"..........." Kida stared down at the unconscious woman.
"NOW what am I supposed to do with her?" Kida shook her head. "Yo, bar keep....throw her in a room or something." After all, the drunk was not her problem and this was a cabin. The woman probably already had a room here because Kida doubted that she had trekked all the way out here for just the drinks.
"Ish. Sit back down, Zeph." Kida walked back to him and sat on her stood once more. Holding up a hand for another drink (she needed it) Kida rolled her neck. "C'mon...have a drink to cool you down. It'll work."

Zeph was tempted to sack that drunken piece of crap outside of the cabin and bury her alive in the snow, but upon hearing the bar keeper's reply that he'll get the lady to wherever her room was, the silver-haired sighed and watched Kida walking back towards their seats.
Zeph sat down after she does though, and takes her advice in consideration, though he highly doubts it. It took him a long while to decide what he's going to do with the still untouched cup of dark brown liquor in front of him...until he pushes it over to Kida, stating a quiet, "No, thank you."
...By God, he just revealed his own weakness there, and he didn't even realized it.

Kida had barely brought her new drink to her lips when Zephel slid his to her. She glanced at it, then to Zeph, then sipped hers. "What, are you afraid of it or something?" Kida had met plenty of people who didn't like to drink for various reasons. Taste, quanity, their beliefs or that they had a weak stomach. "It may look like an odd color, but it's good. Just don't chug it..." Or his throat would be on fire like hers had been a few minutes ago.
Or maybe he was just afraid of being drunk. Kida had heard of that too, but mostly from women, so she didn't think that could be Zephel's reason. She had her money on the unusal color of the nameless alcohol. "Yo, Barman...what is this called anyway?"

"Nira!" The barman from the other side of the long serving table replied enthusiastically. He made his way towards the two with a large beer glass in his hand and a cloth at the other to wipe the glass as he smiled.
"From Asia! It's a normal festive traditional drink initially, but like any other great wine, after being kept in time, it turns out to be a rather strong liquor!" He boomed a laugh. The barman's voice was rough and loud, so even when he speaks normally, it almost seems like he's yelling it out.
"Don't push till 5 chugs though, you won't last. Nobody can! Hahahah!"

Zeph twitched at this barman. The large stature, the raspy voice, the way he talks... Somehow the guy strongly reminds Zeph of... "Gorilla man..." He whispers out, audible enough for only Kida to hear, then clasp a hand onto his forehead to rub his temples, annoyed at the sudden appearance of his baker-mentor look-a-like.
He took a glance of the liquor he just slide to Kida after the gorilla twin's statement. Such a tiny glass, but 5 chugs are the limit? It strikes as strange to him as to how exactly alcohol works inside the body and messes up the system. "The more reason for me to avoid the thing, thank you."

"Don't avoid the question too, Zeph. It makes it so obvious you're trying to hide something." Kida leaned on her elbow on the bar, only moving the drink back in Zephel's direction. "Spit it out. Afraid? Never drank before? Allergic to alcohol, what?" Though the last was a lame excuse if she'd ever heard one, she'd actually heard it. "Just saying that you simply don't like to drink would have been fine. That you don't like the taste...whatever. Naturally for the first, I'll ask you why." she shrugged.
"But that's just natural curiosity."

"I'm not hiding anything." Zeph stressed the last word, annoyed that it seems as if Kida just hit a weak spot of his. "I just don't like to take things that has even the tiniest possibility to effect my brain...in any way. It's messed up enough through Reinhardt's torture." And also to avoid things that he has no idea of.
He stared and glared at the glass Kida shifted back to him, as if it's some sort of a drink of doom. With his new control of telekinesis, he moved the glass back with his mind back to Kida before looking back at her. "And I'm not drinking it."

Kida rolled her eyes. "No need to get pissy about it. I understand what you mean. But you know, Zeph, just one drink won't get you drunk. Especially if you consume it over a period of time rather than just throw it back." But she shrugged anyhow, knowing the logic would do nothing to persuade him. Not that she was hell bent on getting him to drink--though she did have to admit the very idea of Zephel being drunk was laughable.
"So I guess you're not too up front about cigarettes and stuff like that. Since it's a vice that doesn't effect the mind." Save for the addiction and all that. "Actually I don't know if I can picture you smoking either." Although she didn't smoke herself and knew very well the ill that could come of it, Kida unabashedly admitted that smoking made someone look cool. "Might be fun to see."

And within that short period of time, Zeph decided that no matter how powerful his telepathy is, it would be almost impossible for him to understand how the female mind works. He stares back at the dark liquid in his glass, then slowly contemplating in his head whether to accept Kida's newly given information or not.
Slowly, that small glass of liquor floated in the air, and hovers itself near Zeph's eye level. He was half considering to try, but then the glass slowly lowers down and landed on the table with a light thud.
"You got it right again." He said about the smoking part, and shot Kida a sideway glance at her last sentence. "Fun? How can messing up my body system is fun to watch?" Seriously, he can't read Kida at all. She's sort of unpredictable to him, but that made her all the more intriguing to figure out.
"You almost made me want to drink that." He cocked his head to the alcohol. "Close. But thank you for sparing me enough to not force me to."

"Pfft. Yes, because I'm going to force you to the ground, hold your jaw open and pour the drink down your throat." Kida chuckled spiritedly. "I'm not that cruel. Or screwed up." Kida tapped the bar, ordering a lighter drink that would come in a larger glass that she could nurse over a period of time. "I didn't mean it that way. I mean you just don't seem like the type to smoke, that's all. Hell, I don't smoke. But I'll admit that it does give a cool sort of air."
"Deadly, but cool." she smirked. Kida chuckled again. "Tell me more about yourself, Zeph. I've know you for, what, two years? And still I feel like there's a bunch of stuff I don't know about you. Like the drinking thing." She smiling companionably at him as she sipped her drink. Kida was truly curious about Zephel. She knew that he could be quick to anger, didn't tolerate stupid people, worked hard and expected others to do the same. He came off sort of apathetic, but considering the way they had met Kida knew that he wasn't exactly what he seemed. She chuckled to herself as she thought, in his own way, Zeph was sort of adorable.

