Keiko was wandering around this new country, having decided to stay nearby for a little while to explore. She eventually wandered into the rather interesting training grounds and decided perhaps she should try it out. "Ryoshin! This place is amazing!" Keiko exclaimed out loud. Even though he wasn't summoned, he was always watching over her.
Keiko picked up into a slight run, doing a cartwheel and front hand spring towards a fun looking obstacle course. With a bright smile, she went to the beginning and through herself into it, moving as quickly as she could through to the end. When she finished, she looked back at it with an accomplished smile and giggled a little as she turned away from it and began to walk away.
It was only a moment later that she noticed something sitting by a tree nearby watching her. She blinked at she looked at this person, wondering how long she had been watched. Partly wanting to run off to train - play - some more, she instead walked over to the person and crouched a few feet away and smiled. "Hi! My name is Keiko! What's yours?" She introduced herself pleasantly, glad to meet someone new anyway.

A few hours ago, Leo bumped into an old acquaintance of his right outside the training ground. The artist is pleasant of the encounter, until that man called up his buddies and pointed to Leo, continuously saying he's 'the great inventor who made me rich'.
At this, Leo was chased down right on the training ground, somehow luckily managed to avoid the popping traps and snares as he ran, and out of the rushing adrenaline, climbed up a tree there to safety. He's not particularly fond of his 'fans', and the continuous order for him to make things without his consent, since Leo isn't a man brave enough to say no.
He had stayed up there for quite a while, actually. Hours even. Well, he fell asleep up there apparently, since he's unable to get down, but was awaken all of a sudden by a slight noise. Leo fluttered open his eyelids, and after a moment of adjusting his vision with the shining sun, he could see a young lady in the training zone he had ram through earlier efficiently avoiding and blocking every obstacle there is in her way.
Leo sat straight, blinking in astonishment of her nimbleness and speed. It took her a while to notice him after she's done, and at this, Leo waved at her weakly, still haven't rubbed the sleep off his eyes yet. "Hello...Keiko. I'm Leo. ...Say, you wouldn't happen to see a mob of people earlier there, have you?" He pointed towards the beginning of the obstacle course.
"Oh, and amazing agility you have there. I'm impressed."

Keiko smiled up at Leo as he introduced himself. She was about to say that it was nice to meet him until he continued to speak. A slightly confused look formed on her face as she looked back over the course then up at him and gave a couple shakes back and forth as she spoke. "No, I don't think so."
"Thank you!" She said with a bright smile as he complimented her abilities. It was always nice to be admired, whether by a stranger or a friend. "What are you doing up there, Leo?" She asked him, still smiling as she stood below.

Leo's face contorted into a sort of relief when this girl said his fans aren't there anymore, so he nodded at her and only give out a small smile when she thank him. It took him a while to absorb in her question, and after a deep sigh, Leo brings up a hand at the nape of his neck.
"I was...hiding. And I'm stuck here. Can't get down." He replied flatly, while looking down at the base of the tree. The branch he's sitting on is quite high, he had no idea how he's able to climb up this far. "Is there any particular reason you're here, Keiko? Or are you simply wandering around?"

"Can't get down?" She questioned with a confused look as she looked up at him. She never had trouble getting up and down trees like this. It was rather usual to her and rather unusual that someone couldn't do it.
"I was wandering around exploring the area and found this amazing place!" She exclaimed w3ith a bright smile in response to his question then quickly went back to a sort of questioning look. "Is there any way I can help get you down?" She offered, wondering how she should go about it. Perhaps if she were to climb up and take his hand then led him down, she wondered.

"Amazing?" Leo can't help but to repeat her choice of word. Naturally, he finds everything and everyone contradicting that very word, but that's just him and his pessimistic view. He arched a brow at this girl when she offered to help him get down.
"No, no, your company is good enough of a help, thank you, Keiko." He nodded, latching his fingers around the sturdy branch he's sitting on quite tightly. "Plus, the view from up here is better." He smiled slightly, then looks up to see the training grounds. Indeed, there are several fighters there, avoiding and defending themselves from the traps.
"Perhaps it's normal for you to function in this area as it is to me to be working with a brush. I'm not very good with...climbing down trees, to be honest."

Keiko looked up at him, a bit concerned if he couldn't get himself down yet denied her offer to help. Her ears perked up a bit as he noted the view looked better up there and she looked in the direction he did where some other people were now on the training grounds. She wondered for a moment what it looked like from up there then looked back up at him as he spoke again. "With a brush?" she questioned, not sure what he meant at the moment.

Leo took quite a bit of moment to let Keiko's question properly seeped into his buzzing head. The artist always has a problem on concentrating, since his mind tends to float through the skies too much, perhaps that's why his face seems to stay in that blank facade most of the time.
"Hmm?" He replied a bit distractedly, his eyes watching afar towards the fighters in the training grounds. He caught the word 'brush' in her question finally, and then responded. "Oh, yes. I do well in painting. Sculpting and creating are also my forte. But fighting...." Leo's face slightly scrunched together, and after a moment, continued calmly, "...Well, let's just say I'm not very gifted in that sort of art."
The way he spoke is very slow, obviously revealing how distracted he is now. Leo snaps out of his trance way more quickly than normally after he spoke though, then shook his head from his dazed state.
"So Keiko, do you wish to join me watching those people? Seems two of them are about to start sparring..." He smiled at her, lightly pointing afar towards the training grounds area with less traps and more of an open field. He reached his hand down for her to take, though the height makes his attempt seeming ridiculous.
But Leo doesn't have any doubts, he had watched her stringed through the traps and snares with ease, and he knows she's somehow able to reach him. "If you want to, of course."

