"So this is the highest ground of this country.."
A lone child stood on the edge of the Ida Valley, blankly staring out at the leaves dancing wildly in the air by the strong winds. His dark hair and cloak joined in with the wind as they stirred and fluttered violently. If not for his stable footing, he would have fallen off the valley by now.
His name is Sean, and the blackness of his hair and cloak almost camouflaged him with the dark early morning expanse around him. He had spent the whole evening yesterday to even find this valley called Ida, and once he does, he settled down in between a pair of very large tree roots to sleep.
Most children his age doesn't dangerously camp out so often, but Sean has an advantage to overcome circumstances normal children couldn't. That said leverage is his owl perching on his shoulder; Celeste.
Celeste, in Sean's thoughts, is his imaginary friend, since no one could see her except him. But in truth, she's actually a summoned spirit, which Sean had accidentally rallied in the midst of his early childhood suffering. The boy never knew he could summon, much less possessing an abnormal ability, so he remains unaware of what he is able to do.
"Ah, what a nice, yet horrible day it is today," the little boy stretched his body, for he just woke up less than an hour ago and decided to take a hike up and take in the fresh morning breeze. Feeling rather melancholic today, Sean turned to the owl on his shoulder, just in tome to see Celeste hooting a reply that sounded something close like, 'Good morning. You seem to be a little irritable today.' Of course, that's what Sean imagined for her to say.
"Horrible morning it is, Celeste. Oh, look at that," his eyes had already wondered off towards the horizon, noting that the sun is about to rise by the edge of the prairies. "...The sun is rising again." His rather peaceful expression then drastically changed into a threatening sort of glance.
The little child's forest green eyes sharpened, as well as his deepened frown. He glared down the valley onto a few settlements and villages, hope blazing in his eyes yet again. "Good. The light can help in my pursuit... Anthony Reinhardt, where are you.."[Tag Mitsuko]

Obstacles. Everyone has them, and everyone on this earth has to overcome them with their inner strength, and belief in themselves. Mitsuko was no exception.
The angel had recently started to have problems with her wing- She must have overworked it the other day as she was busy giving the citizens of the Sougen Region notice about the party that she was holding for her friends, and for the people she had never met before. Everyone was welcome.
Mitsuko puts her whole heart into everything that she does. She makes sure that she starts her project strong, and finishes strong. As this was going to be a big event, instead of making lots, and LOTS of invitations for each and every person in the domain and using a lot of paper and ink, instead the angel had spent her time creating little goodie baskets to give to each person. It was to commemorate the event, and besides everyone could use a little sugar now and again right?
Each basket had an assortment of cookies, mini cupcakes with rainbow coloured sprinkles. In addition to the sweets she actually included a teddy bear as well. It made her happy that she was able to create such nice things for people, since making people happy was her other purpose in life other than being a gaurdian angel.
Madame May had been worried at how the angel was working herself to the bone, along with her friends to make this event possible, The maid could tell that Mitsuko was in pain but she had denied her pain and casted aside. What was important to her was making sure that those that she cared about- (even total strangers) were happy and were well, and felt like they were welcomed to this special party.
The angel had started to make her way in the valley though she got a feeling that someone else was there too. Basket in hand she went close to where the vibes were coming from, and there she saw a little boy.
And as usual, she gave this stranger a greeting.
"Beautiful morning isn't it? It's not every day a person is able to see the sunrise..."

Sean temporarily stiffened in shock as he heard a voice all of a sudden, then quickly flipped away from the source of the voice in childlike nimbleness. He is very wary of everyone, but since the owl on his shoulder didn't startled, Sean can tell this stranger isn't a threat. Then again, Celeste didn't react even the slightest bit, which means this person isn't important or connected in his quest.
She's just a passer-by. A flying passer-by.
His eyelids widens and the tinge of green in his eyes brightens at the sight of this stranger's wings. 'She has wings like Celeste..' He concluded in his head, before dropping the topic off so as to not looked so shocked in front of a total stranger.
Sean didn't respond to this lady's statement, more or less wary rather than unfriendly. He unconsciously even took a few steps back, so as to keep his distance. He does not like people invading his space. The little boy just eyed this woman from head to toe, his mind already began gearing up on what to expect and what to do.
"The reason you are standing here is to see the sun rising?" Ever the answer-seeker. Sean would not be himself if there aren't questions spewing out of his mouth.

Mitsuko felt this young boy's emotions so she just respected his space by not coming to close. She slowly made sure her wings were not present after a while since she was indeed sore so now she just looked like a regular human.
She smiled at the boy, and she got the feeling he may not smile back at her, but that doesn't mean she shouldn't smile at him as a greeting, let alone she wouldn't be offended if he didn't return that smile since his mind is preoccupied about something, and maybe he didn't like smiling at people who knows?
"Actually I felt a vibe nearby and when i followed it, it brought me to you so I said I may as well greet you since it would have been rude of me not to greet you, and it's polite. I'm Mitsuko... What's your name?"

