Jean had arrived back at headquarters with the woman in question, in custody. He made her take a seat in the chair, at his desk, and he stood in front of the window as he started speaking. He wanted to know what drove this person to attack an innocent person, much less his adoptive daughter.

There were so many things going through his mind, and if he was able to have it his way then he would press charges against this individual, without a second thought, but that decision was Mitsuko’s to make, since she was the victim. To be honest he didn’t know where to begin with his line of questioning, but still had to ask this woman a few questions.

“Do you honestly take joy in harming innocent people? Especially towards a person who did nothing to you? Were you raised this way? If so then I feel sorry for you.”

Eve had gotten informed by Jean by what happened to Mitsuko. Eve had started to treat Mitsuko’s wounds the moment she and jean walked in. Eve had put on gloves to make sure that the blood didn’t touch her bare hands, and to prevent contamination.

She then applied rubbing alcohol to kill any bacteria from Mitsuko’s wounds, in order to prevent infection. The angel of course flinched but remained strong the whole time. Eve however had to ask:

“What was that lady thinking in attacking you? What if you got killed out there? I swear you and Mr grumpy pants are alike. Rushing into battle and getting hurt in the process. Listen I am not blaming you… but tell me the truth how did this happen?”

“I sensed someone needed my help. Being an angel you just know these things. So I followed my instincts and headed to the Iron Maw. There I met the young woman, she of course had this menacing look on her face and she did look like she wanted to fight me.

But I gave her a chance to change her mind by trying to talk it out with her. Seeing that I couldn’t reason with her, I told her to let out whatever she was harboring inside of her out. As it’s not healthy to keep things bottled up, for any reason. So I allowed her to battle me. I figured it would help her. People need different types of help you know, and if fighting was the way to go, then so be it.”

“I made it known to her that if she did murder me then she would have to answer to dad and to the rest of you. She would have had to live with taking someone’s life for the rest of her life. But as we battled, the cave in at the mines happened. I think that was a sign that we would battle each other for a certain amount of time. As in not to kill someone.”

“I don’t blame her. She just needs help, and I won’t press charges."

WRS just sit and ignore her situation now. She know her Rock Cannon was being taken for security reason, but it doesn't mean she would get scared.

"Yes, I wanted to fight with her, just like that lady say, but.."

She then grin, and stare at Jean.

"... I'm not fighting because want a help, but I really want kill her, just for fun. One more thing, I do FEEL A JOY by just harming people, either they're innocent or not, and either they did something to me or not. Who's care? It's my way to entertain my self. Who's know you'll be my next target, MISTER?"

She know she's just make this situation getting more worse, but she's just emotionless.

“It’s not funny, how can harming an innocent person be joyous and funny? would you care to explain that to me? You must have your own reasons why you are this way. What if you killed her? I know Miki views this as her way of helping you by using herself as YOUR punching bag, but regardless it’s wrong for you to just expect that everyone wants to fight you! You will not kill her, I won’t allow you to, and by the way she is my daughter.”

Jean was clearly angry and as much as he wanted to throw this woman in jail, he knew that Mitsuko wouldn’t want that to happen as she truly believed that this woman was crying out for help despite being THIS emotionless. Everyone has a heart deep inside, and Jean could read what his daughter felt.

“Miki… You clearly have a decision to make. I conclude that Veyyard is too dangerous for you to serve as a bounty hunter, I believe this is the third time someone has set out to harm you and I can’t take it much more. We can’t lose you Miki!

One day we won’t be so lucky, and I respect the fact that you are an angel and you will go out of your way to help someone, but not like this. I’ll give you as much time as you need to think about it, and let me know what you decide soon. I know we have transferred you in working in the office but even that can be dangerous.”

“I can’t give it up not just yet. Dad you know this better than anyone there are things that I need to do first before I turn in my badge, there are people counting on me, there are children counting on me am I supposed to just walk away? Everywhere in this domain dangers lurk!

Everyday someone gets hurt, everyday someone loses their life, and everyday I worry if I am not near you all, we need to figure out a plan, before I turn in my badge. You’ll get your wish I promise but you should make arrangements before I resign.”

“Don’t you understand? My light will never go out and I won’t die before my time, you know as well as I do I must do what is right. I keep my wing over everyone, whether they know it or not I am guiding them in some shape or form. My wounds aren’t fatal,

I fight dad. As much as bad things happen to all of us, it doesn’t mean we deserve it, it just adds to our growth as people, and it reminds us how strong we truly are. As much as I feel bad for getting people worried about me, I know they are there with me through thick and thin.”

Jean then went to Mitsuko as she finished her point of view, and hugged her tightly and whispered to her.

“We can’t lose you, if we did a part of us will die…”

Jean felt so torn, but he also knew that she did have a point. All he wanted to do was protect her.

Mitsuko hugged Jean back and smiled. "You won't lose me dad. Ever. And besides Zero won't let that happen either. Hahahaha. But I'm alive. And I will grasp life with both hands."
