“Oh you are very welcome. Friends help each other right? I mean wisdom is another one of life’s gifts. It’s so much better when shared. I truly hope that you and your friend become closer, it’s so nice to have that feeling of being close to at least one special person in your life. I’ll be honest about something Lee… I… After my first boyfriend left without warning, and after I waited quite a long time for him to return… I felt like I wouldn’t find love again. Losing your first love is never easy, and of course I was crushed. My heart was broken so much so it physically hurt as if I was going to have a heart attack.”
“I waited years for him to return… and for him to find me since in the middle of my second year in high school I got a letter stating that I had to go back to Japan to run my temple. I wanted to let him know but Neji was already gone. Now I was faced with a decision… A big one.”
“Do I stay at DD or do I go and do my duties at the temple? I chose to go attend to my duties since there are those counting on me. I spent years running the temple.. During my stay at the temple I met someone. That someone soon became my boyfriend, and since there was no sign of Neji or him finding me… I decided to move on. But then… my other boyfriend left. Soon after that I shut the temple’s doors for good… But not before I got sick and my soul got stuck between heaven and earth, which gave me another form. An angel form mind you, but an angel that wasn’t at peace and was stuck.”
“It wasn’t my time to die… And now that I think about it… Because I had something else to do, and all the people that I have bonds with.. I was revived back into the angel I once was. The afterlife broken hearted angel is no more.”
The angel stopped for a moment to compose herself and then continued.
“So you see there was a problem with both my relationships… Communication was lost… because we had other commitments, I don’t think it matters who left first and who didn’t… It’s just with the lack of communication, time, and just nurturing it.
But then again the relationships (romantic) don’t always last forever during high school years.. I think it’s a rarity to see high school sweethearts who are still together to this day. Most people find new relationships in college because of how mature people become, and how each person changes from that high school to that mature person in university, and also the fact that the transition from high school to university can be so different..”
“That is what I learned.. So I don’t blame either of them. There is always a reason why things happen the way they do, and life changes everyday. Nothing ever is the same. It’s like everyday is a new adventure. The good thing about my romantic relationships is that those two were committed to me--- Meaning they didn’t cheat.
“Because of those relationships I grew, I learned and I am the woman I want to be. I still have my dreams, my hopes… and the one thing that I want to accomplish more than anything else is to get married and have a family of my own. I’ve already started my career so the one thing that is missing is me being a mom. I.. I mean I am like a mother to the wonderful orphaned children but… I always wanted to have a child of my own too. My mother passed away when I was very young.. but within those short years that I had with her, I knew the feeling of a mother’s love for her child. I wanted to share what I was feeling with others and that was love.”
“I give love to Zero, and everyone else around me. And I’ll continue to do so because it’s a gift that everyone deserves. No one is less deserving of love ever. Everyone deserves it. And you know even letting go of someone can be a form of love too in it’s own right. I let my father go, since he mistreated me. But do I hate him? No.
But I just have to do what’s right for me. I’m not letting go of my father because I maliciously want to hurt him. I’m letting him go since being a father isn’t in his blood. I can’t force him to love me and accept me if he doesn’t want to. All I can do is move on. If I marry my Zero in the future I know in my heart we will be blessed..”
“Zero tends to be misunderstood a lot… but if a person just digs deeper they will see what I see… A loving and protective person. He has his worries of course… but he still loves. I know this because he does exhibits those feelings toward me and innocent children.
“And when it comes to you and the young woman… Even if there are no words that are spoken.. you can just feel that warmth. That genuine warmth when you care about someone. Love is as warm as my light.. Let me show you.”
She took Leo’s hand and allowed him to feel her warm angelic healing light.

