An I <3 U Production
LONG POST AHEAD!
I have decided to compile all of my mutilation videos regarding DDE here
Shush, my personal views counts. I can be such a critical little brat when I want to be.
Of course, I'll start this eargasm ride using my favorite boys here, since they ARE my first ever labrats when I first started mutilating songs~
7 Years of Evolution
Performed by: Zephel (16 till
Type: Duet / Series-of-songs / Pitch-bend / Japanese
Original soundtracks:
Psychedelic Souljam
Hero's Come Back!!
Complication
My Star
This is a compilation of Zephel and Hikaru singing as they grow from mere children to teenagers to young adults. The first song they sang is the first pitch-bending I ever did, so hearing them growing and maturing through the 3 different songs makes me cry motherly tears. My boys are growing up so fast..
Preference
- That last picture I put in the video, I love my editing skills.
- Voicewise, I enjoyed how Hikaru sounded so squeaky at first with his childish voice, and it suddenly grows so deep after a few years. Oh, and how Zeph sang the whole chorus for [Complication], especially the part where he goes "Whoaah-oh-oh-ah! Oh-ah! Oh-ah! Oah!" around 2:18, holy crap.
- Lyricwise, I find it appealing that the songs they sang relate to them so much in each particular stages of their lives.
Disdain
- How Zephel sounded at the third song, [My Star]. The singer is originally a woman, so...yes, it is especially difficult to pitch-bend that part. I still dislike how Zephel sounded.
- That pitch-bend effect when I switched from Hikaru's voice to Zephel's at 1:41 and 1:55, I fail.
Extra Effort: To cut the Psychedelic Souljam background song, it's so long. I also spent a long time to edit the picture near the end of the video. Effort is so worth it, it's so beautiful, I can't even-- GAH.
Dualism
Performed by: Tyr & Iku
Type: Duet / Original / Japanese
Original soundtrack: Boss Death
A startling strong duet by the ruling lovebirds of the domain, describing their double-layered thoughts on power itself. Listen attentively, try to dive deeper within the lyrics and you might find surprising results.
Preference
- The song itself, I love how upbeat and strong it is. The lyrics are admirable too.
Disdain
- I can't believe I tried to match this song to Tyr and Iku... I mean, the song matches I guess, but the voices doesn't. I should press the pitch deeper, it might give more likeable results to both the characters since they ARE a grown human/demon.
Extra Effort: No extra effort is put here at all. I am ashamed.
Unity of the World
Performed by: Zero & Mitsuko
Type: Duet / Original / Malay
Original soundtrack: 1Malaysia
A lovely serene short duet by the recently friends-turned-lovebirds pair of the house. Their take on what unity can do to the changing world compiled in a short one-paragraph duet.
Preference
- Holy shiznit, this is why I love Malay. The song itself is my whole preference, hands down. It's so calming and strong at the same time.
- Voicewise, Mitsuko sounds beautiful. Zero, when his voice grows strong at 0:28, just wow, its exactly how I pictured his natural voice is...without the singing tone, that is.
Disdain
- Zero's voice at the beginning kinda makes him sound like a poster boy somewhat, considering the boy can't even sing to save his life. I dislike that part.
- Damn, I am a horrible translator. My bad on the cheesy translated lyrics, what the hell is wrong with my grammar back then...
Extra Effort: No extra effort is put I remember, this thing is easy to do with decent results, I suppose.
Order Made
Performed by: Leo
Type: Solo / Original / Japanese
Original Soundtrack: Order Made
The unfeeling Leo sings about feelings? In his own strange way, that is. A startling display of unsuspecting confession from our only artist in the domain towards his potential partner. Riddling lyrical magic ensues.
Preference
- This voice. This voice is so perfect for Leo in every way imaginable.
- The lyrics is spot on for how Leo usually says things, it's so perfect of him to sing.
- Oh yes, and 0:54, just...holy crap, Leo's stronger voice. And of course 1:12, when he screamed. Oh my dear sweet Leo, I love you.
Disdain
- I can't understand the lyrics, even till now. I mean, I can view it as so many things, but I have no idea what he meant in essence. It's so puzzling.
