After sharing his life philosophy, when Seance's eyes caught Evan's for a moment and the little boy spoke, Evan's eyes opened a bit wider. Evan's expression then softened a bit to neutral and he placed a hand on Seance's head as they were walking. "Anytime." He said in response to Seance's thank you, then brought his hand back to his own side.
Evan looked a bit solemnly at the boy as he spoke about his pledge and not being able to change how he lives his life due to his emotions over the situation. Evan thought about Seance's situation, what he knew of it anyway, for a moment before speaking again. "I could say that you are noble as well." He said finally as he faced forward again.
"Taking responsibility on yourself for others' sakes is not always an easy task, but if you have already decided to do so, then push through with all you have so that you will not have regrets." Evan turned his head slightly to Seance again after that. "That is my advice to you."
When Seance went on about 'Celeste' Evan grew slightly more curious on who this was he was talking about. When Seance finally explained, Evan's eyes widened slightly again as he looked at the boy, then looked forward once more as he thought. "Living by your emotions is not necessarily a bad thing, Seance. Often times it is when you act against your emotions when you feel regret over your actions. Because of this, I think it is far better to follow the route your emotions take you."
Evan looked over at Seance again as he responded to his explanation for why he takes responsibility for stupid people. He was a little amused by this boy and had already begun to grow fond of him. Evan could already tell that this boy had a sense of truth and wisdom beyond his years and that impressed him.
At Seance's additional statement, Evan faced forward again and placed a hand up on his own head as they walked and let out a small sigh. "You'll see just how obnoxious he is shortly. It's almost pointless for me to try and explain the great magnitude of his faults as there are few words that can correctly portray how horrible a man he is."

The moment when Evan patted the top of Sean's head, Celeste turned its head to the area where the child was touched. That gesture seems so strange for Sean that after Evan had pulled back his hand to his side, the little boy touched the top of his own head to imitate how Evan did it.
He didn't spoke anything about it though, simply just keep on walking and trying to catch up with the man. When Evan said Sean too is noble, the little boy whipped his head to his direction, now curious of what the word really means. "..What does noble mean..?" He finally asked while sporting a face made of stone.
"Words keeps appearing in my mind when I'm trying to form a sentence, and I don't know the meaning of most of it. ..I think it's Celeste's doing..." Putting his little hand on his chin, Sean then turned to the space on his shoulder, seeming like he's just about to ask Celeste, but that's when Evan adviced him to just push through.
Sean kept his head facing the man, taking a moment to understand what he meant and then slowly spoke up, "That's what I'm doing. ...Maybe it's for the sake of inner peace..." He wondered quietly.
After he had explained who Celeste is, Evan then told him another set of advice that following his emotions is a good thing. "You're awfully optimistic." He remarked, paused, and then added, "I didn't know what both those words even mean."
Still Sean kept his eyes on the man, his face straight, but now slowly admiring Evan more and more. He likes listening to advices, because he's not old enough to understand how the world even works, so he needs to learn as much as he can from old people.
The little boy kept quiet when his father is mentioned, only serving as a listening ear to him. "Okay," was his only respond, having nothing to add on the topic since he hasn't even met the man. "Celeste said you almost sounded like you miss him. ..What? Celeste, that is the oppos-- What do you mean restraint feelings.." Just after he had spoken, Sean turned to the space on his shoulder and converse in whispers.
After the whispering seemed to have died down, Sean turned to look at Evan again. "She said you like him deep inside. ..I don't understand her logic. I'm sorry."

