Iku couldn't believe she was in this predicament. She was working a part time job so that they could stay just a bit longer and get out a little easier. Their rent was due soon and they had realized that they didn't have enough. Iku was working a part time job as a waitress. Iku walked out with a platter. She was wearing a white bottom up shirt with a skirt that went down to her knee's, she was also wearing high heals. Iku then walked up to the customer that was in her part of the diner.
"Hi, how can i help you?" She forced a smile on her face. She really didn't want to be here. But money wise she had no other choice.
((Anyone?))

((May I?))
Mittens and graphic pens don't match, Leo now realized it. Even if those gloves seperates the thumb from the other four fingers. His journal lay innocently there on the diner's table, with rough sketches on what seems to be a wolf he had seen recently while exploring this arctics mountains. It looks decent as it is, but through Leo's eyes, its just way too messy and uneven to even be called a sketch.
He sighed in dissapointment, not wanting to take off his gloves to hold the assumingly cold texture of his pen. Even if he's already wearing 4 or so layers of clothes wrapped around him, his body can't seem to get along with cold climates much. Probably because he's not used to it. It IS his first time climbing up a mountain like this after all. All for the sake of those wolves and other that is worth his attention being up here.
"Hi, how can I help you?"
That surprised Leo from his focus, accidentally dropping his pen off his grip as it rolled off the table and hits the diner's floor. "Oh, dear.." He trailed his eyes to the floor in search for his pen, that's when he caught sight of those high heels. Leo blinked, as he quickly looked up to this person standing beside him.
"Ah. I-I'm sorry. I'm assuming y-you're the w-w-waitress?" He tried to speak between his chattering teeth, feeling stupid of both on how he stutters and for the fact that this woman's costume already made it apparent that she IS the waitress.
He's too slow to take back what he said, so the young artist just shrugged with a weak emotionless smile as a respond to her own forced grin. "W-what's today's s-special..?"
Note to self: invent a jaw-clenching mechanism to avoid stuttering.

Iku sweatdropped for a second as the pencil hit the floor and he followed it. It was then when he followed her ankles up to her face that she became flustered. Was he just checking her out? Iku was about to say something when suddenly he started stuttering. Which made her sure that he did just that. She was five seconds away from punching the guy when her manager coughed. Like, you better not do that or else your fired. Iku puffed.
"Our special today is the turkey sandwich" She growled. She forced a face smile. but it was painfully obvious that she was angry.

Leo was a bit taken aback by her tone of voice. Sure, he wasn't that much of a genius in reading and understanding others, but he can still detect when somebody's about to harm him...or wish for it. Those years of getting himself bullied is getting its credit nowadays, since he seemed to have accidentally pissed 2 girls around this week, apparently. And he didn't even know what he did wrong. ...Some genius.
"T-turkey s-s-sandwich...?" Leo crossed his hands against his chest, simply to warm them up under his armpits because of the cold atmosphere. His stuttering is of the same source also. Gradia was much too at-home for him that he never got used to the climates of other regions in this place.
"I-if that's the c-case, then I'll have to p-pass." The artist shrugged his shoulder as he averts his attention from this waitress and to the sketchbook he had been drawing on a while ago. Leo truly appreciates life, whether it constantly brings him things he would detest...but he always find the underlying reason of it even happening, and those reasons are enough for him to bow his head down and smiled to himself.
So, in short, Leo's a vegetarian.
"I-I'm sorry, but would you recommend s-s-something without meat, p-please?" He tried to lift a smile to Iku, but since he's not used with grinning at anyone, his smile appears very small, and unenthusiastic too.

Iku sighed the guy seemed a bit harmless once he had asked for something without meat. Plus he seemed scared out of his mind. "Well, there is always the vegetable soup" She couldn't get more vegetarian than that. Iku had an anger managment problem, it was obvious at that. Her old hate towards men, had died down, but it still resided in her. You would think that being in a relationship for 2 years would make her guard go down. But it only make it that much stronger.
Iku sighed once again as she tried to calm herself. She would get fired right away if she made a remark like that again. And Iku wanted to keep this job, only for a little bit longer.

