Kida inhaled.
"BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEC!" She panted, cursing her luck and secretly cursing all dragons deep in her mind. Her trusty fire-lizard had abandoned her. Abandoned! And why?! To go croon and sing to his one true love. Normally, Kida wouldn't mind this, would even think it really cute. Except to go get him back she had to climb Mt Rei!
Mt Rei! This was a mountain home for dragons! It wasn't made to climb. Yet there Kida was, still only a fifth of the way up the damned piece of rock and she was stuck. Kida couldn't climb up any farther, the rock was too rough and there was no where to grab. Hell, she had barely gotten this far and getting back down was going to be even harder.
"BEEEEEEEEC!!!" she shouted again. "NO DINNER FOR YOU!!" Sadly it was the only threat she could think up to shout.

Iku was on Kiara's back going for a fly. It was something they did every day together. You could even say it was a bonding moment. Just a moment for the two of them. It was then Iku heard a rather loud shout. The mountain was steep, and sometimes dangerous. "Kiara did you hear that?
The black dragon nodded in comply. It wasn't odd to hear screams from the side of the mountain. Many people try climb the mountain and only a hand full made it too the top. Besides the dragon riders of course. "A human in need of help?"
It was Iku's thoughts exactly. Iku signaled Kiara to fly closer towards the sound. They circled the mountain until Iku noticed a black haired woman. Iku then signaled Kiara once again to fly in closer. Once they had gotten close enough Iku realized that it was Kida. And she looked like she was tired, exhausted. So when Iku got close enough she called out. "Are you alright?" Iku shouted out as Kiara hovered above her. "You look like you could use a lift" She chuckled. Iku herself never realized how hard the mountain would be to climb if she didn't have wings.

Kida inhaled again, "BEEE--wha--Iku!!" she yelled. "Thank God! Please..." she panted. Of course, where she was, how she was positioned on the rock, she was stuck in that spot. If she let go to shift of even try to jump onto Kiara, she was going to fall down to her death. "I hate mountains..." she growled and clung tighter to the rock.
"Sorry to say....but I really don't think I can move." Bec was sooo going to be in trouble for this.

Iku sweatdropped. She looked like she had a death grip on that rock. Luckily for Kida, Iku had a pair of wings of her own. Iku then swooped down and started hovering near Kida. "Hm..." Iku said as she examined Kida's grip onto the rock. Iku didn't want Kida to fall. It was a long ways down. "You gotta trust me on this one ok?" she said. Iku then wrapped her arms around her waist. It was the only way she really could get her to not fall. Iku then lifted her from the rock and flew her over towards Kiara.
"So what are you doing climbing the mountains" She asked a bit curiously.

The moment Iku lifted them away from the mountain side Kida could breathe a relieved sigh. I've never liked climbing...how do I get duped into doing it so much? "Oh, it's the same reason I'm always running around his mountain or into random places....I'm chasing Bec. He went to see Orlith again." Over the time Kida had been here Iku and her husband Tyr had seen Bec fawn over the silver dragon many times. It was sort of a hilarious yet cute sight, a tiny little fire-lizard love struck by one of the biggest dragons Kida had ever seen.
"Thanks, Iku. I would have ended up dying there, I'm sure." Kida turned her head to look at Iku. "Say, got any tips for a human to grow a pair of wings?" Things would sure be a heck of a lot easier if she could.

"Oh its no problem" Said Iku smiling. It was funny how Bec was so in love with Orlith. Luckily for Bec, Kiara was a female too. Or else his little heart would be crushed. All in all, the whole mating thing worked out perfectly. Kiara found a mate who will never fall in love. For some reason, Zephel is just way to love replant.
"To the Wyer it is then" Said Iku patting on Kiara's shoulder. Iku looked at Kida. Her question about a human growing wings. She had no idea how that was even possible.
"Well, Uh... I have no idea" She said. She had no idea how to even answer that question. The only thing that popped into her mind was dying and becoming an angel? But like she could really say that?
Kiara then crooned in returned pumping her wings. So that she quickly could get the two ladies to the Wyer. Gaining speed at every moment. It wasn't long that they ended up at the Wyer. It only takes a few seconds to fly around this mountain. Kiara then lowered herself to the ground allowing the ladies to get off.

