Without an aim in life, Rayne wandered the frozen countryside. He hadn't brought proper clothes for walking around in the cold, but he held an expression that looked as though it didn't even bother him. Despite this appearance of not minding the cold, he felt it very strongly after walking for so long. His only consolation was the midday sun that shone brightly down on the snowy hills.
Rayne was not expecting to see any sign of civilization for a lot longer before he came across a diner; Cali's Diner to be exact. With a huff of air that froze in front of him, Rayne made his way towards the building and entered.
On the outside, the diner looked like it was in great condition, but the inside was not as decent. Inside the diner, there were a number of lights broken and a couple of technicians were working in half of the restaurant. Only one half of the diner was fully functional and cleaned up from what looked like a gun fight based on the bullet holes he identified in some areas.
Rayne stood there a moment longer, surveying the scene. There were not many people there and, the ones who were, seemed to be in serious chatter; regarding the gun fight that occurred, he assumed. He moved towards an empty table in the corner, his guns hidden just under his over shirt.
He noticed a menu already was on the table and picked it up to look over it, waiting for a waiter so he could order water to start. After the long walk in the snow, Rayne was parched. He held a straight face and leaned with his right elbow on the table, the side of his chin resting on his fist. He held the menu in his left hand as he read over the selections.
