With just a light cloak covering her, Milly rushed into the nearest diner in search of warmth. She smiled to herself and let out a slight sigh once the warmth finally hit her. Her face instantly relaxed as she stood under a heated area, trying to defrost and waiting to be seated. After realizing that no one seats you at this diner, she sheepishly walked down a row of tables to find a nice comfy booth.
She undid the cloak and and tossed it in the corner of the booth seat as she sat down. She picked up the menu that was laying on the table and started flipping through it, trying to find something interesting to try. There wasn't much that she could see that largely appealed to her, but, new place new foods right? So she had to try something. She continued to scan the menu, debating between a few of the more interesting sounding dishes, completely lost in her own world.

It's official, snow does NOT go well with either his newly-brought track pants nor the shoes. Duo needs boots to travel across this cruel excuse of an arctic climate, he dare bet the temperature is way below 0 degrees now.
Duo fares well with running through leveled paths, snow is fine, since he just needed to lift his knees higher, that's all. But up the hills with the snow swallowing your feet till you can't even see your own shoes is too much for the young man. That is, when he finally sees on what seems to be a diner in his range of view.
"THANK YOU CALI!! For building this place!!!" A braided man with snow covering his shoulders and top of head hollered out the second he slammed the door open, very loudly. He made sure he read the faint lights of the building name before entering to state his eternal thankfulness to the owner.
After a long inhale, Duo heaved out a loud raspy sigh before shedding the snow off of him at the doorway, smiling as he does so, happy indeed to have found a place to warm himself up. Pulling off the snow-cap covering his precious hair, the young man then marched his way to the tables.
He didn't particularly hunt for an empty table per say, merely just looking for a table with only one person occupying it. Duo was never good sitting alone, anyway. It doesn't take long for him to notice a young lady on a booth alone, so with a steady gait, he casually settles himself on the seat beside her, places his snow cap on the table, and beamed brightly at the girl.
"Yo!"

There was not a head in the restaurant, Milly noted, that didn't turn to look at the guy who just barged in with a rather loud voice. When he had stopped speaking and began dusting the snow off himself, Milly turned back to the menu she held. 'Weird...' She thought to herself as she debated between having fries or a vegetable side dish with the chicken sandwich.
When this strange person then sat next to her, Milly sat back and stared at him with her eyes a bit wide. She had grown up surrounded by men but was always a bit uncomfortable around men she didn't know. "U...ummm... What are you doing?" She asked, trying to calm her voice from the surprise and slight hint of awkward.

"Hmmmmn...?" Duo distractedly hummed as he casually took a glance of the menu in the woman's possession, craning his neck closer towards her as he skimmed through the list of available dishes.
"What do you mean what am I doing, I'm choosing what to eat." The way he speaks also sounded a bit distrait, and after a while, he finally pulled himself back to his normal sitting posture then smiled at the young lady. "Thanks for the menu. WAITER~!!!"
His arm swooshed up high and straight as he mirthfully called the server, and fortunately, one is just passing by right beside him with a notebook and a pen. "Let's see, I'll have both the fries and the vegetable side dish with the chicken sandwich, please! And a hot cup of mint tea, to go with it."
He then swings his head towards Milly, his long braid gracefully follows with the motion. "Well miss, what would you like to have?" His smile is somewhat peculiar, somehow in between angelic and demonic in some way. "My treat!"

As the guy leaned closer to her to look at her menu, Milly leaned away from him, sort of pushing the menu towards him a bit, feeling rather uncomfortable about this sudden closeness with a complete stranger. She looked at him with a confused and nervous look, a bit frightened at how he could act as if she was a good friend of his when he didn't even know her. The discomfort of being so close to a strange man also made her cheeks begin to flush a light pink.
She jumped slightly at the sound of his voice calling the waiter and arm shooting up. She stared at him in slight shock as he ordered exactly what she had wanted to order for herself. When he turned to ask her what she wanted, her lips just parted slightly as she stared, bewildered, at this strange person. "Uh...t...the same..." she uttered, trying to keep composed instead of flipping out on him. There was a strange hint of something in his smile, she thought, and she wasn't sure whether or not she should trust it.