Evan looked over at Sean curiously as the boy finally asked what the word noble meant even though he had been using it all along. As he went on saying that words simply appear in his head, Evan thought that to be rather strange. He considered the fact that this boy was Anthony's son and Anthony himself had telepathy and telekinesis as innate abilities. Perhaps Sean merely inherited something of that sort from him.
"A person who is noble has high moral principals and ideals that they strive to live up to. An example of this is in taking responsibility, such as you have decided to do with your parents. Someone who appears noble to most people also may stand up for others when they are being talked down to or save people from an attacker." Evan answered, trying to make his point clear to the young boy with the use of the examples.
Evan looked over at Sean as he called the teacher awfully optimistic. He was then further surprised again when the boy announced that he knew what neither of those words meant. Evan let out a small sigh and closed his eyes momentarily before opening them again. "Using the term 'awfully' in that context is like saying 'very' as in 'you are very' something. Optimistic is when someone has a more positive outlook on things. They don't focus on what's wrong in life but rather on what is good."
Evan was caught off-guard a little when the boy then said that his imaginary friend said he sounds like he misses Anthony. At that, Evan stopped in his tracks and stared with slightly widened eyes at the boy as he conversed with the empty space on his shoulder. When Seance looked at him again, Evan quickly moved up to where he was beside Seance and continued walking with him, staring straight ahead but a little down.
"Kid...." Evan began after a minute, glancing over at him again. "I'm starting to consider the possibility that your... imaginary friend... isn't so imaginary." He said after a bit, hesitating slightly on his wording as he stared forward again while walking. "It's not... really as though I miss him. Anthony's a pain and always has been." He said with a sigh, raising a hand against the back of his own head again. "I suppose there's some sort of sentiment, however..."

This is, quite possibly, the only time someone takes time to explain to Sean what exactly does the words in his head means. Along with examples regarding said words to make him understand better. "I see.." The little boy responded rather quietly and turned to look down to see where he's walking. "I've been using it right.. That's good.."
After Evan had also explained the next couple of words that Sean had just began to understand the meaning of now, the little boy began to look up to Evan with eyes filled with respect and admiration. "..You're a very good teacher, Evan.. ...I mean, an 'awfully'..'noble'...teacher.." There was a bit of doubt in his voice as he tries to use those two new words together with acknowledgement this time, and then smiled to himself slightly once he think he used them correctly.
He turned to find Evan to ask for confirmation if he's saying it right, but noticed the man had lagged behind him a bit. Evan caught up to him after a short jog though. There was a round of silence in between them for a whole minute until Evan addressed him, sounding like he's about to speak of something important. The little boy's eyes widened at Evan's sudden proclamation that Celeste isn't exactly imaginary.
"What..do you mean...?" Sean's voice clearly shows how startled he is. Once Evan continued about how he felt of Anthony, the child watched him in mild confusion. "What sentiment..? ...I mean, what is sentiment?" It's difficult to converse with a child who doesn't even know much of his own vocabulary that he uses, much less others' words.
"..Celeste said...you shouldn't speak to me about it...for now.." Sean had dropped his gaze from Evan, his head turned slightly as if to listen to something, possibly from the invisible white owl perching on his shoulder. "She said...I'm still weak." Sean pouted after he voiced that out and whipped his head straight towards where Celeste is supposed to be. "Celeste, that's really mean.."

Evan glanced over at Seance every now and then between his explanations and occasionally when Seance responded to him. He was very glad to hear that this boy acknowledged him as a good teacher. It always made him glad whenever he succeeded in reaching out to and teaching his students or others who just needed or wanted to learn something. Evan was further glad at Seance's use of 'awfully' and 'noble' after that in describing Evan again.
"Thank you, Seance." He said after a moment, looking back at the boy, glad to be helpful to him. "You will pick up these meanings very quickly, I'm sure." He said with a slight nod, a caring look in his eyes towards Seance.
Evan stared forward after admitting he may have sentimental feelings towards Anthony and let out a quiet breath of air as he lowered his hand again. His eyebrow twitched down slightly as he was asked what he meant. He had no problem usually with explaining things to others, especially those eager to learn, but the topic of Anthony always put him a bit on edge.
Evan felt a bit more tense as he was asked to explain the sentiment he felt. The teacher in him wanted to define the word sentiment for Seance, but he also still felt tense about the topic itself. Because of this, he felt a little relieved when Seance said he shouldn't tell him. He let out a quiet breath of air and looked over at Seance again as he continued, saying he's weak then speaking to Celeste again.
Evan let out another breath of air then placed his hand on Seance's head again, looking down at him. "I'm sorry, kid..." He said after a moment then brought his hand back to his side again, looking forward. "The word 'sentiment' is usually directed towards memories... particularly good ones which are sometimes missed."
He looked back at Seance again with a softer look on his blank face again. "As I said, I've known him for a very long time... You don't need to know the details, but he wasn't always the person he is now..." He said then glanced away. "At least, if he was, I didn't know it then..."