The little boy immediately turned away from the lady when he noticed she smiled to him, and faces the brightening prairies instead. The sun is steadily rising, and Sean noted the slight dotted movements far off in the horizon, the birds are beginning their journey. He usually took this cue of the birds to get a move on, but he has a stranger to respond to.
He didn't want to, honestly, but when someone asks him a question, it's his personal motto to answer. However, as he woke up on the wrong side of the bed...or probably the ground...his decent attitude slips off a bit.
"Spare your politeness, it doesn't mean anything this early in the morning," it's true, considering Sean is not really a morning person, so politeness doesn't really affect him, nor would he display it. At least, only during the morning. "...Good morning, Mitsuko. ..I'm called as Sean.." There's a certain tone in this child that made him appear rather mature than what he looked like...or perhaps it's that solemn attitude of his.
"Celeste said hi too." But as mature as he acts, he's still a child who believes in the existence of imaginary friends.

"Haha, even if politeness doesn't mean anything to you at the moment, I still have respect for people. I can't just be rude anytime I feel like it. That doesn't feel right to me personally."
She placed the basket that she was carrying on the ground she was a little tired from holding it in her arms for so long, though she didn't complain she just took what she felt head on.
Mitsuko then heard the little boy mention his friend Celeste and how she said hello as well. She couldn't see Celeste but at the same time she didn't see this little boy as crazy. That's the innocence of a child they have big imaginations, and the angel didn't see anything wrong with that. So why should she judge? Perhaps Sean's friend Celeste was his guardian. Mitsuko was told by her mother as a child that each time a new baby is born into the world, they have a guardian that watches over them.
Sometimes the baby would even play with the angels that only he or she can see. These guardians come to a child because of their innocence, and they need protection from evil spirits.
"Oh she does? Well hello to you too Celeste. Pleasure to meet you! ^_^.. And it is nice to meet you Sean." the angel also noticed how mature he was for his age and she just smiled. Maturity was a good thing. She also got the feeling that he's very bright too.

Sean sighed, though it annoys him to have company so early in the morning, it won't barricade his mind from being rational. He had forgotten that some people value manners at all times, and this woman was one of them. At this, the little boy scratched his hair.
"I'm...sorry, my manners slipped. That was improper of me," he apologized, still in such a dignified air, similar to a full-grown polite adult. "...How do you know Celeste's a she, anyway?"
His logical mind was much too hard to please that questions are necessary, even meaningless ones. Perhaps this is why he doesn't talk much, because often when he asks a question, others either won't respond or ignore him completely.
Sean tilted his head suddenly, something attracted his sense of smell. His nose led his eyes gazed towards the basket Mitsuko had put down, and though he can't clearly see what exactly is in there, it transcended his curiosity.
It escaped his notice that he's been staring at the basket for quite some time.

"Oh no worries Sean. I am not offended that you forgot, it happens and sometimes people don't remember to use their manners so, after a while you just begin to not mind. I mean I can't control how people act. All I can do is just remind them in a subtle way haha."
That was what the angel was learning to do. TO not be so preachy but at the same time give people certain advice and reminders in a subtle way. She has been told that she is too preachy so she is taking a different route. Subtly.
Then the little boy asked how Mitsuko knew that Celeste was a girl.
"The name sounds fitting for a girl ^_^ so it was easy to figure out."
Mitsuko then notice where Sean's eyes began to stare after a while at the basket that Mitsuko had set on the ground.
She giggled and went over to the basket, picked it up and brought it closer to Sean.
"Would you like this gift basket? It's free, and it is to kick off this party I'm having. If you don't want it then that's okay too, I just thought this would be a more creative way to invite someone, instead of just paper invitations.."

Though unseen, Celeste hooted for the first time that day, in response to Mitsuko's comments of her name. Sean doesn't seem to take that all too importantly though...because he thought he smelt baked goods from inside the basket.
His eyes are still set towards the basket, that when it moved, he quickly shook his head to regain back his composure to respond properly. "...Gift basket?" Granted that Sean has only set foot onto the outside world for less than a year, he doesn't know much of what some objects are even called as. His genetically poisoned mind can sometimes pop out random unknown big words for him to use, but Sean himself doesn't even know what the words even meant.
All he knows now is that basket smells good.
As the lady brings the basket closer to his view, Sean could see the assortments of cookies, muffins and cupcakes. His eyes widened at the sudden treats present in front of his eyes when its still so early in the morning. As tempting as it is for him to accept them, he must have full control of himself.
"Did you baked all that? ...And what is a...'party'..?"

"A party is when a huge group of people get together and have fun ^_^- in addition to having fun people eat and talk with each other. You are more then welcome to come. Even Celeste too."
The angel smiled and gave him the gift basket.
"And a gift basket is what you see before you. It is a collection of treats that is given to a person during a special occasion. But in this case it is a mixture of a special occasion and invitation."
Mitsuko was relieved to have that basket out of her arms, but at the same time she was also happy that there was a chance that she was going to be making this kid smile.