- Oh, and how I ran out of Leo pictures and just use that one with lots of effects, I used to love how creative I was, but now that I'm seeing it again, I facepalmed.
Extra Effort: Since I only used one picture of Leo, I do remember I did a lot of effort with the effects. I used to adore how it turns out, but now I am ashamed.
Essence of the Quintessences
Performed by: Likemuri, Petra, Hikaru, Eyuki, Eyami & Zephel
Type: Solo / Series-of-songs / Original / Japanese
Original soundtracks:
Sugar Sweet Nightmare
Burning Prayer
Nameless Story
If
Kuon
Sunday
A series of songs sung by each of the Quintessence siblings, even though half of them haven't even been officially created yet. All of the songs were ear-picked by the voices on how I deemed appropriate with my fail hearing, some of the songs even fits the characters themselves. *coughMuricough*
Preference
- How Muri, Petra and Eyami sounds and how the song fits them so freakishly well, it's scaring the crap out of me. I love their songs too, it makes them sparkle.
- Oh, and how Hikaru sounds so much like a beautiful uke, I just can't. I want to hug him so bad hearing his more refined voice singing that pretty song.
Disdain
- God, dammit, Zephel. Just Zephel. That song he sings fits his voice with how I imagined his natural voice sounds like, I have to admit, but the lyrics. Oh dear God. It embarrasses me.
- Eyami's picture kind of moves a bit too, I just realized of the error after I saved it as a movie file.
Extra Effort: I remember I put a HELL lot of effort finding the perfect voices and songs, since initially I planned to find the perfect song AND voice for each of them. I spent a lot of time, I still remember how upset I was just searching. So in the end, I just settled for the perfect voice, because it's a pain in the neck to find the lyrics that matches too. The results? So-so. I want to complain more, but I'll stop here. *throws off desk*
OK Girl!
Performed by: Dark, Duo & Takato
Type: Triad / Original / Korean
Original soundtrack: O.K.
Allow our resident flirts charm you with their song to steal your heart away. They're good at what they're do to catch the eyes of the ladies, so imagine how good they are in catching the ears of the maidens with their lovely singing.
Preference
- Korean boys. That is all.
- And Dark's picture. UGH. DAT SMIRK.
Disdain
- The fact that Duo's lyrics is hard to read. I haven't been inspired to PASTE the lyrics on the pictures yet as I did this mutilation.
Extra Effort: I remember doing this at like 6 am the second I woke up, haha, because the song just kept getting stuck in my head through my dreams, and the inspiration hit me. The effort is probably rushing through to make this thing as I get ready for class. XD
My Most Precious Treasure
Perfomed by: Saiya (and Duo on the piano)
Type: Solo / Original / Full-song / Japanese
Original soundtrack: Ichiban no Takaramono (Karuta ver)
Honestly, I was still crying by the time I finished this video. Listen as Saiya guides you to her beautiful world with her strong take of life even after her heart is broken. This is real inner strength at its best. Inspiration, strength, hope and courage, all gather here.
Preference
- This whole song. I just can't. Tears are welling up my eyes just listening to this. I realized this song fits Saiya so well after I understand the lyrics, and thus, this piece is born.
Disdain
- *cries forever* All this beauty isn't good for my machoness.
Extra Effort: I remember I put a lot of time finding Saiya pictures and editing them appropriately, as well as editing that Duo picture in the end. Spent days, I think, and I was still in tears.
My Most Precious Treasure, Duet Version
Performed by: Saiya & Rayl
Type: Duet / Mash-up / Original / Full-song / Japanese
Original soundtracks:
Ichiban no Takaramono Yui Version
Ichiban no Takaramono Karuta Version
Following the previous song is a mash-up I did especially for Ren; a duet of her two characters. Their lyrics are different, but ease yourself as the harmony between piano and guitar enchant you in their mash-up magic. Not to mention the mixture of Saiya's gentle voice and Rayl's strong tone is the perfect feed for eargasm.
Preference
- This duet! Holy crap! I have never felt so proud of myself to mash these two versions together. I can sell this. It's beautiful, in all honesty, and this is probably the only mutilation I'm so genuinely proud of.
