Sean obediently followed the woman to the counter, barely looking at his surrounding as he did. Though, he paid full attention to Kida, her stack of items on her arms and also her generous offer. "T-that's alright, I don't know how to read one." It was rather embarrassing to admit that, but Celeste proved a point to him that it's better to state a reason with his disagreement in order to achieve mutual understanding. ...Whatever it means.
Though, one word caught his attention. Off-guard too.
"Candy?" His eyes had grown wide and almost glittery, facing up to Kida with his mouth slightly parting...and slightly drooling. "This place has candy??" He questioned, with more enthusiasm, now paying more attention to his surrounding and tries his best to locate the said confectionery, with his body spinning around slowly. "Where? Where??" Okay, now he looks like a real normal kid.
...Actually, Sean seems connected with his father after all, in the candy business, that is.

"Yeah they....do..." Kida watched, even more amazed at this reaction then the last. While a child loving candy was completely normal, good even for this kid, Kida could help being creeped out. It just reminded her of Reinhardt a little too much. "It's over there." She pointed, the said candy lining the far wall. Mostly it was themed candy or cult candy.
Drinks and snacks that companies had created that were often refered to in comics or popular television shows. However, when digesting his words, Kida had grossly misintrepreted what he meant by not being able to read them. Instead, she thought he had simply never read a comic before. "That's okay. Just grab one that you think looks interesting and I can show you how."
To her thinking, it didn't take much to show someone the order that comic panels went in.

Sean hurried down to the area where Kida pointed, his oversize black robe that ultimately covered his small stature tottered behind him, threatening to fall off his shoulders where one small button holds it in place against his neck. He paused after reaching the candy station and scanned every available confectionary on display. Most of them has the face of superheroes on the covering.
After a moment of thought, he reached out to grab one of them, rushed to Kida and handed it to her with a small smile. "I never had this one before. Can I really have it?" On his palm, is none other than a large round jawbreaker.
He shook his head though of Kida's offer about the free comic, "It's okay, really. I don't want to waste more of your money. Celeste will get mad at me if I do."

"C'mon, Kid, I don't mind. You only live once, ya know?" And it seemed to her that this kid really needed to catch up on the living. Kida grabbed a hand full of the candy that Sean had indicated and added it to the pile. Surely, it would be enough to entertain his taste buds for a while and keep him happy. His smile was much more attractive than that stoic stare.
"Well if you don't want to pick a comic, I guess you can always look through my collection. And I have a giant collection." Kida gave him a wink. Meanwhile it was taking the clerk forever to ring her up, but she didn't consider that her fault at all. She was a stand up customer here.

Sean merely nodded at her advise, slowly absorbing the thought inside his head and expanding the possibilities of her words. Though, he was slightly distracted by her generosity of shoving in a number of the candy he's interested in in her pile. The child stares at the items she's buying, then locked his gaze onto the woman.
"Kida...?" His voice is faint, and barely audible. Celeste noted him that.
"Kida. Can I ask you something?" That air of an adult returned to his face and that focused stare is back. Without waiting for her answer, merely just catching her attention is enough, he asked her straight away, "What is my father like?"
'I can't let myself be distracted. I have to keep moving, fast.'

"Err...." Kida looked anywhere, everywhere, but at the boy. She was afraid he would see her real feelings in her eyes. And despite how awful the guy had been to her, shouldn't a son be allowed to think the best of his father at some point? "Well...he's....childish...Likes to nickname everyone he meets....and loves candy."
That was all she could come up with that didn't involve any kind of swearing. Or worse.
Kida didn't want to see that expression on Sean's face anymore. A kid of his age needed the smile he had worn just a few minutes ago when he was looking at the candy. He needed normalcy. And normal wasn't Reinhardt.

Seance stares at Kida with immense focus, catching every bit of motion her eyes darted to and locked his lips tight as she finally described his father. But well, when any words are filtered through Sean's solemn ears, it came out slightly differently in his mind. And he said it aloud too, to confirm it, "He's immature, odd and obsessive. Were those it?"
Though he never met Reinhardt senior, his mother had occupied him with a set of information to ease his search. Some of those information aren't even fit for a child to hear...but Sean never viewed himself as a child. He's like any other person with the right to pursue a certain fugitive...though his still-innocent mind didn't manage to understand some of his mother's information.
"You don't have to hold back, you know? Please don't treat me like I'm eight." But in truth, he is. Exactly too. Probably because he's not comfortable, or actually not used to back at home, being treated like a child.