Duo just watched the waiter scribbling down their orders with a smile and only turns his attention the woman beside him after the said waiter left. His smile was still kept constant when he swings his head towards Milly, and after a moment of staring at her, he chuckled.
"Please don't look at me like that," the lad beamed a toothy grin at her, "Strangers has feelings too, you know?" He delivered a nod of courtesy towards her, before curving up his lips into a smaller smile than the one he wears before. "Good evening! My name's Duo, Yumoa Duo." He took a moment to slide himself further from her, to give a sort of 45 degrees bow to her. Probably cultural in where he used to live, since he does it so normally. The long braid behind him fell on his shoulder as he bows, so that when he sat straight again, his hair dangles down his left shoulder. It was so long, the tip even reached his knees.
His lips widens into that toothy smile again when a waitress came to deliver two cups of tea on their table. Duo took that chance to piped in a very cheerful thank you to her, followed by a boyish wink. The waitress merely stared at the boy, probably intrigued by that hair of his, before scooting off back to her work.
Duo laughed quietly, then reverted his attention back to Milly. "So tell me, how can I ask if I can join you for lunch if I don't know your name? ...Miss?" His eyes had this certain twinkle when he smiled, so lively and spirited, almost magnetic somehow.

Milly stared at him as though he were crazy while he introduced himself and even bowed to her as he did so. She watched his braid fall in front and thought how strange it was for a guy to have such long hair like that. She didn't really pay much attention when the waitress brought tea to their table as she was rather focused on his potentially crazy rapist murderer who had decided to so casually sit with her and speak to her.
She held a defensive look as he turned back to her, not wanting to give him her information. "Where do you get off just barging in on someone's private luncheon time without even asking before sitting down if you could join? You think with just a flashy smile and twinkling eyes you can woo anyone into liking you? Well, it'll take a whole lot more than that to get me to accept you." She said with an annoyed tone, not wanting to allow that look in his eyes to tear her barrier down until she actually knew he was not a threat.

At her verbal attack, that smile on his face slightly falters, but that curve at the sides of his lips could still be identified as a grin. Duo leaned on the chair, relaxing his shoulders, but keeping his eyes still onto the young woman beside him.
"So you noticed my flashy smile and twinkling eyes?" was all he said before he burst up laughing. He took that distraction to reach for his braid and tosses it behind him, seems he does that a lot by how completely at ease he looks. "Now, who said I want to woo someone into liking me?"
The way Duo spoke that question seems almost rhetorical. The young man then sat with his spine very straight, sets his arms on the table, locks his hands together so his fingers could entwined in between each other. His face is still facing Milly, though. Like the serial crazy rapist murderer he at least looks like.
"I like to be remembered," he said, his voice sounded almost airily, which is strange because he uses a slightly raspy-sounded tone before. "I rather be 'that crazy guy' in your mind, than 'that guy in the diner'. It sticks to your memory longer." Duo smiled with his eyes squinted close. In his thoughts, that sentence continued, 'Even if it means breaking the boundaries of normality.'
His sitting posture then softens into a more approachable look as he turns his whole upper body to face her. By now, anybody could see that he's a definite sanguine or a rather animated person. "Plus, barging is my hobby." He said it so casually, it didn't even look like he cared for personal space. "And you're like the only one sitting alone here, y'know? I can't leave a lady dining alone."
Duo did scanned the whole place just as he enters, most of the customers are lovebirds living in the cabins on their holidays, or adventurers drinking together to replenish their energy. Milly is the only one that stood out in the crowd to him, frankly. "I don't mind if you don't accept me, I'll eat at the booth right there and keep smiling at you till you do."
His finger was pointing at the vacant booth right beside Milly's table.

Milly stared at Duo with one eyebrow tweaked a bit as he explained why he acted so out there. After a while, she finally spoke. "You.... are very weird..." She stated with a bewildered look on her face as she made sure to keep herself as far away from him in this booth as she could. She didn't know what to do or say next, so she just remained quiet and still a moment, watching him carefully for his next move.

"I believe people should delve themselves into weirdness and insanity, it wakes up brain cells," he responded, suddenly pulling both his legs up on the seat he's sitting on then hugging them. He just sat like that for a while, facing her with a wide smile.
Then, he released his arms from locking his legs together, pushes himself up and stood on his seat, overlooking everyone. "Excuse me~" he sang out, hopping on the seat's leaner thing and just walked on it like it's the most normal thing to do.. "I'll just be over here--" he paused his words as he hopped onto the seat of the next booth, "...--till you can see behind my quirks..."
The young man spun around to face the girl while still standing on the seat, his long braid following the motion and swung right and left behind him, "...that I'm not such a bad guy to get to know with." His smile seems to so eternal by how constant and fixed it looks, and it just stayed there as he sat himself down and positioned himself normally, but still facing her with that boyish grin.
"Oh. Can you please pass my teacup here to me?"

