Mitsuko had got up bright and early to go visit Hunter and Zero in addition to meet Jean and offer her services to help ease their stresses of the endless work that they had to get done. Thanks to the encouragement of Madame May. Milo had guided Mitsuko to the headquarters which was located in Arthera.
One of the most dangerous places in Veyyard. As she followed her dove she was feeling uneasy in these parts since everywhere she looked there was no sign of any joy or friendly people around. Every person that she had made eye contact with for a brief moment looked at her suspiciously since she stood out in her white dress, her blonde hair, and the angelic aura that she gave off.
She had only heard about Arthera and how dangerous it is, no wonder Zero and hunter had a lot of bounty hunting to do. People that resided in these parts committed all sorts of crimes, and as she read quite a few people she could tell that each of them had their own sin.
Mitsuko tried not to breathe in the fumes of cigarrete smoke that were nearby, and tried to block out the foul language that was spoken by a few tough people. Sure she has had a few swear words slip pass her lips when she was in a battle a few months back with the prince but she asked god for forgiveness and apologized for swearing.
She wondered how these tough looking individuals could speak in a foul manner every single day, much less use the F word. The angel disliked the F word, it made her cringe whenever it was spoken and thus she has never used the F word ever in her life.
'Please... let us be closer to the headquarters Milo... Please..'
As Mitsuko thought those words they soon reached the headquarters and she quickly ran inside. She was so thankful to feel at least a little safer in a place where her best friend resides.
The angel looked around with her eyes at how short staffed this place was. Some people were up to their neck in papers, and some were so crowded around the bulletin board. The angel tilted her head to the side because of her curiousity at all the new things that she was seeing.
Milo then made a sound which basically said to look ahead. Once the angel did she saw a man at the front desk, looking stressed out and frustrated. It was as if he was about to pull his hair out.
"Umm... Excuse me... Sir?"

"Gah! I swear with all the requests we get day to day because of the crimes around here one of these days I'll get high blood pressure, because of all the stress this has been putting me through! A lot of my best bounty hunters are exhausted but they can't get a moment's rest since this city's safety depends on them."
Jean put his head on his desk as he let out a sigh. Just as he was about to take a breather the phone rang. "OH SHUT UP!" He yelled out of frustration and threw his pencil at the phone to try and shut it off but to no avail. He sweat dropped as the phone kept ringing off the hook, and he finally picked it up and placed it hesitantly over his ear.
Jean was so hesitant that he hands were shaking a little bit, since they had so much work that had piled up. Some jobs had even been pushed back/delayed because there were jobs that took more priority over others.
The ones that weren't an emergency were put on hold while others had to be taken care of right away. Each time Jean answered the phone there was something else that happened and this stressed him out badly. He needed help. Big time.
"Hello? You have reached the bounty hunter headquarters what can we help you with today? .... Are you certain? ... I see hmm.. Well don't worry I'll get two of my best bounty hunters to assist with this matter and do a full on the site investigation."
"Please be warned however that we are very understaffed at the moment so we can't get there right away since usually our bounty hunters do more then one job at a time. Unless of course it is a dire emergency. Please be patient with us. Thank you for your co-operation."
He hung up the phone and started to call Zero and Hunter's room.
"Hey...can you two come down here? Sorry to bother you while you are resting but....- huh?!"
The boss' eyes finally met Mitsuko's and he stared at her for a few moments
'Wow.... where did she come from... She's quite the sight for sore eyes for someone who is ridiculously tired...'
'And a dove too? Well if I didn't know better and having a mirage I would have thought she was a pirate just because that bird is on her shoulder... but... She is too pretty to be a pirate...'
Jean straightened out his glasses, and fixed his hair a little while he cleared his throat.

After just getting back from a mission, Hunter's Caramell Dansen ringtone chimes in their room. Both Zero and Hunter heaved out an exasperated sigh. Hunter's in the middle of modifying his gun, while Zero's busy bandaging himself from the careless gash he got earlier.
So when the two men came down to the main room, Hunter's weaponless while Zero's still trying to tie the bandaid around his stomach, shirtless of course. "Ugh, chief, come on. It's been less than 10 minutes from the last--"
Zero paused. He thought he saw his best friend standing there near the chief's desk. The young bounty hunter closed his eyes, then opens them again. He can still see Miki. "Ugh, damn, now I'm so tired, I'm hallucinating.." He finished binding his gash just to rub his sore eyes.