Sean seriously doesn't know why it felt so right to have a hand, Evan's apparently a first, to touch his head like that. It seems strange to the child because he normally hates when people reached out and touched him.
The whole while as Sean was distracted by that simple hand-on-top-of-his-head gesture, the white owl on his shoulder is sharp enough to stare at Evan and noted all of his visible expressions. Celeste craned her neck when Evan yet again placed his hand on top of the boy's head.
Sean squared his shoulders in slight surprise, but then relaxed himself as he turned his head to face Evan, blinking at the man's apology after that. He blinked further more at Evan's explanation, completely missing the meaning behind his statement and focuses it for educational purposes. Celeste is the one who picked it up and noted the boy.
"Oh..." He merely breathed out, both to Evan's definition and Celeste's explanation, "..I see." His head is facing down right now, seeming to really be thinking hard about something.
At Evan's quiet account of his thoughts regarding Anthony, Sean didn't show any response other than silently hearing this out. Celeste's the one remembering all these, crooning in a language that only the boy could understand. He could understand all the whispers of the creatures around him, as long as its directed towards him.
"He was...likeable..before." Sean concluded, but his tone almost sounded like he's questioning that out. Then, very slowly, he raised his head up and looks at the man beside him. "Do you.. ....will you hate me?" He rephrased his question after that slight pause.
"I understand I haven't done anything yet, but...." Celeste is speaking to him again, so he tilted his head to the side slightly to hear the owl, but his eyes stayed fixed onto Evan. "Do you think I will turn out like... ..like him?"
That man is his blood-related father. There must be something he inherited from that man that will make people hate him, at least, to Sean's hypothesis.

Evan's fingers flinched slightly at Seance's conclusion about Anthony being 'likeable' before. Recalling these memories troubled Evan greatly. He had cared so much for the younger Anthony, before that. Even still, Evan blames himself for not noticing sooner. His head was forward somewhat and looking away with his eyebrows knit together and a melancholic look in his eyes.
As he heard the small boy beside him ask if Evan will hate him, Evan's eyes widened slightly and his frame shifted back into his normal posture as he looked back over at Seance. He watched the boy as he continued to detail his question and Evan's eyes relaxed to normal as he did so.
When Seance finished his question, Evan stared a moment longer before turning his head forward again and letting out a small sigh. "You seem like a good kid so far...." He began, then looked back at Seance again with a straight face. "But... how you turn out is entirely up to you."
Evan looked forward and down a bit again, a melancholic look in his eyes as he thought and continued. "No matter what happens in your life... no matter how hard it may be to handle... You still are the one who chooses what type of person you become." He closed his eyes after that for a moment, letting out another breath of air, then opened his eyes and looked straight forward as he continued on.

Sean kept his eyes locked towards Evan beside him the whole time as he waited for the man's response regarding his question. Really, the child is too young to even understand the concept of freedom as a whole, especially about choices. When Evan answered and turning to look at him, Sean found it hard somehow to face the man and dropped his gaze.
He doesn't understand what Evan meant at first, mistaking the advise for something else. The man explained further and at this, Sean heaved off a sigh he never realized he was holding. "So if I did turn out like him one day out of circumstance, it's entirely my fault anyway because I chose to do so without knowing." He mumbled to himself silently, inwardly blaming his genes either way. "Why do I have to be related--"
And out of a sudden, Celeste flew off of his shoulder in a hurried flutter, causing the little boy to stumble a bit in surprise then snapping up his head to where his owl just flew off. "Celeste!!" He yelled, calling out a creature that no once can even see, "Celeste, don't-- Don't do that!" Sean continued to scream at the blank space above him, his small hands balling up into tiny fists as he glowered up the sky.
Then, slowly, his angry expression diminished into one that resembled surprise and then acknowledgement. The little boy then reached up behind him and pulled up the hood of his cloak to cover the top of his head quietly. Turning to Evan, Sean said in a calm voice, "She said it's going to rain badly. Really badly. Celeste went off to see how far the village is and if we're going to make it.."
There is a small scowl present on his face now as the boy cornered his eyes sideways. "I have to run." That's what the owl told him to do right before she flew off. "We have to hurry. I don't like how the wind is blowing." Because he certainly had been thrown off of his feet by a gale of strong wind before, and it is an absolutely horrible experience.

