“I sense that you have a lot of fond memories of Kyori don’t you? You don’t have to share them with me if you don’t want to, as those are your memories with her and they are special.
Just like me and the love of my life, who is my best friend in the entire world. Without him I believe I would lose my strength, he holds me up when I am down and he just tells me that everything is going to be okay.”
Mitsuko blushed at when she thought about her relationship with Zero, and then she looked at Remi taking note of Kyori’s hair color.
“If I find Kyori should I bring her to you? I can’t picture myself not reuniting the both of you with each other, much less being apart any longer. From the tone that you had when you were praying for Kyori, I get the picture that you haven’t seen her for a long time. I’d be more than willing to help with that too. Unless of course you would like to surprise her. It’s up to you though.”
“I’ll tell you a little about myself. I’m 23, I love flowers, my favorite colors are pink and white, I teach children, and I just live my life in where I can help other people but also get more out of my life that I was given."

Remi, facing off to the side, glanced down a bit as he thought over the years he spent with Kyori since she arrived as a baby on the doorstep of the house he lived in after his parents gave him away to cover their gambling debts. He recalled always refusing her request for him to teach her things, ways to live and survive in Veyyard. He recalled all of the things that he would tell her every day in hopes that she would eventually leave Veyyard and never look back or return.
Remi clenched his fists slightly, angry at his unfortunate circumstance. Although, without it, he would have never met Kyori, but because of it he must be separated from her.
At Mitsuko's next question, Remi turned with slightly widened eyes to look at her and responded immediately, as though it was something urgent. "No." He said straight away then calmed down immediately after, listening to what she was saying next as he turned away again. Remi clenched his fists as a small glare returned to his face. "She must never return to Veyyard..." He said a bit quietly, a slight hint of anger behind his tone, although it was not at anyone present nor at Kyori.
Taking a minute to calm himself down while Mitsuko began to talk about herself, he closed his eyes and put his palm over his face again while taking a few quiet deep breaths. When the glare was removed from his face, leaving it the same cold glance as it was before, he turned back to face Mitsuko again. "You're only one year older than she is." He stated matter-of-factly, without much purpose to the comment, only thinking of Kyori and the age she must be by now.

“As a woman myself and I have to be honest with you Remi, I know.. that she will want to reunite with you. There is something about a woman’s heart that is so fragile when it comes to the ones they care about.
My boyfriend did something similar but before we even started dating, but just children that are best friends, he left because he had made a promise to himself to do so if he became too much of a burden. So when he left I didn’t see him for 10 years, and within those 10 years I got amnesia and forgot who he was to me.”
“My memory only came back last year when I did reunite with him by chance when he was on a mission. When we reunited everything came back to me, like a rush of memories came back, he was that missing link. I.. I can sense that you miss Kyori Remi. You have your reasons why you don’t want her to go back to Veyyard, am I allowed to take a guess as to why? Because it’s too dangerous.
“She will insist to see you Remi, I can tell that much. She will most likely not stop until she sees you again. If I didn’t lose my memory I am sure I would be insisting to see my dearest too, and stop at nothing until I felt his embrace. For the wellbeing of Kyori… I just fear that she may get very sad if she doesn’t see you.”
Once she meets Kyori she can’t lie to her about what she has been told, she’s an angel and lying isn’t what she can do.
“Is there a message you would like me to give to her at least? To give her some comfort since she can’t see you?”

Remi listened with a slight glare as he looked away again and clenched his fists. "She must never.... see me again..." He said after a bit of hesitation, a bit of hatred boiling up inside of him, yet also fear. He left her with dreams so that she would leave and explore and never look back. If she were to return, however... He didn't know what might possibly happen.
Remi looked back over at Mitsuko again. "If you do see her... don't let her return here... don't let her find me... I refuse to see her again..." He said with clenched fists, looking away again at the last statement. "She'll survive... so long as she doesn't return..." He added a bit quieter in response to Mitsuko saying that she would get sad if she doesn't see him again.
When Mitsuko asked him if there's a message he wants to pass on for him, he flinched slightly then thought about it. After a moment, he stood tall and looked at Mitsuko with that cold intense glare of his. "Tell her never to return to Veyyard... That I don't ever wish to see her again. And if she returns against my wishes... I will hate her for it." He said in a strong voice, although it was both the truth and a lie in the same message. It wasn't that he didn't want to see her, it was that he couldn't or felt he couldn't. Even more, he never wanted her to find out what he really did.
Remi felt torn inside, although he always felt completely certain about never seeing her again. He did indeed love her, but he couldn't stand the thought of her knowing the truth. He couldn't allow her to remain in Veyyard with him. So the best thing, he figured, was for her to remain far away and explore and meet someone else and live somewhere peaceful and wonderful outside of Veyyard. This was what he wanted for her... something he would never be able to give her, for he would never be free until the day he dies.