"MIKI~!!!" In contrast of Zero's silent reaction, Hunter literally leaped from where he stood and skipped his way to the angel, then locked hands with her as he merrily hop-skipped around her in childlike enthusiasm.
"I can't believe you're here!! What are you doing here??" After that rather silly dance, the man then released her hands and began questioning the maiden. "Oh wait, don't tell me. YOU MISSED ME!"

Mitsuko smiled as she was greeted with such enthusiasm and she found it cute in all honesty. She held on to Hunter's hands tightly and giggled.
"How did you know I missed you and Zero? hahaha you really are getting better at reading me since you getting to know me quite quickly- What?"
The angel's words were cut short as she saw Zero shirtless and noticed the bandage around his tummy. Her eyes by passed how Zero looked without his shirt off. She didn't noticed his muscles but if she did notice she would get all red and shy since she hasn't seen her best friend being shirtless with the exception of the time when he was little, and taking care of his injuries..
However what made this different was the fact that he was no longer a kid but a full grown adult.,
If she had seen ANY man without his shirt on before now then she forgot, because of her memory.
What prevented her from being shy about a shirtless Zero was the fact that she just noticed his injury since after all that bandage stuck out from a mile away.
"Pardon me Hunter, I have to put our conversation on hold for a few minutes I have someone else I need to see.. And to take care of.." She placed a hand on Hunter's cheek though to let him know he is still important but not ditching him on purpose.
With that said the angel went over to Zero and cupped his face. "Your not dreaming I'm actually here.. and I see that your hurt. It's..... aww Zero it looks painful!"
Her blue eyes, and her expression on her face was one of worry so without hesitation she took Zero's hand and led him over to the bench area that was in the quarters that people use as a waiting area, when wanting to report their results of the hunt.
Since it was empty and no one was using it Mitsuko sat down and got Zero to lie down on the bench with his head resting on her lap. Before she gave him a chance to speak however she began to glow and start healing his wound.
"Hahaha how can we call this a boo boo much less little?" She kept her hand gently pressed on the wound but not too hard. She was gentle as possible but she smiled.
"How did you get hurt Zero? You know when I see you with a wound I automatically get worried about you."

After a few moments of staring at Mitsuko he slowly went to where Zero was now, and was shocked at the beautiful light that had enveloped her and Zero in an instant that he couldn't keep up with the sudden turn of events. The light itself made the whole room feel warm and even pleasant.
This was a very good thing since Veyyard is one of the most darkest places that someone can ever be in, and having her whole power envelope the whole headquarters while she healed someone is quite a sight.
Jean was speecheless to say the least but he was indeed smart. A person who can heal just by using their powers from within their soul can only mean one thing. She was an angel. Her wings weren't present but with her using her powers to heal Zero in front of his eyes brought Jean to that conclusion instantly.
After a few minutes of admiring the sight he then began to talk to Zero.
"I know you are exhausted Zero I am too.... and as a matter of fact I am starting to lose my cool since every time I pick up that phone there is always something. I wouldn't mind if some of those calls were regarding simple escorting job that you can protect civilians as they travel to places that they need to go to. But now... I heard that the police discovered illegal activity taking place right here in Veyyard. They need assistance, but I told them that we can't get their right away due to the other jobs you two guys have lined up back to back."
"They said that they will see what they can find out as they work and start the investigation well into the night. I just wanted to give you guys a full briefing before morning reaches. So from tomorrow morning you three are undercover got it?"
"And yes I said you three and that means you Mitsuko. I know who you are I got a phone call from Madame May that stated you were encouraged by her as well as wanting to give us a hand... The reason why I know you're the girl we are waiting for is because of how you.... exhibited your powers just now. Madame May did say "an angel will be at my front door soon so... I know it means you."
Jean's facial expression turned into an apologetic one for what he was about to say next to the trio.
"I must apologize in advance though for the following: Your healing powers and the fact that you are an angel must be kept under wraps. I'm sorry for making you hide who you are but... there are those around here that consider angels to be just an urban legend, and then there are those that really disrespect your kind. To keep you safe you must not say that your an angel while out there. And be wary when you are healing these two."
"I don't mind if you use your powers here behind closed doors but please be discreet. Now then Hunter... You are offically assigned as Mitsuko's mentor. Teach her everything that she knows and fast. Oh and one other thing.... Can you please have some decency to wash your clothes? I got a complaint from the cleaning lady that your laundry basket stinks and made her eyes water."
"Cleanliness is important I expect you to take responsibility!"
"And another thing. Don't use this day to goof off. Get some rest today but at the same time help out Mitsuko to fit in. Make you sure you use your time wisely, I MEAN it Hunter. I got a few other bounty hunters to cover for you guys for today only."
Jean then wrote a few things on a paper and gave it to Hunter
Hunter's to do List.
1) Show Mitsuko around
2) Get a new outfit for Mitsuko since she'll stick out like a sore thumb with her blode hair, blue eyes and white dress.
3) TRAIN. Show her how to use a gun.
4) AND CLEAN your laundry! -_-*** DON"T be lazy! [/i]

