Pet: A white bunny rabbit, named Ace. Matthew sometimes calls his bunny rabbit Mr. Bun- bun as a nickname.

Grandparents: Jean Cross (Matt is Jean's pride and joy he loves his grandson and always gives him extra spending money when he comes to visit him, and Jean was the one that coached Mitsuko as she was giving birth telling her to breathe.)

Personality:

Matthew speaks his mind often, thanks to his father's encouragement in order for him to learn positive self esteem, but he speaks his mind so often that it gets him into trouble sometimes, since the children his age can get offended by what he says, and can sometimes see him as a mean spirited child. It isn't his intention to hurt person’s feelings but he feels that being honest and saying what you think is important.

His parents instilled that in him at such a young age when they caught him in his first lie about eating all the cookies in the cookie jar that was sitting on the counter, and Matt blamed it on his bunny rabbit. From that day on he realized that lying is wrong and honesty is the best policy. He is only five years old and doesn't understand everything around him, but as he grows and matures he will soon understand that some things are better left unsaid, especially when he is faced with a situation in which he can't find the right way to express himself.

Like his mother Matt has a tender sensitive side to him, when he sees someone in pain he can't help but to hug them-- even when he doesn't understand why a person is crying he hugs them anyway, heck he would even hug a stranger in two seconds once he sees a person crying. He's shy around girls though so whenever a girl approaches him he goes all rosey in his cheeks and smiles, but he gets quiet.

When he is with boys his age however he let's loose and tries his best to fit in with boys his age. While that can be a challenge because of his softer side there are a few that accept him as he is, and as his parents taught him: Be yourself. Don't be someone that you aren't.

Matt is very good with numbers, he can do math in his head instantly and when he does his father Zero has this big smile on his face, as Matt inherited a part of Zero's intelligence as well as his father’s will to be independent-- while there are times in which Matthew wants his mom to do everything for him, he was taught that he has to learn to do things for himself-- even managing his own allowance at a young age and spending it wisely. He gets five dollars every week and it's up to him to manage it per week, and not spend it every time on candy.

As Matthew gets older he will become a friend that can be a shield to other people or that sword that stands up for other people when they can't fight for themselves. He has heard stories about Zero's adventures as a bounty hunter and while some parts of it did scare him, parts of his father's stories motivated him to be protective of others too especially his mother Mitsuko. He has a strong connection to his mother as she carried him for nine months, but he also looks up to his father Zero.

While his mom is very tender towards him, Zero gives him that strength and push he needs to grow into the man that his father and his mom knows that he can be. Matt has made a secret promise to himself that he will not let his parents down, he will make them proud and in the process show the world what he is capable of, and that is to be a hero like his dad.


Biography/Background:

Matthew was born on April 5 in the quiet prairies of Sougen. He is the only son and child of Zero and Mitsuko, who was conceived shortly after his parents, married, and is a result of the purity of love that his parents have for each other. Zero and Mitsuko always talked about having a child and starting a family, but they both knew that before they bring a child into the world they had to take care of some personal matters first since their child deserves to enjoy his childhood and not be burdened by things that haunts Zero and Mitsuko's pasts respectfully.

In addition to personal matters, Zero and Mitsuko ended up creating a home that their son can grow up in. They spent countless hours in decorating his nursery, and picking out stuffed animals, and color schemes for their son's room. Mitsuko of course suggested bright colors as she wanted their son to be uplifted and happy, and bright colors can bring out the best emotions for anyone especially innocent babies.

Being newlyweds of course has had its own challenges but it was nothing that Zero and Mitsuko couldn't handle, it made their love stronger with each challenge and now their life is peaceful.

At 1:05 PM on April 5 Mitsuko gave birth to their beautiful son Matthew. He had the tiniest nose, eyes, and fingers, and the pinkest skin you could ever see but when he opened his eyes for the first time, the first people Matt saw was his parents with his big blue eyes.

Time her labour lasted? 5 hours. For some first time moms labour can last for days.

He was born with a heart condition, though thankfully with Mitsuko's ability she has stabilize that condition which can be controlled with medicine, which he has to take everyday to keep his heart healthy, and because of Mitsuko's angelic healing his body will respond to his medication and he will be able to live a healthy life, he just can't push himself too hard physically.

Zero was sitting beside Mitsuko on her hospital bed and when he was given the chance to actually hold his son in his arms he cried happily. Zero and Mitsuko finally had a child of their own, and it was a child that they had wanted for a very long time. While raising a family has a great deal of responsibility, their son is a constant reminder of their love for each other and he wasn't born just because he could be born, he was brought into this world because his parents wanted him.

They loved him so much from the day Mitsuko said she was pregnant. Now five years have passed since Zero and Mitsuko have gotten married and had their son, and their home life is anything but quiet.

Matthew is always keeping his parents on their toes but he loves them very much. He was brought up in a house that is full of life and love, though whenever he sees his parents kissing he goes all red, and sometimes he goes: "Aww can't you both kiss somewhere else?

But you just know that he is so glad to see his parents so happy.


Strengths:

Matthew is a natural leader, once he's given the chance to. He has the ability to astound people once he was given the position, and would most likely awe others of how well he could handle things that aren't even practiced in his range of age yet. This will most probably shock others because he's so timid all the time that others didn't even see such strength exist inside him until it was asked out.

Matthew is as innocent as a lamb in springtime, and it is one of his greatest charms that the hard knocks of life will seldom embitter him. Although he's rather weak physically, Matthew is incredibly strong both mentally and emotionally. He was taught by two of the strongest people in those categories, and he's not aiming to bring them down.

Inheriting his mother's artistic side, Matthew has an eye to capture the beauty of anything. He uses the camera that was gifted to him on his 5th birthday to capture everything he sees from his childish eyes, for a child can see beauty from everything. Other than his mother's artistry, Matthew also inherited his father's mental strength with numbers. Logic and imagination always goes hand in hand with this child that sometimes people thought he's a genius in disguise.


Weaknesses:

Matthew has a weak immune system and is known to get sick very quickly and easily so he has to take his vitamins everyday despite him hating the taste of them. There have been moments in which he spit out his vitamins in a napkin since it tasted so bad especially the orange flavored ones.

Since he is only five he can sometimes be fooled by a persons intentions, and this worries his parents since he can find himself in a dangerous situation in a matter of minutes.

Due to his heart condition he can't push himself physically such as running for example but because of his medication, his heart condition is well controlled so he is in no immediate danger, though he has protective parents that constantly tell him to take his medication.

Weapons and abilities: Since he is only a five year old child he doesn't handle any weapons whatsoever, but when he turns into a teen there is a high chance that Matthew will inherit the clear eye when as he grows older. This is because both his parents are range attackers, Mitsuko and her bow and arrows, and Zero and his gun and bullets. Clear eye means he can see the distance well and can easily adapt to any range weapon of his choice.