"Eheh..." So he saw through her anyway. Of course. In that case she supposed she could be truthful with him. Truthful but with the correct rating for his age of course. Kida wasn't about to tell him about all of the pervy things his dad liked to do. "And, well, your dad likes...girls...." All girls, every girl, even when they didn't like him.
"Um, he was a teacher. I have a friend who used to study with him." Oh. Dear. God. What was Zephel gonna say? What was he gonna do? The guy had the tendency to explode almost literally sometimes. Hopefully he wouldn't freak when he heard that Reinhardt had a son. maybe new that the kid was actually--sort of--normal could cool him down.

Well, the answer got Sean blinking his eyes once, that's for sure. "My father...likes...girls?" He repeated, baffled. His eyes darted to meet Celeste for a short while, and indeed she reminded him that's exactly what his mother had said...only with a lot more description that seems to fly over Sean's head when his eight-year-old-brain refuse to compute.
He snapped himself awake from his thoughts when Kida continued. Sean's eyes cornered to to his left shoulder again, seeming to consider something with that imaginary friend of his. "What sort of teacher was he?" That question was from Celeste, and after hearing his own question, he's curious of the answer too.
"And, is it possible for me to meet his student...?" His tone didn't sound too interested as he intended, probably because Sean suddenly feels rather guilty of interrogating this woman so much. "I-I'm sorry. Did I asked too much..??"
No matter how earnest the child is, unlike his father, he knows when to stop.

"No, no, it's fine. It's totally natural that you'd be curious. Um..." Meet Zephel? It might be a very bad idea to even mention the guy's name to Zeph, but Kida would have to, for this little kid. Although it might be best to said she did, when of course Kida didn't and just let the kid live a happier life with out Reinhardt. But...everyone deserved to know where they came from. Maybe the kid would be small and just bail as soon as he saw what his father was.
"I'll have to talk to my friend.... He didn't exactly like your dad. They, um, had some problems--most of which he won't even tell me because he was that angry. But, you know, I do know an admin from the old school he used to teach at.... I'll talk to him too, okay?"

"...Oh.." Sean got lost in his own trail of thoughts as he unconsciously nod his head very slowly. The news didn't sound too well. He thought all women hate his father, but now even men does too? Sean's eyebrows creased in confusion, seriously not understanding what on Earth his father has been doing.
"Admin...? Admin sounds okay..." His voice definitely got lower as he said that, and after a short pause and a few silent whispers to his imaginary owl, he looked back up to Kida with his eyes wide and uncertain, "Um...what exactly is an admin...?" The little boy sounded embarrassed to be asking such a question, too.
"B-but, if it's too much for you, you don't have to do that...really. I'll talk to them myself." Sean kept reminding himself that it's his responsibility to be handling such tasks, gathering information being one of them. Plus, he felt like he's the only person in the world now that generally doesn't hate Anthony Reinhardt...
"You've done enough for me, Kida."

She blinked. "Admin is short for 'Administrator'. You know, someone who's in charge of something. Or...one of the people who helps run an organization. His name is Tyr and he had a lot of responsibility at the school your father was a teacher for." While Tyr might not be happy about the whole deal, he would be a lot more cooperative than Zeph would me. Not to mention she could probably convince him it was part of his duty to at least locate an old teacher.
"It's really not a big deal, Kid. Don't worry about it." As long as Reinhardt didn't come back to haunt her. Oh God... What was she doing? Helping the kid was all fine and dandy as long as Reinhardt STAYED wherever he was so Seance could go find him far far FAAAAAR away.

"Ooooohh..." Sean sounded rather pleased to learn a new word, and not some weird echoes from the back of his head for once, but he blamed that was Celeste's doing. Though, he's even more delighted to hear about this man named Tyr.
The mere thought of getting closer to the trail leading to his father got the child ecstatic, because after all of the troubles past, he'll get to stay with his mother. With that clouding his mind, Sean sort of did a little squeal for himself, with his tiny balled up fists shaking in excitement.
He was so lost in his own world that it took Celeste quite a bit of time to peck the child back to his normal senses. The owl was too late nonetheless, Sean's happiness is already overtaking his mind and body, "Thank you, Kida!!!"