Leo primarily gained so much knowledge and wisdom by listening. He's not much of a talker unless prompted to, and only when it's truly necessary for him to speak up. The moment this gentle angel began revealing of how she attained such a strong heart was from pain, Leo jittered slightly.
"Life sometimes taught us valuable lessons with the cruelest methods.. I'm sorry you had to go through such things alone.." He spoke. Due to his unsentimental nature, he has no idea what to do when encountered with such a situation; a saddened friend for example.
"I now understand why you hold life so preciously, and why take priority in love. I am sure your family and friends are grateful you haven't leave them.." Since Mitsuko provided so much help for so many people already. If she were to be gone, then a lot of those people would have been lost, that Zero boy especially.
Leo is unfortunately inexperienced in conveying feelings. His mother died also, like Mitsuko, and he was left alone in an abandoned chamber for years of his life without any human contact. Perhaps that's why he's so used detaching himself from others that when somebody came in knocking on the door of his heart, it surprised the life out of him.
"H-huh?" Leo literally did jumped a bit when the angel took a hold of his hand in the warmth of her magic. He blinked furiously while staring at his hand, trying to figure out if this strange comfortable feeling is of any logic by just touching.
"..Thank you. That feels...refreshing," Leo nodded politely at her, unsure of what else to say as he tries to understand if this feeling of snug - safe and warm - is true. Remarkable magical beings amazed him since he doesn't even believe in magic, and they also gave him headaches because it cracked his brain as he tries to understand them logically.

Mitsuko was an individual that was full of life and vibrancy, and she never hesitated to share her abilities with others. Not showing off per say but she used them for when she was teaching someone a lesson in life, and also used them when someone needed her help. She wanted to show Leo her way of life and how she lived it day to day, despite being hurt.
Instead of wallowing in sadness she stood up and continued her best to move forward, and it has benefited her, because she realized through her heartache that she was so strong. Giving up never gets us anywhere. Sure it’s fine to acknowledge when things hurt and causing us pain, but life waits for no one, we all have to exhibit courage everyday.
Whether it is having courage to accept love that is so great, standing up for what we believe in, and to even make changes in our lives. Sometimes all we need is a little push, with of course people that understand our feelings and us. People grow at their own pace but it’s so valuable. She just smiled at Leo.
“It’s alright. That’s how love feels, it feels like a warmth that is hugging your heart and won’t let you go. That’s how I feel when I am around those I love. When there are things in life staring at us in our face, we sometimes we get scared to go after it, but then we are left with the feelings of “what could it have been?”
“My healing power comes from my love for everyone, including strangers, and children, love is like a never ending hug for the heart. When you find love don’t let it go. Even though my mom died I can never stop loving her.”

Leo tilts his head very slightly at the angel's answer. She answered with outstanding details that he normally would not understand unless he had felt that very same feeling. Thankfully, his feelings did not failed him for only that one time, so he truly did understand what Mitsuko is saying.
"Such a strange thing...love is." He pondered out loud quizzically, his eyes gazing upwards to the brightening skies. Although it's noon, the skies in Ianne were always so cloudy and cool. The angel's words were of truth, what COULD have been if he were to ignore Rayl?
Leo smiled to himself, it certainly has been quite a strange ride so far, and despite this, he actually enjoyed it. When Mitsuko explained of her healing power, Leo directed that small smile of his towards her, "Angels are fascinating beings. ...When I buried my mother, this kind old undertaker held me by the shoulder and told me, that the angels are watching over my late mother now, so I need not be worried of her."
The small smile stayed on his lips as he looked upwards again, "I don't think love towards a mother can ever be erased.." He then calmly faced back to Mitsuko, "I miss her so very much.. You do too, I can see that. ...It's sad that we can't reach them physically, but as you say, they will always stay in our hearts."
Leo uses such a gentle tone whenever he speaks, it's as if he's so fragile, one hit of an insult would break him to pieces. Still, his eyes never waver as he spoke of something so sensitive, and his blue orbs studied Mitsuko for a short while.
"Come here," he said all of a sudden, opening his arms to accept her in a hug. This is what his mother always does whenever he came home bruised and crying from being thrown around and bullied too much. "If your mother could see you right now, I'm positively sure she would be so proud for what you have become, Mitsuko."

