Seeing Michi was like a ray of hope. That there was hope and that they could get through this. And that there was hope for Kiara and anyone else who may be injured or hurt. Not to mention Michi came from the sky. "Michi!" Yelled Iku as she ran to her. Wrapping her arms around her. It really was a weight lifter seeing Michi.
"You have no idea how good it feels to see a familiar face!" She said
Kiara was glad Michi came too, not only for Iku's sake. Seeing her truly did help her not be so scared anymore. And for that Kiara herself was grateful. To be honest she hated seeing Iku upset or worried. Even if it were for a little while. Michi could help Tyr and Iku so much just by being there for them. Kiara then bowed her head down to Michi displaying the wound. She never had a faith or trust issue with Mitsuko, So when Mitsuko said to trust her it was no problem.
'You of all people should know i trust you' Said Kiara to the angel

"And I'm glad to see you all too... When I got the news I was about to turn in at the local inn.... but then there was panic."
Mitsuko smiled at Kiara and she began to treat her wound by placing both her hands over it and began to emit a healing light. She could feel Kiara's pain as she was in process in healing her by extracting out the infection with her angel's pearls of light these forms of light took the form of a glowing bracelet.
Each pearl of light began to trap the infection began taking it away from Kiara. The stench of the infection was overpowering at times but Mitsuko managed.
She then took out a cloth and began to bandage the wound but she didn't put the cloth on too tight just enough to get Kiara to a safer location. The infection had gotten extracted from her but of course she had to replenish herself since she would be more exhausted after treatment.
The cloth also had a healing effect to it as well so even if Mitsuko is still not manually doing the healing this will help too. The patterns and colors were bright and festive and at a time like this bright colors were always best since they represented joy, cheer, hope, and happiness.
"Hm... Tyr, Iku... is there a place where Kiara can rest? My powers can start the healing process but rest is important as well as water and food... I know it's important that we all stick together.... but... Kiara... it is advised that she rest..."
Mitsuko then looked at the two, as she gently touched Kiara to assure her that she will be alright and that she has people that care about her and know that she will pull through this struggle.
"How are you two? I should take a look if you both got hurt as well... I couldn't bear it if something happened to you guys as well..."[/b]

"We're too out in the open here." Tyr commented while looking around to make sure that no Syn can sneak onto them. He tried to think of places where they could allow Kiara to rest but he wasn't very familiar of the place. The only places he could think of were far away and out of the country. While he didn't doubt that Kiara can still fly, Tyr didn't want her to fly long distances or even leave Gradia until he was sure that she wasn't in danger of becoming a Syn.
"We have no choice but to explore a bit more. We can't stay here, we need to find a secure place that Orlith and I can defend easily." After his statement, Tyr summoned his staff again knowing that they might bump into Syn's along the way.

The young angel shivered. They couldn't just move fast because of Kiara's injury- she was in the process of getting better but at the same time Tyr was right they had to move. But how could they do so when the dragon was suffering?
"Iku.... " Mitsuko looked to Iku and hugged her. it was obvious that Iku was heartbroken because of what happened to Kiara, there is no bond stronger then the ones between dragons and their riders.
"I promise that all 5 of us will get through this.... but Tyr is right we can't stay here." (5 meaning Orlith, Kiara, Tyr, Iku and Mitsuko).
Mitsuko stood up lightly. "I wonder if there is a way to get Kiara to where we need to go without her flying and stressing herself out. there has to be a way."

Iku smiled as brightly as she could. She had hope in her heart. Which gave her the will to keep going. She knew what Michi was saying, Kiara needed rest in order to get better. But Tyr was right too, We cant sit here way out in the open. Iku stood there debating for a minute bringing her hand up to her chin. She then looked to Kiara, as if she were looking for answers.
"I say we move to a safer place, Theres no need for all of use to get injured on my account, Besides I still have some energy, I'll be fine"
"Are you sure about that?" Iku asked her, she was worried for Kiara's sake. But the black dragon just shook her head. Iku complied, She couldn't really fight with her because she knew it was the right spot.
"Ok then, Lets not waste another minute" Said Iku as she then turned around looking at her surroundings. Iku then started walking in the direction she felt was more safe. Signaling everyone to follow her.