Evan glanced at Seance as the boy let out a sigh then spoke. He was a little confused about what the kid was mumbling, but quickly then caught on that Seance was talking about becoming like Anthony. Evan was about to comment on that before Seance suddenly stumbled and yelled out the name of his invisible owl friend as if the owl had just flown off.
Despite knowing he could not see anything, Evan glanced over in the direction that Seance was looking to see if he could understand what that was about. Evan looked back at Seance in time to see a rather intense glower to be on the face of a young boy. He watched as Seance's expression changed, wondering what sort of interaction was going on between the boy and the owl.
When Seance finally turned to face him, Evan stood silently listening to what he had to say. At that, Evan lifted his eyes to the sky again and slowly inhaled through his nose to see if he could pick up the faint smell of weather coming. Being a cat demon of some sort unknown to himself, all of his senses are more advanced than those of humans. The smell in the air was faint, but he could still pick it up. "I see..." He uttered quietly, then looked back over at Seance.
"Can you run unexpectedly fast?" Evan asked, certain that this boy could never match Evan's own speed unless he had an unexpected knack for speeding quickly. "I could carry you on my back to arrive faster than your expected speed. If you are worried about being a burden on me, let me say this now... It would be far more of a burden to me if you were to fall behind or get hurt in some way."
"So..." He continued, taking a step forward and kneeling down to make it easier for Seance to climb onto his back, glancing back at the boy. "I urge you to accept my offer."

Sean's face had contorted into a rare form of confusion mixed with annoyance at Evan's sudden question. "Is that a trick question?" He asked back, his face returning to its normal cold expression. "No. I can't-- I don't like running."
His eyes darted away from Evan as he stated so, now beginning to worry if he really does have to run. Sean snapped his attention to Evan when he suggested that he could carry the little boy on his back, his eyes slightly widened in fear.
"No," Sean immediately answered, hiding the fear in his eyes by looking down. Listening more of Evan's logic regarding him being a burden, Sean unconsciously shook his head lightly. "No, no no... There..must be another way..." His voice sounded strange, as if its wavering off its normally strong tone.
When Evan stepped in front of Sean and knelt down, expecting him to climb behind him. Sean tottered to the back a bit in obvious fear. "NO!" The boy suddenly screamed after Evan urged him, "I don't do well with anyone touching my body!"
He was still backing away from Evan that Sean did not realize there's a small depression on the ground behind him, so he got one of his heels caught inside the hole and fell backwards with a thump on the grasses.
His black cloak that had completely concealed his whole body before opened around him due to gravity. Inside the cloak, Sean wears a large dark oversized pants and a patched white t-shirt, but his shirt isn't the only thing that's patched. His skin is also.
There are many red lines along the boy's arms, there were even stitches going up his left shoulder. There's actually a variety of marks, some look like finger scratches, some look like rope marks, some from sharp objects, one of it looks like an iron, but most of it look like hits from blunt objects. And that's just only around the boy's arms.
Sean quickly scampered aside to push himself up on his feet in a matter of moments, clutching his cloak close tightly from inside. His eyes refused to meet Evan's. "I don't...do well...with anyone...touching my body.." The boy repeated, this time slowly and quietly.
"I will walk." He announced after that, now starting to walk pass Evan hurriedly without even giving a glance to the man.

