The leaves danced wildly at the sudden force swirling near the waterfall, and from no where, a figure clothed in dark purple materialized from thin air...but not so gracefully, even with the elegant wind entrance..
"Wha...WHA--iiyyaaaahh!" There goes her legendary scream. Quite a few birds escaped the area by the disturbance, moments before a loud BUMP filled the air. Leaves fell back to the green grass beside the waterfall...and so is a certain half-vampire.
"OW... ow, ow, ow..." Syani pushed herself up from the ground. She's been transporting herself a lot lately, but even after the years of training, it's possible she messed up her own strong point at one time. This time for an example, instead of transporting on the ground, she reappeared in mid air, about 10 feet off the ground. Hence the loud bump.
She chose the Achira Waterfall as her destination for a reason, though. The rushing waterfall here is perfect, and the fact that this place is rather hidden makes it a favorite swimming place. But Syani isn't here for swimming...
"Right. This place is gonna be my monthly stress outlet." She stated out as the half-vampire stood, stretching herself. Smiling all the time and trying to make everybody happy without letting herself go is making its toll on her...she's stressed. And with nobody to talk to, she resorts to this method...
Stepping near the waterfall, Syani closed her eyes, takes a deep breath, and without having a second though, just hopped into the air, and dived in the freezing rushing water. Her hair flows with the water current as the half-vampire stayed underwater, touching the soft sands underneath and the rocks nearby.
Sound waves traveled faster in air than in water. And the sound traveling underwater can't travel up into the air. Syani's trying to use this piece of knowledge.
Sitting underwater with her eyes closed, Syani then opened her mouth as bubbles escaped from it, before letting out one heck of a scream...underwater...where no one can hear her.
After a while, Syani popped her head out of the water, breathing heavily, and wiping some water out of her face. Walking through the current, she finds a rock to sit on to squeeze some water from her long black hair.
"Gosh, that was relieving." Syani let out with a heave of sigh.

Rayl, as usual, is training her element. Stepping on the lake as she usually does, it's a part of how she concentrates her body ON the lake.
But of course, since she was training. With her keen ears, a loud splash disrupted her thoughts about training. She sighed as she was been wet because of the lady who childishly dived.
She looked at the black haired girl who seems to not sense her, she sighed as she heard her say something.
"Gosh, that was relieving."
"Relieving for a lady who enjoy something as that without even noticing someone is with her, eh?" and that was again a surprised! Rayl, have composed out 17 words in a sentence.

Syani quickly looks up, surprised to see an exquisite lady, delicately standing on the water surface. She was startled at first, at how wet the lady is...and assumes that was her own doing since she just dived head-first into the water without even checking if somebody's near.
"Oh, jeez, I'm sorry!!" Slipping off the rock to make her way towards this girl, the half-vampire bows in apology to her, her long wet hair slipping off her back to the sides of her face with a slap on her cheeks by the inertia.
"I'm so sorry~! Gosh, I didn't mean to do that, really." She stood back straight again, the water current she's standing in almost pushed her off balance. "I-I...gosh, I don't know how to help and dry you up." Scratching her wet hair, the childish half-vampire grinned sheepishly at this new person.

Rayl looked at the woman with an amusing eyes as she watch her apologize. She sighed as she rolled her eyes off as she formed all of the water that makes her wet because of a certain woman who have dived childishly in the lake. She formed all the water into her hand and let it flow back on the water she stood.
"Don't worry..." she started as she looked at the woman as she let the water flow back below. "I control water..." she finished as she looked down at the water.

