Saphira nodded at Mitsuko, showing that she was listening attentively to her story. After Mitsuko finished Saphira couldn't help but to smile. 'She is quite a blabbermouth.' Not that Saphira had a problem with it. it made her feeling welcome and it was easier to open up to her, since Mitsuko was treating her like a long lost friend.
"Your mother must love you very much if she did that with you. And your father seems to feel the same.. it sounds like he was trying to save you from something." Saphira continued the conversation. It was very impressive to her a story like that, because
she herself has never even met her mother. And her father, he did the exact opposite to loving her. Saphira has been a tool for him, nothing more, nothing less. "I wasn't blessed with that much luck like you it seems." She said, completely surprised by her own words.
Then she lifted up her fish again and started nibbling on it until she finished up. It was quite a picture how the two girls, both dressed in white sitting in between of the pure green nature.

"That may be.... but if my brother Jake was here with us right now... he would have a lot to say about our father. And its not good unfortunately. Jake knows a lot more then I do since he didn't lose his memories. But I agree with you, both of my parents loved me dearly. My mom was... the kindest person you could ever meet. As much as I miss her she wouldn't want me to be sad. she would want me, to just enjoy what life has to offer. I haven't seen my brother in the longest time. So it can get lonely sometimes."
Mitsuko admitted. She then listened to Saphira's response. "We both come from different families, backgrounds and pasts but you know what I learned? It is never ever to late to embrace the goodness of life and the present. And heheh I apologize for talking too much. I didn't used to be like this. This talkative. I used to be very quiet. But being quiet doesn't heal the feeling of loneliness... So I have tried so hard to step out of my comfort zone, but I understand that some people don't like chatterboxes."
Perhaps the other reason why Mitsuko was this chatty was that she really enjoyed meaningful converstations with people. "Hm Saphira... do you have a hobby? something that you do for fun?"

Saphira looked to the ground again, but this time she was looking on her knees instead of the nature. "Your brother.." It was hard to understand for Saphira how Mitsuko could life happily with just thinking that her parents don't want her to be sad. It's a kind of fascinating thought, since it seem so totally unrealistic in her eyes.
She felt the sudden urge to start talking about her brother. This this though, she wasn't feeling anything that made her stop talking about her past. This time, it just felt good to talk about it.
But before Saphira could turn the attention to her, Mitsuko had asked her another question. "A hobby?" She asked blinking. "I.. like to sing, if that counts." She never had time for anything that could be called 'hobby', but since her journey began she found herself singing from time to time.

"Another artistic ability heheh, I draw that is what I love doing in my spare time. Singing I think is peace for the soul.. I don't think anyone can live without music or a voice, even if a person is not good at singing that shouldn't stop them from doing so."
Mitsuko knew that it was time that Saphira had a chance to talk about herself and the angel knew that, there was something on her mind. "Now what is it that is on your mind Saphira? I've blabbed on for quite some time I would like to know more about you. I can tell that there is someone you've been thinking about too. I'm all ears, and whatever we talk about today and during this camping trip stays between us, I promise you that."

Saphira laughed. "Well, I don't really know if my singing could be classified as good or not. I haven't had any listeners so far. I sing more.. for myself." She stroke over her arms that gained its cooling aura again due to the food.
"Don't worry about it, I like listening to you." She replied, but it was more like an excuse to not have to tell something. But at the same time she wanted to talk about it, because she remembered that relieving feeling that roze up in her when she was just listening to Mitsuko like if they have known each other for years.
"Well.." She started slowly. "It's just that.. I didn't have that much luck with my family like you had."

"no listeners? No one has heard you sing?" The angel smiled once more and said with a open heart and mind- "I'll listen to you sing. It's a good way to express yourself to others and let others get to know you." She nodded and keep in mind Mitsuko wasn't forcing her but encouraging her. A few minutes later Saphira began to tell her story.
Mitsuko began to listen carefully and keeping her attention to Saphira, and not being distracted by anything. Being polite and courteous means you give the person that is speaking your undivided attention, this is one of many ways that we can use to connect with people. Mitsuko felt sad for Saphira when she had mentioned that she hadn't had much luck with her family, like the angel had.

Judging from Mitsukos silence it was obvious to see that she was eager to hear more about her past. Not just to have a little talk or talking about it because there is nothing else to do. Just her eyes showed that she was deeply concerned about the things that she has heard.
Saphira didn't know though if she should continue to talk about it. Thats why her next words came after a small pause. "Unlike you.. I have never met my mother for example." She continued hesitately. "And my father was the extremely opposit of caring... but I don't think I should go into details." Details mean that Saphira would have to talk about the sins that she had to carry on her shoulders too. Also she didn't know how exactly she should mention her brother.
So her mind went back to Mitsukos comment about singing, causing her face expression to lighten up again. "Who knows, maybe you gonna hear me sing soon?" She said happily and then was wondering about Mitsukos hobby that she mentioned earlier. "You like to draw? Like what for example?" She asked curiously.