Disdain
- I HATE that last bit of note, it didn't synchronize no matter how hard I tried. I literally took days to synchronize them, and I just don't have enough skill to do it perfectly, and I am forever upset about that.
- Oh and 3:29, that sudden pause is NOT supposed to be there. I'm still angry and self-critical of how imperfect this mash-up is.
Extra Effort: The synchronization, you won't believe how many TAKES I did, and how many days just getting it in a decent level. It is NOT as easy as it looks, trust me. Even editing the pictures for them is easier than sync-ing these two songs together, since they have different bps(beats per second).
Pianissimo
Performed by: Duo
Type: Solo
Original soundtrack: Kasih Antara Kita
Leave Duo to serenade you with his gentle touch of melody by his piano and his voice. Yes, Duo can sing. If his voice didn't manage to stun you, then surely his piano-playing will, because even if Duo's not a decent singer, he's an exceptional pianist.
Preference
- Malay songs. I have a soft spot for slow Malay songs. I'm sorry.
- Duo's voice at 0:19, when he uses a stronger tone, holy shiznit.
- Also for the fact that this is exactly how I imagined Duo's voice is~! *le squeal*
Disdain
- Again, I am a terrible translator.
The lyrics is too mushy for my taste. Goodbye, translating effort. - I am very disdained that Yumoa Duo is not real. Why.
Extra Effort: Perhaps getting the song, because I can't download it anywhere before, so I had to record it off the movie itself. Yes, the song is from a movie, don't ask me what movie, I am embarrassed as hell just thinking of it.
DDE Pretty Boyz
Performed by: Roy | Tyr | Saji | Eyami | Zephel
Type: Quintet / Original / Full song / Japanese
Original soundtrack: We Can Make It!
What if DDE's handsome boys performed as a boyband group? Well, here I am to make that dream come true~
Preference
- Arashi, the band, is timeless.
- Saji's singing voice is great.
- ZEPH RAPPING AT 2:40, DAMN
Disdain
- 4 minutes long, jesus
- I wish I used Dark.
Extra Effort: None, boys are easy to tame.
Core PRIDE
Performed by: Zephel
Type: Duet / Triad / Mash-up / Pitch-bend / Japanese
Orignal soundtrack: Core PRIDE
Take in a deeper look of the pain felt by Eyami when his brother, who apparently suffers amnesia, can't even remember him. The conflict between the brothers is dripping everywhere in this song, especially of how they handle their own pride, thus is the title of the song, beautifully compiled with my fail pitch-bending skills and even failer doodling mastery.
Preference
All of Eyami's painfulShit started going down right after Zeph sang "Ignore everything else. Here we go!" I love how ironic it is.- Their childhood, holy shiznit, younger Eyami laughing. And Zeph hating himself so much for not remembering, he punched his own reflection. All of my tears, please.
- MY DRAWINGS. Holy crap. At 2:40 till 2:53. Omfg, smiling Zeph, that RIGHT THERE, you have no idea how much I replayed that part, I love it so much, it should be illegal to love your own doodle like this, omg.
- And Hikaru popping up at the end, like appearing between his two older brothers, pulling up their hands as if wanting them to shake and be friends again. These feelings. Omg. Hikaru, let me love you.
- THIS SHIT: "Even if I'm told that whatever I do, my destiny is immutable, but I myself can change, I will prove to you that I can! This is, that's right, PRIDE, each in its own place." <--ALL OF MY LOVE. It's like Zeph and Eyami finally made up, omg, my tears.
Disdain
- Starting 2:10, I just can't. I have no idea how to make it seem like they're dueting properly rather than sounding so awful and artificial like that back then.
- Zephel's amnesia as a whole. I hate him so much right now for not trying harder, you can't even understand the base of my loathe of his uncaring attitude.
- My ugly doodles of their childhood.
Extra Effort: This is most probably the most effort that I took in mutilating. I doodled exactly as how I want it to be in my mind when I listen to the song and reading the lyrics. It took me hours till my mood turns foul, but I didn't give up, I went through it. The result; I LOVE THIS SO MUCH, I don't care what others say, I've put a HELL lot of effort and I deserve to be proud of what I did. I am definitely proud of this mutilation.