Milly watched this boy, astounded at his words but rather skeptical. As he stood on the booth and started to speak, she muttered an "oh God" and lowered her head as though trying to cover herself and not be associated with this weirdo. As he stepped over onto the next booth, she peaked around her hand to make sure he really did move. His smiled freaked her out a bit now and the whole restaurant at least temporarily looked over at him during that whole thing.
Milly remained close to the wall, not wanting to get close to him and when he asked for his tea, she just looked at him almost suspiciously. She didn't move to fulfill his request and eventually just uttered, "Get it yourself," as she turned her face forward, not wanting to stare at him anymore but making sure to be aware of him in case he really was some crazy nutjob.

Duo's eyebrows creased down as he sort of pouted at her respond. Though, from the corners of his eyes, he could see the same waiter from before, heading towards them with two trays that he guessed are their orders.
Swiftly, the braided man swooped his way from his seat to the seat right in front of the girl, in the blink of an eye. Using his speed, of course. Even his hair couldn't catch up and the moment Milly could see him in front of her, his braid is still on the air, horizontally with its end pointing exactly where he had sat.
His braid falls as his smile lifted, pulling his teacup towards himself. Right on cue, the waiter stopped by their table, settling down the food. "Please, please, please let me join you for dinner~~" Duo suddenly clasped his hands together in front of him, begging immaturely towards Milly. "I promise you I'll be a good boy, and I'll stay quiet if you're annoyed, and I won't smile if you keep frowning~!"
Of course the waiter stared at them both, and glanced towards Milly mostly even though he's done putting their plates down, just to hear how she would answer. The look on his face is hoping for a more positive reply since Duo has done a good job in acting so miserable.

Milly jumped a bit in her seat as she saw him slight right in front of her eyes super quickly. She sat up straight in surprise and stared at him with open eyes a moment before letting out a quiet groan in the back of her throat in annoyance and closed her eyes. She lifted her hand and placed it against her forehead, leaning her elbow against the table as she heard him plea.
She noticed then that the food had been placed down in front of them as she looked at the waiter who just stood there watching her. She was about to thank him but he seemed to be ready to butt into her business if she were to say no. "Do you mind?" She said to the waiter, making that his cue to leave. When he caught himself and apologized before heading off, Milly felt a bit sorry for being rude and turned her head to say a quick thank you for his service.
She then looked back towards Duo, watching him for a moment before rolling her eyes. "Ugh.. Fine." She let out finally before pulling her food towards herself. "Just don't bug me." She picked up her hot chicken sandwich and pulled it up to her lips, placing just a little through at a time to bite off with her eyes closed in order to savour the flavour more. She breathed out a sigh through her nose after she swallowed the first bite.

Duo was about to use his legendary once-seen-will-guaranteed-squeal pout face, but then this girl turns her attention to the waiter and shooed him off. The lad's face almost fell of a little jealousy for the fact that she pays way more attention to the waiter than himself.
Though, that jealousy is quickly replaced by ecstasy after she agreed for him to join her.
"Yayyy!" Yes, he was overcome by a wave of overwhelming emotions, to the point that he raises up his hands under his chin to do a little childish clapping. "Thanks! I won't bug you, I promise!"
Pulling his own orders to himself...which is the exact same as hers, Duo adjusts himself in his seat to sit straight and actually behaved like a civilized civilian for once. He arranged his meals neatly in front of himself, organizing the plates of which he would eat first, setting the cutleries aside for when he's going to use them and rolling up his long sleeves right before pulling off his gloves.
After that, he looked around the restaurant, muttering to himself where can he find a sink so he could wash his hands. After he spotted a restroom, he looked back at Milly, piped in a polite "I'll be right back," and ultimately disappears from his seat.
There's a slight breeze disrupting the air, and exactly 3 seconds after that, Duo reappeared back to where he is, with his hands all clean. "Back," he merely chirped, then clasps his hands together while closing his eyes.
He's praying.
And THEN he grabs his sandwich, and eats it contently with a small smile. For that moment, the atmosphere became silently peaceful between them. Usually, Duo'd be the one to start a conversation, but he looks so pleased with his sandwich that he seems to have forgotten to be himself.
"Oh, this is GOOD sandwich!" ...Okay, maybe he hadn't. At least he said that after swallowing that piece he was chewing.

After taking her first bite, Milly noticed that Duo hadn't started his yet. She opened her eyes briefly, catching him finishing setting up his dishing and pulling up his sleeves. She watched briefly in annoyance as he muttered then spoke to her again. Milly felt a small breeze as he left and reappeared really fast. Although this caught her curiosity, Milly wasn't about to let her guard down.
When he finally quieted down then began to eat his sandwich, Milly rolled her eyes and continued hers, a bit annoyed at his disruptions. When he spoke out again, Milly put her sandwich down and glared at him, swallowing the bite in her mouth. "You agreed to be quiet." She said in an annoyed tone.