Since Zero's the youngest member in the organization, it's pretty normal for him walk around the headquarters without a shirt or even just wearing shorts, most of the hunters had grown used to him. He did grow up here, so all of the hunters basically sees him as a little boy, and they didn't mind.
It's a completely different matter when there's guests though. Even Zero would feel uncomfortable. It's such a busy day, he didn't expect any guests would come over. Especially if the guest is his best friend.
"M...Miki..?" that bubbled out his lips when the angel cups his face. "Wha...what are you doing here?" Zero would have completely forgotten his wound if Miki didn't display such worries of it. He was then led at the bench nearby, and in a moment, got his head on her lap.
"No.. No, Miki, it's okay--" but she's already glowing, that's why he ordered his tongue to stop moving. Zero sighed through the healing process, "You don't need to do this, I'm perfectly fine." Though he does favor the attention and care she's showering him.
The young bounty hunter smiled up at his best friend on her boo boo comment, "Well, as I grow, I kept getting bigger boo boos. Sorry," most of his 'boo boos' were from his own carelessness. Though the other hunters has had their fair share of casualties inflicted upon them, Zero is by far got the most hits. Mostly during the times when he can't control his anger, and he kept forgetting his enemies has the ability to kill him.
Zero pushed himself to sit up when Miki's done healing him, and leaned on the chair as he looked at the angel with a guilty shrug, "Ahah... I deal with dangerous people every day, Miki. It's only natural I get hurt," he sat properly after that to look down at his stomach, then began unfolding the bandage he tied earlier, "I'm sorry, Miki. You're not supposed to see me like this.. Thank you for healing me."

"Got that right she's not supposed to see you like this. I mean, look at you, showing off your underdeveloped abs like that. Shame on you," Hunter rolled his eyes as he made his way to the pair at the bench. He stood in front of them, arms crossed, an eyebrow arched high at Zero.
"I mean, come ON, whenever I get shot at my hip or something, there's practically no girls at all around me to get worried. It's so unfair!" He pouts and glares at the young man childishly, then brings up his ungloved hand to scratch his hair. He didn't sport his oversized cowboy hat right now, so it's apparent to see Hunter's actually blonde with brown highlights. Or a brunette with blonde highlights. His hair color can confuse anyone.
The large tall man then took a step back when the chief decided to join them, to give the man some space. Hunter can tell that managing the whole assemblage is tough work, that's why he felt lucky he's one of the pawns instead of the big guy.
"Oh COME ON, you've gotta be kidding me!" Hunter sighed at the fact that work is practically LINING for them to finish. Not that he mind the pay, but his lack of energy is starting to take its toll on his emotions. And Hunter, nor the rest of the men, does not like it when his mood is bad.
"..Wait wait, you said three," he mumbled, pointing at Jean, and indeed Jean repeated what he said, that Mitsuko will be joining them. "WHAT?!" By that face Zero's making, he's sure the boy didn't agree with the decision one bit. "Whoa whoa, hold up a second, chief. You're assigning MIKI, THIS MIKI, to be a bounty hunter??" his finger directed towards the angel on the bench.
His face turning serious as he fully faced the leader, "Chief, you know I never doubted your good judgment, but this is simply too dangerous for her. As happy as I am to have her as company, bounty hunting those psychos outside this very building, is a definite NO-NO. I mean, just look at Zero, he gets AT LEAST a deep gash every day, can you imagine what sort of predicament Miki would--" Hunter froze.
He now seemed to realize where the chief is going with assigning Miki to their team; healing. Now he gets it. Just as he's done thinking about that, he heard his name being called. And just in the blink of an eye, he's officially a mentor. "Say what now?"
Sure he coached a few boys in the house how to shoot and reload, so he does have a bit of experience, but Hunter doesn't like to put himself too high as to teach an angel how to wield a gun. This is going to be difficult, since he hasn't witnessed Miki in battle before.
"..My clothes?" Having the chief to personally advice him about his personal issue means that his laundry must have gotten quite serious. Hunter cringed a bit, imagining what the cleaning lady must have gone through. It was just like the chief to burst his thought bubble by giving him a piece of paper.
"A TO-DO LIST, AW COME ON! I'm 28, you're treating me like I'm 2 decades younger!" he shakes a fist as he watches Jean retreating back to his office. "This is NOT cool, man. And in front of a LADY out of all people!"

