Rayne had no real intention or place to be, so he simply wandered as if looking for something without an aim. While wandering and trying to avoid populated places, Rayne found himself on a deserted portion of beachland in Fijion.
He stopped at the edge of the beach, staring at the sun that was slowly setting beyond the ocean. The look in his eyes went deep and his eyelids closed partway as he thought how May would have enjoyed this sight. After a moment of thought, Rayne closed his eyes and lowered his head, trying to push away thoughts of her.
When he felt mentally stable enough to open his eyes again, he did so, staring down at the ground a moment before looking back up at the sunset. He stood there a moment longer before walking onto the sand and heading towards a cliff that loomed above the sand.
He moved under the cliff and sat down on part of the rocky formation. Rayne leaned forward, resting his elbows on his knees. One hand turned into a fist while the other wrapped over it and Rayne rested his chin on top as he watched the sunset and the the waves of the ocean.
"May...." He whispered quietly to himself as he closed his eyes again. "If there is a heaven, I'm sure that's where you are..." He opened his eyes again then and leaned back against the rock, a blank expression on his face as he stared up at the slowly darkening sky.
I'll never be where you are... He thought, staring blankly at the sky, as his arms now hung limply by his sides. I hope you're not crying anymore... He then closed his eyes, resting there on the rocky formation.