Mitsuko listened as she continued on with her story it was painful to hear that Saphira had never had the privileged of meeting and getting to know her mother. A mother and a child's bond is stronger then anything anyone can ever understand. Right when that child is born automatically the mother would bond with that child. The angel put a hand on Saphira's shoulder in comfort.
"Yes I hope you will sing soon. I'm looking forward to it." She then answered Saphira.
"I like to draw all sorts of things. Things from nature, friends, the love of my life, my brothers. I'd show you but for the time being my sketch book is being used to support your body. And don't worry your not causing harm to my drawings. they are safe."

Saphira smiled at the thought about singing for somebody, hearing this was actually something that made her quite happy.
Then she listened to Mitsuko carefully, she was quite eager to see some of her work, since art is most likely one of the biggest treasures on earth. Thats what she realized after leaving her home and past behind her. "Oh! I didn't know.." She said and blinked when Mitsuko told her about her sketch book and quickly sat up completely to check why she was having such a comfortable seat all this time.
After she spotted the book, she picked it up gently. "Its.. fluffy." she said surprised. "Do you mind... if I take a look?" She asked curiously, after hearing all the things that she recited.

"Of course you can Saphira. All those pictures reflect my time at DD academy, and my family, and finally to this present day."
Once Saphira opens the book she will see all the things that Mitsuko has experienced from romance, her favorite class, her friends, and even a sneak peak at her family's temple, of what she went through there to run the place. Each picture that that was in that sketch book is her life story but in art form. She'll even see a sibling rivalry between her brothers Jake and Kankorou.
Mitsuko also included family profiles of each member. So Jake being the first Kankorou being the second and her mother being the third. Her father however was hardly around growing up and because she lost her memory well let's say, her perception of her father is a good one, however her brother's jake's perception is a very bad one. Mitsuko only had one picture of her dad. that was it.
There were also various pages of her romance between the ninja Neji Heguya and Mitsuko considering she treasured all the time that she had with him. First loves are always special.

Saphira felt how the tension was raising up inside of her. 'A diary in art form, huh?' She thought out and slowly opened the sketchbook to take a glance at Mitsukos drawings.
It was easy to see Saphiras amazement in her eyes as she flipped through the pages. Mitsuko didn't promise too much and Saphira could almost see through the stories that were drawn into the book. She gazed at all the different places and guessed for the two boys being her brothers after a few pictures and when she reached the profiles she smiled that she was right.
She also noticed that there was only one drawing of her father, but that was no surprise concerning what Saphira knew from their little talk already. She also smiled at the romance pictures that she spotted. The emotions where especially well shown and it was just pretty to look at. After the romance drawings didn't seem to stop though, her hands became slower while flipping through the pages and her heart became heavier while looking at them. She remembered her own past, but also wondered what might have happened to the boy.
The book fully kept her attention and she wasn't even realizing that she didn't talk at all for a while now.

Mitsuko glanced up at the sky and then sighed silently as she looked back at Saphira. Her drawings that were in that sketch book were special but at the same time the magic that were contained in the drawings were being shared with another person. The person that was sitting next to her was experiencing first hand Mitsuko's school life through the book.
"I have been wanting to share my memories with someone new for a long time.. I... I really don't like to be secretive among other people. It makes me feel strange... But I'm relieved now that someone is experiencing my happiness through my drawings... There is no point to happiness if I can't share it with others..."

When Mitsuko spoke to Saphira she was finally able to move her eyes away from the pictures. They were indeed special for possessing such a power to draw you into them.
"Thats a very nice thought." Saphira replied to Mitsuko after she finished, but couldn't hide her concern. "But don't you think its dangerous to reveal yourself to everybody? I mean, not everybody on earth is as kind as you are... I can imagine that there are a few people who would take some advantage out of your trust."
Saphira couldn't help to think that way, after all she has done the same many times before on her own and she just does not want anything to happen to this nice girl.

"Yes.. It is dangerous to reveal so much to a total stranger... I mean I was told by one of my friends in the past that I am too trusting, but because of this trait it has led to good things and bad things. The good things is that it can strengthen my bond with others, because... I open up and not be secretive. If I am secretive then... I feel like I'm hiding behind a mask..."
She paused for moment and then spoke once more.
"The bad things that comes with being too trusting is what you said. Not all people are as kind as you and I... Those people that want to take advantage of people that are kind are called... well... Parasites. these parasites are the one that latch on to that kindness to see what they can get from good people that can't say no.. And I know I have to be careful.... But its just my nature..."

Saphira nooded to show that she understood. However this person was fascinating her. Who would have thought that being kind was such a burden? Saphira who has experienced both sides of being good and evil knew that being kind has its difficulties, but Mitsuko was a person who was FAR beyond being just kind.
"Thank you." She replied to end the thoughts roaming through her head, after all Mitsuko just gave her a compliment. "I really hope that you won't meet any of those parasites."
Saphira closed the sketch book and gave it back to Mitsuko. "It must be wonderful to have something that helps you to always remember your past." With this statement Saphira was rather talking about the fact that she wished for a past that was worth to remember instead of having something that keeps reminding her of it.