Love is War
Performed by: Duo & Solo
Type: Duet / Mash-up / Full-song / Japanese
Original soundtracks:
Love is War (Piko version)
Love is War (Nodoame version)
I absolutely love this song, by far this is the manliest love song I have ever heard. You have the option to hear either Duo's desperate side of story (blue) or Solo's dominating part of the tale (brown) as they try to explain their very different perceptions regarding "love" the manly way; BY SINGING.
Preference
- Around 1:40, when Duo sang "I will! / Watashi!" and Solo screamed "I am! / Ore wa!", they are in such harmony during that short moment, I just-- *melted*
- Lots of shirtless Solo. *le giggle* ...What? I can practice male anatomy better this way.
Disdain
- That awkward moment around 3:20 when the singer for Solo's line went "I'll flutter my skirt"... That is so wrong in so many levels, I cried tears of laughter as I have to change the "skirt" line to "jacket'.
Extra Effort: On all the Solo pictures that I have to recolour all of that hair to blonde/red(because apparently, coloring yellow on top of brown makes red) and the eyes to red. Plus merging the Duo and Solo pictures together isn't as easy as it looks. It is NEVER easy, I just make it seem so easy because I put effort, extra of that, too.
Just A Little More
Performed by: Rayl & Leo
Type: Duet / Pitch-bending / Japanese
Original soundtrack: Mou Sukoshi
The most unexpected couple of the domain sing it out together in this lovely piece of duet as they try to describe their own feelings, while totally unaware the other is singing the exact same thing. Why yes, they're singing this in their heads secretly. Let's go down mushy lane, people.
Preference
- This song brings memories, and it's just too cute for these two unfeeling individuals to sing something so heartfelt like this.
- Leo's golden line: "I'm not stronger or more confident, but see me smiling. Look, okay?" Hits home. Dude's too lazy to smile unless it involves Rayl.
Disdain
- Leo's fail smile, I remember I have no photoshop at the time and I just used Paint MS to edit that, aha.
- Leo's voice. I don't know. Wimpy voices fits him, I understand that, but...gah, the girlishness. Why, past Syani, why.
Extra Effort: Didn't encounter many problems doing this, and pitch-bending these two is easy because I used a simpler program to do so at the time. So no extra effort is put here.
Kusari
Performed by: Syani & Kaekeru
Type: Duet / Pitch-bending / Japanese
Original soundtrack: Kusari
Mushy lane, stop number 2. Oh, these vampires just can't get enough of each other. But really, what they're singing about is really about balance and chain reactions. Questioning themselves of what they're feeling and realizing what's really (and obviously) going on.
Preference
- I always liked Kusari, this song has been close to me ever since I fell in love with Laharl. And every time I hear this song, I'm reminded straight of that cockroach-haired brat. Plus, I feel all warm inside. :3
- Love the pitch-bend Kae-voiced version so much more than the original, honestly.
- I love how the guitar and bass sounds in this song. Instant-loved because of the guitar.
Disdain
- Syani's lyrics being unreadable. So sorry about that, I fail so many times.
- All the pictures involving the vampires together. *facepalm* So embarrassing.
Extra Effort: Well, just finding the different pictures, I guess. Hana did the pitch-bending for the male version of Kusari, because I didn't have any pitch-bending programs at the time, so props to her. I love the pitch-bend version she did so very much.
Inner Telepath
Performed by: Saiya & Roy
Type: Duet / Pitch-bend / Japanese
Original soundtrack: Innocent Starter
These two can read each other like opened books, and they sing it out for the public to know! Further down mushy lane we have Saiya and Roy pulling on the ropes of their feelings in this beautiful lyrical duet.
Preference
- The lyrics, matched, so freaking much, I had no idea how dead spot on it is until Roy pointed it out. Mainly because I didn't follow their thread at that moment. But now I read it and I nod to my awesome luck to put this song for them to sing.
Disdain
- Nothing much, really. Perhaps how their voices sounded maybe. Saiya sounds so close to a chipmunk in some parts and Roy sounds...a bit girlish. Poster boy alert. Why the heck did I kept making the guys' voices sounds so squeaky?