"Remain alert though." Tyr told them before moving, walking down the metal path of the park. He kept looking around, feeling for movement, and taking it upon himself to protect the two women as much as he was capable of. So far though, the park was quiet but it was the same silence as when they had first arrived. It was less ominous and more peaceful. Tyr thought that perhaps it was because the ambient noises have return. He could hear the rustling of tree leaves and feel the soft breeze that he knew was artificially produce because it felt a bit too uniformed to be natural. Gradia was a weird city indeed.
Orlith walked awkwardly on the metal panels, a bit annoyed at the slipperiness of the path. Her gigantic claws dotted the ground she walked on, making those tinkering noises with every step. She didn't like walking on metal like this, it made her very uncomfortable. She was used to walking on rock, stone, and dirt, materials where her claws can provide traction. She could barely propel herself forward as she walked. Orlith's irritation was explicitly displayed by the thin string of smoke coming out of her nostrils. How was she supposed to fight on this?
Tyr was almost tempted to let his guard down after twenty minutes of wandering in the park. There were no signs of the Syns but there were also no signs of normal people. Maybe they really should just fly off at least out of this place? Tyr let out a sigh but ended up jumping out of his skin when he heard the brush rustle. Almost immediately, he had his staff at the ready. "Who goes there?!" He called out, hoping that it was an animal or a normal human.

A young girl, perhaps no older than ten, came crawling out from under the bush, crying. She wore the standard clothes of Gradia citizens, mostly monochromatic shades of either blue or grey. She sniffed, trails of tears were obvious on her dirty face, before she asked in a broken voice, "Are...are you...are you people?"

Mitsuko followed everyone in the direction that they were going in. As she followed she did remain alert as much as she could but to be honest she was uneasy at how quiet and isolated this place was. However just as Tyr called out "Whose there?!" She saw a young girl crawl out and was crying.
"!! A.... girl... ! Poor dear she looks so scared...."
Mitsuko then walked over a bit from the group but not too far since they didn't know what was going to happen, but at the same time she wanted to comfort the girl that was afraid and crying it broke her heart to see someone in distress.
"It's alright we won't hurt you...."

Iku was walking with suspense around every tree. She felt a small presence closing in on her. Iku's heart pounding like a drum. She felt scared and nervous. Infact when Tyr yelled, Iku jumped turning towards the moving bush. Iku was only relieved when she saw a young girl. She let out a sigh, trying to calm herself. She was so glad it was a lost alone crying girl. Wait Crying girl? It took a minute to realize that this was a young girl. Who could now be without a family. She seemed frightened, even scared to come near everyone.
Iku didn't want to seem heartless, she really did feel for her. But after what happend to kiara. Iku wasn't about to take chances, with the possibility of her being infected. Iku stayed behind Tyr. "Are you lost?" Iku asked, trying not to seem heartless.

The girl stepped back, obviously afraid, and shook her head. "You're...not...them, right?" She asked. Her voice was so meek there was no telling just what horror she had witnessed. "M-mommy told me to...hide." Sniffling, the girl wiped her face, muddying it up even more. She looked uninjured despite the filth and the fear that seemed to have overwhelmed her small body. "They were...so...they were so scary. I--I don't know where Mommy is..." Still incapable of conceptualizing death but old enough to feel loss knowing that her mother may not return, the girl cried as she wilted onto her knees. Her sobs were so powerful that it shook her entire frame.

