"Holy mother of Elrics, NO..."
That was the only audible thing she herself could make out from her own silent whisperings. Her arms spread, holding securely onto the walls as her figure was thoroughly swallowed by the darkness of the room. She's currently settling herself on top of one of the cupboards conveniently situated right at the corner of the room, offering her maximum advantage to hide within the shadows, even with the strikingly hot and sunny weather outside.
She had picked the cupboard furthest from the windows, anyway.
Syani had her eyes sharply overlooking from up there towards the entrance of the classroom. She had closed the door, of course, but still, being chased and with her adrenaline pumping, of course the half-vampire would take in everything currently as an alarm in her head.
She's sure that if the authority of the academy happened to open that door, Syani can't escape anywhere, with all the windows barred, and her escape potions missing somewhere in her long run. Her red cloak that she had stored all her makeshift potions had been snatched off by one of the guards.
She's cornered.
But, by a stroke of luck, as she turned around towards the very wall she's leaning onto, there's a high window there very near to the ceiling, too small for her to fit through, but wide enough for her to see outside the classroom.
As the half-vampire stood on her toes, she saw many students of the academy walking by with their own pacing and business, and upon further inspection, she could see the group of authorities discussing right outside the entrance of the classroom she's hiding in.
Syani's confused on why she's being hounded, actually. She haven't explode anything... yet... Maybe there's a rule here that doesn't allow outsiders to get in, or her fame of exploding basically everything got herself in the attention of any authority, especially of an Alchemy Academy. 'Yeah, that's probably it... But I got LOST, how could I--'
Her thoughts was cut short when she felt someone's staring at her. Shifting her gaze through the small window, Syani could see someone there at the corridor, but unlike the others, that person is just standing there, staring at her.
"Oh, hey, hey!" She tried to get the attention of that person, though she haven't got a good look of who that actually is, and pointed at the group outside the door, one of them actually had her cloak in his grip, now that she could see that red cloth.
Heavily hoping that person would help her escape, somehow. "HELP" was the word she had written on the dusty window as the only clue.

Rose had been traveling for a while now and while she was on her travels she had overheard conversations from other people around her age talking about an alchemy academy not so far from where she was at the moment. Even though she hasn't been to an academy before, the sound of it made her a bit curious about it. So she had asked for directions as to where it's located, and as soon as she got that she headed towards it with enthusiasm.
It didn't take long for her to find it; I mean, it looked pretty big to her. How could you not notice? The atmosphere felt so nice and new to her. She could see students talking about their latest potion brewing experiments and how they almost messed the mix with wrong herbs and other weird sounding stuff. Rose had asked permission to enter the academy, as she was interested in to what they do in there.
So, she went inside the academy and took peek at the classrooms to see how they were like. She was amazed at how fancy this academy was, she didn't even know if she met its standards but, she was so amused at the moment that nothing could stop her nerd moment if you could say that. That is, until she spotted someone as she was walking the hallway, a girl to be exact, the girl was looking at the group of authorities that were in front of Rose from a small window of one of the classrooms. She looked as she was spying on them? Or maybe hiding?
Rose just stood there, staring at the girl, pondering whether to ask what she was doing or just continue looking around the academy. Before she knew it, the girl had switched her view at Rose. As if she was trying to get her attention. The girl had pointed at the authorities, so Rose shifted her view at them; it looked like they had something of hers. She looked more closely at them to see a red cloak. Maybe it belonged to her? So she pointed at the cloak and looked back at the girl.
The word 'HELP' had been written on the window. Rose was still rather confused as to why she needed help, but she was more confused as to why she was hiding from the authorities to begin with. She didn't look like a mischievous person, so she decided to help. Rose nodded at the girl and got closer to the window. "Hey!" she whispered at the girl. "What's the matter? Why do you need help? Aren't you a student here and why did you point at the authorities?" Rose just buried her with questions instead of asking how she could help.

Syani's expression considerably brightens when this person didn't simply walk away like any other passer-by, but approaching her. She whispered a little 'yay!' to herself, before trying to open the window slightly.
Upon a closer look, it looks like her probable hero of the day is actually a woman, a 'pwetty' one at that, as to what Syani would say. The half-vampire was just about to take her breath in to talk to this girl, when the 'hero' beats her to it. She doesn't just beat Syani, she even rained her down with questions. A lot of questions.
Nevertheless, the black-haired is glad that the lady's whispering it, at least.
"Yeah, well, I'm not the most likable person here in this country. ...Okay, in a lot of countries.." Her voice considerably lowers down when she's stating that last statement. "B-but don't get me wrong, I'm not necessarily bad... I mean, see that red cloak there?" She had pointed a finger at the group of authorities, one of them had her cloak in his arm.
"If you could just..get it for me, or...distract them so I could snatch it from them...I can totally get out of here, without causing ANY damages. Silently. ..Without them catching me for something that I haven't even DONE yet," Syani's literally begging to the young woman by that tone she's using.
"I really want to be a student here so bad, but they just suddenly charged at me and attempted to catch me before I can shoo myself off. It's just so uncool..." Probably its her fame of destroying so many buildings in her past years had caught many pairs of eyes from several authoritative figures.