"Have...fun?" The boy asked as if he has never heard of that word, "And what benefit do you get if when you have...'fun'..?" It's not even possible to hear such a question from a child, but here is an 8-year-old, asking not only the benefit of fun, but as if he doesn't know the very definition of it.
"Thank you for inviting, but I don't think I can fit in," Sean almost continued 'Because I don't talk', but he can imagine that doesn't sound as realistic as it does in his head. Celeste noted that it sounded as if he's suffering a social problem...which he doesn't. Or at least he believes he doesn't.
He took another glance of the gift basket, then blinked, suddenly isn't feeling all that well to receive this kind of gesture. "..I'm not attending the...'party'. You don't need to give it to me." He looked up to Mitsuko and steps back from the gift basket.
"I'm looking for someone, actually.." he voiced out his true reason for even declining the invitation, "A man named Anthony Reinhardt. ...Do you happen to know who he is..?" Sean was hoping. He had hoped every time he ask that question, someone would at least nod.

"Oh... Okay... But if you change your mind you are more then welcome to come to the party but you don't have to if you don't want to."
She smiled a little and then shook her head, but at the same time she felt a little sad that he wasn't going to be attending, but she couldn't force a person to come if they didn't want to.
"Actually I don't mind if you take this gift basket, even if you aren't attending. It is important to give then to receive after all, and you can enjoy these baked goods. If there are too many left overs then I think one of the maids at the inn there will just throw it away... "
Mitsuko then heard the little boy's question and recalled that she has heard of Anthony.
"Yes I have heard of him but I also heard that he is still teaching at the academy in which I used to attend. A lot of the students that had him as a teacher had a lot of complaints about him.. however come to think of it I haven't actually met him directly, I just heard about him. At one point I was thinking of seeking him out to see if he could have helped restore my memories... However recently I gained them back all on my own."
"Umm... Having fun means participating in activities that make you feel happy."

Celeste's right. The owl had said that this woman seems like the type to help, and based on her response about the importance of giving than receiving, Sean only glanced at the imaginary bird on his shoulder.
"I expected you would say that.." he muttered with his head down. At the sight of his shoes, he reminded himself to fix it later with all the holes apparent, "My mother never told me to not accept things from strangers...which is why I tend to depend on strangers for chances."
The little boy looked up, his face solemn but calm, similar to the winds around them. "Thank you for your generosity," his frown suddenly formed into a tiny smile, "...I do like baked goods. Very much."
That smile didn't last for very long, because this lady just admitted that she has certainly met this man. "WHAT??" This might probably be the first time Sean outbursts in surprise like that, "You mean it?! Cross your heart and hope to unlive?!!" ...Yes, he is still a child no matter how serious he is, people kept forgetting that.
The boy doesn't care what sort of crimes his father had committed, that is not his responsibility. All he has in mind is dragging that man back to his mother, then his quest is done. "School, which school? Name, location?" He didn't expect at all that he would find his father this early, it hasn't even reach one year from the moment he left his home.
While he was busy plotting how to remember all these information, one sentence of Mitsuko's statement seemed a little odd, that it reached him a little late to his notice. "Seeking him out...to restore memories..?"
Now it's starting to bug Sean.
"What kind of things does my father teach..?"

Mitsuko noticed the smile that Sean made apparent and she smiled too.
"Hey there is a smile.. haha ^_^, it's a small smile but a smile nonetheless. Oh I see well that is understandable as we are practically strangers, but I want to assure you that I am not a devious woman, but if I was a mother I would have told my child the same thing."
She nodded in agreement, and then once she mentioned that she heard about Anthony to Sean the child became a little excited, it was as if he finally struck a gold mine by all the answers that he had just received. There was no doubt about it. Sean knows this Anthony, and there was a connection between the two.
"Okay well I remember checking out the school's roster at one point and it said that Anthony teaches Telepathy/Telekinesis Class and Dream Controlling/Recalling classes."
"Now as for the school's location... It is on the other side of this domain, called Diabolic Domain Academy."
"And yes.. cross my heart and hope to unlive.. ^_^, I wanted to seek him out because I lost all of my memories... I couldn't remember anything about myself besides my name, and my species. My friend Syani suggested that I seek him out if I couldn't remember my memories... And I was considering it until recently. My memories triggered just from my best friend's name... and now I don't have to go see Anthony."

The gift basket in Sean's hands dropped, though thankfully, because of how small he is, the basket landed perfectly still without any of the goods littered on the ground due to the little height it falls from.
He stared up at this woman with his eyes wide, absorbing every word she said, even the unnecessary ones. "What in the world is telepathy and telekinesis??" he whispered to himself, or more like asking Celeste on his shoulder. The owl simply hooted calmly as a response.
"Seek him out because you lost your mem-- what??" he tried to repeat what the angel said, then found out what was spoken out of his mouth to be illogical. That can't be right...what exactly IS his father?
The child shook his head after a while, making up his mind that he's ponder about those later, when he finds Anthony. 'Diabolic Domain... okay.' He was about to walk off, totally forgetting the gift basket, before pausing and turning his head to face the lady, "Wait, where's that? What country is that academy in?"
He looks so serious, it's as if that smile he has shown before never existed.
