Takato was sitting in the quiet old saloon. It was more of his style after what had happend with in Area 51, a bar that was placed near his old school. Really why would a bar tender get mad if a girl started dancing? Thats an epic bar night right there! Takato was quite fond of this bar. Where girls would get up on the bar and dance almost every night. Where the bar was filled with men and women alike. Yeah... Its a fun place. Takato took a sip of his beer. Of course the party dosnt get going until later tonight, It was only afternoon ish. Takato didn't care about the time at that moment. honestly he just wanted a beer. It was getting to the point that the room was slowly starting up. You'd really be surprised how early people start plowing in for the party!
Takato sat there enjoying his beer. Living the life of the carefree person he is. He had to admit it was quite troublesome at some points. but he wouldn't change it for anything. Takato looks around seeing the regulars standing around. And thats when he started to wonder.... 'I wonder who the new girls will be' He thought. Thats when he had really hoped that a hot babe would come through those doors. Takato being the natural stud, had always attracted babes. The problem? making them stay.

Odessa has never been this far inland for a long time. She spent most of her time out at sea and the gentle and perpetual swaying of the ocean has become an ever present companion. The only reason why she traveled so far into the country was to look for her foster siblings, Takato and Kisa, who she has not seen for two years ever since they have separated ways in the school she had unknowingly stumbled on. Granted she never really took any classes in that campus, she enjoyed the company of the people who lived there. Unfortunately, most of them have gone their own ways and went on with their lives.
Last she heard was that Takato and Kisa now lived in Sougen. Fitting, Odessa thought, because they were lions and lions belonged to vast open plains. It was as much their nature as her being a pirate and being in the open sea. The trouble is, Odessa knew not how to navigate on land and found herself lucky that even found this town.
Irritated and thirsty, Odessa made a beeline for the local saloon and kicked the door open. This was supposed to be the tough, wild west, wasn't it? Then sure as hell no one would mind her kicking the door down if she wanted to. "Ey, you, barkeep. You better have ice cold ale for me or you'll regret it." Odessa practically growled at the old man behind the counter.

Takato was in a daze when he heard the door come down with a bang. Takato jumped out of his seat. It wasn't everyday that someone knocks down the door. He looked at the figure who caused all the racket when he realized... her reconized that person. He was shocked to be honest, He didn't know she was ever going to come to sougen, If anything he figured that he would run into her at fijjion. Takato was shocked for a moment. Quickly snapping out of it he chuckled. The thought was funny she was here in Sougen of all places, and walked right past him for a beer.
"Somethings never change do they Odie" He called out to her. Him only being a few seats away from her. And of all places he would run into her. A bar. Takato remembered all the drunken beer fest they have had in the past. Well as much as he could. Some nights seemed like a blur others were crystal clear to him.

Odessa stopped when she heard a familiar voice. She can recognized that voice anywhere. The pirate turned around and saw her foster brother, Takato, sitting just a few seats away from her as if they haven't seen each other for two years. "'Some things never change'" She mimic before dashing to the unknowing man and grabbing his collar.
"Damn this blasted cloak of yours! I can never recognize you. Do you know how far I came inland just to see you and Kisa? And all you say is 'some thing never change'." Odessa ranted while shaking the hapless man by the collar of his shirt. Violence is a constant companion with Odessa was present so this was really nothing compared to her outbursts.
Trying to act cool, this idiot can't even say hi right, Odessa though. "Where's my fuckin' beer?!"

Takato probably should have shown a little more excitement when he saw her. Why he didn't he didn't really know. It was just the way he naturally acted around her. Takato wasn't surprised though when she came flying towards him grabbing the collar of his shirt, shaking him back and forth. Takato immediately handed her his beer, a little afraid for his life. (he knows how ferocious she could get) He didn't care that she would guzzle it and he would have to buy a new one all he knew he had to get out of this situation fast or she might be an angry drunk later. But deep down he knew this was just the only way she showed... affection? Odie was violent.... very violent. Sometimes Takato didnt even know if it were affection or just her just being violent. "I'm sorry! You know i missed you!" Takato yelled. Takato didn't want to sound like a bitch, but with Odie, there was no other way.
Thats when Takato turned the tables around, Pulling her close into an arm lock of a hug. Holding her tight enough so that she couldn't kill him. "Yo! I need a pitcher over here or she's NOT gonna be happy!!!" He yelled to the bartender hoping he would get to them fast! he could only imagine what would happen if she DIDN'T get a pitcher at this moment. It would've been all bad...

Odessa suddenly stopped at the mention of beer. Her eyes then narrowed back at Takato, momentarily ignoring the thought of nice ice cold beer. As one last hit, Odessa smacked both her hands on Takato's cheeks, like a double slap only simultaneously. The pirate then calmed down and sat on the stool next to Takato's.
"So is this what you've been doing these last two years? Drinking and womanizing?" Odessa blurted out while she waited for her beer. "You're really doing my old man proud." She continued wryly.

"Rough as ever I see"Takato placed his hand on his cheek. Ow, that hurt, but what else would he expect from Odie? He was actually quite surprised that She was even here, Shocked even. She was actually lucky that she found him here because of all the moving around he did. Takato smirked at the thought of doing uncle Seiji proud. Man he missed that old geezer. "As if theirs anything else to do around these parts" He smirked. "But no, thats not all that I have been doing"
As Takato sat back into his seat the pitcher of beer came sliding down the bar. One of the things he liked about this place, you got your beer quick without any hassles. He poured himself a glass and gave the rest of the pitcher to Odie, Knowing that she was parched from walking in this desert. Well, She would call it a desert. This was only his natural habitat. "Been traveling... meeting new people, Seeing new places, yada yada" He smirked sipping on to his beer. "Still traveling the seas I presume?"