Rose chuckled at the girl's statement. She didn't see how the girl she was talking to, well, whispering to at the moment, could be a bad person. But before Rose could keep drifting in her mind the girl had pointed at the authorities, more likely, at what one of them had been holding. Rose was right; the red cloak did belong to her after all.
"I'm guessing that cloak belongs to you." Rose whispered back.
The girl then started giving her instructions, very specific instructions. Well, at least Rose could get it silently, but that would be a bit too suspicious, in a way. What if they catch her trying to snatch the cloak away? Wouldn't it get more complicated? Either way, she had to try and felt the need to help this girl. Not only the need to help, but she was literally begging Rose to help her. Whatever that cloak is, it must be really special for her to want it so badly.
"Is that it? Just get the cloak?" she asked in a whisper. "Hrm"
Not only that, but the girl had just told her that she really wanted to be a student here and how the authorities had treated her in such a harsh way. Not that that had anything to do with the cloak but, yeah. For a moment she felt pity for her, now she really was determined to get that cloak for her, one way or another. Rose nodded at the girl as a sign that she was going to help.
"All right, I'll see what I can come up with to get your cloak back." With that said she walked quietly to the group of authorities. Thinking of how in the world was she going to get that cloak. 'Okay, if the quiet method doesn't work I'll have to use the "other" method.' she thought as she kept walking quietly towards the authorities.
Once Rose was a few inches away from them she started to reach out at the cloak, grabbing it and slowly pulling out of the arms of one of the authorities. She looked back at the girl and grinned at her as she had successfully completed her mission then she turned her attention back at the cloak again and pulled the rest of it. "Got it!" Rose whispered and then she smiled at the accomplishment.

Syani sighed out in utter relief when this young woman she just met decided to help her. This is more than perfect, now she can have a temporary ally. ...The only downfall to dragging an innocent into her cat-and-mouse world is...well, the half-vampire just hoped the girl can run. Fast.
Syani only stood on her toes, watching from the high window of how this stranger fares in getting her cloak. She saw the grin on her face, in response, the half-vampire grinned too. But that smile was quickly disappearing when she noticed the authorities realizing the cloak is gone.
They saw Rose, and that's enough for Syani to leap into action.
She hopped off the cupboard she's standing on and dashes straight at the door, kicking it open in such a force, the authoritative figures who were standing right outside was knocked down. The half-vampire then bounded over all the people on the floor, landed on the other side, then quickly tottered her way to the side to reach Rose.
"Hi!" she greeted cheerfully to the young woman while not even stopping her tracks, rather grabbing her on her wrist and dragged her to run with her. "Thank you SO much!" Receiving back her cloak while running, Syani easily slipped it on herself, turned to look at Rose, and warned.
"I'm gonna teleport us out of here, brace yourself, kay??" And before her next step was taken, they both disappeared in thin air. Moments after that, on a rather empty and unused classroom still inside the academy, the girls reappeared with a flash of the wind.
Syani burst out laughing right after that, somehow finding the whole thing extremely amusing. "Ahahah! Man, that was fun.." She stood up to dust herself and outstretched her hand to give this girl some help from the dusty floor, "I'm Syani, hahah! And what's the name of my hero of the day?"

Rose lifted her head up to see the guard glaring at her. She knew she was in deep trouble now. She laughed nervously while scratching the back of her head. “Um…This is not what it looks li-” before she could finished her sentence the door was kicked open and the authorities who were standing in front of her and the door were knocked down.
Rose blinked as she saw the girl totter her way to her and greeting her cheerfully before taking her wrist and dragging her off. Rose really thought this was gonna go a lot smoother, but now they were running for their lives. And now the girl just told Rose to brace herself for teleport ‘Wait, what? Did I just hear telepo-‘ before she knew it they had teleported into an empty classroom.
“I guess I heard right…” she mumbled to herself. The girl seemed to have enjoyed the little getaway as she was laughing now, it made Rose a bit more relieved at least. We did manage to get what we wanted. The cloak and a safe escape. Rose smiled when the girl stretched her hand to help her up and introduced herself. ‘Syani, huh?’
“It’s a pleasure to meet you, Syani. My name is Rose.” She said with a smile on her face. “And I believe your hero of the day turned out to be the damsel in distress in the end. Haha… so, thank you." Rose dusted off her clothes and sat on one of the desks.
“So, Syani… why exactly are they looking you? You don’t seem the type to do something bad enough to get chased after.” Rose paused for a moment. “Well, unless you count knocking down those authorities the way you did as something bad.” She said jokingly.