Mitsuko smiled at her friend and gave him a hug.
“Love is a wonderful thing. Some people are worried about the pain that love brings, but they shouldn’t lose sight of the beauty. I know this from my own relationship that I am in, and will be in for the rest of my life. He’s my darling; despite any disagreements we may have with each other Zero is still my darling.
My mother, I know she wants the best for me and if she was still alive she would tell me to listen to my heart.”
The angel hugged Leo for a long while and then slowly released him.
“Your caretaker is right. Your mom is being taken care of by the angels, but the angels are also watching over you too. Look in front of you. I’m an angel myself and I’ll always be here for you, because that’s what angels do. That’s what friends do. I want you to keep this as a symbol of our friendship okay Lee?”
She went inside her little tote bag and pulled out what looked like a regular stone, but this stone was different. She closed her eyes and made a wish over it.
‘Leo is such a good person at heart, so kind, so sweet, and so gentle. I wish for him to always find his way in his life and when he has an obstacle to overcome please give him the strength to overcome such challenges. Life is never without challenges but at the end of those challenges, is growth. I wish him the very best.’
After she opened her eyes she placed the angelic stone in Leo’s palm.
“This stone is a symbol of our friendship Leo, and I made a wish over it. That you’ll have the very best in life. Thank you Leo, you will be my friend for a lifetime, never forget that okay? Now what do you say we take a walk around town? Do you know if they have any gift shops around here? I want to bring back souvenirs for my bounty hunting family haha.”

Happy that his reaction for this kind of situation is correct, Leo released the angel from the hug with a smile. "Ah, it's not love that I'm fearful of. It's the responsibility that goes along with it." He admitted with a gentle chuckle, "Because I fear if I am unable to provide enough feelings to fuel such a thing called love."
His eyes are down-casted for a moment, wondering if he can even keep up with such a strong emotion, given the lack of feelings he has. Also because Rayl is not even a human to begin with. This thing called love is so alien to the both of them, so it worries him if there is no such thing as a happy ending for them both.
"Ahaha... I have no caretaker, it's the undertaker that manages the grave site that told me about angels. It's the first time I heard of angels that day, and with me being so lost at the moment, I would believe anything." He was so young before, so small and scrawny. He dislocated a shoulder from carrying his dead mother from the house into the grave site, and it was raining so hard.
Just remembering flashes of that dark memory made Leo stared silently downwards. Not long after his mother died, their house was brought down by the tax collectors, who sold everything inside the house to pay the taxes his late mother couldn't afford to. It was such a sad turn point for Leo, but his feelings wasn't strong.
It's like he wasn't even affected by the tragedy that had befall onto him. He didn't even cried.
No. Leo never cries unless it involves physical pain. Emotional pain is something he had never felt. He never felt anything emotional, to start of with. Even if he did, then only faintly, never too strong to evoke internal pain.
So he smiled. He smiled at the angel he had believed in since the day he had lost everything. "Thank you for your kind words of encouragement." Words won't effect him much either, since it involves the internal systems for the meanings to resound. Still, he's grateful for what the time Mitsuko had spent talking with him.
"Oh.. Thank you." Once Mitsuko gave him a stone of sorts, Leo thankfully accepted the gift and stares at the item in between his fingers, "This would make a great necklace. I can easily attach a sort of chain around it to make it seem like a pendant." He reconsiders his idea as he smiled at the stone.
"I can make you something in return," he said as he turned to speak to her, though not specifying what he'll make for her. Leo then nodded in agreement of accompanying her to buy some souvenirs. "Sure. I was planning to head over to the house that provided me with my mood ring. The young child there is absolutely talented in making little handcrafts and origami, he asked me to stop by if I needed to buy things like that."
As he spoke, Leo packed his things back in his bag and stood up, outstretching his hand towards Mitsuko for the lady to take. "Please, allow me to keep you company for the day."
So as they walk towards the house that Leo was talking about, he kept her informed of what else is he planning to do. "In that same house where the creative child lives, his older brother is selling different types of woods and metals as crafting materials. I always purchase some items from him, and I'm planning to buy some now. Then, there's their sister, who's good in gift-wrapping." He swore that whole family are blessed with nimble hands in their genetics.
"After that, there's an old man who opens up a shoe shack and is able to repair some shoes. I need him to patch up the holes of my boots.." Leo admitted, and then asked if Mitsuko would like to go shoe-shopping there to pass time as Leo got his boots repaired.
"Oh, yes. And the flower shop. I need to get a special type of earth and a few sunflower seeds." He mentally listed down whatever he needed to get done today. That's why he napped, because he knows today he's going to do a lot of walking and shopping, so he needs the energy to do so.
"Out of the shops I listed, maybe you could find something suitable as your gifts to your family?"