“I’ll tell her what you told me. I’ll deliver the message. I just hope in time that you do reunite eventually if there was ever a chance.
I can tell that you love her though it’s very clear you can’t hide it even if you tried to. Well at least from an angel. I feel the pain that you do have but I sincerely hope for the best for the two of you.”
Their love is a tragic love story of forbidden love. I feel my heart breaking for them but I am sure in time things will turn around.
The angel was now in the midst of their story and she was going to help in any way that she could, but her first priority was taking care of Kyori, and helping through her stages in life and helping her grow. Perhaps she may learn something from Mitsuko herself.
It wasn’t going to be easy but in all honesty the angel knew what she had to do. Even though Remi wasn’t fond of being touched and he could even push her away if he wanted to, but out of respect the angel gave him a gentle hug and released him.

"That must never happen." He responded, then turned away again to look towards the stained glass window. "My feelings don't matter... They'll disappear over time..." He said, although he wasn't entirely convinced of that. "The fact of the matter is that it can never happen..."
Remi tensed up as he felt the angel suddenly hug him then release him. He looked back towards her with a somewhat skeptical look in his cold pale blue eyes. "What was that for?" He asked, staring her down, greatly disliking the feeling of others touching him even if they were just trying to be nice.

“That hug is to try and comfort you, I know you don’t like others touching you but sometimes a hug can just remind someone that people care. Even this stranger. I’m glad we were to get the lines of communication open.
I must go though to check on the little boy, but if we ever meet again I’ll let you know how Kyori is okay?”
Hopefully in time Remi will become a little bit more welcoming toward Mitsuko, but she was happy how their meeting turned out. The meeting with Kyori may be a little tricky, but again solid friendships take a long time to develop.
There will be times where people don’t like each other, but being acquaintances at least help keep the peace. while not everyone will like Mitsuko, the angel will always continue on in being a friend.
“Please take care of yourself.”

Remi listened to the angel as she spoke, relaxing himself again slowly. "Yeah... okay." He said after her question. "Just... don't let her come looking for me..."
"You too... Careful walking the streets... or even flying them..." He added, knowing that one could be a target regardless of where they were. He looked away for a moment, then looked back at her again with a serious look. "If you ever see me on the streets, pretend you don't know me... That's more for your safety than mine." He finished as he made his way around her then and towards the exist.
He stopped about halfway and turned partway to look back at her again. "Whatever I say... I mean one hundred percent. Regardless of how you may think I feel. So when I say not to recognize me on the streets, I mean it, on the streets, I don't know you." He finished with a sharp look in his eyes before turning and finally heading for the door, lifting a hand to give a small wave from behind as goodbye.

Even if Remi didn’t say it out loud Mitsuko knew most likely that she had softened him up a little and his actions and words to her before he left was proof of that. While she didn’t know the connection he had with the bounty hunters, he still was a person that cared so deeply about Kyori.
She sensed that Kyori may be stubborn but who isn’t when it comes to the one they love. Mitsuko is stubborn too but she will try her best to make sure Kyori doesn’t try to find Remi, At the same time however the angel understood about being in love, and how it can rule the heart, because after all the angel was in a relationship with the guy she wanted to marry.
No matter how hard Remi tries not to show it, the love he has for Kyori is there and the angel can see it. When he gave her advice about pretending not to know him on the streets for her own safety she just smiled, as he was being nice to her. In truth this has been one eventful day but the start of a very interesting chapter. She waved back at him when he waved at her before he left, and then turned her attention to the room the little boy was in.
