Saphira nodded at Zephel to show that she understands. "Thats true." Then she added with a swift movement of her hand. "But I doubt that there are many people who possess the ability of recognizing an Absolute. At least, I haven't met that many who were aware of what I am."
If Saphira was walking that would be the moment when she would trip all over the place. But since she had a secure stand the only movement that expressed her feelings were her raising eyebrows. "Engaged...?" She repeated the word like it was some kind of food with a bad taste that she was supposed to swallow.
There were two things about that question that Saphira didn't like. Firstly, engaged and secondly, Sasuke. She has never even thought about the fact of forging a bond like marriage and if she even did though, then it would definitely not be with Sasuke. Of course it was possible that he is a nice guy if you break the shell and IF he somehow says something more than a sentence that doesn't sound like he is about to grill you in an instant. But Saphira has met a lot of people and she could tell that Sasuke wasn't one that she would bother to get closer for any means.
She managed to state her point of view after getting over the shock. "I think I understand how things roll over here, but I can assure you, that I am NOT engaged to Sasuke." She looked into Zephels ruby eyes, pondering how much she could tell him, before she continued. "...and I don't plan to. I left my clan because of... differences in intentions. So I came to this place to follow my own paths. I didn't even know that there are dragons living over here too until I have met Sasuke a few weeks ago."

"I told you." Orphion mused in his rider's head, but both stood still to watch Saphira's reaction to the misinterpreted guesswork Zephel had successfully delivered.
The silver-haired backed away a couple of steps, seeing her expression scrunched up into a sour taste. Zeph looked over his shoulder to Orphion, mentally asking his dragon what should he do, since pissing off women and pissing off Absolutes are two things Zephel never had the chance to experience much. God knows what happens he's pissing someone with both of those aspects.
Though, when Saphira started speaking again, both Zeph and his dragon heaved out a mental relieving sigh simultaneously. She still has her composure, and they're both glad of that. What she said made the pair of dragon and rider blinked once or twice, nevertheless. Zephel caught the meaning under he words much faster than his dragon, though.
"I see... Well, that's one long journey you've taken to reach this far, Saphira. I never thought I would see a dragon from another clan, and even talk to them, more or less. Whatever the case may be back there, you're always welcome here."
"What does that supposed to mean? Don't you wish to ask more of her clan, she's intriguing you, I know it."
'She's intriguing YOU. Obviously, she's been through a lot, Orphion. Let's just give her some time to get use to the place, and until she decided she could trust us.'
"I see... Well that's an impressively noble thing for you to do, Zephel."
'Oh, shut up.'
Zeph shook his head, as if to get something out of his mind, and turned his attention back to Saphira. "Well, since you're used with the weather here, I'll just let you be on your...snow-strolling." It took him a moment's pause to find that last set of words. "We'll be going now, then. Unless you have any more questions to ask?"
"...You're just saying that because you're worried of leaving her alone in the crazy snow, am I correct?"
'I said shut up, Orphion.'

Saphira nodded at the rider. She appreciated the welcome indeed and was glad to that she met somebody who could give her an insight about how things roll in this land.
"It was a pleasure to talk with you too." She was serious about that. Still even though she didn't have the ability of telepathy she could bet that the two of them were have a fierce discussion about something.
She smiled at him. "No, I think I am done for the moment." Saphira replied and started walking toward Zephel, since he stood in the direction she was heading to. She looked closely at him, so that she could memorize his face. "I hope we will meet again in some better environment." She said while she walked past him. Then turned around and bowed slightly "See you then."
With these words she broke the eye contact and walked into the blizzard again.

Zephel only nodded his head at this stranger's words--no. Saphira's already an acquaintance to him, even Orphion already acknowledges her as a fellow ally. Both the pair doesn't know why, but their little encounter with that woman somehow felt strange...as if she's familiar somehow.
"We'll see you around." Zephel had said just before she turned to face her destination.
The blue dragon and his rider just followed their gaze to Saphira, watching her returning to the sanctuary of the blizzard. It is until she's about 5 meters away and about to dissappear within the snow that Zeph suddenly hollered, surprising his dragon.
"Let's go, Orphion!" And with that said, Orphion roared in agreement. As soon as Zeph had mounted on his dragon, Orphion took off from the mass of snow and made his way against the strong winds. He's supposed to go the opposite way from Saphira's path, but the blue dragon needed to made a complete U-turn airborne, and they saw a glimmer of blue on the groud that is Saphira's dress.
"If you ever want to meet the alpha dragon, just head to Ianne, at the Weyr. Take care, Saphira." Orphion managed to said that in her head before flying off in the opposite direction through the blizzard, that now thankfully seeming to lessen. With one swift stroke of his wings, Orphion and Zephel dissappeared within the skies, glad to have met another unsuspected soul as a temporary companion with hope that their paths will cross again.
