"It's not nothing, don't you---STOP THAT!!!" Kida yelled when she realized he was commenting, again, on something she had never said aloud. It was starting to seriously piss her off. "I don't care what kind of excuse you have. I don't care if you don't know how to turn it off. Do NOT listen to my thoughts! Don't comment or reference or think about anything you hear in my thoughts!"
"Or not only will I not teach you anything about hydrokinesis, you'll play the role of the bottle next time!!" Kida was very big on privacy, even when it came to normal everyday boundries that all types of people could address. Her thoughts, above all else were hers alone to know. If Zephel continued to invade her privacy he was going to regret it. Friend or not.
Kida crossed her arms and stared at him. "Agree to that and then I'll answer your question."

It doesn't take much to make Zeph got his tongue tied at that moment, mostly because he never encountered a raging woman often, and was caught up not knowing what else to do but either glower at them or shut his mouth tight. He chose the latter given the situation he's in....and because he's been inside her mind again and saw the vague image of himself replacing the crumpled water bottle.
"Alright, alright..." He said with a slight sigh trailing in his voice, unusually calm, while bringing up a hand in defense. "Calm down, I'll stay quiet...unless necessary. Sorry about it, okay?" He wasn't a man that could apologize so easily, so he squeezed it in his spontaneity.
He can still hear her, albeit faintly now that he tries to concentrate to the ocean rather than listening. He can't even tell apart her real voice than the voice he heard from her head, and since he wasn't looking at Kida the moment she stated her last sentence, Zeph turned to her and tries to figure out if she said that or think that..
But looking at Kida made it that much easier for him to read her mind. Unintentionally, that is. He shook his head sideways for a bit, closing his eyes to try and get the voices off his mind until it suddenly stops. Zeph knows that wasn't his doing, it just occurs randomly like that...but he's thankful of the timing.
"..Fine, I agree." Now that the telepathy has paused itself, of course he agrees.

She harrumphed and stared at him for a moment. Then she sighed. "What water represents to me...."
"Water is life. Water is a flow of energy. It moves and it changes and then seeps out of the tangible world to be used again. Water is movement. It is serenity and rage, slow and gentle to a whiplash. It is fickle and changing, ever shifting. Water is limitless and tempting.... Nothing can live without it." Kida shrugged.
"What else?"

The corners of Zeph's lips are just itching to smile, but he had turned his head to watch his familiars playing in the sand, so Kida couldn't see his reaction...or she would kill him for laughing. "I never knew you're so poetic." That came out sarcastically, out of his control. Nevertheless, Hikaru would like knowing of this fact.
He turns his head to meet Kida's gaze now, face solemn of any expression, then nodded. "That's enough to know water is important to you, everyone else and everything else. ..Thanks." Loud splashes attracted his attention to the ocean, and he can see Zi-Fi running around playing with the water now, with Ryo latching tightly onto the dog's back.
"Alright, I understand the value of it now."

Taking the more immature road Kida stuck her tongue out at Zephel and places her hands on her hips. "I'm not all rough edges, thank you very much." But she said it with a smirk. Darel often made fun of her--or used to--when he found her reading something that wasn't a comic. "If you'd like to know I play the piano, enjoy long walks on the beach at sunset and like visual art." Sarcastic, yet playfully so, she shook her head.
"Shall we start then?" And hell. She was the one that had to figure out how to start exactly, wasn't she? "Hmmmn.....Let's start with what you feel. What do you feel when you focus on nothing but the water." Kida gave a jerk of the head to the sea. "Or uh... if you have a better idea how to start...I'm all ears."

Zeph shrugged to indicate his resignation. So what if if she plays the piano, he's not complaining. The silver-haired only nodded as Kida asked for them to begin the training. Her question startled him, though.
"What I feel?" He repeated, turning to her with an eyebrow raised. Zeph tilted his head back a bit, his eyes now facing the sea, as though trying to recall something. "I'm...not sure I'm familiar in describing emotions and such, Kida."
He admits, even Hikaru had dubbed him hopeless in this field. "I never...word out the feeling when I control water. I just focus on it, and it move on my will." In shorter terms, feelings were never significant to him. What type of emotion he had felt when focusing on water, he seem to never pay any attention to it.