Extra Effort: None that I can remember, it's been so long ago since I made this mutilation.
Ice Queen & Fire King
Performed by: Saphira & Sasuke
Type: Duet / Pitch-bend / English
Original soundtrack: Strangers Like Me (Everlife)
There is something about dragons and Tarzan soundtracks that sounds right, I can feel it. Mushy lane stop number 4, we have the famous absolutes dragons singing it out of their curiosity about each other's origins.
Preference
- The utter awesomeness of Saphira's voice, hands down.
- The lyrics also are surprisingly matching, hah, past Syani, at least you did SOMETHING worth being proud about.
Disdain
- Oh, the pitch-bending, fail. But considering I used a lamer pitch-bending program, I forgive my past self.
- Sasuke, why does your voice sounds so shota?
Extra Effort: None made, in my memory.
Mermaid meets Lion
Performed by: Takato & Kida
Type: Duet / Pitch-bend / English
Original soundtrack: Under The Sea (A*Teens)
And down to mushy lane stop 5, we take a detour to homour land, where the famed lion Takato with his beautiful partner Kida sings a popular Disney song! Let your mind wander with Kida as a mermaid and Takato as a singing crab named Sebastian.
Preference
- Kida's voice is super pretty here, I love this.
- Takato's voice is...decent than the shota horde I did with the rest of the poor boys, though not perfect.
Disdain
- Why the heck did I chose this song again? ...Oh yeah, to make a gag-mutilation.
Extra Effort: None.
Monster
Performed by: Myrra
Type: Solo / Original / English
Original soundtracks: Monster
Someone save Myrra. And get her a therapist.
Preference
- I actually kinda like the accuracy of the lyrics to Myrra, lol
- CLEARLY, I was getting better at editing videos, huehue
Disdain
- Why is it so short?
Extra Effort: Editing just using Windows Movie Maker and making this is a feat in itself.
Only One
Performed by: Roy, Leo & Zero
Type: Triad / Original / Korean
Original soundtrack: Only One
Slow down and listen to the soothing voices of these three men, all with sad pasts, has lost someone and appreciate the existence of that special someone. Their belief played in a song as they sing together with their whole heart and soul; PROFIT.
Preference
- The fact that their lyrics matches with how they see their respective love interests;
- Roy sings about Saiya's loneliness, Leo sings about how he can comfort Rayl and Zero for Miki, of course.
- The lyrics, just the lyrics.. So beautiful.
Disdain
- I should probably lay off from being so selfish of using so many of my characters and focus on the others to fit in here too. Ah self, why must you be so very selfish about you and yourself.
Extra Effort: None that I can remember.
Grow
Performed by: Hikaru
Type: Solo / Pitch-bend / English
Original soundtrack: Go The Distance
Hikaru sings a single song as he grows up through the years from 2006 till 2012. My cherished child.
Preference
- The song in general fits Hikaru to a T.
Disdain
- The pitch-bending, oh no, lol. At 2:05 especially, yikes.
Extra Effort: None that I can remember.
Proof of Life
Performed by: Syani (and Kaekeru in the background)
Type: Solo / Original / Japanese
Original soundtrack: Proof of Life
This song has the potential to evoke feelings. It was during the time at the snowy forest did Syani first met Kaekeru after his years of disappearance, and he did not look at all recognizable. Fear is what she felt, though she is very aware of her feelings. Feel her jumbled emotions as you listen to this beautifully sweet and sad song.
Preference
- DEM VOICES.
- "In the end, I want to tell you... Thank you..." DAT LINE.
- I especially love Kaekeru's background singing that goes well with the music. ...Actually I love everything about this.
Disdain
- How short I made that video. I should have used a lot more pictures too.
Extra Effort: I remember how hard it was to select the short few scenes that I deem necessary to fit in the video, because I want to include the whole song, but then again, the lyrics doesn't match with their situation if I put everything.
More will come as soon as I finish another batch. Any suggestions for songs you wish me to mutilate, just PM me. Thank you for reaching the bottom part of this humongous page.
