Leo can't help but to smile at her condition as he looked down to pull out his pencil out of his sleeve, literally too. "By all means, of course." He outstretched his hand to grab a hold of his closed sketchbook and pull it towards him contently.
"I don't aim in making myself better," he glanced at Mitsuko, directing that answer to her question. He leaned back on his seat, trying to find a comfortable spot, then opens his sketchbook in a black page while spinning his pencil around his fingers, ready. "I just want to immortalize your smiles."

Iku was sold, That way every one was happy. Leo could draw, Mitsuko wasn't left out, and Iku didn't have all of the attention on her. And that relieved her. Iku never really liked the attention on her. One of the reasons Iku never had a ceremony. There was no need for a ceremony, Iku and Tyr loved each other and thats all that truly matters.
Iku then scooted Michi closer to her, wrapping her arm around her. putting a smile on her face. A thought then was put into her head. She was truly lucky to have a friend like her...

And then again Mitsuko is the one that loves fairy tale style weddings and such, but then at the same time she couldn't force someone to have a ceremony if they didn't want one- the least she could do was to hold a small celebration for Iku, which was a bridal shower which was a work in progress in Mitsuko's head since she hadn't gotten it organized yet. ,(referencing another thread) it was the least the angel could do since they have been friends for a long time. She was happy to be along side Iku, they stuck together through everything during the school life when she was a new student there. It didn't take them long to become fast friends and to start talking- After all Iku was one of the many people that welcomed Mitsuko into the school life, and the way she was toward her, all cheerful and bright well that stuck with Mitsuko even after all this time.
There were loads of memories flooding back to Mitsuko as she held onto Iku as well and smiled. The angel would always be there for Iku no matter where they both end up in the near future- even when the angel falls in love again and her heart heals from the hidden heart ache that she doesn't show to others that care about her, she wanted Iku to be there. To always be a part of her life. Sure they were apart from time to time but space is important, each individual needed there space to breathe and to grow. However when these two friends are together then that itself is valuable.
With that said Mitsuko was experiencing a lot of joy she was truly lucky to have Iku in her life. Iku brought about a few things in which the angel lacked. Trusting herself to stand on her own two feet without being afraid about what others think of her, To make decisions based on her own feelings and what she values as important, and to never second guess herself- in other words trusting herself. We are by no means perfect so having friends brings about change and helps us proceed through life, and what we lack others bring to us by life lessons that we probably wouldn't other wise know.
"Then blow us away with your master peice in the making Leo. You're commited in your artwork right? I have a feeling that your heart goes into your art pieces." She said this in a polite but encouraging way. She did hear that artists are looking for ways to improve themselves and that is why she mentioned it, however she has to keep in mind that artists have their own reasons as to why they draw and what drives them.

Leo has already started on his sketching faster than the two realized. A graphic pen is already equipped in his left grip as that hand speeds through the blank paper of his sketchbook. His eyes shifted from the two women and the sketchbook back to back, trying to capture the image in front of him as precise as possible.
He didn't settled his sketchbook on the table though, just slanting it against the table's edge so it would be easier for him to draw. He doubt that the two friends can see his work at the moment. "Hmm," he replied to Mitsuko unenthusiastically, seeming to be focusing too much on his sketching. 'If I have a heart, that is...' His mind echoes alongside Mitsuko's encouragement, actually has been hearing her out, but never showed it in his face expression.
His hand started to do rapid strokes there, probably doing the shadowing now. Since he's using a pen, he's just simply sketching tiny lines on the supposed pencil outline that he had printed in his head, without even using any guidelines at all - a technique rarely used by majority of artists.
"Done." And less than 5 minutes too. He had mentioned that he just wanted to sketch them, so he did, and granted he's using a pen, he can't put too much detail in it or it'll ruin the whole thing. He gave the girls his sketchbook, then slowly closed the lid of his precious pen. "I apologize. I got lazy to do the background. ...And also to inject my...'heart' much." He bowed his head slightly, before pushing his chair back as he stood up.
"I suddenly recall that I need to do something." Leo said, packing his things back in his bag, but not bothering to get his sketchbook back. Fishing out his wallet from his jacket, the artist took out two 100 dollar notes, placing it on the table. Its too bothersome for him to call the waiter for the total charge of their dinner, so he just merely slapped the money -quite a bit than the real amount- there, and straps his bag on his shoulder, about to leave.

[Note: This thread took place two years ago, so Mitsuko’s reply reflects what she must have felt from two years ago. Since this thread is two years old now and hasn’t been touched since 2010 I feel it’s time to close it so it’s not just collecting digital dust.
Mitsuko looked at Leo with soft friendly eyes and when she looked at the portrait she was happy to see it turn out so well. Backgrounds do add to the picture but sometimes they are better off without it and let the main part of the picture speaks for itself. She hoped someday Leo would allow his heart into his drawings. One of the easiest ways to do that was if he ever found love. Love can make people see such beautiful things that they hadn’t seen before.
The angel was in love before and while it didn’t end well she still had hope that she too will find love again. She just believed with all her heart that some day she will find someone special. The person that fits with her like a puzzle piece, the person that will spend the rest of his life with her. The person that will never leave her. She wasn’t going to give up in love, things happen for a reason, so perhaps in Mitsuko’s future her heart will be given to someone that truly will appreciate it.
Maybe… Just maybe her heart is reserved for someone else, because after all life is full of unexpected surprises.
Mitsuko placed a hand on Leo’s shoulder.
“Thank you for taking the time to draw, it turned out well and I hope someday we meet again.”
