A flash of silver hair in the moonlight whipped around in the wind as Remi swiftly made his way between buildings, wearing his black pants and trademark black trench coat, his weapons hiding underneath.
His job tonight was a slaughter. There were six businessmen in Ârthera tonight that had met up with Remi's boss and are planning to betray him. Therefore, Remi was sent to kill them.
He climbed up onto the balconies of the highest class hotel in Ârthera and made his way to the open window of one of the business men. For this job, Remi had a silencer that he attached to the end of his pistol before carefully making his way into the room.
The man was just coming out of the bathroom when Remi's pistol shot through his skull, leaving him with no time to react. He then left that room and moved onto the next one. It was a thing of convenience that these men were all staying in adjacent rooms. He knocked on the next door, hiding his pistol until the man opened the door. He then swiftly pulled it out and shot the man through the heart, getting a bit of blood splashed out onto the sleeve of his black trench.
He looked down at the blood with a cold stare for a moment before pushing the body into the room and shutting the door. He then headed to the next door and knocked. He continued this, quietly shooting the men until he reached the fourth room. It was a woman who had opened the door.
Remi stared coldly at the woman as he heard a male voice coming from the bathroom. 'They didn't tell me on of them had a woman with him...' He thought briefly before pulling the gun on her and shot her. He dragged her into the room and let her fall on the floor. The sound of her falling alerted the man who then exited the bathroom, only to be shot in the head by Remi's pistol.
A moment later, he heard the sound of crying elsewhere in the room and walked in further, seeing a child hiding behind the bed with tears running down his face.
Remi stared at the little boy a moment longer, his eyebrow twitching slightly for a moment before he raised his pistol towards the little boy and shot him as well.
Remi then wiped the building glare off his face and headed out of the room, now with a few more blood splatters on his trench coat and hand. He looked both ways in the hallway before heading to the next door and knocking. When the man answered, he shot him quickly then pushed him inside and exited the room again.
Not having checked that room, however, he was a bit surprised when he heard a woman scream. Remi's eyebrow twitched again as he went to the last room and knocked. The man opened the door and Remi quickly shot him. By this point, however, some other people staying at the hotel began to open their door and a few of them even witnessed his last murder.
The woman from the other room had called the police and so did some of the other people who witnessed his last murder then quickly retreated into their rooms.
Remi's expression turned into a slight glare as he knew what would be heading this way in less than a minute. He then headed inside the room of his last kill and shut the door behind him. He put his gun away in the holder, the silencer placed in a separate pouch, as he made his way to the back window.
Remi then opened the window and headed out onto the balcony. He looked around a moment, judging the distance from the balcony he stood on to the roof of the next building then stood up on the rail and jumped.
Barely reaching the edge of the neighboring roof, Remi pulled himself up and started to run away. The woman next door on the phone to the police had seen him escape and informed them of the direction he was heading.
Remi continued along the roof tops in that direction until he started to hear the sirens approaching. A dark glare with a twisted smirk fused into it formed on his face as he knew what was coming. He quickly changed directions and started moving a different way, remaining on top of the roofs a little longer.
As he was just about to pass over a main street, he heard a gun shot that made him jump back. 'Shit... looks like they caught up...' He thought with a glare as he knew that shot must have come from one of the bounty hunters in the area.
They've been after Remi for a while now, only knowing him by his trademark nickname Kagetsuki. He turned away from that street then and headed in the opposite direction. 'I need to get out of Ârthera for now..' He thought to himself, trying to decide where in Veyyard he should head to to lay low for a little while and ditch his bloody trench coat.
He jumped over a few more buildings before slipping down a small crack between two and continued heading in the same direction before turning again in a different direction.
There was only one main exit out of Ârthera, but Remi knew at least six other hidden ones used for smuggling or sneaking out fast to hide from the cops and hunters.
Remi eventually came across a small group of men in the the mob with him. He went over to them quickly and hid himself from the streets behind them in their bar. "Bounty hunters are after me." He told them with a cold stare. Even after all of that running, he maintained his cool and didn't seem out of breath. "The boss will never forgive you guys if you let them catch me. You know what to do." He said to them as he made his way to the back of the bar and snuck out of the exist.
Because this bar was so close to the walls surrounding Ârthera, it only took one last sprint for Remi to reach a hidden exit and make his way out of the city. He continued to run for a little while until he was sure he was well out of sight and continued on his way, towards Umbra-Canyons.