Mitsuko looked at him with her gentle eyes as usual. She wasn't by any means disappointed in Zero for getting hurt as it was to be expected but at the same time she had hoped he would try to prevent it, though that's when Jean started his long spiel.
He had caught what Madame May was planning and he agreed to it, so he didn't need a letter of introduction, and how Mitsuko knew this was because of the fact that he didn't ask for it to prove who she is.
The angel listened to everything Jean had said to her and nodded. Normally she would be against in keeping her identity a secret though this was an important experience for her so she agreed. Besides with her joining Hunter and Zero she would be able to understand what her best friend, and Hunter go through every day in a bounty hunt.
This was their line of work and she wanted to understand. Sure she knew that they are basically officers that keep the peace of the city, and try their best from bad things from happening, but perhaps there was a deeper reason why they go out there. The angel figured it would make the bounty hunters see that the world out there isn't all what it is cracked up to be. There was a much darker side, and starting today Mitsuko would begin her training.
"You don't have to apologize Zero. I just get worried naturally about you since I don't want to lose you. I just got you back a few months ago. To lose you all over again.... would be so difficult. And... I HARDLY ever get to see you! And when I hardly get to see you I miss you.... okay I miss you everyday, When we hang out it feels like you are there for like half an hour and you go as soon as that.... sad ring tone plays."
That ring tone was a happy one, the reason why she said it was sad was because of how she felt whenever she heard it, since she knows that's a signal for Hunter and Zero to get going.
And she misses Zero. terribly.
"Which is why Madame May suggested that I come to visit you, help you out with your work, and she also suggested that I use this time to grow more as a person, as a woman, and see the other half of the world. If I see the darker side of it perhaps I can find more ways to make it brighter you know? I don't understand what it truly means to be a bounty hunter but I am willing to take the first step."
The angel looked at Zero's expression that Hunter pointed out and she can tell he was against it. Mitsuko could read Zero like a book and even though he didn't express his stand on the subject quite yet she knew what he was feeling.
"Besides you two do need help right? I am willing to give you a hand.."

Jean sat on his chair and looked at Hunter through his glasses after he cleaned them. He shook his head as Hunter complained and began to explain a few things to him.
"The amount of time you spend complaining to me is the time you could be spending in making yourself much more useful. And you DO act like two decades younger! So how you act is the way you will be treated. Not only that you really need to get your priorities straight. It's bad enough that you don't do your laundry often. I commend you with everything that you do Hunter, and you, Zero and the rest of the bounty hunter's are like children to me."
Then Hunter questioned the chief's decision about putting Miki on their team.
"Yes well when I first heard about Mitsuko from Madame May at the Alamo Inn I was worried to.... but just witnessing her healing ability puts me at ease. You and Zero can be a little reckless, or so I'm told. You're partnership just screams HEAL ME. The more help we get the better, and if we get all of our work done then you guys can actually have some vacation time. "
"You both may not agree with my decision entirely but believe me when I say this. We all need the helping hand. There are some days where I just want to shut the phone off but I know I can't do that since people's lives are on the line. We need the money to pay the rent, we need money for food, and we need money for the supplies and equipment. Thankfully the money is the least of our worries... Though if we don't budget ourselves and we run out of money then what? We will be begging for work."
Jean sighed. "Just protect Mitsuko got it? She'll have your back but make sure you have her's too. Make good use of the training. She'll learn from you Hunter. I believe that."
"Now by the time you finish all those things on your to do list I should have all the forms ready for Mitsuko to fill out and to sign. I want her to be literally taken care of before she goes out there. So whatever happens she is protected financially too. Like what you and Zero have. A bounty hunter insurance plan. I would never allow her to go out there without some security in documentation. I'm not that stupid."
"Remember this quote Hunter. If everything in life was easy then we wouldn't have the greatest feeling of accomplishing something so huge. Mitsuko will be for the adventure of a life time. Now you are dismissed."

