Takato sat down relieveing the pain from his ankle. He had been running for hours. He knows its best not to sit down and rest. But his ankle had been killing from him. The bit from the freak of nature had really damaged it. Takato was definitely thankful. "We were running from those freaks, and got trapped into a room. We had no choice but to excape through the air vent, I locked the door but of course that didn't stop them We had almost gotten away when they busted down the door and started to follow us, Well... In short one of them got me." He said looking down.
It was an embarrassment to him. To know that he was caught by them freaks. "Unlike your friend though the boot was think enough to prevent the virus from spreading througout my body, But the bit itself I think it damaged the bone" Takato felt slightly frustraited now. He was handicapped now because of this. And if he broke his foot, well there was going to be hell to pay.

Syani didn't even realize her eyes are widening to the fullest extent as she listened to Takato's story. "Good lord, you two have been FIGHTING the syns?! Head-on..?" She bit her lower lip when she realized it's a little too loud.
The half-vampire winced when it came to her notice that his bone is fractured, "I knew it... Limping doesn't fit your style, anyway." Her tone of voice was back to a whisper. Syani then picks the vial she had put beside her earlier, guessing it must have been a bone-problem. "I'm glad the poison doesn't spread in you Taka-chan...or I would've inject you with my sure-die poison. But I could heal your bone for you, scoot over here and let me see your foot."
Syani wasn't the best surgeon...okay, she's not a surgeon at all. But that's good, because the image of her sawing a limb is...way creepy. She can heal, at the very least, and bone-mending happens to be one of her forte, considering she always fell 30 feet above the ground often and break at least an ankle.
"What about Kida? Is she bit?"

Takato's ear went back. He thought he heard footsteps. He knew it was a bad idea to sit down. Takato stayed still for a moment, listening to the sounds around him and his friends. There was nothing.... Maybe he was hearing things. Takato didn't abandon the idea just yet. He stayed still looking out of the corner of his eyes. Thats when Takato snapped out of his intense stare to Syani pulling out something of her coat.
"Huh?" He snapped out of it. He saw that she was pointing towards his injured foot. Takato then limped over towards syani. Takato then continued to search his surroundings. He didn't feel safe at all in these halls.
"She's fine, just over exerted herself" He spoke softly

"I see..." Syani took a short glance towards Kida's unconscious form, "Well, I'm in the same boat. In any case, let me just mend your broken foot there.." There's a reason why she pursued potion-brewing more than witchcraft itself, mainly because she kept setting herself in flames, that's why there's an infinite stock of every type of healing potions inside that huge cloak of hers.
"Syani-brand, special bone-mending potion. With extra calcium!" She whispered to herself, almost as if practicing to repeat that line in some sort of potion commercial, while uncorking the vial. Syani carefully poured half the liquid bottle over Takato's foot, then spreads it around the area.
His fur didn't help since she has to use the other half of the bottle to make sure it seeped into his skin. The liquid needs to get into his skin, entering through the sweat pores so it'll reach inside him and directly towards the bone itself.
"There.." Syani breathed out with a smile and releasing his foot, "It'll reconstruct your bone like new." Nodding, she went to Kida next, to feel the nerve beside her jaw and tries to detect if there's anything out of the ordinary.
After that, she checked Roy's pulse, and opened the lids of one of his eyes to see if his pupils are dilated. The last thing she wants right now is him getting too close to death, that's why she had already placed the cure of the poison in an easily accessible part of her cloak.
"Okay, I'm done checking. Where are we heading?"

Takato looked around for a moment. Syani was coming from that direction. Takato was running from that direction... Which way were they to go? Takato then stopped for a moment... Wait where did Sasuke go? Takato grunted. This was going to be a long day. "And how long is this supposed to take?" Takato knew that it wasn't safe for anyone to sit still. The more they sat the more uneasy Takato became. He felt as if he were being watched. Thanks to syani, His foot was now going to recover.
"Syani, Can you carry your friend there?" He motioned towards roy. Takato didn't know where he was heading but standing here in the halls was not a safe place to be. Takato looked back down the hall he came from. He had only hoped Sasuke was ok. But going back in that direction with an injured lion, a frightened half vampire and two unconscious people was not a good idea.

Syani noticed how tensed Takato seemed by the second, but she chose to ignore the thought of sharing the worry. Being telekinetic, the half-vampire must have a strong control of her emotions, or everything around her would blow to pieces.
"Well, yeah.." She answered in cue of Takato's question, and then continued, "In fact, I can carry both Kida and Roy as long as you have my back." That is a fact, one of the perks of using telekinesis for over 5 human years in her life. Syani looked around the possible routes, and whichever way they're going to go, there's bound to be danger ahead, no exception at all.
"Just lead the way, Taka-chan. They can't smell you now, so I'm completely depending on your feline sight to avoid as many plastic mobs as possible.."

Takato then looked at Syani somewhat confused. How can she carry both. how? Takato then remembered oh yeah. She's telekinetic. "I can carry her for now, But Syani, I want you to promise me something" He said seriously. Takato didn't know how to explain it to her. She seemed so innocent but not. He didn't know how to tell her that he was ready to die for the three of them to live. He didn't know this Roy guy. But he knew and cared deeply for both Syani and Kida.
"Syani, I want you to obey my every command while we're in here. Ok?" He stopped. Silently he thought, wondering if that was entirly clear. If she understood or would he have to explain to her. "No matter how difficult the challenge... So if I say run... Run.... Run as far as you can... " Maybe that made more sense.