Mitsuko listened to Leo’s words and nodded her head in understanding. From what she remembered, Zero at one point doubted himself if he would ever be able to make Mitsuko happy, but he does make her happy, and that is something in which the angel had to remind Zero of. She gently took Leo’s hand when he offered it, and responded to him:
“In my opinion true love is infinite, as it never runs out once it’s nurtured. With Zero and I for example, our love went through stages, from best friend love that transitioned into a deeper love. I feel that Zero was in love with me for a very long time, as he exhibited jealousy, protectiveness, and he was always in constant worry. Actually he still is that way, but the point is the love has grown and I don’t mind his protectiveness or even his jealousy. It shows me that he cares for me.”
“While he was only my best friend at the beginning, it ended up turning into something more. He is still my best friend, but I love him more each day, and I have a strong feeling if I ever fell in love and married someone else, let’s say I married my first boyfriend and he never left. I don’t think… Zero would be okay with it, because of his feelings. Before if you had talked to Zero about me finding someone, he of course would talk so bravely about it, and say that he has to be okay with it first, but… I think deep down it would kill him.”
The angel spoke honestly to Leo as they walked.
“I wasn’t expecting Neji, my first boyfriend to leave me just like that. It broke my heart and it took me a while to heal from it, and then I met my second love, and that didn’t work out as he left too. Now… the heavens brought me to the person I was meant to be with. Kissed a few frogs before kissing the prince. Everyone deserves love no one should be deprived of it, as much as it can hurt, I know it is a beautiful thing. I know Zero is still worried about if he can make me happy, but I’ll always be here, giving him love and affection, and lots of smiles.”
“Oh can we go to the shoe shop afterwards? I have to buy a new pair of shoes for a man named Hunter. He is my boyfriend’s partner, and well…. I ended up barfing on his shoes when I was sick. The poor man was forced to burn them with tears in his eyes. So I have been meaning to get him a new pair to replace them.”
She paused when Leo offered to make her something in return.
“I have a request if you don’t mind. Leo you are an artist right? Well I was wondering if you could make a painting of Zero, for me to give to him as a present. I mean I would paint him but every artist has a unique style… Kind of like an artistic fingerprint. Artists are different and unique in their own way.”
“Is there a place in which they sell treats? Like jellybeans?”