When Mitsuko tried to approach the child, Tyr stopped her by blocking her with his staff. He shared the women's sympathy and, it were any other time and place, he would have helped and consoled the child but there were too many dangers here that his instincts urges him to be specially cautious. His gaze swept the surroundings for any danger. It wasn't because he thought that the Syns might launch an ambush against them--he wasn't even sure if they were capable of doing that--but because he didn't know if the girl was infected. Regardless, Tyr would help her but that nagging voice in the back of his head warned him of the possibilities. Carefully, he walked towards the girl and while he was doing so, Tyr checked for any signs of bloods. There were none.
Finally, he knelt in front of the girl and asked, "Are you hurt?" His question was only answered by a small shaking of the girl's head. Her answer made Tyr sigh in relief. The girl was clean. She was scared and dirty but she was uninfected. Tyr looked back at his party and gave Orlith and apologenic look. He should have known better that since Orlith wasn't troubled, the girl was just fine.
Tyr turned back towards the girl and said, "Come with us, okay? We will take you to a safe place." He then carefully picked the girl up in his arms and walked back to Michi and Iku. To the angel, Tyr said, "Michi, can you take a look at her? She doesn't have wounds but that doesn't mean she's not injured in any way."

"Of course." Mitsuko took the little girl from Tyr and began to take a look at her. From her body language and her emotions of fear the first thing the angel had to do was calm the little girl down.
"it's alright.... We won't hurt you. For now while my friends and I look for a safer place you may rest and keep calm, and trust us." The little girl however continued to tremble. As Mitsuko felt the girl trembling in her arms she hummed for a bit, and also let a dove come and to watch over the girl.
Mitsuko then spoke to both Tyr and Iku.
"She seems to be emotionally unstable, which is understandable since she just witnessed something horrific and traumatizing."

Iku was still quite unsure, as to rather if it were safe or not to take her with us. At the same time she felt bad thinking such a thing. When Tyr gave the ok that she wasn't bleeding. Iku calmed a bit. The little girl looked familiar almost. It was Iku was looking in to a mirror of herself, when she was that age. It was once she got separated from her dad. Iku shook her head snapping out of it. Now was definitely not the time to be reminded of the past.
"Our best option right now is to find a safe place to rest" She said. She was already worried about Kiara, now she was worried about this little girl. Iku then turned around looking at the path before her. She wasn't so sure she was safe anymore, or who else was out there. Iku had the feeling that once Kiara recovered, That, Iku, Tyr, Kiara and Orlith would be playing transportation to a safe place. For those who are injured or lost or just simply had no place to go.

Mitsuko nodded in agreement. She too was worried about Kiara but at the same time she knew that Kiara was going to be okay she believed in the dragon as much as she believed in all those with her at the moment.
"Once we find a safe place to rest then we should consider some options as to what to do next. If our other friends are out there somewhere then hopefully they have joined with someone that they know... And if that's the case then perhaps we'll be seeing them as well..."
She paused for a second just to take a moment to brush away the girls hair from her eyes, and then looked at Kiara.
"How are you feeling Kiara?"

"I think's best we keep on moving. There is really no way of staying out of danger when we only have trees around." They needed an actual infrastructure. While the park trees over some cover, it also covered enemies that might be lurking about and that didn't sit well with Tyr. He turned his gaze up and saw skyscrapers reaching for the clouds. If only they could find a building big enough for the dragons to fit. Tyr thought himself that if this city had such huge buildings then they're bound to be somewhere they can hide not only themselves but also the dragons.
Tyr glanced at the women for a while then started moving forward down the path once again. There was no use staying idle, especially now that they had a young girl to worry about. Tyr wondered where the girl's family and friends were but things weren't looking very bright. The girl's family might already be dead or worse...turned into those Syns. The Weyrleader wore a grimace as he walked.
Orlith watched the whole scene with wisdom in her eyes. The Silver One was fearless but she felt pity on the girl, a mere hatchling in her eyes, left abandoned. She knew that it couldn't be helped but a fire in her chest wanted to incinerate those man-made creatures for doing something horrible. Lowering her head near the girl, Orlith gave her a sniff and a gentle nudge before lifting her massive head once again to follow her rider.