Leo quickly spins his head to the waitress at the mentioning of vegetable soup. His face expression doesn't show it much, but his bright glimmering eyes represents that lack of smile om his seemingly permanent-unenthusiastic face. His late mother used to make that particular meal for him. whether for lunch, dinner, supper...even breakfast if he wishes for it. And since their family doesn't own much profit, vegetable is always the main meal for the day, and Leo never gets bored of it.
"It's... I... That.. That would be perfect. I love vegetable soup, it's my favourite. I'll have that, thank you very much. Your recommendation is highly appreciated, miss." His smile doesn't grow nor stretch much, but his eyes reveals everything. Even his stuttering ceases because of his hidden happiness.
As he's about to think what he would like to drink, Leo suddenly caught sight of his graphic pen rolling under the table beside him. As quick as a flash. the young artist stood up from his seat, maneuvered his way around Iku, and rushed towards that particular table, crouching on all fours...without even a hint of care if that table's occupied or not.
"Oh, and I'll have a warm cup of tea too, thank you." He noted as a last message to the waitress before crawling off under that table in search for his pen.Manners matter little to him, apparently.
Well, what do you expect from an abnormal mentally-active young man who has done nothing but painting and inventing the unthinkable?

Iku furrowed her brows at how he DEMANDED tea! Ok maybe was a bit much. Iku had a feeling she wasn't going to like this guy much. She then wrote down tea, on her notebook.
"Alright, I shall be back" Iku said as she went to the back towards the kitchen placed the order slip on the desk so that the cook would see it. She grabbed a glass and walked towards the machine. She starred at it for a moment, looking for the Tea button. When she finally found it she placed the cup under the filter and pressed the button. But instead of the Tea just pouring out nothing happened. Iku somewhat annoyed pushed it again. Still nothing happened. She started tapping it repetitively. Iku very annoyed then Iku pressed it once more when suddenly the Tea came out, but it spilled every where. Iku growled now she was wet. She also didn't have spare clothe.
Iku then brought the glass to her wired customer. She wasn't having a good day.

"Aha!" Leo popped his head out from under the table he was just in. with his mighty pen in his grip. Sighing in satisfaction, the lad then crawled out of the table, takes his time standing up from the floor and went back straight to his seat. He swiftly pulls his chair closer to his table, rests his arms comfortably at the sides of his sketch book, then calmly continues to sketch his wolf.
He was distracted yet again by the same woman later on, who slams his tea on the table in such a sudden manner, Leo almost toppled off his chair. Staring up at this waitress, the timid artist then scrutinized her again, only this time trying his best to choose his words properly to avoid her going all out on him.
"Uhh... ..miss, you're uhm...you're wearing white." He pointed out, pointing the tip of his pen at Iku's shirt, while looking away. indifferent. He's used into drawing human anatomies, that it didn't bother him much. But thank goodness, despite his odd manners at times, Leo at least knows the basic etiquette of respecting women, and their space.
...That's why he's scooting away along with his chair around the table, trying to avoid an expected upcoming blow from this seemingly pissed waitress.

(May I guys? ^^) Feeling a chill Mitsuko decided to get a hot drink from the local diner that was situated here in the domain. Little did she realize that there was a commotion taking place but she had no idea that it involved her best friend Iku. That is until she heard the faint sound of a machine going haywire.
She peered through the window to see what was going on but the frost had prevented her from seeing inside the diner properly, so Mitsuko had to rub a part of the window in a circular motion with her hand in order to see what was happening.
'Is that who I think it is? !! Iku... I had no idea she worked here... but then again I haven't seen her for a long time. So of course I wouldn't know that she had a job now, all I know is that she got married. Clearly she is frustrated, and she also needs clothes, I think I have something in my bag here.'
Mitsuko began to go through her bag until she found clothing for Iku to wear. it was folded neatly ready to be given or worn by a person who needs it. Yes Mitsuko comes prepared especially in the domain since she has learned the hard way of not being prepared. So the lesson learned is better safe then sorry.
Mitsuko then took it out of her bag quickly and sweatdropped at it. and sighed, and started to second guess herself.
'Beggars can't be choosers and I did come from Summers Eve my family's temple, so of course the garments would be something traditional, and its not to embarrass her... but she does need clothes. And its festive... heheh reminds me of how bright and festive my family's temple is...
She closed her eyes and then opened them again and took a deep breath and went inside.
"Need a hand Iku? I really can't allow you to stay drenched like that."
Mitsuko walked in slowly with a calm demeanor and she smiled. She looked over at the customer who was scooting his chair around the table and nodded at him. At the corner of her eye she could see a drawing of a wolf.
'So... he's a artist too? I mean that's a really good picture.'
Mitsuko of course went to Iku's aid and took her hand.
"it will be fine Iku, your just having an off day. and we can talk about that later." She then turned to the young man who was scooting around the table. "Please excuse us."