Leo had to chuckle a bit at Mitsuko's explanation of how that Zero boy exhibited symptoms of being in love, though his chuckle sounded constrained a bit. Leo is unable to smile much, because he has weak muscle tissues around his cheeks, thus is why most of his attempts to smile and laugh looked so restrained.
"I see. So what you're saying, feelings can change over time." Leo had knew of this wisdom, though what worries him if it changes for the better or for the worst. There's just those two options in the end. It's just like Mitsuko said, some feelings are fated to be as it is, no matter what the circumstances.
So as they walked hand in arm through the pathway of the calm village, Leo listened intently to the angel's story while had his arm slightly extended to lead the lady the way. "Alright, we're heading to the shoe shop either way after visiting the house that sells the materials I want."
When Mitsuko paused, Leo was forced to halt his steps too, turning his head to the angel questioningly. "Why, I'd be honored to paint him. Based on how much I've heard of him, I'm unsure how long can the boy sit still for me to do so, but I have my own tricks up my sleeves." He nodded to Mitsuko with a small smile.
"This place is filled with children. I do believe they sell small treats and titbits like that somewhere.." Leo gazed his eyes to the line of shop houses now in sight. He lead Mitsuko inside one of them, where a small child went up to them and greeted them.
Leo released Mitsuko to have a chat with the child for a while as he walked deeper inside the house-shop until he found a young man behind a counter, arranging screws and bolts in many small compartments.
"I'd like to order the usual, please. With a few pieces of copper strips too, if you have them."

Elli beamed a grin up towards the lady in white, "Hi! I haven't seen you around before... Are you a tourist?" The little girl asked Mitsuko with a giddy hop of her feet.
"Come here, if you're new here, I wanna show you my collection!" Taking hold of Mitsuko's hand, the child lead the lady to the other counter beside her brother's who's busy talking with Leo.
Then, Elli brings up a few large triangular boxes with see-through glass covers. Inside, were countless colorful handicrafts of all shapes and sizes. Some are earrings, some are wrist bands, some are necklaces. In one triangular box, hosts many striking origami in the shapes of beautiful flowers and birds.
"I made them myself! I'm pretty good with paper and solder small things together!" She opened the transparent cover of the origami box and took out two artistically folded white papers in the form of a pair of doves.
"Look, see." She pulled the two doves away, to demonstrate that her origami can easily seperates from the cleverly folded seam. "And you can join them back too!" Elli excitedly said as she puts the two origami doves together and they linked perfectly as if they have never been seperated.
"Two in the price of one, if you want~! I can sell these to you for 5 silver coins, 'cuz it's easy to make. ..And I kind of want to buy a packet of bonbons from the candy shop, eheh."

Mitsuko smiled at the little girl and took a look at her collection that was presented before the angel. The angel loved everything that was shown—as she had a love for doves and flowers ever since she was a little girl. Mitsuko wanted to bring more joy to this little girl so she asked:
“Have you ever seen a dove? A real dove? If you haven’t I have a surprise for you.”
The angel called to Milo, and Milo went and greeted the little girl, by nuzzling the little girl’s cheeks.
“Oh I’m sorry I didn’t introduce myself yet. My name is Mitsuko. You are incredibly talented, and I’ll give you more then 5 silver, because everyone has to make a living, and as long as I have I’ll continue to give. I’ll take more than one of your origami pieices, these will compliment my bedroom ^_^ thank you so much.”
Mitsuko then heard the little girl mention candy, and since the angel was on the hunt for a candy store, she asked:
“Speaking of candy, do you know where the local candy store is around here? I have someone dear who loves jellybeans, and I know he’s almost out of his candy. Hahaha.”

The little girl clapped her hands together in surprise and mirth when the customer actually called a real live dove, and it actually landed on her shoulder and nuzzled her cheek. "Waaahhh! This is so cute! I've never touched one before!"
Clearly very happy that a dove is on her shoulder and the customer, who has introduced herself as Mitsuko, bought and paid a lot more than she had bargained for, the little girl's smile had never been so wide. "I'm so happy!! Thank you very much!! My name is Elie, so if you want me to make something special and custom for you, please tell me anytime!"
When Mitsuko had told her that she wanted to know where the candy store is, Elie jumped out of the counter. "C'mon, follow me! It's right next to Len's house!" As she's energetically explaining that, she moved right next to Leo with a child's nimbleness and slammed her arms on the counter of her brother's work table.
"Trent!! I'm going to the candy store with the nice lady, okay!" Beaming toothily at her brother, Elie then runs back to Mitsuko, grabs her hand and lead her outside. "Hurry, hurry! If you want jellybeans, you gotta move fast, 'cuz they always sold out!"