In all honesty, Syani was taken aback by how serious Takato sounded right now. Her eyelids are actively blinking at his attempt in explaining something, her brain busy deciphering what could Takato meant by that..
Though, whether she fully understand it or not, her answer's still the same either way. "No."
Syani answered that straight-forwardly and held firmly on her response. She actually looked rather solemn instead of how bratty her answer is. Then, the half-vampire stated her opinion to try and let Takato to see her point now.
"I'm not sure where you're going with this, Taka-chan. But as insanely scared I am of this place, I won't run away unless you're with me. I'm afraid, but I will fight back if they dissed me enough," there's still the tear streaks apparent on her cheeks, but her golden eyes no longer held tears. No, they were firm, protective...and strong even.
She almost lost Roy back there, and that scared the hell out of her...which in turn had effectively triggered a huge explosion in the process. If ONE more person she knows is bit by those things, then she swore she would go off in a mad plastic massacre.
"I'll listen to your command, but I don't guarantee I'll obey. I would do what I see fit in that situation. That's final," she said, completely serious. A bit stubborn, but serious nonetheless.

Of course she would say that. Of course she would understand right away and denied it. She didn't pretend she was going to obey. She just said strait out that she wasn't if it came down to it. Takato sighed putting letting his head hang a bit. Guess there was nothing he could do but make sure that they all lived. Takato would never forgive himself if something happened to the 3 of them. "Fine then.... Lets go" Takato said in defeat. What else was he supposed to do? What else could he have said to make it to where she would listen. Takato knew more than anyone that Syani was stubborn, thickheaded and would never do that. Takato was ready to die if needed be. If it meant for them to live. Takato would do it. Takato only guessed that if the moment came, It would happen.
Takato then grabbed Kida's shirt, Tossing her back on to his back. Syani was the more powerful one here. She could make things explode at will or if freaked out enough. Meaning she shouldn't put all her power into carrying both of them. He was lost for words at the moment. Not knowing what to say to a disobedient follower. Takato's thoughts were jumbled. He tried to think of Uncle Seiji, who was known to be the greatest admiral to live the country. How did he do it? "Ready?" He asked her as he started to walk down their next path.

Syani was supporting a smug grin when Takato sighed in defeat, to which the half-vampire took a sign that she just won both the argument and saving the lion's life probably. At least she hoped for the latter. All hell's going to break loose if her adopted brother dies..
When Syani noticed Takato had made a move to grab Kida, she prepared herself to focus and lifted Roy off the ground smoothly with her telekinesis, moving his body quite higher than usual, since she needs to have a clear vision in front of her to attack, if required.
"Ready."
And she followed close behind Takato as he moved to their soon-to-be battlefield.

A gray ball of fur hopped down the hallway, wriggling its nose and sniffing out the curious scents wafting through the stagnant air. It then stopped and stood on its hind legs, twitching its ears to listen if the steady footsteps of his master were still following it.
Sure enough, Dr. Montangue followed his pet, walking languidly through the corridor.
There have been strong radar responses from the East Wing about organic lifeforms that did not behave like the Syns. In addition, the signals seemed to be that of sentient humanoids trying to find sanctuary in this desolate city. It has been days since anyone who was still uninfected had come this way and, being a doctor, Priom had started to lose hope. The more days that pass, the less chances that these signals were humans or demihumans.
Priom had his suspicions but, by his oath, he was responsible for saving anyone out there who wasn't afflicted by the virus.
He and his pet Hamlet continued their cautious walk down the hallway but stopped the as the frantic footsteps drew closer.

Takato continued down the halls. Mildly fast at that. It wasn't until Takato heard footsteps that he stopped. Signaling Syani to be quiet and to stay still. Takato tipped toed towards the corner of the hall, where the noise was noise was coming from. He thought it was another Syn. So he got in pouncing position. Letting out a soft growl. Takato took a step back. So he wasn't peering over the corner. Waiting and waiting as the steps got closer.
As soon as the man was in view Takato launged, leting out a mighty roar. Pinning the man to the ground, Takato took back his paw about to attack when he realized something. This Syn was no Syn... it was a man. Takato backed off the man. Man was that a mistake, human life was rare to come by and he almost just killed one. Nice one Takato. And to make matters worse, He was wearing a lab coat. Which meant two things. Scientist or Doctor. Both were good in a situation like this.
"Forgive me, I kinda thought you were a Syn"Takato said as he walked around the guy nudging him to get up. Takato really did feel bad. This guy was obviously not close to a Syn. He signaled Syani to come out of her hiding spot (or the spot he told her to stay still in)"Syani Its alright he's human" Takato called. Takato felt somewhat relieved to find a man in a lab coat. Hell, He was glad just to see a PERSON roaming around.

Syani tries to keep the same pace as Takato, hurrying pass through the debris and fallen cupboards and trash cans around, while still focusing her mind to carry Roy. She was abruptly stopped by Takato, who signaled her to stay quiet, at which she swallowed her spit and nodded.
The half-vampire leaned herself against a wall there, lowering down Roy from floating up too high to take a look of his current condition. She quickly placed two of her fingers at one of his eyes to open his eyelids and checks on his pupil, but then found out it's too dark to do so. She wished she could find a torchlight lying around here somewhere...
Takato's sudden roar made Syani jumped, looses her focus, made Roy fell on the floor and a random debris near her exploded. Good thing the rubble was already broken apart, so the sound it emitted was nothing more than the sound of Roy being dropped from a 5 feet height. She took her time calming herself by repeatedly doing her breathing exercise, when Takato called her out.
He also stated the magical words.
"Really?!" The half-vampire tried her best to not be too loud, but when she saw the said human, Syani can't help but to feel a wave of relief. She was about to consult the man to ask if he has anything that can cure Roy or wake up Kida, but then she saw the tiny little thing hanging near the human.
A...fluffy...animal of sorts. A pet maybe?
For a moment, Syani was distracted and just stared at the ball of fluff, "..Can I touch it?"