"Ahaha...I'm sorry about that," Syani rubbed the nape of her neck out of guilt, "I'm not supposed to involve civilians in my escapades, but...yeaaah, I was kind of in a pinch." Again with her guilty laughter, she bowed to the young lady too.
"Ah, nice to meetcha, Rose!" The dark-haired greeted cheerfully. Upon hearing that her hero just admitted she's a D.I.D, Syani vigorously shook her head sideways and waved her hands, "No way! I helped you 'cuz you helped me. It's basically the 'equivalent exchange' rule~ So you're still really my hero~!" Syani almost sang as she explained.
The half-vampire moved to an empty sturdy table, then telekinetically wiped all the dust off before sitting on it cross-legged. "Aheh...well, Rose, I... Uhm, simply speaking, I'm..kinda well-known for destroying a few...buildings." Syani mentally counted exactly how many buildings did she managed to knocked down.
"W-well, at least it haven't reached double digits.." Releasing a drop of sweat, the halv-vampire then quickly turned her attention to Rose, "So! What brings you to the academy??"

Rose's eyes widened when she heard that Syani, the girl she just met, was known for destroying buildings. Rose found that hard to believe for a second but when she remembered how she got here, in this very classroom, it made a little sense. But then again, just how did she do it? Rose shrugged the thought away and continued to hear the girl out. When Syani said she didn't reach the double digits on how many building she had pulvarized, she got a little worried about her and even Syani's safety. The thoughts were cast away when she asked Rose a question.
"Ahhh, well, I always seemed interested in potion brewing and stuff like that and when I heard there was an academy that teached Alchemy nearby I decided to check it out." Rose paused for a moment, Syani had mentioned earlier that she's been wanting to be a student in this academy. "So, why exactly do you want to attend this academy, Syani? Do you have an interest in potion brewing or in exploding chemicals and whatnot?" She said, letting out a chuckle.

Syani's eyes lit up considerably when this girl in front of her just admitted the exact same thing Syani's interested in. "What?! Really??" Imaginary sparkles decorated around her face as she stares at Rose with both her hands clasped together. "Me too! That's been like...my life-long interest!"
When Syani's excited, she's super excited. "I was lucky enough to learn the basics at this one school in Ianne, but that's really all I know," she shrugged her shoulders. Now it became apparent that she wanted to study further in the academy, but her destructive nature forbids her too...like most of the career choice she's been trying to aim for the past decade.
"Oh hey! Maybe I could t--" Tthe half-vampire's words were interrupted when the door of the abandoned classroom was suddenly kicked open by a number of delinquents.

"Huh?" The guy who kicked the door froze at the spot, seeing two girls already inside the room. And here they thought they finally found a place to hang and smoke without getting caught. "Ei, who're you two? New teachers or some teacher's kids?"
Since the girls weren't in the academy uniform, that's the only two guesses they could come up. Luckily, 'trespassers' didn't came up in their minds. "Look, we have kinda booked this place already, so uh, just girl-chat outside, won't you?"
They began to step in the classroom, and now it became apparent there's about 7 to 8 of them. "Hurry up, chop chop!"

Syani was interrupted when one of the classroom's door was kicked open by some men. Rose raised an eye brow when the men asked them who they were. "Who are WE? You're the ones who kicked the door open. So who are you?" Rose crossed her arms and twitched when one of the men called her and Syani kids. "We're NOT kids, thank you very much."
Rose wasn't really in the mood for any more trouble... or jerks, such as these guys. "LISTEN, buster. We had this place booked first. So, why don't you go somewhere else and leave us be? 'Kay?" Rose waved them off and hoped they would scram before she would go on a rampage. She looked back at Syani. "So, what where you saying again, Syani?" Rose gave her a smile.