Evan expected the small boy to reject his offer, but he reasoned that they could arrive to shelter faster if Seance accepted it. That's why he had kept pushing the idea in a very plain manner.
Seance's actual fear didn't become clear to Evan until his final urging, when Seance shouted suddenly. Evan's eyes widened for a moment and he stood up and turned back to face Seance again with intent to reason with the boy.
As he saw Seance trip, he was about to reach out and stop him from falling before what Seance had just previously said before his fall stopped Evan's arm in mid air. He felt guilty for not stopping Seance's fall, but his thoughts were cut short when he had finally gotten a clear look at his body.
Evan stood there, frozen, with wide eyes, as he stared at Seance's scarred arms. His arm was still frozen in mid air as he now could no longer erase the sight of this poor boy's scars. As Seance scrambled to his feet, Evan still remained frozen there for a moment, the image of the boy still burned into his mind.
What Seance said after struck Evan deeply. He finally lowered his arm to his side and his head lowered as well although his eyes remained wide in shock still with his eyebrows pulled down in a sort of anger. He finally began to wonder, then, who had done such things to this boy. The thought of someone hurting a child like that triggered an anger inside of Evan than only few people knew.
Finally, after a few moments, Evan's hands clenched into fists and his posture slowly built back up to his normal tall and strong stance. He turned around with one step as he released his fists and looked at Seance's back as the boy walked on ahead. Evan let out a quiet sigh with his eyes closed before opening them again and following Seance.
Evan slowly caught up with Seance, not taking his eyes off of the boy's back until he reached Seance's side. He walked there in silence for a moment, his breathing slow and deliberate to calm himself from the anger he felt towards someone hurting this poor boy.
"I'm sorry... Seance." Evan said gently, finally, after a few minutes. "I don't know what you've been through... but I'm sorry..." Evan looked over at Seance with almost a worried expression etched into his eyebrows and a serious look in his eyes at the last remark. He looked at the boy for a moment before facing forward again, not sure if there was anything more he could do to help him.

Evan was not supposed to see the scars, no one should be allowed in seeing these scars he bears. Sean clenched his jaws together tightly, angry with himself to have fallen and allowing his scars to be seen like that.
This wasn't the first time accidents like these happens. When he met that immortal dark angel before, his scarf got blown off by the wind, revealing the scars around his neck. Remembering these moments, Sean's eyebrows knitted together, getting more and more furious with how careless he is.
He does try to walk fast enough, but he just can't pick up his speed when his body would hurt if he strains his muscles. A lot of things happened to him, and he's not yet fully healed from those incidents. Thus, Sean took careful measures in not pushing to his limits so his wounds would heal faster, just to become another scar.
When he noticed Evan at his side, Sean kept his gaze straight forward. It's like Evan has seen his greatest secrets, and it thoroughly rattled Sean inside to have been seen like that. His body tensed slightly when Evan spoke up, offering an apology. At this, the little boy immediately whipped his head to look up at the man, an angry yet saddened expression clear on his face.
"Do I look so much like him?" He suddenly questioned. "Is my face that similar to Anthony Reinhardt that it overlaps with his?!" His tone slipped. Sean could feel his arms shaking in anger. This is why he needs Celeste, she could keep him in check by calming him down and stating reasons for him to do so.
His breathing is starting to get irregular, so Sean quickly tore his attention away from Evan to look forward again. There was a tensing momeng of silence from the boy, before he slowly whispered out, "..Why am I hated so much when my only crime is my similarity to him.... I don't understand.."
His voice sounded like Sean is near crying, when suddenly, he stopped in his tracks, his head now facing the spot on his right shoulder. "Celeste..!" The owl had returned, crooning at him in a manner that it seems like she's communicating with the boy.
Slight whispers could be heard from the little boy as he spoke to his imaginary owl for a short moment, filling her in with what just happened, and then, very slowly, he turns his head to face Evan next, his expression darkening. "Celeste has an idea. She needs you to knock me unconscious."
Sean paused for a while, shocked at what he just said, then hearing out what Celeste is explaining to him, and nodded slightly. Locking eyes with Evan again, the boy continued, "That way, you can carry me without me making a fuss.. ... ...Celeste, I did not fuss.." The rest of his words are inaudible annoyed whispers towards the owl on his shoulder.
After his quiet argument with the owl, Sean turns back his attention towards Evan to confirm. "Can you do that?"