Keiko waited with a confused look on her face for his answer, wondering what he was thinking about. Her face lit up in a bright smile as he explained he was a talented artist. "That's amazing!!" Keiko said excitedly, missing the fact that he said he wasn't very good in fighting. "I knew a great artist from the village I came from and he often gave me a piece of his art as gifts. He wasn't highly appreciated in the village but no one really disliked him. I thought he was incredible and he even taught me some things, not that I'm any good but it was fun!" She recalled with a cheerful smile.
"Hm?" She turned in the direction he pointed then smiled back at him as he finished. "Sure!" She said with a smile then swiftly climbed up and landed gracefully next to him with her legs crossed and smiled at him. She then looked out over the view he was looking at and her eyes widened a bit. She giggled then she spoke, "Wow! It really is a nice view up here!" She exclaimed with a happy smile.

Leo stared down at this girl as she began to start off in her story about an artist back in her hometown. The lad only gave out a weak smile towards her, just happy to see others smile like that and said, "It's nice to recall memories like that, hm? Seems you have a peaceful happy life so far."
Leo could only stare as Keiko suddenly leaped up and somehow amazingly ended up sitting right beside him. The man could not help to at least stare at how incredibly fast this girl is, he can't even reply to her smile, since he's still in awe. The artist then closes his eyes before shaking his head slightly, and turned his head forward to see the view.
Though, instead of watching the two fighters that he mentioned earlier, Leo actually forgot all about them as his eyes just traveled upwards to the skies yonder.
"The world is just beautiful like that," he replied to her exclamation rather idly, but with a small smile. "Most people are too busy to notice though...being caught up with life. I suppose they forgot to stop what they're doing once in a while...and look up at the sky."
Leo just stares upwards beyond the bright leaves of the tree, gazing with such calmness that he's lost in his own world. Until something dropped from above right on top of his hat. "...Hm?" He could feel the weight, but he wouldn't dare tilt his head when he felt it moving. A lone squirrel had apparently mistaken Leo's hat for a branch.
"...Is there..something living on my head?"

Keiko looked over at Leo with a content smile. Her eyes opened a bit more as she listened closely to his words of wisdom. She then followed his look upwards to the sky and watcheed with a smile. "Pretty..." She uttered in a calm and happy tone.
When he spoke, she looked over to him. Immediately Keiko held her breath to avoid making any loud noise that would scare it away. She slowly lifted her hand up to her lips as she watched with a flushed expression a rather adorable squirrel on top of Leo's head. She slowly lifted her hand so that her fingers barely touched the side of his hat and watched the squirrel as it looked at her arm before deciding to run across it.
Keiko spread out her other arm then bent it around a bit and tilted her head down so the squirrel could run across but would end up in front of them. However, when she pulled her first hand up slowly to try and touch it, the leaped off her arm and scurried over to the other side of the tree.
Keiko's smile brightened a bit as she giggled. "So cute!" She exclaimed, excited at having had the chance to have a cute squirrel on her. She adored forest rodents like squirrels and chipmunks.

Leo sat as still as a statue, only his eyes are shifting constantly. He waited silently as he watches Keiko ordered him to be silent, then he felt the weight leaving his head. The artist blinked at how the squirrel made its way around her arms, then stared at the little rodent when it pauses for a moment on her hand. When Keiko tried to touch it however, it just leaped off and disappeared.
Leo wasn't even fast enough to register what just happened, and just stared at the spot where the squirrel vanished to. "..Yeah.... Cute.." That was the only thing he could respond to her, still blankly staring into nothingness. "..Okaaay. That was a...decent surprise."
He turned to Keiko, now sort of thankful that squirrel appeared out of the sudden like that. "Say, are you always this...jolly?" No other words fits her, she's so high-spirited and merry all the time, it intrigues him if that's how she walked through the difficulties of life.
"What made you so happy?"

Keiko smiled at Leo and giggled. "Isn't it good to be happy about all the wonderful things in the world? Amazing experiences happen every moment but most people don't give those moments the credit they deserve." She watched out over the field with a happy smile. "I love life. Even through the harsh times, I can smile because I know that there is always someone by my side to help me through." She smiled back at him and giggled lightly and she swing her legs back and forth beneath the branch they sat upon.

Leo sighed, arching a brow at the girl's point of view. "I wish I could share your optimism.." he muttered, though half-wondering whatever made she thinks that 'there's always someone by her side to help her'. Or perhaps...
"...Are you human?" Yes, that question pretty much sums up whatever it is he's been thinking in his head. There's too many cases of him bumping into human-look-a-likes yet they're actually not. Still, it's not her perception that drives that question to be asked, it's just her very last statement seemed a little odd.
"Not that its not normal to be bumping into a human as...rosy...as you."

When he asked if he was human, Keiko perked up and looked at him questioningly. "Huh?" She let out then smiled and giggled and said, "Didn't you notice my ears and tail?" With that, Keiko lifted her hands to push her ears forward a bit to make them stand out and lifted her tail up across her lap.
"I am of a people called Meinake." She finished with a happy smile, letting go of her ears and placing her hands crossed on her lap and tail. She swung her legs front and back with another giggle. "We don't tend to leave home very often, so not many others know much about us."
"Oh!" She perked up again with a smile, flicking her tail back behind her as she briefly lifted her hands from her lap. "Wanna meet Ryoshin?!" She asked with an excited smile. It had been a while since she called her guardian spirit out. Even though they're only supposed to call on their spirits in times of need, Keiko has a tendency of calling Ryoshin out at least once a day.