"Huh, you're spunky," one of the smaller men commented Rose on her rebuke. The guy who kicked the door open just frowned and declared, "Hey, okay, no need to get all loud about it. We're students here, can't you see the stupid academy emblem on the jackets? So who are you?" He seemed like the less stupid one since he replied to her calmly but just as sharply.
Though, when the pair of women refused to leave, the guy called out some of his buddies name and out came the taller ones of the group, literally pulling the girls off the tables they were sitting on, tossed them up like rag dolls on their shoulders and made their way to the exit.
"Sorry. Go find another room, dears, this room has the only door that isn't liable to alchemy for breaking it down, so we need this room." As he said that, he brings out a small box from his pocket, and pulled out a cigarette from inside it.

Syani literally pouted when her sentence was cut off, then turned to the source of the noise. She was honestly surprised to see a group of delinquents there, rather than the school superiors or heck, even her mob there.
Unlike her usual bouncy mood, she stays strangely quiet through the whole conversation between Rose and the boys, since her attention are really towards Rose's hair somehow. The half-vampire seemed so distracted, she only snapped out of it when Rose suddenly turned towards her and implied for her to continue.
Syani's dazed attention was then brutally awaken when one of the boys brings out her extra sensitive phobia of touch by carrying her. "WARHHH!!" She screamed almost immediately in fright, then out of a sudden, one of the tables in the room exploded loudly, into pieces.
Hearing the explosion, Syani quickly felt around her neck, her telekinesis-sealing necklace gone. Looking around on the floor wildly, she finally spotted it near the guy who carries Rose. But before she can even utter out anything to attract anyone's attention to grab it, another explosion occurred. "AGH! STOP TOUCHING ME before I explode YOUR HEAD!"

He saw everything from outside a nearby window. Jean saw these two girls being harassed by a delinquent and his crew and eventually saw the two girls literally being carried out from the room that they were in. Jean gave Rose a chance to stand up for herself, but when he saw the two girls getting moved against their own will and tossed like rag dolls, and placed on the shoulders of these men and not being treated with respect his eyebrows furrowed in anger.
The older bounty hunter wonders why some men choose to disrespect women, and it is a concept or logic that he’ll never ever come to understand since he does respect women. These two women can walk and they aren’t children. There was a better way to handle this situation. If the guys needed the room so badly they could have asked nicely, not treat these two innocent women like they had no rights. Politeness goes a long way, NOT force or disrespect.
These men needed to go back to kindergarten and learn manners, because apparently they forgot them. Jean stepped in, in front of these men that had the two girls.
“Put those girls down. You know you should be more careful on what you say or do in here since the walls have ears so to speak. What gives you the right to disrespect the two girls that did absolutely nothing to you?!"
“Men like you infuriate me If you did this to my own daughter I’d make you cry so fast you won’t even know what hit you. An empty room is an empty room It wasn’t’ being used in the first place, so why don’t you save your dignity and get going? I am giving you a chance here to leave like nothing happened. I am a fair and rational man, but this is your choice. If you don’t let go of those girls, then you will have to answer to me.”
Jean crossed his arms to indicate that he was serious and not playing around, and besides he did make a promise to Rose to come running when she was in trouble.
“I can stand here all day until you make up your minds. I am in no hurry.”
Jean gave Rose and Syani a sign with his eyes indicating while he was distracting those guys, to start slowly coming down from their shoulders, and help each other out in some way.
He looked to another nearby window that was there and saw this unused rope nearby, perhaps they could use it to swing out the window, and out of harms way in case things got bad.

Two of the tall men of the group walked towards the girls, picked them up and tossed them on their shoulders. Syani looked startled when one of the guys picked her up by surprise. Rose only pounded on the back of the guy who was carrying her, ordering them to put both of them down. "Put us down, you--!!" Rose's sentence was cut off by an explosion. Rose really wanted to get off of the guy's shoulder so she kept pounding on the guy's back hoping it would just make him toss her aside. Another explosion occurred, this one making her scream.
Soon after the explosion Rose heard a familiar voice, it kinda sounded kinda like '...Jean?' He was standing in front of the group, blocking their path. Jean gave Rose and Syani a sign as to slowly come down the guys' shoulders. Rose looked at Syani and nodded at her, giving her the cue. The pink-haired girl slowly slid off the guy's shoulder and quickly took Syani's wrist and dragged her all the way behind Jean.
Rose glanced at Jean. "I didn't expect to find you here, chief." She paused for a moment and looked back at the group of men in front of them. They didn't look happy at all. "But I'm thankful that you appeared."Rose started to wonder how would they get out of this situation. Hopefully Jean had a plan on his mind. Since he has had more experience in these kinds of situations than her. Rose looked back at Syani. "Are you all right, Syani?" She asked her in a whisper.