At Sean's sudden angry questioning, Evan's eyes widened in shock again, looking over at Sean again quickly as he continued the question. His eyesbrows then twitched down in annoyance. "What?!" He asked quickly after hearing the accusation that Evan only worried for the boy since he looked like Anthony.
He let out a frustrated sigh after a moment to calm himself, facing forward. "I feel bad for what happened, not because you resemble Anthony, but because you are young and have been victimized by someone." He glanced over at Sean again, his expression relaxing more to neutral again as he heard the boy uttering a question of why he's hated because he looks like Anthony.
Evan let out another more relaxed sigh as he lifted his hand, initially intended to place on Sean's head before he stopped himself and instead placed the hand at the back of his own head, looking forward. "I don't know for certain who it is that hates you for your similar appearance..." He began, lowering his arm again and glancing back over at Sean. "But I only judge people based on their personalities and actions. Who they share physical similarities with is completely unrelated."
When Sean stopped suddenly and exclaimed his friend's name, Evan stopped also and looked back at him. So she returned. He thought as he watched the boy muttering towards his shoulder. When he spoke that Celeste had an idea, Evan looked at the boy with his full attention. What came out of Seance's mouth, however, caused Evan's neutral face to darken a bit.
Evan let out a small sigh, closing his eyes a moment as Sean conversed with Celeste again. He definitely could not raise his hand against this boy. He opened his eyes and looked back at Sean again with his neutral expression as he was asked if he could do it. He stepped closer to Sean, seeming to nearly tower over the boy now.
Evan crouched down a bit and, instead of knocking him out, quickly scooped the boy up over his left shoulder. He adjusted the boy quickly so that he had a good enough hold on him and began to walk again. "Sorry, Seance. I can't raise my hand against you. Please bear with me for a while." He said before picking up into a run, slowly getting faster and faster as he headed in the direction of the village.
He ran, ignoring any possible cries or shouts from Seance, until they arrived. When he was close enough to the village entrance, Evan began to slow down until he entered, walking now at a slower pace. As he walked now inside the village, he carefully placed Sean on his feet beside him. While walking through the village, Evan was glancing around to find a place that welcomed strangers to stay for the night.
When he spotted one, he turned in that direction and headed towards the small building. He glanced behind himself to Sean and told the boy in a gentle but firm tone that this was where they would be staying. Almost as soon as they'd gotten under the small overhang and Evan opened the door for Sean to enter, a few raindrops began to spit down.
Evan glanced at the spitting rain for a moment before heading inside only after Sean. He immediately headed over to the counter to request a room. He was told that there was only one room left but that it had two beds. Evan payed for the room for the night and took the two keys from the woman behind the counter, thanking her. He then turned back to Sean finally in the small lobby.
Evan was standing tall and had his usual neutral but serious look on his face. He handed one of the keys out to the boy. "Take this and go to the room. The number is on the key. I'm going to search the village for food to bring back before the rain gets too heavy." He stated, putting the other key in his pocket and headed out of the building with one last glance behind at Seance.