"Well try. See what happens. We need to start somewhere and this is as good as any. Think of something, even a small something, and we can move on. Alright?" And while he thought of a small something Kida would have to think about what to do next.
"Look, you've heard that our bodies are like ninety percent water, right? Well it makes it easier to feel the flow physically." Kida glanced at the ocean. "Actually...C'mon." Kida pried off her shoes and unnecessary accessories and walked straight for the water. Wading in until the water was to her waist she looked back at Zephel. "Now don't tell me you're afraid of getting wet because that is just not an option with this kind of training, let along power."

"Think of something?" That's a difficult task. It's not the thinking that bothers him, its the something. "...I tend to think a lot of things, most of it simultaneously...so I can't really choose..." He didn't managed to state that clearly, since his words trailed out in whispers in the end just when his eyes fell on the water smacking the beach.
'...Or is it...I don't need to think of anything...and just...feel..' That's what Hikaru always said during their element-training, maybe that's why the boy excels in his element way more than Zeph can even reach with his own. He could barely hear Kida's next round of speech, it's only until he heard her going in the water that he snapped out of his gaze.
"Wait, what?"
He stared at the woman slowly entering the ocean, and he almost wish Kida didn't just ordered him to get in too. With a low grunt, the silver-haired flicks off his shoes and went in without much complaint, except for a scowl on his face. He took off his jacket when he's half-way near Kida and threw it off near his shoes.
"You better give me one hell of a training..."

"Who's the water bender here?" Kida snipped at him with a slight growl in her voice. No, I'm gonna give you crap training.[/b] she said sarcastically in her head. She shook her head to get rid of the irritation that was starting to creep into her brain. Then she sat in the ocean so that the water pooled around her shoulders where it had once hit her waist. The waves came in and out, in and out, lapping at the shore in a tempo that matched her heart beat always.
Kida closed her eyes and instructed Zephel to do exactly as she was doing. "Don't watch the water, just listen to the sound and feel it move you." Kida could already feel her body relinquishing itself to the wave, not fighting to stand against it like a rock. "You need to physically feel the water, let it take you before you can know what feeling it evokes." For some the sensation could be interpreted as being at the waves mercy and cause anger. Another reaction could be a calming sense of peace just from the mere rhythm of the waves.

If it wasn't for Kida initially warning him of entering her mind and also for his obsession in personal space, Zeph would have telepathically snapped back right at her of her crap training answer. He just waded in the water till Kida suddenly went off and sat on the freaking sea floor.
"...You've gotta be kidding me.." He spoke silently to himself as he watched his 'mentor'. After a moment though, after observing how calm Kida is with the water, is surprisingly tempting him to try just that. He's almost glad to hear that Kida asked him to join her.
He made his way a few feet near her, then sat cross-legged on the ocean floor, the water flowing around his chest and underarms. At first, he felt slightly annoyed to be pushed around by the pressure from the waves, but then after he closed his eyes, Zeph tried to listen to the waves instead of being irritated by it, then attempted to breathe calmly.
Though that didn't work when one strong wave pushed him off of his initial sitting place. He ignored that, until another wave literally slammed onto him, resulting him to not only got closer to the shore, but lost his sitting posture and got his head underwater too.
"BLARGH!!" The silver-haired spat the moment his head popped out of the cruel water. Salty sea water doesn't really go with anyone's tongue. Now thoroughly wet, complete with his spiky hair wilting down over his bandanna and eyes, Zeph clenched his jaw.
"Calm...tranquility....try to be placid..." He chanted to himself as he went back to the deeper side of the sea and sat again, trying not to explode. Once he's properly seated, he shot a sharp glare to Kida. "The ocean hates me, just so you know."