Syani gasped in surprise, watching the woman with her golden eyes widening. The way that girl formed the water in her hand, and drying herself at the same time, is so...
"COOL!!" The half-vampire let out, her lips now wide and grinning. She then brings up both her hands to clap wildly, thoroughly amazed. "Hydrokinesis!! Wow, that's an AWESOME ability to possess!" Still clapping, Syani started to laugh out for no reason...out of excitement perhaps?
"Hey, you know, I can do that too! With telekinesis! Oh, but..." Syani reached out her bat-shaped necklace around her neck, "Heh. I can't." Still smiling, the half-vampire then looks up to this mysterious woman. And towards any other new person she met, Syani flashed out that same grin she used that had attracted several others whom can now be considered her ally since her childhood years in Youkai High...and she said the same line too.
"Hi! My name is Syani, I'm half a vampire! What's yours??"
The childish girl holds up her hand far high for a handshake, since half her body is still in the water, and Rayl is completely on the surface of it. Syani's eyes is so wide and innocent, and that smile of her looks almost indestructable.
...The typical 'Hi-I'm-Syani' introduction. She never changed, after all.

Rayl was at first shocked at the girl who seems to be amused at her skills. And the second, she was flabbergast at the childish act of this black haired maiden in front of her.
But of course, who wouldn't be proud of someone's skills if someone would praise her about it. Yet, Rayl is Rayl, she isn't alike of this maiden who would be so childish and bubbly. She was afterall, Rayl the Rouge Assassin of the Village of Morroc. The cold-hearted, lone wolf half-breed girl.
As Syani, stated her almost bubbly introduction. She raised an eyebrow, "A half vampire?" she couldn't help but thought out. "She is a half-breed also... the same as I am," she added as she glanced at Syani's features up and down.
She looked down at the maiden's hand whom is willing to handshake ith hers. She sighed as she walked easily at the water, "I'm Enzan Rayl of the Village of Morroc," she introduces as she, surprisingly holds the maiden's hand... and bringing her up. Making the half vampire also stepped ON the water.

Syani patiently waits for her hand to be accepted, still smiling cheerfully up to this woman. In truth, she kind of despises to touch others, granted that she possess a type of fear towards touch, but in order to get to know people, she tries to shun away that rediculous fear. As shaking hands is a rather common welcoming gesture.
At first, the half-vampire was ecstatic when the girl accepted her handshake, introducing herself as Rayl. "Rayl!! Hi! It's a pleasure to meet yoOOUUU!!" Syani half-screamed when the water suddenly pushed her up, causing her to stand on the water surface also. It's a good thing this woman already holds her hand, or she would loose her balance and fell flat on the water...or in the water...whatever.
Surprised, Syani turns to Rayl with wide eyes. "H-hey...wow..okay. This is...both scary and awesome at the same time." She let out with a nervous laugh, but soon that laugh turns into a more happy laugh. "Village of Morroc...I'm afraid I never heard of that before..but...wow, I'm sure they're pretty grateful to have someone as cool as you."

"H-hey...wow..okay. This is...both scary and awesome at the same time."
Rayl looked at the maiden with an amused eyes, she have never met anyone so bubbly, carefree and childish specie ever in her wanderous adventure. She just merely nodded slowly, thinking to just nod back at her bubbly statements.
"Village of Morroc...I'm afraid I never heard of that before..but...wow, I'm sure they're pretty grateful to have someone as cool as you."
Rayl suddenly frowned at the black haired damsel's last statement. She suddenly pulled her hand slowly, making Syani stood on the water all by herself. She sighed and looked down. "I must disapproved at that," she let out as she suddenly looked at Syani with a seemingly narrowed look. Yet her eyes weren't those menacing at all. Her eyes only held those sorrow and pain eyes.

