Kisa was wondering the bamboo thickets. She had never been in such a place. It intrigued her. The female lioness, crept through the bamboo bushes. She seemed a bit out of place. Usually she was in grass plains. But her brother spoke of this place. Saying he met a friend here. She wondered what the people were like here. Kisa then spotted a mouse. Kisa ducked down into the bushes. Preparing herself for a pounce.
She pounced playfully chasing the mouse. Purposely not catching it for it would ruin the fun. When it suddenly ran into a whole. Kisa just sat there and laughed as she started to look for something else to play with. She continued to trot into the unknown area when she heard a snap. Kisa stopped and looked around. But for some odd reason she wasn't scared. She flicked her tail as she then jumped into one of the bushes. Hiding herself.
She continued to move into a different part of bushes. She then noticed a tiger came into view. Kisa then lowered herself to the ground. Kisa then jumped out of the bush "Boo!" Kisa yelled playfully as she landed not too far from the other feline.

Ah~ Esha stretched in her tiger form and thought optimistically about the coming spring. It had been a chilly winter but at least it didn't become cold enough to render a blizzard over the land. Esha didn't mind snow and she did enjoy the challenging hunts that snow brought during the winter but she preferred the warmth of spring and the beautiful blossoms it awakens. The tiger idly thought of the cherry blossoms opening already and sighed. She couldn't wait for that to happen. Kumo was at its most beautiful during spring, colors everywhere.
Now she was stalking in the bamboo thicket and sniffed the fresh air that never leaves this patch of forest. Esha wasn't looking for prey today, she was looking for a place to relax and she knew where the perfect place was. It was just she was too into this thought that she didn't notice another feline watching her. Esha had no enemies here in Kumo and all the other felines were either of her own clan or her friends. So when the feline jumped at her, Esha snarled in surprised and jumped back, the fur on her back standing. "Ah!" She exclaimed and stood there confused.
A lioness...?

When the tiger roared Kisa stepped back. The fur standing up on her back was a warning. She didn't stop to think that maybe the tiger was an enemy. Kisa bowed her head. "I'm sorry" She said immediately. She raised her head as she looked back at the other feline. Kisa had no intention of fighting anyone. She was simply looking for something to entertain her. Like playing.
"My Names Kisa" She said with a bright smile on her face. She even began to purr, to create the image that Kisa was not a threat at all. More of a friend. And she hopped that would be the outcome.

Esha stared for a while, frozen in her defensive position until the lioness purred. The tigress blinked and relax then slumped her rear on the grassy ground. "Uh...hi, Kisa. Do you make a habit of jumping on people? That sorta scared me." Esha chuckled nervously. She shouldn't be acting like this, her father taught her to look stronger.
Moving her tail side to side, a sign that she was still calming down, Esha added, "I'm Esha. I don't see a lot of lions around here. Where are you from? Sougen?" Sougen was known for its Lion clans after all.

Kisa shook her head. "Oh no not normally" She chuckled as she looked at the Tigress. "I thought someone was following me, so I hid" Kisa didn't know why she had so much energy today. It wasn't like her, Usually she was calm cool and collected. But maybe it was because spring is starting to slowly come back. The smell of flowers and plants just made Kisa a little playful today. "I'm sorry, I did not mean to scare you" She apologized once more.
"Its a pleasure to meet you Esha, And yes, I'm from Sougen, I live there with my brother! How did you know?" The curious lioness asked. She hadn't seen many felines around besides her and her brother. Infact for the longest time she thought they were the only ones. She was sorta happy to see another feline around.

Esha flick one of her ears just like a human woman human would her hair, "Well, I've heard about lion clans over there even though I've never been out of Kumo before. Kumo is tiger country..." She chuckled, "As you can see."
Esha tilted her head and took the lioness in. It was a bit weird to see a stripeless cat her size around these parts and Esha was excited about meeting Kisa. And Kisa seemed to be a nice person to boot! She guessed the rumors about lions being barbaric or unnecessarily violent were just that, rumors. But then... she didn't really know yet.

Kisa purred at her new friend. "you've never been out of Kumo? Same! well... sorta" She started. "I went to school in Ianne, But after that I moved to Sougen with my brother." She smiled. It was her first time out. She traveled yes but rarely and usually she didn't stop to smell the roses. Kisa was glad that Esha was a nice, Tigress. If she had been the defensive Tiger, not wanting anything to do with Lions. Kisa probably wouldve been in alot of danger. Not to mention trouble when her brother finds out.
Kisa was facintated though. She had never seen a Tiger/Tigress with stripes that had almost matched the color of her fur. It was pretty. How the strips almost blended with her orange fur.