Zero was by all means surprised of the leader's sudden decision. He would be up on his feet and butt heads with the chief for allowing his precious Miki to go against the ruffians of Veyyard, but Hunter amazingly beats the boy to it. He's so fast, Zero doesn't even have the time to get on his feet yet.
"H-Hunt--" But Hunter's already going off stalking the chief to his office, leaving Zero with his best friend. Zero heaved out a heavy sigh, reminding himself that Jean is famous for his abnormal sudden decisions...and firm standpoint. Nobody can sway his determination. Most of the result of the decisions of course ended up positively, strangely, almost as if Jean has a sixth sense in these things.
"Miki," he immediately turned to the angel, at the same time for Miki to admit that she missed Zero. "Oh.." the bounty hunter looked down, his eyes downcast, he does certainly feel guilty about leaving Miki so quickly whenever he decided to visit her. "I'm...sorry," he sighed, sometimes he just felt like breaking the rules and ignore his job entirely, just to spend time with Miki. He told Hunter that, and the senior just laughed and advised Zero to be a bit more patient. 'Facing the difficulties now will bear its fruits later,' he had said.
He raised his eyes up back to her when the angel began explaining of her wish to explore the darker side of the world. At this, Zero's expression considerably dropped, "Miki. I won't allow you to face such dangers, just because you missed me. ..I mean, I do need you, immensely, but not outside. Not when you can get hurt. Not in the dark." He had turned his whole upper body towards Miki, to show how completely serious he is.
Then, there's a strange glint of sadness came across Zero's eyes, "Sometimes...you just can't study darkness, by flooding it with light.." He had placed his arms on her shoulders, eyebrows creasing, "This is a completely different world, Miki. Something that even I don't understand, there is so much hatred, meddling with love will just make it worst." The dark was meant to stay as it is; the dark. He tried to understand why, but that almost costs him his life.
Basically, it's NOT safe. AT ALL.
Zero released her shoulders, understanding that she truly wanted to help, and she has that eyes again. How can angels be so stubborn sometimes? So the young bounty hunter contemplated. If Miki joins, then the first priority for both him and Hunter is to protect her, at all cost. Zero's the type that can focus on one thing at one time, so he can't protect her while doing his job at the same time. Hunter however, is more dependable, yet that idiot's easily distracted and might just forget the main priority to protect Miki.
"Miki..." he sighed, running his hand through his hair, "I do appreciate your concern and good will, but this just doesn't sit well with me.."

Hunter stood firmly in front of Jean's desk, his arms crossed and his foot tapping against the ground, waiting for an explanation. Though he had gained the understanding of why Miki was grouped up with them, he can feel that Zero's counting on him to change the chief's mind. No matter how impossible that one feat is.
"Okay, okay, fine. So I have a habit of complaining when a lot when something worries the hell out of me, and I'm sure you out of all people know of this; I RARELY get worried about ANYTHING," Hunter temporarily ignored the laundry comment, just to try and focus on his goal here.
The bounty hunter frowned deeply, a rare sight actually. "Ugh chief, c'mon, JUST by witnessing her healing ability?" he asked incredulously. "Of course we're reckless, that's just how we roll. I mean, have we ever failed an assignment before? No. Sure we have a few cuts here and there...and..the people in the infirmary are well aware of how often we visit them, but we're doing just FINE."
He tries, he really tries. But just by listening to his own words, Hunter gets the idea that they need a healer on the go, not just relying on the infirmary. "Okay chief, imagine this. Say if Miki got hurt. If Miki got hurt, Zero would OBVIOUSLY loose his focus, and we all know that when Zero loose his focus, he will snap. And when he snaps, he will rage beyond the heavens for the idiot who harms his angel, and might shoot even ME. Hell could break loose, chief, just by sending her out there."
Both he and Zero are still human after all, there's no such things as 100% confirmation. They both can't protect Miki all the time, they're bound to make mistakes. And mistakes are what Hunter fears the most if Miki and Zero are involved. Training will just increase the possibility of a safe journey, but never guaranteed for it.
"You're not listening to me. Even if she proves to be a humongous asset for our team, the possibility for her for even getting HURT will erupt a situation we all can't ever control," Hunter drags himself to the chief's table and fell on his knees, while his elbows are on the table considering how tall he is, and in a begging position.
"I'm begging you, chief. I have a very bad feeling about this. I won't deny your quote to be helpful and enlightening, but I'm asking you one last time." Hunter had leaned his chin on Jean's desk, still kneeling, and shot the best serious look he could give. "Are you completely POSITIVELY sure of your decision?"
Whatever it is Jean's answer is, Hunter decided he'll just get on with it. He had tried his best to negotiate. From now on, whatever happens, happens. ....As long as the chief is responsible if any misfortune befalls on them.