Leo only blinked at this new stranger who just happens to be in the neighborhood, and according to how she just went in and to this waitress's aid, the artist figured they must have known each other for a while. His keen eyes caught sight of the flaming red object in her possession.
He doesn't know how to read people much, but he likes to guess what they're thinking...and his guesses are almost always right. Leo comes a bit unprepared by Mitsuko's excuse as his mind had wandered off, and just simply nodded at her dumbly. He looked away from them, dumbfounded and blank, and stares at his wolf drawing.
His blue eyes hovered over to the tea the waitress managed to deliver to him. "T-thank you for the tea!" He called out, now noticing he forgot to thank the poor waitress. Shaking out the distractions, Leo takes back the pen in his grip, then slowly continues his sketching. If he's lucky, he might finish it before his food arrives.

Iku growled. Wasn't it obvious that she was wearing white? I mean it was painfully obvious. It was then before she could breaking anything it was Mitsuko. Iku stopped for a minute. It took her a few seconds to process that she was a few inches away from old friend who she had not seen in like forever!!!
"Mitsuko!" She said in sheer relief. Mitsuko then lead Iku to the back, where she unfolded the dress. It was gorgeous.
"But I Couldn't! This dress is too pretty to wear in a dump like this" She said a little tempted to just wear it anyways. Anything was better than this. At that minute she didn't care anymore. She took the dress and went into the stall where she quickly got changed. Iku walked out, much more comfortable that she was.
Suddenly Iku heard her name being called by the cool meaning her customer's orders were ready. "Gah, I'll met you out there" Iku then suddenly bolted out the door and served her customer his dinner.

Mitsuko smiled as she saw her friend just bolt out of the room without a second thought. She also couldn't help but giggle a bit.
"The dress really suits her. I'm going to let her keep it. Kind of like a late wedding gift."
The young angel then stepped back to the main part of the diner and she stood there quietly, staying out of Iku's way since she is working, but at the same time she had Iku's back- after all friends that have a bad day need a friend to help them.

Leo unconsciously and childishly stuck a part of his tongue out at the side of his mouth, focusing on his wolf-sketching throughout that he didn't even paid any attention to his surrounding anymore. The sudden clank and the abrupt instability of his table shocked the timid artist that he accidentally jolted his pen all the way through that piece of art, creating a long fat line across his beautiful detailed drawing...
Seeing this, Leo's mouth automatically opened loose, his grip on his pen slowly weakening. This isn't worth that warm bowl of vegetable soup steaming near him now, the very thing that turned his masterpiece into a ruin when Iku placed his order on the table.
"....Eh.." He blankly let out, almost in a whisper, unable to believe the hours upon hours he had taken to complete that sketch turns out to be a devastation. His pen had completely fallen off his hand now, and the lad slowly leaned onto his chair, resting that lanky body of his while trying to look away from that piece of impairment.
As he hovered his blue eyes off into the distance to release his inner lament, his blank eyes picked up the flaming red view near him; Iku's dress...and that lit up at least some life into his dire body. "...May I draw a portrait of you?" He blankly let out, half-conscious by the shock of his previous ruined art.

Iku blankly starred at him. Draw a portrait of her? Why she wasn't that interesting. Not in the least bit. That and she couldn't stay in one spot she has to work! She had no time to sit still and be drawn out. Plus, she wasn't sure if he wanted to draw her clothed or nude. Especially now that he'd seen her in the wet clothing.
"Uh Right here? right now?" Iku said a bit confused.

"The outfit she gave you is very...picturesque." Leo pulls himself up from his leaning posture, trying to sit straight and be as undeterred as possible by the wolf drawing Iku managed to ruin by just putting the dinner on his table. He also cocked his head in Mistuko's direction as he said that, unveiling how sharp he has been during the time when the two friends started to greet each other. To the point that he can even tell what happened.
"I don't mind when. I just want your approval. And hers." He paused with the same blank look, moving his hands to move his wrecked wolf sketch to the side, and to pull his meal near him. "It's your will and her dress after all." The lad shrugged, starting to pick up a spoon situated on a tissue near him.
"Plus, I need to shift my attention from the devastation." He quietly continued with a singular supposed-to-cheer-himself-up chuckle. Though his frown clearly shows that he's failing in that.