Leo was watching Mitsuko and Elie's antics from the edge of the room right in front of Trent's counter and had to smile at how lively they are. Elie is energetic as always, and as soon as she had informed Trent that they'll be leaving for the candy store, Leo looks at Mitsuko.
"I'll meet you there after I'm done over here. You go on ahead and have fun." He waved to them as they exited the shop and chuckled at how active the little girl is. "And to think you have two sisters to take care of." Leo spoke to Trent with a sigh.

"Elie!!" A little blonde boy, supposedly Len, raised his arm high up the moment he sees his friend from afar, along with a lady he has never met before.
"Took you long enough! Pops gotta visit his son somewhere far, so he's about to close the shop! I did my best to stall him out long enough, so go go go!" He pushed Elie and the lady inside the candy store that's about to close.
An old man, clearly in his eighties, is sitting at the counter locking his cash register. The chime of the bell from the entrance door made him look up, and smiled.
"Elie, welcome, welcome. And I see you bought a friend in. Come in, come in. Take anything you like. I already locked my cash register, so you free candy for you two." Then he saw Len trailing behind them. "Not for you, Len. You've eaten enough candies, you better get your teeth check for any cavities."
Pops coughed like the old man he is and continues to do some final checks behind his counter. "Make it quick though, I have a train to catch soon."

Mitsuko giggled at this energetic little girl. She was glad that children these days still maintained their high spirits, especially in this day and age where things can become overwhelming for them. Being a nurse Mitsuko had seen a lot of children deal with tough situations that they shouldn’t have to go through, so to see this child with such energy made her smile and gave her hope that every child out there will be able to get his or her strength back.
With help of course.
The angel walked with Ellie to the store and when they entered, an elderly man greeted them both. She smiled at him but couldn’t help but notice his deep cough and knowing this angel she will help this elderly man to at least breathe better and ease his cough. The angel gently went in front of the elderly man and used her healing ability to help him.
“There you go. No matter how old you are no one should be suffering with a cough like that. And I don’t want you to have trouble breathing. I’m sorry that’s the nurse side of me talking…”
Mitsuko went to go get a jar of jellybeans and when she got the size that she wanted, she put some money in an envelope to cover the cost of the jellybeans and she also gave a little extra for whatever the elderly man needed. People struggle everyday but it was super important to always respect your elders.
Even though he had said that the candy was free, because the cash register was locked the angel couldn’t just take something for free even if it was okay to. People needed money to survive. The angel put the envelope near the register so that he could get to it.
Mitsuko then turned to the little boy Len after the elderly man had said no to the candy for him, but she put her index finger to her lips to tell Len to keep it a secret and she gave him some candy, and whispered to him.
“Don’t eat it all at once okay? It’s our secret.”’
Mitsuko touched Len’s nose with a finger and smiled at him.

Once Len had notified her that she has to be fast, Elie had quickly entered the store and saw Pops was just getting ready to leave. It excites her when the old man ahd allowed her and the lady free candies, so Elie had immediately bounded to the section where her favorite candies are stored.
She had chosen a few gummi bears and marshmellows, stuffing them in the plastic bag that she had ripped from the side of the containers. Elie is mindful not to take too much, or her brother might confiscate her stash of candies.
Once she's done, Elie quickly moved to the counter, and slapped the coins on the table. She was too small to even see the top of the table, but her had reached up just fine. She didn't even realized she had put the coin directly beside Mitsuko's envelope.
"POPS!! Thanks for the free candy offer, but I gotta pay, or the tooth fairy won't like me!" Elie exclaimed happily before strutting off, passing both Mitsuko and Len on the way to reach the door. "See ya, Pops! Have a good trip~!"
She had such a boisterous manner by speaking so loudly, but it may be because she knows Pops can't hear her well. So the little girl casually exits the candy store with a wide toothy smile on her face.
