"Once upon a time, there was a little boy..." A child in an oversize black cloak whispered to himself as he stalked his way through a village settlement of sorts. He kept his head down, not wanting to look at any of the townsfolk in the eyes.
Celeste, a white own perching on his shoulder that only he could see, hooted. "He loves his mother very much, but because of one man, her love was forbidden." Many of the villagers he passed paused their steps, looking back to the strange little boy walking deeper into the settlement.
"So then he decided to find that man, and he sets off with his pet owl in search for one person out of a trillion on this world." The boy frowned more deeply at his own statement, but kept going on walking with his head down. "One day, after he find that man, his mother will love the little boy for his good deed and they will live happily ever after. The end..."
The child, Sean is his name, had initially heard the voice of a little girl in a particular house at the entrance of the Quekkori Village. Peaking in her window, Sean could see the girl was just starting to read a book out loud to her mother, so the little boy standing on his tip-toes leans on the wall, and listens all the way till the story is finished. He immediately sets off when he heard the mother clapped and congratulate the girl for her reading.
Sean was never congratulated by his mother, nor was he taught how to read by her. So, he narrated his own story, but then by the end of his tale, a lone tear escaped his eye. Celeste hooted yet again at this, then the bird suddenly flew off of his shoulder.
"Celeste!" The little boy gasped, following his imaginary bird in a slow run at first, then catches up his speed. That's when he saw the white owl circling a person there, out of all the other people nearby.
He sees it as a sign, so Sean approached that person. "Hello..." he croaked, forgetting to wipe the tears out of his eyes.

Kresta entered a strange village in the forest as she journeyed. She watched the people that she passed, seeming to be happy and healthy working as a family. She stopped somewhere near the middle of the village and just watched some of the people going about their business.
Unable to see the boy's imaginary owl, Kresta just remained standing still watching the people around her until she heard a young voice saying hello. She looked to her side then down a bit at the boy who seemed to have been crying. "Hello. Why are you crying? What reason is there for you to be sad?" She wondered, her eyebrows moving inwards to form a somewhat concerned face. Her voice sounded sweet and gentle but a little choppy as though she were separating each word by a sort of punctuation.

Seance shifts himself backwards a bit, rattled slightly by how this woman speaks. He didn't even realize he's slowly inching to the back as Celeste flew around and settled on his shoulder.
The little boy just stared at her, his large irises hovers to and fro at each of her eyes, seeming as if he's trying to find something. She looks normal, but her eyes seemed so...blank, yet so curious. It was odd for Sean.
Celeste's hooting startled him awake, and his immediate response is to wipe the back of his hand to his cheek, where the thin line of tear-stain shone his pale skin. He decided, that no matter how weird this lady sounded, he's not going to ignore her, "I'm not crying. Something stings my eye." The black-haired boy snapped sharply, finishing to wipe every bit of tear away from his eyes.
"...And who might you be?" From how Celeste chooses this woman, Sean figured that there must be something different about her than the rest of the people here.

"Oh." Kresta said in response to him saying his eye was just stinging, then she smiled. "Is there anything I can do to help the sting go away?" She asked him, looking down at him with a smile.
Her eyebrows lifted slightly as he asked who she is and her smile remained. "My name is Kresta. What is your name?"

Sean blinked his eyes to get the excess tears out, and at the same time, blinking in confusion of this woman's question of helping the sting goes away. Just as he's pening his mouth to answer that, her next question popped up.
Sean backed away slightly from her, staring at her strange smile and her blank eyes. "S.....Seance.." Seemingly entranced by odd her feature, he unconsciously spoke out his name in slight awe. After a moment, his eyes blinked from being trapped in the trance and backs away further from Kresta.
"What does...Kresta..means?" It sounds strange for a name, at least to him, but Sean had never knew another person's name other than himself....and his father. His eyes snapped back alive from being reminded of his mission and immediately asks her.
"Do you know of a person named Anthony Reinhardt?"

"It is nice to meet you, Seance." Kresta said, smiling at him still. Her eyebrows lifted again for a moment in surprise at him asking what her name meant before returning to normal. "There is no particular meaning to my name that is universal. However, my 'mother' named me as such to be a crest, a symbol for the future." She said, unconsciously leaving off terms like robotics.
Kresta looked at the boy still with her smile as he asked her if she knew of a person by the name of Anthony Reinhardt. Her smile dropped a moment as she searched through her memory database for such a person but came up short. She smiled again as she looked at the boy still. "I apologize. I do not know any person by that name."

All the while when Kresta spoke, Sean paid great attention to the details of how her mouth moved and how she smiled. He didn't know why, but it seems strange to him. "Kresta is an easy name to remember." He said, "Your mother chose you a great meaningful name.."
His voice got slower and quieter by the end, and his eyes also dropped from looking at this woman. At her apology that she doesn't know his father, Sean heaved out a deep sigh and nodded his head.
"Thank you," he voiced out quickly, raising his head up to meet her eyes again. "I will keep looking. Have a good day, Kresta." The little boy gave a small nod at her and started to walk pass the lady.
He had only taken a couple of steps until he stopped suddenly. His forest green eyes peaked over his shoulder as he looked back at the woman and asked with a semi-straight face that looks almost forced, "How does having a mother felt like?"

Kresta smiled at Seance as he complimented her name. "Thank you, Seance." She said in response. "My 'mother' will be glad to know that others think her name choice for me was a good one."
At Seance's thanks, Kresta still smiled at the boy. "You are welcome. I apologize that I could not be of assistance." She was about to offer her assistance as the boy began to walk away instead, signaling the end of their conversation. She watched him a moment as he moved past her until he stopped and looked back at her again. She still remained smiling at him.
The boy's question confused Kresta momentarily as she tried to pull the words into a more understandable context. "My 'mother' created me and programmed me to be able to function in this world. She had given me many useful functions and had taught me many things to make use of during my travels." Kresta said with her smile not changing much except growing slightly as she finished speaking.

Sean watches her expectantly, waiting for her to answer him. Once Kresta spoke up, his eyes widened slightly. He has never seen someone like her before, or a robot, to be precise. Technology confuses the boy, so he tends not to mind them much. However, now he's speaking to one right now, and Sean couldn't help but to stare at her in awe.
"C...Created..you?" He tried to speak that out but ended up in a whisper of sort. The little boy was confused by some choices of her words, especially the jargon-talk, but he nodded anyway. "I...see..." Because at least he understands what she meant when she speaks of her mother. "She cares very much for you... Good for you..." Sean seems to choke in the end there and started to blink his eyes continuously, fighting off the tears that threatened to escape his eyes.