"Ha-ha, I can see it happening so vividly." Zeph replied to that half-threat of hers, with that signature sarcastic tone, of course. He watched as she ordered a larger glass of alcohol, that slight creasing of his eyebrows indicating he's half-worried if the woman would drink till she lost all of her senses...mentally included. But then again, this is Kida. She won't loose herself to anything that fast.
"Cool?" He repeated, not really getting what's the function of that word in this life. Hikaru had repeatedly said that to him, but Zeph never gets it. Though, he had placed it in his head as something positive, so he only nodded slightly.
Zeph had supported his upper body on the counter with his arms crossed loosely, but he somehow slipped a bit at the sudden surprise of her curiosity about him. "What? Jeez, what is it with you people wanting to know me, but yet I have nothing to let you know about." Kida just said almost the exact same thing the others in the school had, and this strikes as peculiar to him in any day.
"Actually, Kida, I was about to ask the same thing of you. All I can gather about you is some random scribbles in Hikaru's journal. So why don't we trade random facts of ourselves, hm?" He ended that sentence with a small smirk, guessing the whole Orphion-frickin-abandoned-me event has a good outcome after all.
Though, it's his turn first, it seems. Zephel sees himself as someone dull, and boring. So the element-wielder really has no idea what is it about himself that his allies didn't know about. It's not that hard to read a tedious person like himself. "Uh...I'm allergic to rabbits...and would ceaselessly blow my nose till the annoyance was removed?" That was on the top of his mind after a moment trying to recall random quirks of his. Perhaps he needs some tips how to start off.

Kida chuckled. "Uh, okay... Here. Let me start." She straightened, fixing her posture and turned to Zephel. "I was born and raised in near a town called Gamesh, in a small house on a hill side outside of the town. My parents are still there, living happily, I'm sure. I have a single sibling, my twin brother who loves to remind me that he was born first." Kida smirked at the thought. "I haven't seen any of them for three years--my mother will kill me when I show my face again--and despite it all I actually miss Darel." Not to mention her personal hero, her father.
"My dad was the local dojo master and he trained both my brother and I after I begged him to--oh yeah, I guess that was a big deal because my father has usually only let their sons learn martial arts and the daughters had to nurture their abilities." Kida grinned. "Well Darel and I didn't care much for that. So we both played with martial arts and about the time I left we both started working on our abilities. And no, he doesn't do hydrokinesis and you call it." No, Darel was an odd duck.
"There." Kida said, smiling as she sipped her drink. "There's a good, juicy, starting tid bit from me. Now you."

Zeph found himself staring and listening attentively to Kida's back story, half-turning himself to the woman in wonder. Frankly, he's never in a situation where he's needed to formally uncover his background, or the other way around. ...But it sounded worth enough to try.
"Why the three years of absence from your family?" he asked instantly the moment she finished, though more curious of her twin rather than her reason actually. Zeph started playing out the possibilities of what the other sibling's ability is, but refuse to let his curiosity known. Instead, he took Kida's offer to try his luck.
"Right. Let's see..." Quite a challenge for a person who suffers of memory-loss, but still, Zeph's not about to back away. "I'm not human...to start. Since I'm not born normally, instead I'm made from the major elements present on this planet; fire, water, air and earth. My siblings are also made from other different elements...Hikaru for one, is an essence of light. We're from Mount Etna somewhere, hidden from civilization and human development, I guess.
He paused for a while, eying yet another drunk person walking pass behind Kida. then reverted back his attention to her. "I'm apparently the main wielder...since I exist with all four elements infused within me. The others look up to me, I'm their eldest brother in their eyes. Some war broke us apart, I was blown off to DD with my memories lost, Hikaru came in my life while smacking family albums in my face to make me remember, I left after a while to accompany my dragon in his search for his mate, and now here I am."
He seemed eager to end it, and he is. The sudden uneasy feeling of revealing his past to another soul bothers him a bit...or maybe he's not used to it. "How was that?"

"Ah..." It was the only thing she could come up with after being given so much information. "That explains some stuff, I guess. Especially the whole 'you guessing' you could do hydrokinesis. And yeah, that was good. It's nice to know more about you." Kida was indulging herself by swiveling back and forth on her stool slowly. She was prone to fidgeting like this and most of the time didn't realize when it was starting to bother others.
"As for the absence." Kida shrugged. "I still communicate with my family. Letters, phone calls. my brother's been out of reach the most with his whole going off on his own to train thing. He has the habit of forgetting that life is going on around him sometimes." Kida chuckled.
"We've got a pair of brothers, don't we?" She smiled just thinking about Hikaru and Darel. "Have you been keeping in touch with Hikaru?"

One of Zeph's eyebrows twitched at Kida's constant fidgeting with the bar stool, he kept quiet about it though, to see how much longer can he take tolerating her annoying habit. His attention was quickly drawn back to her once she mentioned about her absence.
"Well Kida, older brothers tend to do that, if you haven't noticed." He responded with a slight smirk to her, then turns his attention to his untouched glass of liquor. At the mentioning of Hikaru, he lifted a small smile unconsciously. "Nah. We don't write. We can sort of...feel each other, and communicate during sleep or something...I don't know. It's an element-sibling...thing."
He paused for a while, contemplating if what he just said is believable. "...Just tell me when all of it started to sound ridiculous."
