake and Mitsuko’s mother was his heart after all, but now the souls were free to be together.
“Slowly rise to your feet and embrace a new way of life now. I am going to introduce myself to your sister.” The kindhearted angel made his way to Mitsuko and he placed a hand on her head. Mitsuko saw how great of an angel he is that she bowed to him out of respect.
“Now now no need for bowing dear one. Mitsuko.. Your name literally translates to child of light, you truly do have a bright light in your heart. And you truly have done such wonderful things for the people around you. You are well on your way, and I can tell you that you will be a wonderful mother and a wonderful wife. You are like the princess of angels… and you harbor no malice towards anyone.”

“But I can’t help but to bow down at you sir… I… never met my brother’s father before, I only know what you did for heaven in defending it. How you died with honor. I.. apologize on behalf of my father for any pain that he has caused you and my mother. . I do know how much you love each other…
This is one example of being remarried that doesn’t turn out so well.. Your heart has always belonged to her… I know this from experience with Zero and myself. Our heart is one. I.. just feel sad. My father had to die, he was causing too much havoc but I respect the dead.. He needs a proper burial. Even if I have to do it alone.”
Mitsuko had felt a weight lift off of her shoulders and she saw Kouji’s body and after one look she closed her eyes and with the help of her guardian angels they buried Kouji in the ground and the angel put flowers on top of it. She then cried to release herself and anything that was hurting her for the longest time.
“ I wouldn’t allow anyone to hurt my child… This is why you died. You wouldn’t have stopped until you killed me, or my son. You need to face judgment now, and I hope no other father hurts his child like how you have my heart. My child is free now. To be born in environment where it’s safe for him. Goodbye.”
The angel went to Jake and gave him a hug.
“It’s over Jake, now we are free to live. I am free now to have anything that I could ever wish for. I know I will have to take care of my health but that’s okay, I have support with this. I won’t leave you behind Jake, you are free to come see me anytime you wish, I am never far away. If you need a place to stay for now you can live with me at the Inn. I work there as a nurse. You have a place to belong to.”
As the two angels hugged, Jake and Mitsuko’s mother reunited with Jake’s father and the two souls that were apart for so long reunited and went to heaven. A place where they can be in peace where there is no pain at all. A long fight was won, and a heartbreaking chapter ended. The angel cried as she hugged her brother, and the bounty hunters in the background could only watch.
Jean looked over at Zero and nodded at him. That nod was to remind Zero to keep a sympathetic ear open for Mitsuko if she ever needed to talk. After all Kouji did die right before her eyes and it may take a while for the image to disappear from her mind. Sympathy and kindness is what Mitsuko needs right now.