Mitsuko listened to Zero's words but didn't second guess her decision of coming here. Her heart told her to stay here, and to help. If they were together on one team she'd have their back for sure and while there are never any guarantees on the battle field they couldn't go wrong with having a healer.
There are always fears to face when one is out there fighting, even Mitsuko had fears of her own, so much so that she trembled before she went to sleep, and as of lately she has started to have really bad nightmares. Darkness was her weakness, and it did make her sick if she was ever trapped in it, but with light it would help her get through it.
We can never understand everything there is to know, or to experience everything that the world has to offer, since it is constantly changing, evolving since people are making new breakthroughs, and new babies are being born everyday. Darkness will always exist weather we want it to or not, but the angel knew that she had to experience this. She has been sheltered from many things because of her innocent personality and while it would be better if she stayed out of it, she couldn't.
She is having the exact same fears like Zero is. The fear of her getting hurt, and the fear of him getting hurt. Their relationship works both ways and whenever Zero went out there to do his duty she always wondered if he would ever come back to her alive. She couldn't lose anyone else. But at the same time she wouldn't be a very good best friend if she said give up your job Zero.
What he does everyday makes him a hero. He was HER hero.
Mitsuko smiled and took his hand and held on to it.
"Maybe this will help you understand why I am going to do this. It's not just because... I want to learn more about the dark side..... but because you are my inspiration. That along with the the sisterly love and affection and the warmth that I have towards you.... and Hunter makes me want to be along side you even more."
She cleared her voice, and while she wasn't that great in explaining things especially when people don't agree, she could sing it.
"You know I try to be All that I can But there's a part of me I still don't understand
Why do I only see What I don't have When my reality Its things are not that bad
Your faith has shown me that
When my world goes crazy You won't let go When the ground gets shaky You give me hope When I try to push you away You never move, yeah
Now when I start doubting You help me see There's a strength, and a mind, and a power in me Oh believe me there ain't nothing I can't do My hero is you, yeah My hero is you
I never saw the way You sacrificed Who knew the price you paid How can I make it right I know I've gotta try
When my world goes crazy You won't let go When the ground gets shaky You give me hope When I try to push you away You never move, yeah
Now when I start doubting You help me see There's a strength, and a mind, and a power in me You believe there ain't nothing I can't do My hero is you, yeah My hero is you
And I hope that you can see You're everything that I wanna be, ooh
When my world goes crazy You won't let go When the ground gets shaky You give me hope When I try to push you away You never move, yeah
Now when I start doubting You help me see There's a strength, and a mind, and a power in me Oh believe me there ain't nothing I can't do My hero is you, yeah My hero is you
My hero is you"
the meaning of this song in Mitsuko's eyes was the fact that Zero sacrificed a lot just do his job. One of his sacrifices was not being able to spend time with Mitsuko as much as he wants to, that in turn made Mitsuko miss him so much. Sure it made her seem clingy to him but... Who else was she supposed to tell her stories to? Her fears, her emotions? Zero was in a special place in her heart. Her best friend. Her best friend ever since they were children.
He knew the deep roots of her heart. After all she did pour out to him on the phone as they do talk before they sleep, at least once. Their cellphones were basically their lifeline. As she sang the song to both Hunter and Zero, she had a flash back of all the things that she and Zero did as children to present.
After the song was over she gently took hold of Hunter's hand while she still held onto Zero's.
"I don't plan on being a burden among you two. I'll train really hard, and I do realize that this isn't going to be all that it is cracked up to be... But right now I'm like a caterpillar...-"
She stopped her sentence and she used her power and called upon the heavens to show them another miracle.
She then took them both outside and on a lone tree she led them to a caterpilliar's cocoon that was now there because of her miracle, and shortly after the cocoon hatched and out came a butterfly.
"Trapped in a cocoon waiting to break free and form into something more beautiful..." She continued. "You maybe upset with me Zero but please trust me."