When Evan had stated the reason of his apology, Sean knew he messed it up again. He always encountered problems when trying to communicate with others that they often misunderstood him. "No.. You...you don't...understand.."
The worst part is Sean never knows how to make them properly understand. Whenever he speaks something out, it always turns out wrong somewhere that he wasn't able to get his points across correctly.
Still, once Evan told him that he will never judge someone by appearance alone, Sean felt a twinge of relief. 'At least,' he thought, 'I am Seance around this person, not Anthony..'
Thankfully, Celeste had returned to him before anything else transpires, providing an idea that Seance partly disagrees with at first but found it to be rather acceptable after listening to her reasoning.
Though, once he asked Evan for confirmation, Sean stepped back when the man approached closer to him. It is when Evan crouched and pulled Sean over his shoulder that the boy's eyes widened to its maximum extent. Evan's answer had infix an unpleasantly familiar deep fear, as if something heavy just fell inside Sean.
Immediately, Sean let out an ear-splitting scream. His breathing started to get heavy and his eyes began to water. "NO!" A sudden memory of a hot iron being pressed on his stomach flashes in front of his eyes. "NO!!" Another memory regarding a bottle being bashed against his head till it breaks. "NO!!!" The broken bottle was almost stabbed in his face as he raised his arms over his head to defend himself.
"WHY?!" Sean holds his head in a strain the whole time as Evan carried him, now having his trauma attack right in the middle of a run. Every touch, every movement, every sensation that Sean felt throughout the time being carried by Evan, memories of his trauma flashed in his head over and over. He did not stop screaming.
He only was awoken from his trance when Evan placed him down, now free from any sort of touch. The little boy immediately fell on the village ground, breathing heavily as if he was strangled, with his face thoroughly wet by his tears. Celeste landed softly on his shoulder, crooning gently at him to stand up.
Sniffing, the boy did as he was told, pushing himself up on his feet while wiping his face with his cloak. He paused when he heard Evan speaking to him that he had found a place to stay. Quickening up in drying his face, he dropped his head down, refusing to look at Evan.
Celeste flew off his shoulder, landing in front of Sean's feet, and then hopped its way slowly towards Evan, providing a way for Sean to follow Evan without looking at him. He followed Celeste quietly, a deep frown on his face as he passes by Evan to enter the door of the inn.
The child followed Celeste to the small waiting area, where there were seats placed for the guests. Seeing how Celeste flew from the floor on one of the seats there, Sean followed her and sat beside her, his head facing down the entire time.
When Evan approached him, Sean stayed still and quiet. When he was handed the keys, the little boy turned his head away from Evan, deeply hurt of what happened earlier. He refused to look or even take the keys from Evan's hand.
Seeing this, Celeste decided to take measures into her own wings. She flew from the seat she was perching on and grabbed hold of the key Evan is holding, pulling it away from his grip and gently drops it on Sean's lap, on top of his cloak. To a normal eye, it actually looks like the key was floating in the air towards Sean.
Next, to instruct Evan to be off with finding food, Celeste soared right through Evan, and there was a strange wind that blew against Evan, his hear flowing in the direction of the exit. After she had done what she can, Celeste returned to her post on Sean's shoulder, speaking to the boy gently.
"Child.. Let us rest in your room.. Take the key, Seance.."
"No.. I don't want to touch it when he's still here..." He whispered to her, keeping his head down low and waited for Evan to leave.

Seance's screams when Evan had picked the boy up startled Evan a bit. Even still, he pushed on to get to the village before the rain would start. Evan flinched at Seance's cries, feeling himself getting more and more angry and agitated as he headed towards the village. The agitation caused Evan to hold on a little tighter and run a bit faster. While focusing on his goal, the anger rising in his mind couldn't help but wonder what things were going through the boy's mind that made him react this way.
After placing Seance down in the village, Evan clenched his fists in anger. His eyebrows pulled down as he faced away from Seance to look out for an inn. Seance had been screaming in agony, as if he was being tortured. The scars on his arms clearly showed that he was abused before. Evan felt sick with anger at any person who would scar such a boy so terribly externally as well as internally.
He was relieved to find a small inn rather quickly and had called Seance to go in with him, taking deep and slow breaths to calm himself when he was walking together the building. When he noticed that they'd made it only just before the rain started, Evan was glad that he carried Seance despite the painful screaming. This way, the boy didn't get wet and therefore shouldn't wind up sick.
Evan watched Seance's posture as he was trying to hand the keys to the boy. Noticing his discomfort, Evan glanced away for a moment also. He looked back at the keys as he felt a light tug, surprised to see that Seance was not grabbing for the keys. He released the keys and watched them float over to Seance's lap. Could he also be telekinetic? He wondered for a moment, recalling whose biological son the boy was.
A moment after that, he'd felt a strange wind and glanced in the direction of the door to see his hair lift then fall from the breeze. His eyebrows scrunched together again as he wondered about the strange occurrence and glanced at Seance again. He then recalled the boy explained before that his friend Celeste was an owl. Seems more and more like she's real. He thought, concluding in his mind that it was something based off of a special ability Seance possesses.
After stating what he was going to do, Evan left the building, closing the door behind him. Under the overhang from the building that blocked the rain, Evan took in a deep breath and released a long sigh. He looked down with his eyebrows knit together in thought and anger regarding Seance. A part of him wanted to go back into the forest for a little while and take his anger out by punching the trees. However, he also didn't want to leave Seance alone for too long, even if Evan's company might only be, at this moment, a little awkward for the boy.
Evan let out another small sigh as the image of Seance after he fell came back to mind. He recalled the tattered clothing that Seance was wearing. Well, I can at least remedy that. He thought to himself as he pushed off in search of some shops in the village.
