Background
The 6 element-siblings is a hidden family living in Mount Etna, hiding themselves from the developing world, though they are called as Quintessences in ancient wisdom. They weren't born, nor made from human hands. Instead, they are formed from the natural elements of the Earth. So, every time they die, they are reincarnated with a new sibling that represents the same element as the one that died before. They need each other for their strength to support themselves physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. If one is missing and the location of the lost Quintessence is unknown, then each of them has to suffer from severe power-loss, making them totally feeble.
A rather unexpected invasion and a battle has erupted in their home. Though the siblings won the war, their Main Wielder, Zephel is no where to be found. Zeph had lost his memory, all about his family and his race are gone, all but his name. He enrolled in a school called Diabolic Domain, and there, he met a young redhead who admits himself as his brother named Hikaru. Through Hikaru, Zeph had managed to recall bits and pieces of his memory, and finally regains back his lost identity as the Main Wielder of the Quintessence.
After a few years, he has grown to be a fearsome warrior and a skilled Rider, along with his now grown dog, Zi-Fi and his fire-lizard, Ryo. Even his dragon, Orphion, had matured to be a proud father of 3 batches of dragons now. He was living in DD rather contently with steady jobs and excellent grades, until his dragon complained. Thus, the reason he escaped the school is purely because of Orphion wanting to meet Kiara, the Weyrwoman's black dragon. And so, he sets off (after making sure Hikaru can take care of himself), into the outside world.
Personality
Zephel is a cold and distant man right from the start, but he is strangely the perfect person to tease. The wielder doesn't know how to socialize with people, much less starts a conversation, mostly because he gets annoyed easily and he doesn't want to hurt others with his attitude. He seemed pretty grumpy most of the time, but he isn't such a bad guy once you get to know him. Although sort of snobbish, Zeph can handle any responsibilities given to him. With minor complaints granted, but he can get any job done perfectly.
Zephel also possesses quite a rage when something bugs the heck out of him, either when someone invades his personal space, or when anyone plays around with his personal beliefs(mainly of his obsession in respect). Usually wearing a straight face, Zephel is brutally honest in stating out his thoughts at any given opportunity, monotonously. Though, he covers up his cruel statements pretty well by making it sound sarcastic with his dull flat tone of voice.
In short, Zeph is just one of those types of people who's rather unfriendly generally, but is actually kind of sweet under the shadows of his rough demeanor.
Weapon and Abilities
Zephel wields a broadsword that grows along with his strength. Since he is at the peak of his age, his broadsword is the biggest it can be at the moment, becoming a zweihander and weighting pounds. It isn't a problem for Zeph in maintaining and wielding it though, for it grows as it sees fits with Zephel. It will shrink smaller if Zephel's strength was depleted, and would become only but a normal thin sword when he is unconscious.
For abilities, Zephel possesses the four elements of the earth. He is capable to burst out an array of fire, altering the course and strength of the winds, controlling the earth and following the water's flow.
This makes Zephel entirely capable to use the power of his elements along with his sword, providing him a lot of possibilities on how to use such a fatal combination of physical strength and elemental control.
Thus, it is not a good idea to piss him off because he will literally fight like this.
Strengths
Mentally, Zeph stands his ground of his beliefs pretty firmly and due to his calculating mind, he isn't bad when it comes into planning something too. He doesn't panic easily when pressured, instead just calmly guides himself through the problem...unless his composure snapped. The time he spent with his crazy Telepathy and Telekinesis teacher, Anthony, had shaped his skills with the art of the mind to the next level, although he still haven't learned to control it very well.
Physically, the silver-haired is very strong and agile and would turn out to be a powerful ally if you get onto his good side. He can release the powerful forces of the elements he possess in a flash if needed, but he only uses it as his last resort. His sword skills has improved quite a lot through the years, and with Hikaru constantly hurting himself back at DD, so is his bone-mending skill.
Weaknesses
Although Zephel seemed strong, he holds a great disadvantage hidden in his body. That said liability is his endurance. No matter how skilled he is with his sword and his elements, heck even mending bones...Zeph is pathetic at maintaining his energy. He has a lower power to withstand even the most mundane of tasks than normal people, shockingly, and would tire himself out after 6 hours normally and a total of 4 times in one full day. Thus, he turns to eating energy bars and drinking coffee/tea quite a lot, which then became essential to his daily needs, birthing a reason for his mood to be foul a little bit too often. He also stores hand-made emergency energy potions hidden in his jacket for a quick energy refill that could make him last through the day without fainting out of exhaustion if there's no caffeine in sight.
His personal weakness in communication is also widely known to the students of DD, and since he had lived with Hikaru before, it only made that little flaw of his a little too noticeable. It's very rare of him to start a conversation, unless with an ally he already knew, but when he did, there's no stopping his biting sarcasm to flow. Zeph also turned out to be such a workaholic, since he think of others before himself, he tends to overwork himself to fatigue as he always thought of his fire-lizard and dog needed to be fed...and forgetting his own mouth to feed.
Appearance
Zeph had given his pair of blue goggles to Hikaru as an awkward farewell gift and replaced his head-accessory to strapped a sort of a black-blue headband on his silver hair. He had also changed his style of clothes and ditch the cape-sheath thing on his back to get himself a decent jacket for once and a belt that can actually support his sword's weight. The many pockets of his jacket only but benefits him into storing some random satchels of Zi-Fi's dog food, Ryo's fire-lizard food, his energy potions, and other mysteriously strange items nobody would even thought of storing inside mere jacket pockets. Besides the fact that Zeph had grown over 170cm for his height, there's not much difference of his facial features...only that his skin is a bit toned by the trainings he'd gone through, and his blood-ruby eyes now smaller and sharper.
(Simply to say...Zeph had grown into a [insert word here] XD May his snobbishness entertain you all from hereon. LOL!)