Jean looked at the trio from his desk after the song and after they had come back into the HQ building. he wasn't gonna change his decision. He looked at Hunter in his eyes after a while and spoke again, after coming to the trio.
"I am hearing what you are saying Hunter and I understand where you are getting at. But the truth of the matter is: Every job in this world has it's pros and cons. Here are a few examples. If you are a waiter or waitress, you will be most likely be working in a place where there is lots of drinking and people getting drunk. The plus side to that job is that the tips are great and you get to meet more people."
"IF you are working as a journalist you run the risk of getting kidnapped- depending on the area of the world that you are in some people and countries hate journalists. As well as getting turned away by sources that don't want to talk. The plus side to that job is that you get to know the stories that people have to tell, and get to the heart of matters that affect us as a society."
"IF you are an angel like Mitsuko and have a healing ability she runs the risk of getting drained out. Along with her personality. From what Madame May described to me on the phone Mitsuko is least experienced in a few things and she has to broaden her horizon of knowledge. She only knows the good side of the world.... But I can see that she wants to help people with her advice. Now correct me if I am wrong but depending on the bounty not every person you arrest is a hardened criminal. They just need to do some hard time. And you know this because Zero researches all of his bounties first before he makes his decision on what to do with them."
"Now with Mitsuko on your team she can do an intervention of sorts when you do arrest someone who is just a hardened criminal that just needs to go to jail. Once that criminal is in the backseat of the van, Mitsuko can talk to them and put things into perspective. I know she is the type to leave them with a choice. I understand that it is impossible for her to save everybody but... With a little intervention she can turn some lives around if they are willing to change, and listen to her."

When Miki took hold of his hand, Zero looked up to her eyes, blue meets blue. He sighed lightly, expecting she would be this stubborn, but then again, he has yet to understand the real reason of her to even consider joining bounty hunting.
Zero grabbed a hold of the bench's side with his other hand when the angel began clearing her throat. 'She's gonna sing,' he mentally noted. Every time Miki sings, he noticed that he has a tendency to get this chill running through his spine. It's such an alien feeling, Zero still haven't got used to it, so he has to clutch something in his palm to keep him in reality.
Then off her voice goes, harmonizing with the air, attracting a few attention nearby. Zero doesn't mind now, he doesn't mind people staring at Miki, or that he's shirtless, or that he's starting to feel cold because he's shirtless. He was invited into that dream-like tranced state again, exactly back when Miki tries to hold a birthday party for him.
The difference between last time and this time is, Zero's eyes isn't widened, yet it's actually partly closed, held in such a wispy look within them. His muscles tensed when that chill came up again, when she sang that Zero's her hero. He looked up at her, now eyes widening, blinking at some point with a lack of clarity on what she really means.
He's anything but a hero... Sure he tries his very best to make Miki happy, to listen to her when she needs it, to advice her when she's lost, to keep her up when she's down...he does his best, but heroes don't do that.. That's what friends do.
Near the end of the song, a smile tugged his lips. Now he remembered it... 'Hey Zero, whatcha gonna be when you grow up??' a young female voice asked. 'Ummmm...that's a tough one..' muttered another voice, belonging to a young boy way back in his memory. After a moment, the boy finally answered with pride, 'I know! I'm gonna be a HERO!' That echoed in his head for the longest time, it snapped Zero's eyes widened a bit. He clears his vision to face his best friend, and smiled at her just as she ended the last verse of her song.
"Heh.." he smirked, simply cannot believe he remembered that flashback. "YOUR faith has shown ME that," Zero repeated one of the lines in her song with a smile. After the chills are gone, the bounty hunter sighed, closing his eyes, and announced "I never could win against you in these types of terrains, Miki."
