As the old man is busy packing up behind the counter, he did not realized one of his customers is approaching him. His eyes are quite bad as he could not even see someone's face even when they're standing at an arm's length of him.
It's only during the time when he feels the warmth of his throat and body that almost felt familiar and comforting that he realized there's a person standing in front of him across the counter. Before he could comprehend what's happening, he can hear the voice of a young lady.
"Whaat? A nurse..??" Unfortunately, his hearing is going bad too, and it doesn't help that Mitsuko's voice is so faint and gentle, he couldn't quite catch her words much. He went back to his packing after the woman went off, collecting his keys and some changes before stuffing all of them in his coat pocket.
He was busy looking for something under the counter that he didn't notice Mitsuko puts an envelope on the counter, so as he stood up, of course he saw the object. Before he could even react, Elie came and smacked a few coins on his table, to which Pops can't help but to smile.
"Gahahah! Much thanks.." He said in his rough elderly voice, putting the coins inside the envelope. "I'll give this to my granddaughter once I visited my son. Thank you." Pops reached out a shivering hand towards the bowler hat that was hanged on the wall there and wears it with a smile.
"I ought to lock the shop now. Go, go..!"
Len is absolutely excited once the lady offers him some candies, and he nodded optimistically as she asked him to keep it a sercret. "Thank you..!" He mouthed towards her quietly while accepting the candies she gave him.
The little boy giggled when the lady touched his nose. Then Pops announced that he's about to close the shop, so Len ran off following Elie to the door. "C'mon, lady!" He called to Mitsuko, holding the door open for her.

Finally done with buying the parts he wants, Leo is just strutting his way towards the candy store when he saw Elie running right out of it and bumps into him.
"Whoa, whoa.." Since she possesses childlike bounce, the little girl simply hopped to the back after smashing into him. Leo, however, took 3 to 5 steps backwards and almost fell off his feet. Thankfully, his balance is regained before that happens.
"I see you got your candy, Elie." He commented as he rubs his leg where the little girl hits the most strongly. Looking at the store, he saw a little boy holding open the door, and soon the figure of the angel stepping out.
"Got your jellybeans?"

the angel being glad that she helped the elderly man smiled and then made her way out the door, which was kindly being held for her by the kind little boy. She kneeled down and patted his head and then looked at Leo who had asked her if she got the jellybeans and she had the brightest smile on her face.
“Yep! Zero will be so happy. You see candy is such a rarity in Veyyard so whenever he runs out I just can’t help but replace it for him. My thanks are a hug and sweet kisses from him. Hahaha! Oh that is right Leo can we go to that shoe shop now if you don’t mind? I need to replace Hunter’s shoes since I barfed on them when I was sick, and I promised I would replace them.”
“And then when we get them I am going to wrap it up as a present with a nice bow on top, since Hunter loves things with style and I should respect that haha.
The angel then took a picture of the children so that she will always remember them.
‘Good bye you two and I hope to see you again, if you are ever in Sougen please stop by at the Inn I live there.”

Seeing that bright smile on Mitsuko's face confirmed the answer before she even answered him vocally. "I don't think there even are candies sold at Veyyard.." Leo remarked with a tap of his finger to his chin. He only nodded at her eagerness to the shoe store next.
That's when the children decided to bid their farewell, and Leo watched as Mitsuko took a picture of them. "Allow me. You go and pose with them." He offered, extending his hand to take over as the cameraman for the day, and then once they're ready, took a picture of Mitsuko, Elli and Len together.
"Perfect." He said after the shot, and the children waved their goodbyes before racing each other off. "...I salute those who uses their energies in ther life," Leo apathetically said with a wave to the disappearing children before turning around to continue their way to the shoe store.
He gave back the camera to her while he turns around, and then faces forward to look for their next destination. "Oh, I forgot to mention.. Kumo prides its stocks, whether in food or clothing, to not use any animal products." He glanced at the angel as he stated out the fact.
"Thus, for your friend Hunter, I believe the store does not sell any shoes made from leather or any other animal skin, I believe." Leo nodded, facing forward again. "Don't worry though, they sold quite a lot of shoes despite it being made from materials other than animal skin." He saw the shop in sight a few distance away, so he pointed towards it. "There it is."
A smile was formed on his face, Leo was quite fond of the shopkeeper of this particular shoe store. She looks quite a bit like his own mother that Leo couldn't help but to simply stare at her for reminiscence sake. Once he arrived at the door, he opened it and stepped aside for Mitsuko to enter first. "After you." After all, it was his mother's teachings.

Mitsuko smiled at Leo as she helped her take a picture with the children as a keepsake, and then soon they both made their way to the shoe store. Leo had mentioned to the angel that they don’t use animals to make their products and she smiled in relief. She had a love for animals, because after all she did take care of a dove and she wouldn’t like it if someone had used Milo’s feathers for a product to sell.
The angel gently stepped inside the shoe store and browsed around at all the shoes that Hunter may like, and so keeping in mind his fashion sense Mitsuko got a nice pair of shoes that had a striking resemblance to the ones that she had accidentally ruined when she was sick.
She remembered that Hunter moped around for days that his favorite shoes were ruined, but at the same time whenever he saw Mitsuko he still had a brimming smile on his face. Mitsuko felt terrible that she had messed up his shoes so this was the least she could do to say and show that she was truly sorry. When you mess up in a big way then you will have to make up in an even bigger way.
“Hunter is going to be cheered up now. There is a saying that goes when a person messes up in a big way, and then you have to make up in an even bigger way. He’s such a good sport though but deep down I know he misses his shoes. Now I can sleep peaceful tonight in knowing that I have made it up to my friend.”
“I think I should call him and let him know that I have a surprise for him, please excuse me Leo thank you for accompanying me today, again I am so sorry I interrupted your nap, but it was great to spend the day with you. We should do this again sometime, and I am also so glad that you are healthy again Leo. Your health is your greatest treasure, please take good care of yourself.”
The angel slowly made her way to a private section of the village and made the phone call to Hunter, and once the line started to ring she was hoping that today wasn’t a busy day so she could at least get through, and when she did this is what she said.
“Hello Hunter, I am just calling to let you know that I have a present waiting for you, when you come home tonight, it’s something that I owe you and an apology on behalf of me. Oh no no if I tell you now it won’t be a surprise. It will be ruined. Hahaha is that Zero in the background grumbling like a gremlin? Please tell him that I have a present for him as well.”

Hunter was leaning his back against a tree as he sat underneath it just taking a break with Zero from a hard mission, and so here they were having a water break, and in Hunter’s case talking to Miki. His lips formed into a grin when she said that she had a present for him, and automatically Hunter became excited wanting Miki to at least give him hints but she flat out refused. The cowboy could tell from the first day that he met her, that Miki was the type to go all out for someone to make them feel special.
What made it even more amusing was the fact that Hunter could hear Zero getting jealous in the background, and when Miki had referred to Zero as the grumbling gremlin he laughed. “Hey Grumbling gremlin would you relax? Your darling angel has gotten something for you too during her excursion in this village that she was exploring~~ so no puffed up faces now m’kay? Or else I shall tell Miki to keep the present away from you until you behave like a good boy!”
Hunter teased Zero like a big brother, but he still saw his face puff up like a chipmunk, that he just had to snap a photo of this new facial expression of Zero’s from his phone to send to Miki. ‘Click’ went the camera phone, and he and Mitsuko laughed once she received the picture.
“See that Miki? He looks like a chipmunk with his cheeks all puffed up because he’s jealous~~~~ Haha! See you at home then! Later!”
