"That's true, but that doesn't mean I can't respect your point of view. This is what makes interaction with people so unique. Each person has their own beliefs, personality, thoughts and feelings. Just because you don't feel comfortable in doing something doesn't mean I feel offended or anything like that. I took what you said to heart because i respect you even though we just met."
She nodded assuringly.

"Oh..." Kida blinked. "You know...not a lot of people feel that way anymore. They do get offended and disrespectful when they meet someone who doesn't share their views." It sucked and was really annoying. However, it was also what Kida had gotten used to. So much so that meeting Mitsuko and hearing her views and that respect threw Kida off.
"So, uh... I guess I should say thanks. Ya know, for being respectful."

"Heheheh, no its okay. So, Kida can I ask where you came from before you came to this country? Were you at the DD academy before?" [/color] Mitsuko wanted to get to know this person a little better, meeting new people was always a joy as she began to understand the world around her.

"Yeah actually. Right now I live in Fijion, but I used to go to DD Academy. Originally I'm actually from a country quite a ways from here." It was a trip that Kida didn't plan to make again any time soon. Instead she kept in touch with her family via email and phone.

"Oh I see. I live at the Alamo Inn.. and we really need customers like every other place in the world its having its share of hard times a well. I went to the DD academy too since I was 16. I was there for four years and then I left to run my family's temple."
Mitsuko kept the fact that she was resurrected by the heavens since she had a lot more to do and that was helping people as much as she could just like her mother did before she died in sacrificing herself for her daughter. She kept all this information to herself, since she hardly knew Kida, but once she gets to know this individual more and more she will be more then willing to share her life story. This is one of the reasons why Mitsuko wanted to show her empathy to the fallen soldiers, because losing someone she cared about was close to her heart. But again she respected Kida's point of view and that wasn't ever going to change.
People are entitled to their own opinions, beliefs and values. We may not agree with them all the time but we can respect them, this is what Mitsuko understood quite well and this is the beauty of life, when people respect each other without attacking the other or preaching to them, then we have very good relationships with people in general, at least we hope so. "You're family's temple....is at the Alamo Inn?" Kida asked, rather confused by that. She was sure that wasn't the case, but that was sort of how it sounded to her at first. "What temple is it...?" Kida stroked Bec, who was still sitting on her shoulder, only now he had fallen silent since their conversation was continuing. Such a good little fire-lizard.....sometimes.

""Ohhh no I didn't mean it like that. What I meant to say was that I was at DD academy for four years, but I got a letter stating that I had to go back to Japan to run my family's temple there, and now since i have come to the country side of DD I reside at the Alamo Inn as a place of residence., as well as working there to help out." She explained more clearly this time but smiled.
"Have you been there? I know it doesn't have too much but it is peaceful there."

"Ah, no, but I do work at the Cattlemen's Steak House. I've recommended that inn to a customer that came in though." Kida shrugged. "I've never been by myself just because I live in Fijion." It was a long way to go for a mediocre job, but it was the only job she had. And Kida needed the money so it wasn't like she really had a choice in the matter. Stable jobs were getting hard to find right now so she'd take what she could get.

"oh I see. Well if you ever do need a change of scenery then you are more then welcome to stop by, it would be nice to see a familiar face once in a while right? haha I consider you a friend already, so I will be very happy if you came by and said hello when you got the chance."

Wow, she was sure making friends fast these days. Kida only hoped she could remember everyone's name at this point. "So what exactly do you do at the the Inn? Are you a maid or a cook...or, uh, one of those ladies at the front who you get the room from?" Kida's mind had failed her in the process of trying to remember the word for such an occupation.

"I do a little bit of everything. An all around house keeper. I sometimes work at the reception area but that is a rarity since there are others that do that. However if there was a mess to sort out I could play mediator to try and keep the peace, since there are children there with their families."

Reception. That's it. "Mediator...?" Kida laughed. You would think a family could figure out it's own problems for itself but she guessed not. "So you're like half counselor too? Sheesh....I hope they pay you a lot for that job." Making people sit down and talk out their problems probably wasn't fun. Kida hadn't personally tried, but trying to play shrink for Takato every once in a while with his water phobia told her she was just not made for that kind of thing.

''They pay me what they can afford to pay me. haha it's a hard task but at the same time I like harmony and balance. hmm What's it like working at Cattlemen's stake house? is it enjoyable at all?"

Kida arched a brow. "It doesn't sound like peace and harmony if they pay you 'what they can afford'. The way you say it makes it sound like that's not very much... And not to be nosy or anything, but... well it doesn't sound very nice." Kida couldn't imagine this girl sticking around with a job that she didn't like however.

"I get what your saying, but I think its best for me to just start small and work my way up. I may not be at the inn for the rest of my life but at least it's a job that I can manage for the time being, and no your not being nosy at all your just making a point."