Esha perked her ears. "Brother...?" She echoed and then suddenly though of a big hairy guy. Lions were large and they have manes so Esha's imagination immediately translated into a huge burly, fiery tempered male. Looking at Kisa though, it was hard to imagine such a gentle lioness having that kind of a brother.
Esha then noticed that the lioness was staring at her stripes. She looked down at herself and said, "Well, I am a tiger hence the stripes." She chuckled. The fact that she was a marmalade didn't bother her at all her. There were a few other golden tigers in Kumo, she and her mother were two of them. Esha was proud of her color because it was actually easier to hide with lighter stripes. She always felt the black stripes were too obvious to prey sometimes.

"Mhm, His name is Takato" She said. Infact they were twins of all things. "Do you have any siblings?" She asked her curiously. She wondered if her family was big or not. Typically, Her's was a small for there were only 2 of them. But Kisa thought the smaller the better. She could hardly keep up with Takato! Let alone Takato AND Odessa-chan.
The lioness chuckled a bit. "And a pretty Tiger too!" Kisa added to her comment. Kisa was still fascinated by the stripes. It was a rare sight maybe? Kisa was glad to have seen it. Let alone befriend her in the process. She was joyed to have a new friend that was similar to her.

"Oh, I don't have any siblings. My parents live on top of the mountains over there though. They temple guardians." Esha turned her head and pointing a steep mounting with snout. From where they were sitting, it was hard to see the temple through all the bamboo but Kisa looked closely enough, the temple roof was visible.
"And thank you for the compliment." Esha swished her tail proudly, "You're quite pretty too. I'm so used to seeing orange that it's great to see your golden brown coat." Kisa was indeed plain-looking without the fancy stripes but her color in itself was truly beautiful.
"So, what are you doing here in Kumo? Is there something you want to see?" She asked because if that was indeed the case maybe she could show Kisa around.

"Why thank you" Kisa said cheerfully. She always thought of herself as the average lioness. Nothing out of the ordinary. Kisa then looked very hard at the top of the mountain. Just barely being able to see the temples roof. She was dazzled that her parents did something so great. Guardians of a temple! That sounded so cool! Kisa's mom was nothing out of the ordinary. And she never knew her fathers, She was told that he was a king of a village far far away. But she never saw that kingdom, She met someone, who was believed to be her father, but Kisa barely remembers that day. She remembered being told it was him. But the face was not embedded into her head. He also vanished right after that. But no matter what the story, Kisa loved her mom just as much! And she was thankful for her mother for being there for her.
"I came here no particular reason, I was simply told that t was a nice place here, and I wanted to see for myself!" But now that she mentioned it. Seeing the temple would be nice. "But why dont we go to the temple! I'm really interested in it now" She said purring. She wanted to see what it was like. She had never seen a temple before. There was on in the contry she was at but she had never been there for it was too high up and her mother forbid her to go there.

"Well, it's cooler her than in Sougen, I think, at least, right?" Esha chuckled and moved her tail around her front and flicked her tail-tip to and fro. She then looked up where the lioness was looking, back to the temple. Well, maybe she could bring her there but it'd take a while. It would be easier if they went into town first.
"How long are planning to stay here, Kisa? If you have time maybe we can go through town before I take you up to the temple. You should try Kumo meat buns!" Esha purred just at the thought of the steamed pork buns Mrs. Yao sold in the market.

Kisa nodded. "I have all the time in the world" That was Kisa's schedule she was free to do what ever she wanted when she wanted. Granted she picked up the schedule from her brother, but still, she enjoyed herself living like this. As Esha purred the fact of Meat buns, She was suddenly curious, Whats a meat bun? She didn't know what it was, but by the way Esha was purring it had to be good. Kisa just looked back at her tracks. She believed it was that way.
"Race you" Kisa said with a playfull smirk.

Esha growled playfully. "Think you can outrun a tiger? No way!" And without even counting, she stormed off into the bamboo. This would have been much easier if she didn't have her sword flailing all over the place but it was something that she must get used to because she should have her sword with her at all times. It was an insult to the Temple Guardians not to.
Esha went through the small pathways between the bambo trees as any Kumo resident would. She and her family knew these forests so well they couldn't get lost. Esha would look behind her to make sure her new friend didn't lose sight of her even though this was a race.

"Yes I- HEY THATS CHEATING!" Kisa yelled as she chased her friend. At first she the bamboo sticks where throwing her off but it wasn't long before she started to catch up. Kisa was wasn't too far behind, In fact she kept pretty good pace. Weaving in and out of the bamboo she ran as fast as she could.