"Yes! Been at sea for almost two years straight since we left that school...whatever it was." Odessa said as she gulp down her beer. True to her pirate nature, the woman drank the whole in one go.
"By the way, that wasn't supposed to be a compliment, Cat." It wasn't as if Odessa hated her father, she didn't know the man actually but she heard from her mother that he was a womanizing manwhore so Odessa couldn't care less about him. She also knew that Takato was some sort of a protoge of her old man. The thought kind of pisses her off but Takato's Takato. There's nothing she can do about that.
"Which brings the million gold coin question... have you gotten laid yet?" Odessa grinned. It was a question she usually asks when she sees him. No matter how much Takato flirts with women, he couldn't seem to land a single one. It's quite amusing to Odessa to say the least.

Takato knew it wasn't a compliment, but it was to him. Uncle Seiji was fun. One thing he tought was to enjoy life. Fight for what you believe in. He was a true hero, and Takato felt blessed he was able to look up to him. Not because he was a man whore,(though thats what most people remember him by) but because he defended his kingdom, A brave general. And Kikai was lucky to bear his child. And Odie is lucky to have a father like him. Though it wasn't long before Odie popped the famous question of hers. Does she really have to ask that?
Takato sight hopelessly. "No Odie, I have not been laid yet" He wasn't going to hear the end of that one. Yeah he can see it now. Even when they were drunk she would still be laughing about it. He took another drink of his glass signaling the bartender for another couple pitchers, Watching Odie guzle that thing made him thirsty.

And laugh Odessa did. She knew it! Takato didn't look any different than how she knew it last so obviously, nothing has changed in his life. "Figures..." Odessa chuckled. "It's okay, Takato. Being single is the best gift you can give to yourself." The pirate grinned then chucked the mug to the bartender to refilled.
"By the way, where's Kisa? You two are usually together." Odessa was almost tempted to look around for her gentle foster sister though she knew that this saloon is one of the last place she'll see her. Kisa was so mild-mannered that it was almost wrong for her to be here despite being of age. Even now, Odessa imagines Kisa as a little girl, playing with flowers and dolls.

Takato stayed quiet as he guzzled his pitcher down. It was quite refreashing. And now that he thought about it, it was getting a little hot in here. Takato then took off his cape placing it on the chair next to him on the oposite side of Odie. It wasn't the alcohol getting to him. No not this time. In fact Takato was quite sober at the moment. "Well wheres the fun in being alone?" Takato chuckled. Seriously? He was only chasing after fantasies that he could only dream of at this moment. You could say it was the pirate part that was pasted down to Takato and not Odessa, for obvious reasons?
Takato looked around after hearing Odies question. "Well, Obviously not here" He smirked. "I think she said she was going to take a nap somewhere?" He responded finishing the pitcher. He felt pressure building up in his chest. Lightly punching it to let it out. "*Burp*" He let out. not even being slightly polite about it.

Odessa smirked and said, "Good one. So Kisa lives here in Sougen too?" She then sighed, "I'm not much for terrestrial navigation. I didn't know where I was until I bumped into some redneck outside of town."
She took her second mug and held it by its handle. "Fun in being alone? When have you been alone? There's no such thing. Fun in being single is that you can do anything you want without anyone nagging at you or you feeling guilty about. All you have to think about is yourself." It's impossible to be alone because there will always been friends and family around. No one is alone as far as Odessa was concerned.

Thats when it dawned on him. Was Odessa still a virgin herself? That seemed impossible. From what Takato has heard from Uncle Seiji, Kikai was a freak in the bed. So there had to be some kind of wild side in there. It did show alittle bit. But back then he couldn't tell if she was just playing or not. Takato looked at her, He couldn't help but wonder. He was about to ask, but stopped himself. 'Meh, I dont want to know about her sex life anyways' Takato then took another drink. "I guess its true, But if your alone, you ca never have an ... adventure" He chuckled.
He knew he was going to get hit for that one. She always is the abusive one. In fact Takato couldn't remember a day in his life he didn't get wacked in the head by her. He chuckled, remembering the days when they were little. Their adventures seemed to never end. It was one after another after another. Haha
"Hah, Hey Odie remember the first time you and me snuck out, and we tried out beer for the very first time?" The memory had never been so clear yet so fuzzy. Well he remembered everything before hand. How they had snuck out and went to their favorite hang out spot. Of course they were way underage. But that didn't stop them. No, nothing stopped them back then.

Odessa snickered to herself. "Who'd forget that? Betty the innkeeper threw a rolling pin on your head and you didn't even dodge. I think it was way more than the beer that made you drunk that day." She then started drinking her 2nd mug.
"As for adventure, I need none of that. Why look for that when I have all the oceans to explore. Lots of dumb men on board too...dumb but useful tools when push comes to shove. They do everything I say." Odessa said playfully. She was serious though. Being a ship's captain does have its advantages.

Takato burst out in laughter. Betty, who could forget betty. Of all the people to catching sneaking out not the parents but betty. The one who was least cared about them yet always seemed to catch them. "Betty was hot, And lets just say i wasn't paying attention to the rolling pin" Takato grinned sheepishly. "Plus if I remembered right that was night she came out in nothing but a towel". Of course Takato didn't have his eyes trained well enough look out the corners yet.
"Or how about, the time when we made Kisa drink some" Now that was a sight to see. Kisa didn't know up or down. To this day she dosnt even remember it. those were the days....