Syani noticed that change of mood within Rayl, as that deep frown of hers totally confirms it. Just as she's about to investigate more deeply, Rayl suddenly left her alone on the water, freaking Syani out.
"H-hey!" Her arms quickly flew apart from each other, as if she's balancing on a thin rope, but once the half-vampire realized she's not falling in the water, she sighed in a relieving manner, hoping the water she's stepping on would continue to 'solidify' under her.
Syani only blinked her large curious eyes at this girl in front of her, now regretting of what she assumed. "Uh...I'm..not gonna ask why, but I apologize for bringing up some unwanted memories or anything." She held up her hands in defence, that sweatdrop and rather guilty-looking smile seemingly natural on the half-vampire.
"But I'm not surprised." The half-vampire shrugged her shoulders, "Even before I learn your name, I can guess something must've gone bad in your past." Scratching her wet hair, Syani looked down at her soaked purple attire, still with that smile on that face. "Even the most happiest of person have something tragic about their life. So, quiet people must have had double the grief. Bleh..."
The childish vampire sticks out her tongue happily, as in waving off what she had said. "I don't like to see it like that. I mean...everything happened for a reason. That's what fun about living, the riddles of life!" She babbled off, now looking up towards Rayl's sorrowful eyes. "...I learn its better to share your sadness than endure it alone, Rayl-san."
As they say, innocence can never last. Behind that childish facade, there hides a more mature side of Syani that would randomly came out when the time is calling for it. This moment is one of those times, apparently

Rayl looks at Syani whom have made a long speech, she sighed coolly as. She grunted, "For a lady like you... you seem to be so childish, yet mature..." she suddenly let out, her eyes then turned down to the lake. Raising her hand in mid waist, she was concentrating her power to levitate water. "An odd combination per se..." she muttered.
Just as the water raised, she tried to moved it from side ways, making the water dance freely as she slowly waves her arms. That's like waht Katara does... ^-^;;

Syani immediately burst out laughing the moment she was called a lady. "Ahahahaha! No, no, you got it all wrong, I AM childish. That maturity just...automatically grows along with this body." Waving her hand at that, the half-vampire then watched what this girl is doing, though still keeping a smile on her face.
Syani's eyes grow wide at what unfolds in front of her; the water is levitating itself. "Whoah!!" She outburst, dropping a jaw and stare in awe of Rayl there. Though Rayl seems cold and scary at first, when surrounded with water she's completely beautiful.
"Water seems to be your affiliate, huh?" Way to point out the obvious, but she can't stop staring at the floating droplets of water. Sure she'd seen basically everything there is to know about mythical creatures and their ludicrous number of water of super abilities, but she enjoys seeing each and every one. "Wow, okay, that is COOL. Where'd you learn to do that??"[/font]

Rayl was a tad surprised as she looks at the hypered gal in front of her who suddenly looks more curious and excited at her water. She hmm-ed a bit, nodding at her answer; it was her body language meaning 'she listens'. As her hands sway almost delicately, controlling the water. She looks at Syani whom grinned almost childishly.
"I controls water and ice... I'm a half demon..."' she simply said, like that isn't a big deal to her. But IT IS! Because in their village, they were all cursed and threated as trash. Those things that she never wanted to feel anymore. But looking and hearing such a good comment rather some trash about her ability, she was proud at her skills.
"I learned when I was a kid... suddenly controlling water when I closely drowned..." she uttered softly yet sighed. "After I was pushed by some kids way back."

Syani was still smiling when Rayl explained about her breed, and just stare at the ice maiden with that same cheerful smile. Though she doesn't look like it, the half-vampire managed to pick up that look the assassin has in her eyes.
"So...you're seeking for acceptance, and love?" Syani asked with a twinkle in her eyes. "Half-breeds are treated poorly because they don't belong in both their half-races. But I'm happy that I'm a half-breed because I don't have to belong and I don't need acceptance, and I just kinda do my own thing without bothering about the rules of both races. Hahah!"
She paused her semi-laughter, but still held that content smile. "I admit it sucks that you got pushed off and stepped on like that, but don't feel sad about it. Look at the bright side! At least those kids who pushed you made you learn this awesome skill!" The half-vampire clapped in glee, staring in awe of the swishing water around Rayl.
"...Sometimes, you just gotta let go of the pain, and be grateful that it happened... Or else, you wouldn't be standing here and be so cool!"
