"You only live once... huh?" Ritsu idly pondered about that saying as she stared at the reddening sky while she and Kisa walked towards town. She supposed that it was true, that everyone only had one life to live, but what about someone like her whose life went on indefinitely? Ritsu didn't know if she actually had a lifespan or if she's truly an immortal. The monks at home, even the general population of Kumo, practically deitified the ninetailed fox. Ritsu never thought of herself as a god but gods were immortal, right? Was she also timeless?
She smiled hollowly at the thought that even though she's almost 1000 years old, she still didn't know the answer.
"I guess you're right, your mom's right, just one life, ne? Enjoy as much as we can, ne?" The fox spirit grinned, feeling slightly lifted. She really liked meeting humans with such a mindset, so optimistic. She herself was optimistic too but after all the long years she had spent in this world, optimism had become rarer and rarer. Ritsu wasn't the one to give up though. Optimism was the only reason why she was happy right now.
"Say..." Ritsu said absently before turning to look at the other girl and grinning, "Wanna watch my performance?"

Kisa nodded her head in response to her first question. That was her line and she was sticking to it. Kisa's mom would be proud of her right now. Exploring the world, and not looking back. And Kisa took pride in that. She lived her life to the fullest, that she could. It was one advice that kisa had taken to heart as a young girl and she was glad she did.
Kisa was then asked a question to see her new friends performance. Kisa's face lit up with excitement. "Of course I would!!!" She said cheerfully. She was excited, Music was a away of expressing yourself, And it looked like Ritsu was very self expressive. A free person that did what she wanted.
"Oh I bet your really good too!" Kisa continued with that bright smile of hers. She really was interested in how she plays and couldn't wait to see.
