Kisa was glad herself that the food was affordable. With everyone wanting something it was only a relief. Then Takato mentioned a friend. Takato also mentioned 'he' which meant it was a guy instead of a girl. Which was quiet strange for Takato.
"Yeah Takato what is his name?" She asked curiously.

"His name is Sasuke" He said, thought it was a one sided friendship sometimes. The boy hardly spoke if he did it would only be a few words. Well, sometimes unless you ask him about what he's teaching at the Dojo. But silly Takato had to be distracted and didn't listed to a word he said except for... gee what was that called again... Ninootoo? no that wasn't it. Ninjutoh? no that wasn't it either. Ninjutsu! Thats what it was called. Though Sasuke would kill him if he ever found out he forgot what it was called.
"He's kinda the quiet type so I dont know if you'd know him" He continued after that.

Popping an edamane bean, an appetizer, into her mouth, Esha racked her brain about the name Sasuke. After swallowing, she said, "Hmmm, Sasuke....Sasuke...tall, black, spiky hair? Yeah, I know him...sort of." She actually saw him frequently in the temple when she was training or off duty. The man only came to speak with the high priest or something official like that.
"My parents are temple guardians and I'm training to be one in the future. That Sasuke goes there fairly often... if we're talkinga bout the same person."

Small world much? First running into Takato and then Takato knows someone that Esha knows. It seemed as if they were going around in circles. It seemed like everyone knew someone. "Wow! What are the odds Taky-kun!" She said. Well the odds were pretty high if they lived in the same country. But still! It was even more amazing to her.
Kisa then put those factors in her head. Quiet, Black spiky hair. Why that seemed quite the opposite of Takato. Especially if he goes to the temple often. Takato's Temple is also known as 'The bar'. Kisa never understood what was so exciting about that place. Maybe its a guy thing.
"I want to meet him Taky-kun!" She said somewhat happily. A friend of her brothers has always been a friend of hers!

Black spiky hair, goes to the temple alot. Sounded about right. "That'd be him." He said. Takato eyed the Esha. From her personality, he would have figured Sasuke was the last person who would talk to anyone. But I guess if they only just seen each other around. Takato thought about it. "I'm guessing you go to the temple often too?" He asked.
Takato was caught off guard when Kisa suddenly expressed wanting to meet Sasuke. He really didn't know how to react to that seems how he was the quieter person. But if anyone could get him to talk then Kisa would be. Though would he liked that. "Why would you want to do that?" he laughed nervously. Takato thought about it long and hard in his head. Is it really such a good idea for her to meet Sasuke?

Esha split her chopstick as the food was served to them. She ate one gyoza, savored it, then answered, "Of course I go to the temple. My parents are the guardians of the temple and I'm training to be one, one day. I go up there five days a week." She wasn't exactly sure if that Sasuke guy would like to meet other people but then again he was friends with Takato so contacting him to meet Kisa shouldn't be too hard.
Sipping her tea, Esha picked up another piece of gyoza and held it up to Kisa's face, "Go on, taste it. It something you would never forget." The tigress chuckled. All that leek, onion, garlic and other seasonings in the dumpling were hard to forget when you have the sensitive sense of taste of a tiger.

Kisa looked at the thing that was being handed to her. Kisa went to take a bit when she was suddenly stopped like a wall. The smell was... weird. Kisa looked at it for a moment. What the hell is this thing. Kisa then held her breath taking a bite out of it. And much to her surprise it was pretty good!
"Mmmm! This is delicious!" Kisa said. She then grabbed another one. It was like there was a party in her mouth and she just realized it. Kisa then went for her dumplings. She waited a second. Hoping they didn't smell like those gyoza did. She took a bite. And that too was delicious.
"Oh my this is good too!" She said

Takato starred blankly at Esha. "5 days out of the week, Thats intense" Takato said. Takato could hardly stay in one spot for more than 2 days. Unless he's in uber hibernation mode. Then he could sleep for weeks. Not only that, she's never left Kumo! As interesting as this place is. Takato didn't know if he could stay here his WHOLE life!
To be honest, He was sorta glad that Kisa was distracted by her friend, and the food. He didn't know how to tell her that Sasuke wasn't the most sociable of people. How are you suppose to tell you're sister something like that?
His train of thought was interrupted by the fact that Kisa stopped dead in her tracks before taking a bite out of the gyoza. It looked as if she had just smelled a rotton egg for the first time in her life.

Chewing her food, Esha waited until she swallowed before responding to the only male in the group, "That's actually considered part time training to most of my clan. My parents stay in the temple full time, they eat and sleep there. They were just understanding enough to let me enjoy life before I dedicate myself wholly into being a temple guardian." The whole understanding part was a half-truth though. Her parents did not approve of her lounging about doing nothing, they wanted her to be a full time apprentice to the temple. Esha was just lucky enough that her mother was understanding of her plight and allowed her to stay and live in the town until she was ready. Her mother reasoned that if she was to be prisoned in the temple to be a guardian, Esha wouldn't have the resolve and the devotion to become a true follower of the temple.
"I'm guessing you lions don't have something like that out in Sougen. Clan training and what not... which is funny since aren't you suppose to be living in prides?" Esha asked before drinking her tea. She had read some books and scrolls about the lions in Sougen and that's pretty much what she knew of them.

"Well Esha, to be honest, our 'clan' really only consist the two of us." Kisa said bringing a napkin to her lips. Wiping her mouth polity. Sure, There were plenty of clans in Sougen but rarely are they ever seen. Atleast, Kisa hasn't seen any. Plus the clans there dont let any outsiders in their clans, which Takato nor Kisa are born from any of them. Or so she's been told by Takato.
"Our pride always consisted of Me, Takato and our mother, We were born in a country quite aways from here. Our mother both encouraged us to to chase after something, Something we are passionate about" Kisa smiled gently. In short, Her mother wanted them to chase a dream of their owns. Live life the way they wanted to. And no one else's. Kisa remembered her mom's big gentle heart. Even though she was sad to see them leave that day that they did. She was the one encouraging the whole thing. She had always been so supportive, in anything her or Takato did.
And deep down, Kisa was starting to miss her mom....

Part time.... ish. Sounds like too much work if you asked Takato. He hated working on the Green Cab, back when he was still in school. Boy that was a pain in the ass. Whatever made that place explode really did a number on the place. They pretty much had to start over with EVERYTHING! Takato was just happy to get it done with and get that paycheck. It was actually then Takato vowed never to stay in the same place for too long ever again.
Takato sat quiet as Kisa explained to Esha about their 'clan'. Wasn't much of a clan, but it was all they had really. "Also, We're not full blooded lions, So we're not exactly welcomed in most clans you could say" He said. They were half breeds to their eyes. Not that Takato really cared, Takato lived his life they way he wanted to and no one was going to change it.