Kida resisted the urge to kneel down and kiss the solid surface she was now standing on. "Holy shit, Kiara, you're fast. If I had been able to climb up anymore that might have taken the greater span of my life!" However long that might end up being. Kida took the opportunity to stretch her sore muscles that had been strained in the climb. It really sucks.
"I hate to impose on you, but....when it's best for you, do you think you could be my ride back down?" Kida made it a point of directing this question to both Iku and Kiara, not wanting to offend Kiara as she was the actual mode of transportation. "And really, thanks for the lift up here." Kida was still unwary about dragon-rider manners and thought she should tread carefully. After all, she didn't want a creature more than five times her size with a jaw full of shape teeth and claws angry at her.

Kiara nodded her head. She knew she was a taxi most of the time. But to be honest she really didn't mind. She never flew alone because of it. "Anytime" Kiara said, now laying down.
Iku chuckled when Kida mentioned Kiara's speed. One of the reason Iku rides Kiara so much is because of the speed. Though these days Kiara's speed has been like a default to Iku and she sometimes forget how fast she is going.
"Oh it was no problem" Said Iku with a smile on her face. Iku then looked around. 'Isn't Bec suppose to be here?' Iku thought to herself. There was plenty of dragons around so it was easy to not notice a little tiny fire lizard.

Now... "To find a needle....in a stack of giant needles." Kida sighed. Every direction she looked there were groups of dragons in every color. How they were supposed to find a tiny green fire-lizard Kida had no idea. "Ugh..."
"Would it be bad if I just...shouted his name?" Most likely. The dragons might eat her alive for annoying them. "Of course if we just find Orlith, we'll find Bec." Kida looked back at Kiara and Iku. "Do you guys happen to know where she is...?"

Iku shurgged. She had no idea where Orlith or Tyr was. Now that she thought of it. Where were they?
"I think she went on a flight with her master" Kiara spoke as she was cuddled up in a ball. Obviously referring to Orlith

Iku sweatdropped as her friend fell to the ground having a melt down. Iku sat beside Kida patting her back. Was there really any way to make her feel better? Iku thought for a moment. Orlith could be anywhere about now. So who knew where Bec could be.
"Uh, We could go look for them?" Iku offered hoping her friend would take a breather. Thought it could take forever. Or maybe there best bet was to stay here? Iku looked around. "Well, Lets go look for Bec, Just in case he's waiting for Orlith to return?" The really should check the whole cave before they go flying about.

"What's the point...?" she lamented. "There's an infinite sky and Orlith could be anywhere and Bec along with her!" Kida let her forehead thud onto the hard rock and a moment later uttered a muffled 'ow'. Right now she was considering rewriting her no-collar rule for Bec. And she might just add a leash.
"It's doomed...I'm doomed....It's all doomed..." she sighed.

Iku sweatdropped, still patting her on the back. "Oh don't worry, I'm sure Orlith and Bec will come in any minute now" Iku said looking towards the entrance of the cave.
... Nothing. "Yup any minute now"
There was still nothing. That sometimes worked when Iku needed to talk to Tyr. But I guess it didn't work this time. Iku then looked at Kiara. With a 'What do i do' Face.
"I'm sure if we wait, They shall be back any minute now" Kiara said to Kida. It wasn't like Orlith and Tyr to just stay missing. All day long. The part Kiara didn't mention was that she could be waiting for the next hour or so.

"Any minute...pfft....I'll never find him." she said into the hard rock ground. Kida was sure she would have a few bruises tomorrow but at that moment she didn't care. Her fire-lizard might as well have abandoned her. Literally abandoned her. She was responsible for him, but he kept flying off. What if something happened to him?!
